PROPOSITION FOR ENGLISH MCYT FANS

every other language has a word for minecraft rp character. we do not. this makes it hard to differentiate when we're talking. which is why i make my proposition today

"Blockling" is the new word in english for a minecraft character

using it is easy! example: when talking about like slimecicle's minecraft character -> "blockling slimecicle is so [x]" boom there you go. blockling. use it as an adjective or a noun. it's multifunctional. it doesn't replace q!/c! however and can be used in tandem or separate from them

edit: If you don't speak American English I understand blockling sounds a bit awkward, so my second suggestion is that people take the word block and then apply whatever the most common diminutive is for your dialect. ie australian english would get something like blokko or british english would get blockie. other words in english are like this, i don't see why this one can't!

other language versions are cubito (spanish) and cubinho (portuguese) if you were curious :D you can also just loanword these into english and say them instead!

Hey, so uh-

The wilbur situation has deeply affected the mcyt community, some people just effectively just cutting his parts out while others just focusing on his character. I don't want to make this about him, but man, it is hard because he was basically just everywhere in the past 3-4ish years for me.

Anyway, the issue at hand. I have been writing this fic since august, a dsmp x qsmp oneshot crossover about fundy and slime. He's not the main focus, but his character's relationship with them is a pretty important part of the story. It basically all falls apart without their history and I think I'd have to drop it completely before I could figure out how to rewrite.

In the past, every creator controversy that was actually an issue and not just twitter piling on someone for no reason, I abandoned the work to never leave the google doc. But, like I said, I've been working on this since august AND he isn't even the main focus. I just want to know your guys' opinions on this.

Summary down below for why it'd be so hard to write him out.

So, this takes place between the funeral and creation for gegg. Slimecicle is morning in his own self-destructive way when he "dies" on the traintracks and ends up in the afterlife (train station), which is basically where players go between servers.

We have an SCU reference as he finds a bar with schlatt and fundy. They basically explain how it works, but then an argument starts. This is the part that creates an issue on if I should finish this or not.

Schlatt and fundy argue about wilbur, which causes fundy to storm out. And schlatt cares in his own way, so he asks for slime's help. Fundy and slime end up bonding over their lives and other stuff. They compare the shared people in their lives and how they changed, which includes the elephant in the room.

I'll stop sharing there, since I want some surprises if I do end up finishing it. But, yeah, I wanted to ask if anyone would be interested in reading. I'm content in shelving it like the others, but I know the feeling of a fic with the perfect premise just being dropped right out of your hands. And according to my past poll, there is a decent percentage of people who like these characters like I do.

Your Beauty Never Ever Scared Me

Gn reader

Y/n was an enderdragon hybrid, a species thought to have been hunted into extinction. The only tell tale signs of y/n being as such was the purple scales around their eyes, the small dragon wings and tail. That and whenever they burped, sneezed or coughed, they tended to let out puffs of fire. Y/n lived a nomad's life, never staying in one play for too long. Never really trusting anyone either but they'd heard of a new place called Las Nevadas which was said to be a safe haven for hybrids. Most to all of its staff being some sort of hybrid. Despite this, they couldn't help but be wary as sometimes hunters would promise safe shelter as a lure. Curiosity getting the better of them, they packed a rucksack with their small amount of belongings, hiding their appearance with a oversized cape.

'Welcome to Las Nevadas y/n from nowhere.' Confused they turned to the slime hybrid, 'Sorry, that's just Charlie being Charlie, I'm Quackity and I'm guessing you're here for lodgings.' The duck hybrid introduced himself alongside the hybrid y/n now knew as Charlie, holding out a hand to shake. Noticing how they rocked on their feet, similar to Fundy when Quackity first found him. Tentatively pulling back their hood, 'Nice to meet you both, name's y/n. Hope you don't mind an enderdragon hybrid.' Y/n simply being tired of running, figured it'd be best to get it out of the way. Silently willing them to kill them quickly if they were hunters and this was just a ruse, surprised when that didn't happen.

'Well if you haven't heard yet, we welcome all hybrids here. Now let's get you settled in.' Charlie leading them to a random empty room in the hotel. Y/n ended up staying for a lot longer than they expected, sticking close to Charlie the whole time as he was the first person they met. 'Hey Char?'

'Yes, y/n from Las Nevadas?' Knowing they'd come to call the place home, how they no longer felt like they had to hide who they are. Remembering how many times y/n's wings got sunburned, having experienced the most sun and free air they had in years. Their scales acting as freckles. 'Why have you been so kind to me?' Not that y/n thought Quackity or any of the other hybrids were rude. It's just they greeted people and then went on with their lives, but not Charlie. 'I don't know, I think it was because I remembered being scared out of my wits the first time I came here and I guess I recognized you felt similarly.'

As they sat there watching the sun go down, Charlie thought that y/n was beautiful since they first arrived and that it grew as they spent more time in the place they now call home. A nomad no more.

“Y/N from Las Nevadas, what are you doing?” Charlie asked as he walked up to the betting table I was sitting at. It is a fun game of bullshit that Purple, Fundy, and I started to pass the time. “That looks fun.”

“It’s called Bullshit, Charlie,” I turned to explain to him before looking back to the game as I placed four cards face down on the stack. “Four kings.”

“Bullshit, Y/N/N! I have at least one king!” Fundy shouted, reaching for the top four cards. To his disappointment, they were all kings. “Wait, what? Then what do I have?” He frantically searched through his cards, but in the end, he could not find the king he mentioned earlier. “Oops, it was a queen,” he grumbled, picking up the rest of the cards in the pile.

“Can I learn to play?” Charlie asked as he pulled up a chair next to me.

“Charlie, you need to master the art of bluffing before you can learn this game,” I laughed. Quackity came by, saying that he needed Purple and Fundy for something, so the three of them left, leaving me and Charlie.

“Well, what is bluffing, Y/N from Las Nevadas? I bet I could learn!” He responded enthusiastically.

“You try to deceive everyone of your true intentions,” I explained.

“Are you saying I have to lie, Y/N from Las Nevadas?” He sounded offended.

“Basically, but if you do it right, you make money.”

joel - prince of life: love the idea of him being a prince of life!! not only for the color scheme (lol shrek colored man) but also because that just works really well for his character!! i feel like he might work as a lime blood but since theyve got that secondary part about drawing in friends i dont know if itd work? idk something about goal-focused, kind-hearted, but also harsh and rude, and how he makes teams well no matter if its with other greens&yellows or with fellow reds. though im not aware of if limes are still around in this au u_u

Being one of the rarest hybrid in the entire SMP, came with a lot of attention towards you

Not that you wouldn't have it anyway since you have big beautiful wings behind your back and an almost unnaturally beautiful looks that seemed to attract anybody near you

So needless to say that you were well known, to say the least, around the SMP

I feel like, right of the bat, Dream, L'Manburg/Pogtopia Wilbur and Revivebur and Sam don't have much interest in you. The Dream and the Wilburs see you as a neutral in this chaos of wars while Sam just sees you as another citizen. But they cannot deny your beauty;

Ghostbur, contrary to his alter egos, is enamoured with you just like Slimecicle is. The two energetic men find your wings absolutely enchanting and they always have a lot of questions to ask regarding your hybrid;

Quackity is kind of like the first group, he doesn't really care about you but you're friends with Charlie so he'll at least acknowledge you. But he secretly listens to all the information about your hybrid because he's genuinely interested;

The three boys from Kinoko Kingdom, George, Karl and Sapnap, all are very close to you. George, whenever he is present and awake, enjoys talking to you; Karl takes some time to admire your wings and always manages to find something he didn't see the first time; and Sapnap has fun with you, but not when you tease him about being "taller" when you're just flying over him lmao;

You bump into Bad and Skeppy from time to time and are always happy to talk to them. Skeppy loves to turn tiny and sit onto your shoulder as you fly away, while Bad loves to relax with you after your fun with the diamond man;

Another duo you're very close to his Phil and Technoblade. You and Phil have by now become flying buddies and Techno is a very calming person to be around, he also gives you his capes to hide your wings from the cold;

You've stumbled upon Eret, Punz and Foolish a couple of times. You and Eret really admire eachothers beauty and won't stop complimenting one another; Punz doesn't open much to you, but you two had a few talks; and Foolish appreciates your help when it comes to his builds;

Last, but certainly not least, we have Niki and Aimsey. They're probably the ones you hang out most with other then the Kinoko Kingdom Trio. You three are the "Cinnamon rolls that could kill you" Trio, always underestimated until proven other wise u.u
