#but i'd prefer not to create into a vacuum?
Text
Engaging can be as simple as reading about someone's OCs, or as much as going so far as to leave comments or create your own transformative work of others' OCs (drawings, fanfics etc).

i don't know if you said so on your recent Web of Shadows stream, but what are your thoughts on Insomniac's more casual style of web swinging vs. the more difficult, physics-based web swinging? I've been avoiding Spider-Man 2 footage, so I haven't seen any web swinging, but I'd love if they could incorporate some risk/reward aspect to make swinging more engaging.
i think there's been a big push from spider-man game fans to re-contextualize Insomniac's web swinging as underwhelming and too casual that's kinda unnecessary and does it a big disservice. THAT IS NOT TO SAY that there haven't always been people who don't prefer the very low skill floor and relatively low skill ceiling of those titles, and that's also not to say that it isn't a fair assessment when looking at swinging mechanics in a vacuum. something like Web of Shadows ABSOLUTELY has a lot more rewarding moments of web swinging because of its higher skill floor, and when you really get a feel for the mechanics you can pull off some crazy stuff that it feels like insomniac's take isn't even dreaming of.
HOWEVER, i reiterate, this is all totally true and not exactly in Insomniac's in favor when examined in a vacuum, but in reality these mechanics DON'T exist in a vacuum. they're very important yes, they're how you're gonna spend a majority of your time in game yes, so it's important that they have a baseline level of fun and satisfying enough risk/reward to sustain an entire playthrough, or maybe even multiple. but Insomniac's swinging mechanics are in service of a game that not only does MORE with its open world than many others previously, but also does pretty much everything else a LOT better. Insomniac's take feels a lot more like it's in service of creating a much more approachable Spider-Man sim, where you don't have to necessarily "figure out" the swinging mechanics as much as you might in WoS or in SM2 (PS2) because there's a lot of content they want you to be spending more of your time on, and they need you to feel like you are playing an extremely capable and seasoned version of Peter.
playing through even just the opening of Web of Shadows on stream this week really drove home how much the world just feels so empty in comparison. the swinging was admittedly more fun at times!! but that kinda ended up being the saving grace of an experience that otherwise is feeling very bare-bones. and ultimately, as much as i PERSONALLY like mechanics with a bit more physicality, and i don't necessarily think that needs to be at odds with a larger amount of other content, i think my point is that i don't necessarily consider the swinging a FLAW of the Insomniac games, just a representation of the design philosophy of this take. and the design philosophy happens to be one i really appreciate. they want you in there DOING stuff, sure swinging around idly is fun and it's a great way to get you from point A to point B in a more exhilarating fashion than a lot of games even come close to, but these games have a much wider target audience and i don't know how much the average person cares more about the physicality of swinging as much as they care about it being an easy way for them to..... *sigh* feel like spider-man while traversing a larger set of activities.
THAT BEING SAID.... the improvements so far in Spider-Man 2 look SO SO SO GOOD and they will come MUCH appreciated. It looks so much faster. I straight up might turn on fall damage for my playthrough, which IS a new option they added. it's gonna rule.

☔Is there a fic concept you have that you'd like to just explain and share because you're not sure you'll ever write it? If so, what is it?
I had to browse through my 30+ WIPs to figure out if there was one I was willing to classify in this category, and...if there was a fic that fits it's a Legend of Korra fic concept I wrote up like 8 or 9 years ago in the immediate aftermath of the series finale. I genuinely don't think I'll ever get to it; not only because I've long since left the LOK fandom and have no real interest in finishing any of my fic ideas that aren't my "Justice for Asami Sato" WIP, but also because it would likely need a whole series of fics to properly explore everything I wanted to cover. I will, however, happily give a detailed outline of what I was planning on doing since I'm never going to get around to it.
Basically, the concept was to completely imagine LOK as the story might have been written if the creative team had known from the beginning that they would have 4 seasons to tell the story of Korra. I was looking at the disjointedness of plot, themes, and character arcs that happened because Bryke originally planned the show as a miniseries and then didn't know how many more seasons they would get...and thinking about how to connect everything together more coherently (within my own preferences and ideas of how things should have been told, of course).
The tl;dr of each fic is as follows:
Book 3′s plot would come first, as it should have in the show: Korra travels to Republic City to learn Airbending from Tenzin, only to find that some spiritual mumbo jumbo has created new Airbenders. Thus, she’ll learn airbending from Tenzin while they’re all on the search for the new airbenders. Meanwhile, the Red Lotus has escaped and is coming after Korra. Ends the same way, with Korra physically incapacitated and suffering from major PTSD
Book 4′s plot would be next: the fall of the Earth Kingdom creates a power vacuum that Kuvira fills. Meanwhile, we watch the season-long restoration of Korra’s physical/mental/spiritual wellbeing. We get the story of Wan and Raava this season, as part of Korra’s recovery arc (so she can discover and restore her bond with the Avatar Spirit).
Book 1 now becomes Book 3: also in the wake of the Red Lotus’s destruction and the tyranny of Kuvira’s Earth Empire, anti-bender sentiment has sprung up around the world. Amon takes advantage of this sentiment within Republic City. Korra, now residing in Republic City, has to deal with the anti-bender revolution as a fully realized Avatar (but one that is still struggling to fully recover from the Red Lotus and is now terrified of losing her bending because of the events of the first two seasons)
Book 2′s dual plot would end the series: Korra has to deal with the Water Tribe Civil War while Harmonic Convergence approaches, which would have had lore drops throughout the show after the ‘Avatar Orgins’ revelations back in the second fic. The series ends with a bang as Korra defeats the spiritual manifestation of darkness and chaos and pledges to lead the world into a new spiritual age.
A fairly detailed explanation of how I'd planned out this reimagining is below the cut, if you like.
Ask me a question about one of my WIPs!
The first fic ("Air") was going to start out with the re-emergence of the airbenders due to a freak spiritual event; this was going to be the reason Tenzin wouldn't be able to train Korra in airbending at the South Pole compound, as he was focused heavily on recruiting and training new airbenders and wanted to put off training the Avatar for another year or two. Meanwhile, the Red Lotus breaks out of their prisons and starts readying themselves to go kill the Avatar.
Korra would make her way to Republic City to try and reason with Tenzin that he could just train her while looking/training the other airbenders, meet Lin while breaking up a robbery in progress, and escape from the RCPD with the help of Mako and Bolin, two pro-benders who just lost the finals this season (but they’re sure that they’ll come back next year even better). They introduce her to Asami Sato, their sponsor and Mako’s girlfriend. She explains who she is, what she’s doing in Republic City, and what’s going on….and they decide they want to help her. They all end up stowing away on Tenzin's ship along with Lin, who basically designates herself as the Air Family's bodyguard (because god forbid Tenzin go swanning off into the Earth Kingdom without any protection for his small children).
We'd spend most of the fic dealing with the three intersecting plots: 1) Korra struggling to learn Airbending and spiritual direction from Tenzin, 2) Tenzin finding and training the new airbenders+Korra, and 3) the Red Lotus political plot and their attempts to kill Korra (which both fall under the “no more world leaders” heading of their group goals).
Subplots would have been more or less the same subplots as the existing Book 3, with some of the Book 1 issues mixed in: resolving the Lin-Tenzin tension, Tenzin struggling to be a teacher and rebuild the Air Nation, korra struggling to figure out airbending, Mako and Bolin finding their family, and the romance issues (Korra-Mako-Asami with a season-long Masami breakup arc and the Bolin-Opal romance…the Mako-Bolin drama over Korra doesn’t happen because we meet Opal basically right off the bat). Korra still ends up hurt and traumatized at the end of the fic. Despite initiating the Avatar state for the first time while fighting Zaheer, she can no longer connect after the physical and spiritual trauma she suffered, so she stays behind at the South Pole to be healed and further mentored by Katara.
The second fic ("Restoration") would have picked up one year after the first fic ends and covered the basic plot of Book 4 with some of the character arcs that Book 2 dealt with (except better): The fall of the Earth Kingdom created a power vacuum that Kuvira fills. Korra's doing her season-long recovery/spiritual discovery arc while dealing with the threat of Kuvira; we also get the Wan-Raava story here, to properly sow the seeds for the Harmonic Convergence plot later down the road.
Mako and Bolin go back to pro-bending, but both find it unsatisfying after going globetrotting. Mako's single, and Bolin and Opal (who's moved to Air Temple Island to continue her training) are still dating. Asami, who's chafing under the restrictions of being back in Republic City and once again living with her father, joins an underground street racing group as a racer and part-time mechanic; she's super lonely, since Korra is still recovering from what the Red Lotus did to her and (from her father’s POV) she no longer has any ‘socially acceptable’ reason to interact with Bolin and Mako since they’re no longer dating. So all of that happens, culminating with Kuvira's attempted invasion of Republic City. The Krew would reunite to fight her off.
The third fic ("Equality") would have picked up about six months later and reinterpreted the Equalist plot. In the wake of the Red Lotus’s destruction of the Earth Kingdom, the chaos that unfolded afterwards, and Kuvira's attempted invasion of Republic City, anti-bender sentiment has sprung up around the world. Amon takes advantage of this sentiment within Republic City. Korra, now residing full-time in Republic City, has to deal with the anti-bender revolution as an Avatar who is now terrified of losing her bending after fully recovering from what the Red Lotus did to her.
Bolin took a long trip back to the Earth Kingdom with Opal to see Suyin+his family and help stabilize the country a bit, but they're both on their way back to Republic City in the first chapter. Mako has, after bonding with Lin in the first season, joined up with the RCPD to work under her and is working his way up the ladder (hoping to reach ‘detective’ status). He’s still having Issues adjusting, especially without Bolin around. He goes and hangs out on Air Temple Island with Korra when he’s off-duty because people actually seem to like having him around and there’s always something that he can do (and he likes feeling Useful). But lately he's been hearing some concerning stuff at his job about the Equalist movement, and he's got a bad feeling about what it means for Korra and for all benders in Republic City.
So Mako has his police corruption investigation arc. Bolin is trying to figure out what he actually wants to do with his life now that he's not a pro-bender anymore. Asami starts getting suspicious that her father is up to something and decides to take matters into her own hands. And Korra is dealing with the Equalists and how to balance the "you're our Avatar too" undercurrents amongst the non-bending population.
The final fic ("Spirits") would start up about six months after Amon's defeat. Book 2′s dual plot would end the series: Korra has to deal with the Water Tribe Civil War while Harmonic Convergence approaches, which would have had lore drops throughout the series after the ‘Avatar Orgins’ two-parter back in the second fic. The series ends with a bang as Korra defeats the spiritual manifestation of darkness and chaos and pledges to lead the world into a new spiritual age.
Unalaq still sets up and starts the Water Tribe Civil War to gain power, but it’s also in service to creating as chaotic of a world situation as he can before Harmonic Convergence (opening a pathway to Vaatu’s domination over Raava; because the world is a) in chaos and b) out of balance, Vaatu will have an easier time winning the fight against Raava). The Raava-Vaatu fight would also be more explicitly framed as order vs. chaos (not light vs. darkness), which would align it more with how ATLA previously handled the concepts of yin and yang.
I was still working on what everyones' character arcs and struggles would look like in that final fic apart from Korra (who was set up to have the same political figure+spiritual leader balancing act Book 2 tried to pull off), but I know that I was planning to give Asami a Tony Stark arc and let her see the direct consequences of Future Industries’ war profiteering, giving her a reason to completely change the company around to focus on energy, transportation, and entertainment instead of selling tanks and biplanes to the Water Tribes. So...yeah. Those are the basics.
....and all of that and more is sitting in a detailed outline in a doc that I will probably never touch again, so I hope this was a fun glimpse 😭

When I made my "which characters read as neurodivergent" tierlist, someone pointed out in the comments that Arisa could have been put in one of the ND tiers, and I suddenly questioned why I hadn't put her there. After all, this was my response (minus the egregious typo): "Arisa I honestly tend to look at as neurodivergent. Her loneliness and being an A+ student, masking to the point of going too far with it, passionate rants, are definitely relatable in that sense."
So what possessed me to put her in the "something going on here, just not necessarily ND" tier? I've thought about it and I think I've figured it out. I like to read Arisa as physically disabled.
This is probably in the realm of headcanon, but it's the type that makes use of canon, you know? I look at her as having an invisible disability. With that in mind, I've used the fact that in the anime, she is for some reason shown sitting on a toilet a couple times (although not actually shown taking a shit, I guess she's just... sitting there...), which is very natural but just isn't the case for the other characters I feel like? That's not usually their pretty girl cute girl place to hang out... ... I've used that fact to create a metaphorical picture where she has IBS or any other sort of condition that makes it preferable for there to be a bathroom nearby at all times.
Tumblr media
I know she's not taking a painful shit because I watched this scene, but nothing about this framing proves that she isn't.
And I genuinely think it fits her writing. Having a disability that requires regularly going to the bathroom would easily explain why she avoids going to school - not only is having to leave in the middle of class inconvenient, but it is also a difficult thing to admit to socially.
...And I know BanG Dream! is a family-friendly series with appropriately young fans, so let's get it out of the way. Haha! Poop! ...Regardless, I'd like to talk about this disability neutrally, for what it is, and speak positively about representation of it in fiction.
This is of course not mentioning the stress and fatigue that induces. So let's say Arisa has such a disability. Despite caring about being an A+ student (which she was even in her music school when she was a kid, and we know she was happy about her successes), she becomes anxious at the idea of going to school. Although her grandma isn't given much characterisation, one could infer that the knowledge that this is due to her diagnosed disability - her pain and discomfort - is why she allows her to skip school so often without questioning it. Generally, adults tend to care about that. She takes this habit from a young age and because of that, doesn't form friendships, and what little social life she has is made difficult by the anxiety she already experiences in the first place.
On top of all of this, a mix or her physical appearance and her distant behaviour has her come off as a distinguished young lady. (Not something I'm making up - Eve often mentions it, but other characters also point to her being very delicate, very well-spoken.) Keeping up that façade is made all the more stressful by knowing the social stigma that comes with having the kind of disability that affects your gastro-intestinal movements. Of course, that doesn't exist in a vacuum, and it also hides her sharp tongue. Still, why don't people know about her true personality, if not because she's extremely avoidant from the get-go? All of this explains her behaviour - avoiding social functions (from fear of being "found out"), being socially awkward (from lack of socialisation), and possibly even laying hard into the perception that she's elegant (...and that's why she's so distant, definitely no other reason...!).
And the reason I care enough to lay all of this down is that such a story is honestly very wholesome in the end. Despite her circumstances that made her avoid social life, the introverted Arisa is found by her future wife an extroverted friend who brings her out of her shell. She even ends up in a band! Despite her disability, Arisa is able to participate in social life and stand on stage, be cool, be pretty, be fun, do what she loves to do. This isn't a stress-free life... as we know, Arisa is often stressed out (see picture above). And she might even have to deal with pain and difficulties around and during concerts, but with people around her who want her to be there, the world can be made accessible, less scary and worth the effort.
I'm not against reading Arisa as another neurodivergent member of PoPiPa, especially since neurodivergent can mean many things, but something about her possessed me to think about the possibility that there's a different reason for her "being a little weird". Kasumi has to me a very clear case of ADHD, Tae is the "airhead" character which I also choose to read as a brand of ND and not just... an anime trope..., Rimi is very shy (also fits the food fixations and weird interests bill), Saaya is neurotypical as balls but her social life is impacted by external factors (her family; her mom's disability!) and I think it fits the bill that Arisa has her own reason to be isolated from the social norm. Hey, it even makes Saaya seem less like the weirdo/only neurotypical in the band! Since PoPiPa has this theme going on between the lines, I think it's interesting to look at the possibility that the factor that isolates one of them is a physical disability - because that is a genuine factor for loneliness.

Have you ever thought of making an actual game? Even a little one?? Your 'Atom Amulet' art and gif look soooo good they legit fooled me for a bit when I first looked at them into thinking they were from a real game! Your enjoyment and respect for glitches and games as a medium is really neat, and tbh I'm super curious what you'd make! As someone who actually played a few weird old PS1 and computer games as a kid, sooo many attempts at 'retro low-poly style' games I see always break my immersion when I can see like.. too much anti-aliasing, too many things rendered in real time instead of prerendered (not extremely subtle stuff like raytracing or font choice, which gave away Petscop to a few incredibly observant people lol), etc.. part of the charm of old 3D games is devs clearly trying extremely hard to work with limitations of disc space and RAM! No one's cutting corners! Also the design for Atom Amulet's character is the kind I've been wanting to see SO badly in modern-retro games.. no one ever goes for 'rounded little creature guy who looks a little wonky' designs like you see in Creatures or SHEEP because they think it's too ugly! But it looks COOL! And that's part of why it really seemed like an actual old game to me at first.. I like your blog and art, your passion for games and glitches is really inspiring! Nice job on the animation and 3D art!
AHHHHH THANK YOU SO MUCH ANON ;__; This made me really happy to read... Trust me, I have daydreamed extensively about the kind of games I'd like to make, so I've definitely got ideas for stuff like that. Animation and 3D art in general is my main focus right now though, since I've got a lot I want to create, and still a LOT to learn as well, LOL. I would probably be most interested in making a game with a small team or creative partner, since even small games can be incredibly taxing to create and I'd prefer not to mentally and/or physically implode. (My main problem is mostly finding those people... I'm not good at initiating this kind of thing.)
Anyway, I absolutely agree on being kinda disinterested in a lot of 'retro low-poly' aesthetics, just because they feel too divorced from the actual technology that gave the style a reason to exist in the first place. That's not to say at all I think this style should exist in a chronological vacuum, or that it shouldn't be iterated upon with modern technology, but that it just looks too clean too often, too streamlined! I don't want that! I want WONKINESS!!!
I don't think it's necessarily a fear of this sort of 'ugliness', or at least not always—it's more so that this wonkiness can be sometimes hard to achieve at all. Like. Hold on. I could write stupid poetical paragraphs about this concept, but I think this post sums it up 10,000 times better than I ever could.
Tumblr media
The primary function of a comic is to tell a story that is best shown through the format of sequential images. So you might expect that anything made for a primarily visual medium must look 'good' to be effective, right? But it doesn't; MS Paint's ugly palettes and pixelated pens only serve to amplify the expressiveness in this image. It looks silly and simplistic, and that's exactly why it works. Whether this was intended by the artist is irrelevant. It's effective not despite its strange, subtle stiltedness, but because of it.
It reminds me of this post about animation by PilotRedSun, which I think about a lot:
I’ve learned a bit of animation fundamentals, branched out to other styles . . . but I still adhere to the rule that every animation on my channel should have a dysfunctional aspect to it. When an animation contains an error, it distracts the viewer. Thus when an animation is composed of errors, it mesmerizes the viewer.
Video games are interesting to compare to comics and animation in this sense, because most games are made simply to be played. Despite being a visual medium, it isn't necessarily expected to look good; it just has to function as an interactive experience. This emphasis on functionality, created through technological limitations of the time, is exactly what originated low-poly and pixelated styles. Older video game art didn't need to be particularly beautiful, just purposeful. You take a concept, put it on the screen, and continue stripping away pixels and polygons until only its most minimal existence remains, because if you don't, you won't be able to fit it within your meager 64 MB cartridge capacity. It looks wonky, and may not really resemble the initial concept as you saw it anymore... but it works.
That's not to say huge, high-res canvases of pixel art and raytracing on low-poly renders can't be uniquely beautiful as well—I think the ways these styles are innovated with modern technology is just as intriguing. The fundamental aspects of these styles will always be worth exploring, because at their core, they're about conveying things in unconventional ways. Simplicity makes it stilted and strange, and 'ugliness' is what makes it so evocative.
But like I said, I don't think it's a matter of intentionally avoiding these more subtle sorts of strangeness. It's just that harnessing and embracing it to its full extent is very hard. Particularly because modern technology often just... lacks limits. You can do practically anything with it, and that's the problem. If you have a decent GPU and the capacity to follow basic instructions, you can make a simple yet frighteningly hyper-realistic 3D scene in mere minutes, the kind that older video game developers could have only dreamed of. And technologically, it's impressive, but that's it. There are no corners cut, no concepts compressed, and nothing your computer can't handle for you. As soon as the realistic refractions and flashy lights fade, you realize it's all a little empty beyond the subdivision surfaces.
It's easy to get lost in a world without limitations, because empty canvases are just as freeing as they are intimidating. Making beautiful things because you can is obviously fun, and often impressive, but it gets boring. Sometimes I simply want to see things breaking at their seams, stripped down to the point of struggling to exist at all, and working—and being not just beautiful because of it, but fundamentally fascinating.

Spider-Man Home Turf: My Pitch for Tom Holland's Next Spider-Man Movie
Tumblr media
With the success of the original trilogy and a promise of 9 films in total, another Tom Holland Spider-Man film is imminent.
Although the writers strike is still going on (PAY YOUR WRITERS DISNEY), currently the next Spider-Man film is in early development and slated for 2025. That will likely be pushed back, but the idea of Spider-Man 4 is incredibly intriguing.
This film is not only a continuation of Peter's story, but a restart for him as well. There's a lot of potential for new characters, new story, and a different version of Spidey than what came before.
I have a pitch, one that takes whats great about Watts original trilogy, and I think brings Peter to a place we've never seen him go in live action.
This is not a script, just more so a general idea for the movie. I do have ideas for characters and casting though!
*Spoilers for the MCU in general and all Spider-Man movies*
Let's start with what I love about Watts trilogy:
Something/Someone New Everytime
Tumblr media
Whether you love or hate these movies, one must admit every film felt different than what came before. Whether it was the John Hughes high school element, a road trip through Europe, or a multiversal magic finale, none of the films felt like Webbs or Raimis, but something fresh instead.
With the exception of No Way Home, the movies also focused on villains we had not seen before. Vulture, Mysterio, Shocker, The Thinker, all classic villains that never got their time in the light. I like that trend, and want to continue it.
The Mentor
Tumblr media
One of the fun things about these movies for me is Peter gets a mentor to match his internal problem at hand. The best part is the mentor is usually kind of bad at it, leading Peter to come to his own conclusions and move beyond them to become an even better hero.
The character needs to make sense in the context of the story, be flawed, and most importantly, connected to the MCU in a way we've seen before.
Love Story
Tumblr media
I like all the Peter/MJ & Peter/Liz stuff in all the movies. With MJ and Ned gone now, we're gonna want a new character for Peter to fall for. Again, I'd prefer someone we have never seen before, who can become a fan favorite in their own right.
With all that out of the way, here is the idea:
Tumblr media
Peter Parker, now struggling to find any joy in his normal life, spends most of his time fighting crime as your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. He will be in the suit for most of the movie, completely neglecting his normal life, as he feels there is nothing for him there.
Because there are not as many big world ending threats or villains to fight, in order to fill up his life, he has begun taking out portions of the mysterious Kingpins operations, to the dismay of Wilson Fisk.
Tumblr media
Kingpin will be one of our main villains of the movie. In this film, Fisk will have secondary goons The Tinkerer, who you may remember from Spider-Man Homecoming, creating gear for his men:
Tumblr media
And an enforcer, a menace hoping to one day take on even more power than he already has, Hammerhead.
Tumblr media
Hammerhead is a brawler, who can be conniving and slimey. I want someone likable but borderline annoying. Someone who can trade blows and quips and really have some fun against Spider-Man.
Personally, I think who better than Saul Goodman himself Bob Odenkirk, but I'll leaving casting up to someone else.
Tumblr media
After a huge fight with Hammerhead and Fisk goons, Spider-Man will be approached by a vigilante he has never seen before.
Tumblr media
Enter the mentor. What character better to warn Peter of the dangers of balancing the vigilante life than Matt Murdock?
Unlike mentors before, Daredevil will actually be an extremely positive force for Peter. He will show him the value of balance and the danger of going too into the darkness of being a vigilante.
Daredevil will warn Spider-Man that messing with organized crime without understanding it leads to a power vacuum and desperation, which leads to more danger for civilians. Peter will not listen, which will lead to our actual big bad of the film:
Tumblr media
Mr Negative.
Martin Li will be a young newer type of crime boss. With his inexperience will come chaos, and with his power will come war.
I do not have a casting for him, as I feel this character should be a new Chinese actor. Someone relatively young and menacing.
He is joined by his gang the Inner Demons, who will be former members of the Hand who needed a leader when the five fingers fell, and his right hand man and enforcer, The Scorpion.
Tumblr media
Some may forget, this character was introduced in Spider-Man Homecoming played by Michael Mando, which I love immensely. I want him geared up, in the suit, using that seem fierce energy he had in his post credit scene.
Tumblr media
Seeking to gain financially from the commotion of this gang war will be cat burglar Felicia Hardy.
Tumblr media
If Matt is the angel on Peter's shoulder, Felicia will be the Devil on Spideys.
Felicia will also be escaping her past through her persona of The Black Cat, and will serve as temptation for Spider-Man to leave Peter Parker behind.
While she is trying to convince him to move on and just be Spider-Man, Black Cat does have Peter's best interest at heart. I want a flawed but good person here, who will round out team Spidey.
I'd like an actress who maybe feels a tad older than Peter.
Tumblr media
My mind jumps to Anya Taylor Joy, but I'm open to suggestions.
Throughout the film, Peter will learn about balance from both Black Cat and Daredevil, how the criminal organizations came to power, and how to properly take them down to save New York.
And with all that comes the pitch:
Tumblr media
While trying to clean up the streets Peter Parker accidentally opens the door to a gang war between super powered Mr. Negative and the dangerous Kingpin, leaving the streets of New York desperate for a hero. With the help of new allies Daredevil and the Black Cat, Spider-Man must learn what it takes to save his city.
Spider-Man Home Turf would put Peter at the center of gang war, (something we've never seen), fighting alongside Daredevil (a new mentor), and with a love interest not for Peter but for Spider-Man (a new and different love story).
It would also keep Peter in New York, something the Watts movies did not do enough of, and at the center of the best parts of the Netflix Marvel universe.
It's big enough to feel like Spider-Man, and small enough to be the start of something new.
I think Spider-Man can benefit from a smaller start. Seeing Spidey fighting on the streets of New York is all a fan really wants.
But as long as it's not the clone saga, I will be happy.

Lunaliel Nemo - Databank: Extended Charactersheet
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
#charactersheet REF.:
🌙Main OC: Lunaliel Nemo ✨INSTAGRAM: www.instagram.com/r0tt3n_rabbi…
I'm finally satisfied! I've created a detailed character sheet for my cheeky Space-Punk, Nemo, with more information, fresh outfits, and, of course, introducing the glorious Omnis – Nemo's personal spaceship, the fastest in the Universe! 🚀
🔧As Nemo solely specialises in Mecha and Cybertech, I wanted her main outfit to be practical. Despite her love for style and ability to work in high heels as well, she usually sports a simple ensemble: a top, short pants, and her trusty tools. Working with heavy machinery, guns, weaponry systems, and droids, she prefers comfortable attire that doesn't get ruined by dust and oil. Her tool belt is always at her hip, ensuring everything she needs is within easy reach.
☠ Being a Gunslinger, Nemo's 'Gunnies' are never far, and as a Cybertech, she has a constant stream of maintenance tasks. Currently, there are over 900 Drones in outer space, collecting materials from nearby star systems, and working on Nemo's secret mega-project: a Dyson Sphere that will provide endless energy for the entire solar system! About 100 of her bots, droids, and drones are at her direct disposal in the Blue World, with some stationed at specific locations for data collection.
🤍When Nemo rests, B.E.N takes command, making him her trusty, dramatic and funny sidekick.
💥As a Convector, Nemo can survive the vacuum of space, absorb energy from the sun, and doesn't require oxygen. However, being spaceborne has its challenges, particularly dealing with increased gravity. The moon's gravity used to be her muscle limit, and the Blue World presents ongoing challenges, including increased gravity and challenging weather conditions.

While I don’t agree with all your views and interpretations of the characters I really do appreciate that you try to be fair in your analysis. There’s been some posts going around the marauders side fandom (the part of the marauders fandom that I usually considered to be safe from this rhetoric) that have been verging on abuse apologism lately and it has been pretty disturbing to see. At the end of the day these are just characters and they aren’t real but the way we chose to talk about them and their situations are. When we start trying to excuse abusive behaviors just to make our fictional faves look better it has a real effect on the people reading it who might have experienced something similar in real life. (Sometimes I really wish people would step back and examine their language when talking about these situations, especially if we are talking about any form of SA). I really don’t understand why people feel the need to try to underplay the actions of the marauders and snape, they are shitty, let them be shitty, why are we making excuses for our fake little people? Anyways thanks for being reasonable I guess, sorry for the rant lol
omg I love this message so much! I could cry. Totally, nobody is required to agree with my views on the characters, that's not what I'm about and you're 100% right.
It's why even though I don't believe that characters need to be 'defended' I still think it's worth talking about how fandom treats Lily, because our views and preferences aren't created in a vacuum. But I want to say, even though I've perhaps been harsh about it in the past, that nobody's truly in the wrong for ignoring Lily as a character. It's not and has never been about what people choose to focus on in the privacy of their own blog, it's not about the actions of individual people at all and I'd never be so presumptuous as to demand strangers be interested in something they're not interested in. Rather, I think it's worthwhile to get people thinking and reflecting and discussing things as a collective, because that way we learn and evolve together and maybe we actually gain something from it!
You said this so perfectly. We can just let the fake people be shitty without trying to excuse things that frankly never needed to be excused, just talked about honestly and respectfully. And with kindness-- being defensive or aggressive gets us nowhere. The fact that these fictional guys are shitty gives us so much to talk about and that's the most powerful thing about fiction to me, is how it helps us interpret the world around us with more empathy and perspective. Another thing that helps is interacting with people who have differing opinions from a position of understanding and openness so this message really means so much to me!!
anyway im in love wit u anon, thank you for being reasonable too!

Office cleaning Service
Certainly, I'd be happy to help with information about office cleaning services.
What is an Office Cleaning Service? An office cleaning service is a professional service that provides cleaning and maintenance solutions for commercial spaces, primarily offices. These services help maintain a clean, healthy, and organized work environment by offering regular cleaning, sanitizing, and tidying services.
Services Offered by Office Cleaning Companies:
Regular Cleaning: Daily, weekly, or monthly cleaning routines that include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
Restroom Cleaning: Thorough cleaning and disinfection of restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and dispensers.
Floor Care: Cleaning and maintenance of different types of flooring, such as carpet cleaning, hardwood floor polishing, and tile cleaning.
Window Cleaning: Cleaning of interior and sometimes exterior windows to ensure a clear view and maintain a professional appearance.
Trash Removal: Emptying waste bins and disposing of trash properly.
Kitchen/Area Cleaning: Cleaning and sanitizing kitchenettes or break rooms, including appliances, countertops, and eating areas.
Dusting and Polishing: Dusting and polishing of furniture, electronics, and other surfaces to keep the office looking neat.
Specialized Cleaning: Deep cleaning services for specific areas like conference rooms, lobby areas, and high-traffic zones.
Disinfection Services: Especially relevant in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, many office cleaning services offer enhanced disinfection and sanitization procedures.
Green Cleaning: Some companies offer environmentally friendly cleaning products and practices to align with sustainable initiatives.
Benefits of Hiring an Office Cleaning Service:
Productivity: A clean and organized workspace can boost employee productivity and morale.
Health and Hygiene: Regular cleaning and disinfection reduce the spread of germs, leading to a healthier work environment.
Professional Appearance: A clean office creates a positive impression on clients, partners, and visitors.
Time and Cost Savings: Outsourcing cleaning tasks allows employees to focus on their core responsibilities, and it's often more cost-effective than hiring in-house cleaners.
Expertise: Professional cleaners have the expertise and tools to tackle even the toughest cleaning challenges.
Choosing an Office Cleaning Service:
Reputation: Look for a service with a good reputation and positive reviews from other businesses.
Services Offered: Ensure they offer the specific services your office needs.
Customization: A good service can tailor their offerings to your office's unique requirements.
Insurance: Make sure the company has appropriate insurance coverage to protect against any accidents or damages.
Experience: Experience in commercial cleaning is important for efficiency and quality.
References: Ask for references or check client testimonials to gauge the quality of their services.
Cost: Obtain quotes from multiple services and consider the value they provide for the cost.
Contracts: Understand the terms of the contract, including cancellation policies and any additional fees.
Before hiring any service, it's a good idea to consult with several companies to find the one that best meets your office's needs and preferences.

Speaking with Alan in the studio about troubleshooting how to construct a sculpture in clay and what the alternatives could be, we were playing with the tin-foil and the rock and creating these "shells" as a way of exploring how to record the texture and form. Not a lot of detail is captured, but the more layers then the less detail can be perceived. What I thought would be a solution would be to create a form and then use my clay impressions to impart texture on to the form's surface, but Alan pointed out that it would be a similar problem because it would be, not first, not second, but third-hand texture - and thus much of that crucial detail will be lost.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So the problem is: how to capture and maintain most of that original surface texture.
Plan A: As having as reflective and mirrored a surface as possible is of utmost importance, I would like to aspire to a fired and glazed ceramic sculpture. That's my ideal solution to this problem with my most preferred outcome, aesthetically. So to achieve this, I must build a form with the correct shape and enough strength to support clay slabs being joined and moulded on to it. With my time left, this will probably be a vacuum bag jam-packed with anything I can get my hands on - to be environmentally conscious I'd like to source some packaging from deliveries at my work or at home to give them further use. This also relates to my summer project that kickstarted this module wherein I collected and utilised all the paper, plastic and metal waste that we had generated at home. I can then sort of force this form into my desired shape, and then I can slab and join on top of this.
First the slabs will be pressed against the site rock to record that surface texture firsthand, and then joined together on this vacuum bag form. I can then utilise my clay impressions (pictured) to impart any detail and texture lost during the assembly process. Then it can be fired, and glazed with a palladium-based glaze to create a high-shine chromed surface.
Plan B: As ceramics can be risky, Alan helped me form a contingency plan using the site rock as a muse to replicate. First, I will coat the rock in 10-12 layers of liquid latex to capture all of that beautiful detail leaving me with a latex mould. I can then give that mould a plaster jacket, which will give it the integrity needed to experiment with different casting materials. If I work with concrete, then I can play with grittiness and texture to figure out what works best. I like the idea of working with cement and sand instead of plaster as it is more of an earthy composite, like clay or like the site rock. That seems conceptually quite strong, and the latex mould provides the potential to create identical multiples which also feeds into the idea of manufacturing a natural object.
As for the mirrored surface, nothing competes with the high-fired metallic glaze however I can use sheets of imitation silver leaf and gilding paste and a burnishing technique to create a high shine surface which could also be very effective. I also enjoy the idea of that part of the process being done by hand with great purpose.

The New Beginning in Osaka preview
Tumblr media
Kazuchika Okada vs. Shingo Takagi - After Okada won the IWGP world title on January 4, Takagi stepped up to be the first challenger. Shingo is the KOPW provisional champion so there was talk of putting that belt on the line or giving this match a wacky KOPW stipulation, but Okada decided he wasn't interested. Whoever wins this match is scheduled to defend the world title on February 18.
This will be the fifth time these two have met one-on-one. Okada won their first encounter in October 2020, but Shingo avenged that loss in March 2021. Takagi won the vacant world title in June 2021 by defeating Okada, but then dropped the belt to Okada in January 2022. So the series is tied at 2-2 overall, and 1-1 in title bouts.
The match should be good to great, but there's a pretty decent chance it will be overshadowed by the elephant in the room. On January 17, Okada did a big interpromotional angle with NOAH's top champion, Kaito Kiyomiya, where they beat the fu-u-uck out of each other. NOAH later announced an Okada-Kiyomiya grudge match for February 21, but Okada said he would refuse to participate. So clearly something needs to happen to change his mind, and I'm not saying it has to be on this show, but it would make a lot of sense. If Kiyomiya even breathes on Okada after this match, that's the top story of the night.
I dig Shingo, so I'd be fine with a title change here. But it's hard to imagine New Japan cutting an Okada title reign so short, unless they absolutely need to. If he's going to lose to Kiyomiya, they might want to take the world title off of him first, but that's very speculative. My personal preference would be for the Okada-Kiyomiya match to be champion versus champion, so I'm picking Okada to retain here.
Tama Tonga vs. El Phantasmo - This is Tonga's first defense of the NEVER title since regaining it on January 4. Phantasmo clocked Tama with the belt on January 5, which set up this feud. Seems weird for New Japan to have a guy earn a title shot by getting disqualified, but whatever.
Ordinarily I wouldn't be very interested in this match, and I'd just assume Tonga was a heavy favorite to retain against ELP. However, WWE is reportedly very interested in signing Tama, which has raised a lot of speculation about his future, which puts a lot of attention on if/when he'll drop the title. Moreover, this match is set to follow the "loser leaves Japan" match, which could potentially send Jay White into exile and thereby create a power vacuum in Bullet Club. That might make it a good idea to give ELP a big championship push. Basically this is one of those matches where everybody will be trying to read the tea leaves for future plans.
That being said, my gut feeling is that when New Japan could do something big, they usually won't. So the safe bet is that Phantasmo is just a midcard guy being fed to Tama for a longer title run.
Jay White vs. Hikuleo - White blames Hikuleo for his world title loss on January 4, so he challenged the big man to a "loser leaves Japan" match. Note that this doesn't mean the loser can't continue to wrestle for New Japan; they're just supposed to be barred from wrestling in the nation of Japan. In fact, we already know White is booked for the NJPW show on February 18 in San Jose, regardless of the outcome of this match.
It was reported recently that WWE has interest in both men in this match, so there's a lot of hype about the possibility that this match will write one of them out of New Japan to send them on their way. To be clear, we don't know that the loser will quit New Japan--he could stay on with the STRONG brand in the US, or the TAMASHII shows in Oceania. There's also no assurance that the winner won't quit New Japan. So this match might indicate the future plans for both men, or it might not.
The English announcers are playing up the idea that White will be the crowd favorite, because no matter how much the fans despise him, they don't want a star of his caliber to leave. We'll see about that. Personally, I'm rooting for him to go to WWE, because he's just what they want in a heel, and I don't watch WWE so I'd finally be rid of him. But even if he does ultimately go away, I get the feeling it won't be this simple. Something tells me Jay will win here.
EVIL & SHO & Yujiro Takahashi vs. Minoru Suzuki & Ren Narita & El Desperado - Evil's team (representing the House of Torture) is defending the NEVER trios title, over their protests. This issue started when the House of Torture beat up Narita on January 5. Improbably, Suzuki ran out to make the save. Then Desperado ran out to help Suzuki, despite the fact that their stable, Suzuki-gun, amicably disbanded in December. Suzuki quickly issued a challenge for the NEVER trios title, but Evil's team insisted they retired the championship. New Japan only forced the issue after Narita pinned Yujiro in an eight-man tag match on February 5.
I don't think Narita's team has to win the titles, but if they fail I don't know what would stop Evil's team from pulling this whole "we retired the title" stunt all over again. All the intrigue is on Suzuki's overtures to mentor Narita, and whether Narita will come to trust that old asshole. Giving them the trios belts would kind of force them to stick together long enough to see where that goes, so I'm expecting a title change.
Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. KENTA - I honestly can't remember why these two are having this match. I assume it got set up in the tag match on January 5, but I don't remember the specifics. These two are 4-3 in singles matches, and I can't say I was champing at the bit for match eight in the series.
Kenta is scheduled to challenge Fred Rosser for the STRONG title on February 18. It would be better for the image of that title if he went into that match coming off a big win. I mean, it's "just" the STRONG title, so it doesn't actually matter, but if you want your audience to believe the title is important you'd do better to cover details like this. I can't think of a good reason for Kenta to lose here unless they're really protecting Tana for something, and I have no idea what that could be.
Taiji Ishimori vs. Master Wato - Again, I don't remember what happened on January 5 to set this up. Ishimori lost the IWGP junior title on 1/4 when Hiromu Takahashi pinned Wato, so that's probably reason enough for Ishimori to hold a grudge. In the seven years I've watched NJPW, Wato is the only Young Lion I can think of who graduated, returned from excursion, and then got booked like a total chump. I don't get it and I keep thinking they're saving his push for later, but it never quite arrives. I'm picking Ishimori to win.
Tetsuya Naito & Hiromu Takahashi & SANADA & BUSHI vs. Shota Umino & Ryusuke Taguchi & Tiger Mask & Tomoaki Honma - Naito and Umino had a big showdown on February 4, so they've been slotted against each other throughout the tour. Unfortunately for Umino, his team is a lot less impressive on paper than Naito's squad, so he's probably going to lose again here.
Great-O-Khan & Aaron Henare vs. Toru Yano & Oskar Leube - At the start of this tour, O-Khan challenged Takagi for the KOPW title and the right to face Okada in this show's main event. He lost, though, so that kind of left him as an afterthought on the rest of the tour. Yano is a match for O-Khan or Henare, but Leube is the new kid in town and the clear weak link in this match, so O-Khan and Henare should easily win.

*working process* I decided to make a fully revamped version of my original ideas for TS3, especially since so many new programs and whatnot are coming out to enhance the game itself. Amazing creators, programmers, and those who write tutorials help make this possible, and for TS3 to keep going. They are to be thanked profusely! I'm definitely not a programmer, but learning from the tutorials, I'm learning to make tattoos, makeup, and hopefully convert some poses from TS4. ...that is, if all goes well on my end. Trial and error, people---trial and error. I've tried researching a lot of these between different Sims wikis and stuff--but I know not everything is super detailed. :/ Alright, let's get into it. These are personally things I would like to see in my game, mind you. We'll start with the most obvious one. * * * X - TS3 Conversions (( EA preferably; TS1/TS2/TS4/TSM/TSM:P&N/Stories/Castaway/Freeplay/etc. )): ~ Build/buy/CAW (( in-depth TS4 document here -- still working on the others )) ~ CAS (( in-depth TS4 document here -- still working on the others )) ~ Animations ~ Mods/game enhancements/activities/skills/hobbies/new interactions: ~ A mod that changes a "family relation" to another (( ie; cousin, grandparent, uncle, etc. )) in-game. I'm not sure what you call this, but nothing exists for it. I have a pair of (( created )) Sims who are siblings in the game, but they are meant to be cousins. I don't really want to go about and go the freaking long way around for make a pair of sisters who get have kids who are cousins and then kill off said mothers, just to make them cousins, you know? I'd have to do that to ALL my character Sims. >__> I'd like to to go and click NRAAS, select "change family relation", and click on cousin, or whatever other option I want to choose for that particular Sim. Does that make sense? ~ Plopsy App (( to sell items on )) ~ Simstagram (( on phone )) ~ Dating app (( on phone )) ~ Pay bills by phone ~ More activities on computers (( based on TS2/TS4, but other fun stuff as well! )) ~ Pen-pals (( like in TS4 )) with postcards from other worlds ~ TS2 & TS4 TV channels added to the TV (( all videos files under new TV station names )), plus Movies On Demand (( would be amazing for movie night, PLUS a drive-in theatre/movie theatre! )) ~ Better yoga (( with TS4 animations, and maybe some of the TS2 yoga animations--I always loved with they went up on one finger when they peaked the skill )) with children and teens added ~ More outdoor activities, such as: skiing, hiking, jogging, log rolling, ax-throwing, rock-climbing, snowboarding ~ Crank/prank calling for YA/A and older--maybe with certain traits? I feel like childish or inappropriate Sims would do that. Also, maybe with the TS1/TS2 cards, because those were pretty fun. ~ To go with the above; pranks for YA and older Sims, perhaps also based on certain traits (( also basing both cranks/pranks on TS1/TS2/TS4 )). Exactly WHY did older Sims not get a chance to pull pranks? I don't get that. ~ Usable/workable holiday cracker, Lin-Z, space heater, punching bag, roombas, hammock, ear buds ~ Writing in a journal (( based on Sims 2 & Sims 4 )) ~ Programming ~ New skills/activities/craftable/whatever this would be categorized (( based on TS2/TS4/TSM )): cross-stitching, candle making, fabricator, juice fizzing, herbalism, woodworking, invention constructor, flower arranging, blacksmithing, mining, brewing (( I have pirates that would LOVE this )), vacuuming, sword-fighting/dueling ~ A more moveable broom, based on TS4 brooms (( I saw this in a group I'm on on FB--they thought maybe the jetpack would help if said broom was modded )) ~ Hospital/personal Sim: breastfeeding, teens can get acne/zits like in TS2 & use cream for it, more diseases/illnesses (( based on TS2/TS4/TSM )), menstrual for female teen-adult Sims (( I thought there WAS one, but perhaps more improved? )), revamped hospital mod ~ More added places to Woohoo + Teens can "mess around" (( because I like that it sounds better; based on TS2/TS4, locations/objects
included )) ~ Beach/pool stuff: more pool interactions (( like playing Marco Polo! Based on TS2/TS4 )), EVERYONE can build a sandcastle (( whyyyyyyy do kids only get to build stuff? XP )), more sand-related gameplay (( based on TS2/TS4; come on, don't you think my pirates would like to search for buried treasure? XD )) ~ Lutes/Playing Lute (( with TSM music )) ~ Closets ~ TSM denominations (( Peteran & Jacoban )) ~ Turn-ons/Turn-Offs (( based between TS2 and TS4; I miss this )) ~ Hobbies and interests ~ Sims 2 Style Jealousy (( there was a mod made, but it's lost/link gone )) ~ Spa features: facial masks, manicures/pedicures (( something similar to using a tattoo station? )) ~ Pets have jobs (( based on TS2 )) ~ TS4 Style Canning mod ~ A recipe book like how TS4 modders do their custom food (( is that possible? )) ~ New interactions/pie menu options: new dances, a better improved added romance of this mod, more conversation/romance/social/pregnancy options based on TS1/TS2/TS4/TSM and also this mod (( which would go lovely with medieval gameplay--and also my pirates, although they are more modern, lol )), more baby-teen only menu options, more supernatural only menu options ~ Sims wear/change into a towel after showering ~ TS4 collectibles as TS3 collectibles/new found treasures ~ Kids have crushes + one-sided crushes on teen+ Sims ~ Lightsabres ~ Setting a table ~ Toasting Food/Food related: ~ My in-depth document here (( basically EA food/drinks to TS3 as decor or edible for fridge, recipes, cooking/baking, vending machines, food stalls, more plants/vegetation, new herbs, and so forth, similar to this mod )) Careers (( based on Sims 2 and Sims 4 only )) : ~ Archaeology (( I was unsure where to put this one exactly, so career it is! For now. )) ~ Veterinarian ~ Critic/Food Critic ~ Astronaut ~ Law ~ Social Media ~ Jobs for teens only: babysitter, fast food employee, barista ~ Adventurer ~ Oceanography ~ Engineer ~ Entertainer/Comedian ~ Secret Agent NPCs: ~ Bigfoot ~ Santa Claus/Father Winter ~ Sea Monster ~ Social Bunny ~ Mascots: Yamachan, Flower Bunny, the cow from TS2: University, Darby the Dragon, Lobster Larry ~ Caterer ~ Food delivery service ~ Grocery delivery service Animals/pets/creatures (( note: can be functional like the sheep, or just statues, but would prefer the llamas to at least be functional )) : ~ Llamas (( with/without clothing )) ~ Cows (( with/without clothing )) ~ Chickens (( with/without clothing )) ~ Foxes (( with/without clothing )) ~ Bunnies (( with/without clothing )) ~ Growable Cowplant with life states ~ Skunks ~ Penguin ~ Bubalus, Hamster ~ Dust Bunnies Playable Games: ~ Majong ~ Don't Wake The Llama ~ Voidcritter Battle Station ~ Checkers ~ MYSHUNO ~ Kicky Bag ~ Sabacc Vacation Worlds (( small-medium sized/travel-based; they do not have to be huge at all, obviously, as they are meant for vacationing )): ~ Strangerville ~ Sulani ~ Batuu (( not even going to be sorry for this one )) ~ Sixam ~ The Magic Realm ~ Mt.Komorebi ~ Selvadorada ~ Granite Falls ~ Henford-on-Bagley ~ Takemizu Village ~ Twikkii Island ~ Three Lakes (( a better version; the one I've downloaded won't let you add anything to it. *sigh* Otherwise, it's a pretty good world! )) ~ TSM (( or a likeness of )) based world; I'm not sure what it's actually called in the game Lots: ~ Magic Town ~ The Lava Pools ~ Vet Clinic ~ Ancient Ruins ~ Forgotten Grotto ~ Sylvan Glade ~ Plumbob Pictures (( I could see this being all the different sets in one as well )) ~ Jacoban Church and Peteran Monastery (( although, if a TSM world were built, then scratch these )) Other: ~ Bulge slider ~ Topical details overhaul: utilizing the section for more stickable details; eye lights, scars, zits/acne, birthmarks, lip moles, lip corners, freckles, cleavage, etc. (( I'm going to ATTEMPT to do this. )) ~ More tattoo options: more body-wise tattoos; birthmarks, alien markings, cleavage, etc. (( I'm trying to attempt this as well. Might be easier than the topical details--or utilize some of the topical details FOR facial
tattoos as
well. We'll see! Baby
steps, lol. )) ~ New moodlets based on TS4 (( based on the aforementioned new interactions, activities, hobbies, etc. )) ~ New traits: Whale Ate My Parents, Drunkard, Call of the Sea, Dread Pirate, Licentious, Chivalrous, Foodie, Gloomy, Lactose intolerant, Materialistic, Squeamish, Twisted Heart, Understand Baby, Picky Eater ~ TS2/TS4/TSM converted special effects/sounds, as another type of fog emitter? ~ Does anyone make lighting mods anymore? Those were fun! ~ Enayla's skintone converted to TS3 (( her skintones were the BEST in TS2; so fanciful! Someone did manage to convert one, but now it's lost to cyberspace. *sigh* )) ~ MM or semi-realistic male underwear. Why do male Sims have, like, no fun undies? They also lack in sleepwear and swimwear, too. Sorry, but I prefer my males to not look like as if they rolled out of bed. ~ New/other hair appearances; Bride of Frankenstein (( one/two streak[s] on the side of hair )), twisted colours, bangs only option * * * Again, these are things I'd like personally for my game, and I will probably add to this in the future. I do seemingly cater to my pirates quite a bit, too. xD Having said this, I do know of people working or experimenting on some stuff mentioned above, or I have requested certain items to be converted--which I deeply appreciate!--and this list isn't meant to take away from their ideas or anything. Sometimes great minds DO think alike, but some are better at getting it done than others. XD For the majority of my list however, IS based off the Sims franchises.

❛A DEVIL'S FINEST TRICK IS TO PERSUADE YOU THAT HE DOES NOT EXIST.❜
Tumblr media
Dámianus took in a breath when he heard the familiar, annoying footsteps stomping forward. With haste, came the familiar, annoying voice. "Can you believe it?!"
Breathing in, it took his full strength to keep a leveled tone, not show his annoyance. "Believe what?"
His brother scowled, as if he was the idiot present. "They failed!"
"Pity." Was all Dámianus could think to say. He had to hide his smile upon hearing the news. He had an act to keep. "They must have not followed the plan, I did give them detailed instructions after all."
"How are you so apathetic?!" Makjo scoffed, eyes rolling. "That's our father—"
"Your father." Dámianus corrected. "You are his son, I am his errand boy."
"Oh wow, its a misery you proved yourself capable and he saw your potential!" Makjo mockingly threw back, going as far to make a fake, crying gesture to accompany his words.
Dámianus, however, quick to smile, tilted his head to the side. "Oh, does that mean he saw no potential in you?"
It was worth it, to watch the brat's features scrunch and his face to go red. A finger raised, and going to bite back. "You—"
Already walking off, Dámianus tucked the parchment beneath his arm. "I suppose I will go meet with our allies and see what went wrong." Casually he spoke, striding forward, leaning down, pecking his brother's cheek, and using the opportunity to quietly whisper, "Don't grow too comfortable. Many people will come for your crown." Before Makjo could reply, he had already taken his leave, to find better company he could tolerate.
At least the brat was an idiot. He had yet to see through everything. He had slipped up with their father, the bastard caught on at the last second. He barely corrected that.. But he had no doubt with Makjo, the brat would never see anything coming... still. He needed to be more careful if all were to be successful.

Early on, he accepted his role in the family and gracefully handled the responsibilities thrusted onto him. The older— maturer— he became, the more he would distant himself form his family and those family ties. He treated his family like colleagues and allies and not a family.
Only by the influence of Jitka and Isfétte would Dámianus finally accept his gifts and natural talent as a mastermind, and one manipulative son of a bitch. With their assistance and guidance, he would hone his talent to have power over them. When he finally held a strong belief in himself, he set himself to the task of consuming power. Slowly, he turned the allies of his family against them, buying their loyalty to serve him.
With the dependence the family held on him to make their plans and ensure their survival, he was able to trick them. He fooled them into going to war with Khaalida, and trapped them under her watch. The power vacuum was his for the taking... But he decided to play the long game. He allowed his siblings to fight for the power, and he accompanied his cousin— G'javinizia — on his travels across the multi-verse for a time. To further his own knowledge and powers.
When he finally became confident in himself once more, he returned. He got his old allies in line and began to form new ones. And soon, he finally began to get involved in the affair of Viogia to plant his influence. When his influence was sewn deep, Dámianus created his human guise and entered, to act first hand and began inacting the plans he had started so long ago.

♧ Some fun facts!
• He has a pet cat named Grumpy, it's based off a displacer beast!
• He takes a shot of whiskey every time one of his idiots does something stupid.
• He's a man that just wants a vacation at this point, somewhere nice and quiet, a distant beach, without responsibilities.
• He says he doesn't like children, but if given the opportunity he'd probably adopt an entire orphanage or seventy.
• The only people he will possibly listen to, to get him to back down from doing something, is Jitka and Isfétte.
• He knows how to hold a grudge. It doesn't matter how many years it takes, he'll get payback... In an extreme fashion that is probably unwarranted in that degree.
• Given the chance, he would kill 96% of his siblings and family...
• Although he's the source of major chaos in the universe, he cares deeply for order and rules.
• In public he will dress in tailcoats, but as long as he's home he prefers to wear a variety of kimonos.
• The only way you can upset him is by: mentioning Rons'ta in his presence, favoring his siblings in his presence, dissing his nanny, being disrespectful towards women when he's around, hurting and/or belittling children and animals in his presence. And then, and only then, he'll kill you without remorse!

Hi professor! As a research student with a porygon partner, I was curious about your lab's rotom and how it deals with outside software. I know it isn't like porygon, where you download a program directly to it, but do rotom inhabiting computers ever show a predeliction for certain programs over others? I know lots of porygon have preferences for specific kinds of software and I'd like to know if rotom are similar.
Hmm, well, I think the biggest difference is that Rotom tend to be a bit mischievous. I’ve met a few that take their pranks too far, such as downloading malware, but most are more likely to pop out of their electronics and scare you, or vacuum up one of your socks on purpose!
The Rotom I have that helps run my Lab is mischievous too, of course, but knows how important our work is, so they, luckily, tend to keep any pranks for when we have excess time on our hands. For example, last week they played the same song on loop from different devices for hours! I was following that sound around for near an hour before I figured it out!
The upside, however, is that Rotom don’t really have much of a preference. I personally think this is because they work almost like an ‘upgrade’ to whatever electronic they’re currently possessing. Basically, they can bring certain programs over from one device to another, provided each device has the ability to use it! For example, the washing machine could potentially play music because it has a speaker, but couldn’t make a call to my phone.
We don’t often have to use outside software, and when we do, its generally created by a close friend of mine that gave me the Rotom to start with, so it’s a pretty smooth transition to new things, since they only really have to use one programmer’s style of work! When I do end up needing something else, however, like a new poketch or the like, I do try to talk to Rotom beforehand, and know what new criteria to look out for.
I don’t know if this expands onto all Rotom, but it does seem that mine tends to prefer fast technology to simple technology. They’d rather sort through piles of data and fix it up themselves with everything running quickly than have to sort through nothing and have things run slower.
The other nice thing is that once a Rotom learns a program, much like a Porygon, they tend to know it forever, unless something gets corrupted or they become ill and delete files. The difference here is that while Porygon you can directly download to, as you mentioned, Rotom need to possess something that already has that program and use it for a while to learn it! It’s not an issue for me since I rarely change my technology if I can avoid it, and use much the same programs, but I do know its why you can’t just send the Rotom in your phone to receive an upgrade; you have to directly put it into the device itself.

Time to reboot, hit the reset button of life. March 7th, 2022. 7.51pm.
I've now lost count of the times I've expressed just how tired I am and how generally unwell I feel in almost every blog piece in the Death's Door Diaries series so far, and I reflect back on the days of living off-grid in Cornwall when in a lot of ways life was so much simpler and all I had to think about was collecting water, wood for my fire, and food, of course.
I romance about returning to this simpler life, to just leave everything behind again and start afresh as my former nomadic self did in being brave and turning my back on the growing insanity of the world around me and it's people. Then reality bites, I look around me at the modest, but comfortable home I've made for myself here, where I can turn lights on and off at the flick of a switch, I have constant heat and hot water without having to think of lighting an open fire. I have a comfortable bed, as opposed to a sleeping bag over a carpet on a pallet to keep the damp from the ground below rising to my body and creating unwellness of one form or another.
I have a computer on a desk, and I sit on a comfortable chair that's next to a window where I can look out at the weather from within and not have to think about such things as the rain leaking in somehow, which it frequently does when living out and about under a makeshift shelter. I have it all in respect of what I want to sustain myself, so then why do I feel this void of nothingness within, an emptiness that's longing for change and not knowing where to begin with it?
Part of it is because I'm tired of life itself. I've done everything I set out to achieve and more over the years, and I've enjoyed a bloody good life, to be honest. I've pretty much retired from my former activities in the adult entertainment industry and keep my profiles going for the sake of it more than anything because I worked hard to establish the brand over a few decades and feel a little loathed to let it go completely now. It was all kind of crazily busy until the pandemic struck, and this changed everything for a lot of people, including myself, and I haven't been proactive since.
It was the pandemic that took me to writing in order to occupy my time, and in doing so I found I had more to say than I would ever have imagined. I even managed to write a book in this time that's now out there on Amazon/Kindle. However, for me it's a solitary, isolated occupation, if you can call it this, and I recognise the vacuum it leaves in my personal life for others to engage with me and vice versa. I think about maybe sharing time with a partner that I know would be nourishing and fulfilling for me, and then I reflect back on why I turned my life on society and headed for the wilderness all those years back, because it was to get away from people. Yet I'm here, a relative recluse by all accounts, and in a strange kind of way I'm away from people though not quite far enough it would seem. Maybe this is my happy medium. A halfway house somewhere in between - and it still isn't enough to fulfil me!
I really believed I'd be left somewhat alone until this legal matter hit me on the head like a sledgehammer out of nowhere and I don't feel at peace as I normally would. I want to be left alone to write and continue being my creative self while having to come to terms with the fact that there is no peace in the world, because there will always be something or someone to interrupt it, and it's at times like this I miss the comfort of a partner to have reassuring, supportive conversations with. It would probably be something of an offload to vent my angst here, except I'm not ready to make it public, and being reclusive it's in my nature to keep my private life private. By all means you may have my thoughts and feelings on a whole range of topics, there are simply aspects of my very private life I prefer to keep to myself. For now at least. Although typing thus far is in itself feels quite cathartic and therapeutic, and with it at some sense of release.
Over the past few weeks I've put a considerable amount of thought into writing another book, and letting go of up to recent aspects of my life has very slowly opened the door to doing this, and from an initial position of being slightly ajar I feel almost halfway into a new unoccupied room, and with it a whole new chapter in my life. I will be hard closing the past doors of my life behind me, and I accept this while fully realising that the door will not finally close until the very last page of the book I'm intending to write next.

Time Travel: It's Been Done Before!
Tumblr media
Could we truly go through time? The short response is yes! Truth be told. We as a whole can jump forward through time, regardless of whether we understand it. To leap to the future, you can just rest and wake up a couple of hours after the fact right? Obviously that is conning the inquiry. We need to have the option to return and re-try those senseless mix-ups we made quite a long time back. who doesn't want to return and converse with their 15-year-old self? Tell them not to commit the errors you did (or they will). Or on the other hand maybe you'd prefer travel 500 years into the future and see those flying vehicles we were guaranteed continuously 2000. Luckily, time travel is hypothetically conceivable.
Truth be told there is no law in material science that forestalls time travel. Believe it or not, as indicated by every one of the laws of physical science we know, it's totally conceivable to go through time freely. Be that as it may, as the adage goes, to whom much is given, much will be expected. Time travel is a very hazardous undertaking with destroying outcomes, and is additionally loaded with oddities.
For instance, imagine a scenario where I turned back the clock and forestalled World War II. Seems like a splendid thought right? Innumerable lives would be saved, I'd be hailed as a saint! Not really. Despite the fact that I'd be saving lives, I'd likewise be obliterating others. What might be said about all the innovation that we depend on today that was created during the conflict, like stream motors and atomic power. Indeed the world guide could be totally unique. We could really be more regrettable off than just leaving history as it was.
Another popular time travel conundrum is the granddad oddity, which essentially expresses that if we somehow happened to say for example, I head out back to a period before my folks were conceived and keep my granddad from meeting my grandma. My folks couldn't have met and along these lines, I couldn't have ever been conceived. So how is it that I could have traveled once again into the past to keep my grandparents from meeting in any case.
So we can see that time travel could be a poorly conceived notion, however suppose we truly need to travel maneuver into the past, how might we do it? Well first we want to see how time functions.
Time is something we are altogether exceptionally acquainted with, we as a whole know what it is, yet we can't see it, contact it, we apparently can't associate with it in any capacity, we can notice it. Isaac Newton believed that time was steady and never veered off, which would obviously make time travel unimaginable. Indeed, even Einstein accepted it was unimaginable, yet it is his conditions that make it conceivable. Einstein conjectured that existence are mysteriously connected in what he alludes to as "space-time". So in principle, if I somehow happened to twist space with something very strong like a dark opening, I would likewise be distorting time. While this gives off an impression of being valid and researchers keep on investigating its prospects, the genuine opportunities for time travel, is by all accounts in his other hypothesis; Relativity. Indeed time travel utilizing relativity isn't only a hypothesis, it's really been done, a few times! Presently you presumably believe I'm insane however the mystery is by all accounts in going very quick.
As per Einstein's hypothesis of general relativity, no item with mass might travel quicker than the speed of light, which is an amazing 299,792,458 meters each second in a vacuum (that is no air). That is an amazing 1,080 million kilometers 60 minutes! So as per General Relativity, we can go at 99.99% the speed of light. However, lets say for example that I'm sitting at the rear of a plane going at the speed of light and I stroll to the front of the plane from the back at a pace of 10 kilometers 60 minutes. I'll let the conditions well enough alone, yet that would imply that my speed in addition to the speed of the plane would imply that I'm going at 1,080 million and ten kilometers 60 minutes, which is 10km/h quicker than light, correct? Wrong. Agreeing the hypothesis of relativity, time would in reality dial back for me to keep me from voyaging quicker than light. Sounds unusual doesn't it.
Obviously this situation could never occur, all things considered, as I have as of now said we can't go at or quicker than the speed of light. Truth be told you would require in excess of a limitless stockpile of fuel to travel quicker than light, which is clearly incomprehensible.
So then, at that point, what is relativity? Einsteins hypothesis of relativity essentially expresses that assuming I'm driving not too far off at 50km/h and drive past somebody remaining out and about, to them I would seem, by all accounts, to be going at 50km/h, I'm certain you definitely know this. Anyway to me in the vehicle, they also would go past me at 50km/h. However at that point on the off chance that somebody where to drive next to me in another vehicle going at 50km/h, to them I would seem, by all accounts, to be totally fixed. Difficult to accept? It's exactly the same thing that makes it look the vehicle driving adjacent to you on the roadway now and then is by all accounts drifting right external your window. I'll let the convoluted conditions well enough alone until further notice, yet you can utilize basic expansion and deduction to affirm this hypothesis. Assuming you're going a similar way as the article you're noticing, for this situation the other vehicle, you take away your speed from theirs. So 50km/h less 50km/h is equivalent to 0km/h. so they would have all the earmarks of being fixed. On the off chance that we're going the other way we add our speed to theirs. So 50km/h in addition to another 50km/h is equivalent to 100km/h. So assuming that we drove past the other vehicle at a similar speed the other way, they would have all the earmarks of being going at 100km/h.
So how does this function, and all the more significantly, how could they really figure out how to go through time? Well for reasons unknown, the quicker we travel, the more slow time will elapse. This was demonstrated when researchers put a nuclear clock, which is a very exact clock down to one billionth of a second, on the space transport and noticed it its conduct. Before send off the clock was impeccably synchronized with one more nuclear clock here on the planet, and when the bus had gotten back to earth they set up the two clocks. They then, at that point, found the clock from the van was somewhat behind the clock that stayed on the planet. which means time had past more slow for the clock on the bus than the clock that stayed on Earth.
So essentially space explorers are truth be told additionally people who goes back and forth through time. Sergei Krikalev, the current record holder for the most significant length of time spent in space (around 804 days or 2.2 years) is in reality a large portion of a second behind the remainder of the world. besides, researchers have really determined that if we would circle the Earth at 99.99% the speed of light for 7 entire years, we would really land back on earth 500 years later. This impact is known as Time Dilation. What an awesome acknowledgment! Time travel may really be inside our compass all things considered. The main issue is concocting a machine or vehicle fit for voyaging that quick. Tragically it appears as though that may be barely out of our compass for the present. We would really require the force of an entire star to get to that speed.
Be that as it may, what might be said about turning back the clock? Up to this point neither general or exceptional relativity consider voyaging in reverse on schedule and it seems like no different laws of material science will permit travel to the past. Such travel to the past, as expressed above would prompt mysteries that could bring about the breakdown of a whole universe, or a totally new one to be shaped. This is essential for the Many World Interpretation of Quantum Theory. There are different speculations to travel both forward and in reverse in time like dark openings and wormholes, yet I'll talk about those later on.
So for the time being it seems as though we could hypothetically head out to the future, however tragically we can't return and tell our more youthful self not to purchase that vehicle from that dodgy looking sales rep, or to purchase stocks in Apple and Microsoft when they initially begin travel. So we'll simply need to make due with voyaging advances on schedule at a similar rate we generally have, and just to stand by to see what's on the horizon.
