100%! its so weird because i believe both buymecoffee and ko-fi has "tip anonymously" yet i will see the email of the person who donated to me.

I'm absolutely enraged to have encountered a scam that is taking advantage of the horrible things happening in Gaza to try and profit off of it. This account was claiming to be a Palestinian refugee who is trying to immigrate to Egypt and directly messaged me (a copy and pasted message that, looking through the accounts likes, they sent to multiple people) asking for money.
Going to both their PayPal and BuyMeCoffee links shows that every account is under a different name, the ONLY posts they liked were responses to their copy & pasted message, even ones that refused to "help", and many MANY other telling red flags on their page pointing to it being a scam.
Please go report this page. It's absolutely abhorrent that people would try to make a profit from this situation, but it's also to be expected. Feel free to look through the account for yourself to verify the validity of it, but I'll provide some screenshots as well.

HI. HELLO. OH MY GOSH. the amount of times i’ve listened to cruel summer whilst reading the latest chapter of if i bleed!!! it was definitely a favorite of mine before, but after attaching it to this fic it’s become more intimate and personal. something about reading this chapter just clicked in my brain, this is the kind of love that i feel like she writes about.
LIKE GAHHH. fever dream from the highs and lows with this relationship! killing me slow cus do you want me or do you not!! and yes yes!! she’s borderline cruel and you write it like it’s summer.. like i love you really is the worst thing you can hear sometimes!!!!
AND IM GOING TO SAY IT!!! this thing you’re writing, this story. this romance. it’s a work of art…. dare i even say perfect. because i’m a hopeless romantic and love doesn’t feel right if it’s easy or safe. love feels like gut wrenching nerves gnawing away at you, like something’s sitting on your chest and you’re about to suffocate… and sometimes love is this back and forth of “i don’t love you, but i want you.” until its i want you i want you and i want you to the point of no return.
reading about these characters have also helped me better understand something i already knew — morally gray characters, humans. the constant stereotype of this guy is bad because he’s selfish and he’s pursing his brother’s ex… and you get the idea.. anyway! growing and understanding this perspective has helped me treasure certain relationships recently and i wanted to thank you for that.
