Do you have any good 911 whump fic recs?
OMG I have sooo many fic recs for 911. Okay so these are all Buck whump because I love him best. If you wanted Eddie whump or whump for anyone else I don't really have anything for that sorry.
Flare Up by actually18pigeons: Off of a chronic pain prompt - Buck has a flareup sometime between healing from the accident and being reinstated. Pre-lawsuit, pre-Buddie (but there's definitely mutual feelings).
Attack from Behind by Shearmouth: For Whumptober Day 6: "Stop, please." Most days, it's nothing. A twinge if he lands on it wrong, an ache during rainstorms. Other days, Buck can't breathe.
Radio Silence by madamewriterofwrongs: “Don’t worry, we’re on our way to you.” “No.” His halting voice echoed through the radios gathered around the truck and everyone stopped. Eddie kept running. “The whole quadrant’s unstable. Sweep’s done. It’s not safe.” Bobby was going to have a long talk with him about his self-sacrificing habits. For now, he kept his words calm and authoritative; for both their sakes. “None of that, you just hold still. Are you injured?” There was silence. Around him, the paramedics and firefighters of the 118 waited with bated breath. “Pretty bad.” There was little humor in his voice, though they could hear him trying. “My head. And uh, hahaha,” his laughter came as a gust of air. “I’ve been impaled?”
Stolen Moments of Time by SilvertonguedClotpole: Another divergence to the tsunami episode to add to the ever growing collection on here! The 118 crew are working away, busy and tired but hopeful for rest and thoughts of going home to their families, safe. That is, until Eddie picks up a photo, discarded and lost within the debris of the tsunami. Maybe he can reunite it with a family once all of this is over...turning it and glimpsing the faces sends a cataclysmic reaction through him. It's Buck and Chris. They were at the pier. And so, instead of working blissfully as in the episodes, the 118 have to work with the fear in their hearts and minds of their own being in one of the black bags. Camera footage reassures them before ripping hope away again. On the other end, Buck is beginning to give up until he finds Chris and everything is ok once more. Or is it? With emergency services aware one of their own is out there, all eyes are open and alert. And then the 118 get the call. "Affirmative. Go get your boys Nash!"
What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger...Right? by McGeekLover: Behind the Scenes: What we didn't and should've seen when the screen went black. OR Four Times we could've seen so much more Buck Whump, Eddie caring and 118 protectiveness and one time it could've been a lot worse.
denial's hard, breathing's harder carefulren: After a water rescue that almost ends badly, Buck comes down with a cold. At least, that's what he keeps telling himself despite getting worse.
death by blood thinners by carefulren: Buck cuts his arm during a rescue, but he doesn't realize until Eddie walks in on him half-naked in the locker room and covered in blood.
Another Head Hangs Lowly, Child Is Slowly Taken... and the Violence Causes Silence (Who Are We Mistaken?) by Huntress8611: “Buck, how we doing?” Hen asked, crouching next to him. “Uh, kinda numb,” he grunted. That wasn’t exactly the truth, and his vision swam as Hen inserted two IVs, the pain in his leg getting worse by the second.
Bring Me Back by Stennerd: It's been months since the tsunami and Buck had been doing just fine. All it took was walking through water to bring it all crashing back.
Buckle Up Buck by PurpleIsAFlavor: with the amount of trouble Buck seems to find its no secret that the 118 family can get a little protective.
Let That Lonely Feeling Wash Away by 221BSunsetTowers: After the fight with Eddie in the grocery store, Buck drops a glass jar and cuts his hand. Buck's just too tired, thinks he's just too tiring, to do anything but buy some gauze and plan on bandaging himself up at home. Buck's not really thinking about the blood thinners he's still on when the blood loss makes him collapse outside the store, right in front of Eddie.
Bruised But Not Beaten by JustSmileStuffHappens (ksz13): Prompt: Post lawsuit, Buck is persona non grata at the house to everyone except for Hen. Bobby orders him to do the worst chores, some that leave Buck bruised all over, with the blood thinners making them worse. One day while Buck has to take a shower after a particularly nasty chore, some of the other firefighters steal his clothes and towels. Bobby is not happy about that but before he can do anything, Buck comes out nude with his bruises on vivid display. Eddie rushes to cover him. ANGST!
Safe by MadalineGrace: Arguably, a fire station was one of the safest places to be. Where else could someone be surrounded by powerful rescue equipment, stores of medical supplies, and a dozen highly trained first responders? In the event of an emergency, there were few places Buck would rather be. Maybe his love for the job had clouded his thinking, lulled him into a false sense of security, he mused as he stared at the growing lake of blood beneath him. After today, it was safe to say that that illusion had been shattered…
the urgency of now by wayfarer: Buck is pretty sure the universe is actively trying to murder him at this point. There’s just no other explanation. In the last two years he has been blown up and subsequently crushed by a fire truck, suffered from a pulmonary embolism, nearly drowned in a tsunami and now this. How many times can he almost die before it stops being an accident and starts being some kind of cosmic hit put out on his life? Or, a building collapses on Buck and Eddie. Confessions ensue.
This Life We Choose by nighting_gale17: Finale fix-it fic When a bomb blows up a firetruck, Buck finds himself helpless, trapped underneath the ladder truck. Freddie is a little more broken and a lot more vengeful this time around. +the fire fam scenes we were robbed of
Whiplash by soft_satan: She parked near him and got out, avoiding the puddle as she approached him. Hands on her hips, she shook her head in pity. “What on earth happened to you?” He looked up at her with a pained smile, his shoulders instantly sagging with relief at the sight of her. “I got carjacked.” ... Thanks to a lack of communication, a horrific accident leads the team to fear the worst.
Bucky bear by wolfypuppypiles: Buck is still struggling with nightmares after the tsunami and Eddie and Christopher come up with a plan to help him feel safe at night.
My heads above the water but there's water in my mouth by wolfypuppypiles: The apartment was silent as she entered and it didn’t take long to find her brother, sitting frozen at the table. He was in the same clothes she’d seen him in when she’d gotten to the VA hospital, same dirt and blood covered skin and angry looking wounds. She sucked in a breath at the sight of him and dropped her bags on the floor, making her way over to him and dropping to her knees at his feet. “Oh my god, Evan. Have you been here since yesterday?” Yes. Yes he had.
Good People, Bad Parents by dateleggy: Eddie nods in agreement. “I remember I cut my sister’s hair into these ugly ass bangs when I was around Christopher’s age. It was right before picture day, too, I was grounded for like a month.” Buck looks at him, surprised. “Just grounded? I would have gotten the hard side of the belt for something like that. Or at least made to sleep outside.”
Will I Ever Be More Than I've Always Been? by Princessfbi:
“Hi Athena,” Buck mumbled from behind the icepack. “This isn’t what it looks like.” “It looks like you’ve been in a fight and the black and blue you’re wearing is telling me you didn’t win.” Buck blinked at her before he winced again. “Please don’t tell Bobby.
"I Am Not Afraid To Understand You by ShyAudacity: This guy, whoever he is, is swaying where he stands ten feet in front of the truck. Looks like he just barely made it out of a doomsday machine in one piece- but that’s not giving him much credit. The white t-shirt and sweatpants he’s wearing hang loosely on him and his feet are bare. Just from watching him stand Eddie can tell that he’s favoring his right leg over his left. His head swivels in the direction of Eddie’s car, but the man just blinks owlishly; like he’s not registering any of this. What the hell is going on? Eddie gets out of his car as his firefighter instincts start to kick in, already asking, “Hey, man- are you okay?”
We Lived Through the Wreck of Our Hearts by soft_satan: When the door to the supply closet burst open, Eddie skidded to a stop only feet away from them, his blood turning ice cold in his veins. A tall, wild eyed man had an arm wrapped around Buck’s neck and a gun pressed to the side of his head
call to arms by renecdote: “For the record,” Buck says immediately, thick through the stitches in his lip, “this wasn’t my fault.” Maddie’s eyes sweep over him, assessing, before her lips settle into a frown. “For the record,” she mimics, “I’m getting really sick of seeing you in a hospital bed.” Buck gets hurt on a call. Maddie meets him at the hospital.
The Wolf That's Yet To Howl by Princessfbi: “If one of you assholes takes another step, I’m pushing this kid over the edge. Do you understand?” Wide, terrified blue eyes dropped to stare at the speeding congested freeway below before leveling back up towards the gun in his face. Set during Season One and Buck's first real scare on the job.
Come Rain or Come Shineby Anonymous: Post-Season 3 Buck found himself alone in his apartment at the end of a 24h shift. Again. While it had been a few months since he had dropped the lawsuit and been reinstated, he couldn’t help but feel like things weren’t quite as they used to be before the truck bombing and everything that followed. Buck maybe wasn’t the brightest, but he wasn’t stupid. He knew well enough he had brought this upon himself. OR Buck struggles with his place within the team as he is forced to confront events from his past he might not have been ready to deal with.
Forgetting to Eat by Wolvesta: This isn't the first time it happens, but damn does it suck OR: Buck forgets to eat
Mother Hen's Bootcamp by Starrylizard: He felt his foot go out from under him, there was a brief intense pain and then time slowed down as he was falling toward concrete unable to stop himself.

9-1-1 4x09 thoughts: (SPOILER ALERT)
1. My heart literally dropped when I saw that Albert was upside down, I’m so glad that he is okay. When his heart stopped in the ambulance and Hen kept going with the compressions, I was on the edge of seat omg.
2. Jacob is adorable omg, I was so scared that we were going to lose him in this episode (and yes I am aware, we barely even know him but he’s so cute okay? okay.)
3. Bobby talking about his alcoholism story line? YES PLEASE. Although, I think it’s going to go deeper because Athena’s comment at the crash, the way Hen gives him a look, and the way Buck kind of backs up.
4. Jee-Yun Buckley Han already owns my heart omg, she is literally the cutest.
5. May’s old bully coming back into the storyline? Ahhh there is definitely something that is going to happen there, they focused on it way too much for it not to be. Also, the way Josh was ready to fight for May, yes we love to see it.
6. Eddie hugging Christopher, omg why whole heart. I love them both so much and if anything happens to them, I’m about to take a book out of Buck’s book and do a lawsuit... jk jk (mostly).
7. Speaking of Buck, can we just talk about how adorable he was with Jee-Yun, aw I’m so excited to see Uncle Buck.
8. Okay now one of the most heart wrenching parts (other than the crash and Albert almost dying) is Hen and Karen having to deal with Nia seeing her biological mom. Let me just tell you, I was on the verge of tears when Nia was crying for them, and my heart melted every time she calls them “Mama Hen” and “Mama Karen” like omg how adorable.
Overall, this was a really good episode, it followed more of the character’s storylines than usual and was setting up for it to go deeper. This was exactly what I needed after that month of not having new episodes.

Tumblr media
Hot.
It was too hot, you decided, ripping the blanket away from your body as you turned once more to the other side of your bed. Darkness enveloped you as your eyes burned from exhaustion, but your mind ran at millions of miles per hour. You mentally slapped yourself, wondering why your head just couldn’t shut up and how you couldn’t fade into a deep sleep. You tried everything from counting sheep to singing songs in your head, but nothing worked as you tried to stop the dreams that always snaked their way into your mind during the nights you managed to get some rest. You turned on the fan, shutting it off again when it grew cold, no remedy prevailing.
You shoved a pillow onto your face, begging yourself to sleep. As you laid there for a couple minutes, you sighed in aggravation, knowing all of your attempts were completely useless with it being past midnight already and no luck. You threw the pillow to the side and sat up, rubbing your eyes as if there was any sleep there anyways. You ran a hand through your hair, trudging off to the kitchen for a late night snack. If there was one thing that could fix this episode of the usual nightmares, it would be food.
You opened the cabinets in the kitchen of the Avengers compound, wondering how in the world there were no sweets or chips lying around. This is what I get for being apart of Earth’s best defenders, you joked to yourself, opening the refrigerator door, inspecting the contents in the freezer.
The sound of footsteps padding against the hardwood floors was a soft, gentle noise as a certain someone made their way over to the fridge as well. As you continued to observe the fridge’s items, oblivious to the presence of another person in the room, a body brushed against yours.
You jumped up in fright, hitting your head on the edge of the refrigerator. The darkness of the kitchen made it hard for you to identify who it was.
“Y/N, it’s just me, Bucky,” he whispered. You breathed out a sigh of relief.
“Why are you up so late, Barnes?” You whined in a hushed tone. You rubbed your eyes once more in annoyance, the scene from just moments earlier washing over you with a wave of embarrassment. Bucky chuckled softly, reaching past you for the milk carton, pouring himself a glass. “I could say the same for you.”
You rolled your eyes, turning your attention back to the fridge, sticking your head in. Although you and Bucky shared a close, intimate friendship and had been there for each other through everything, it still ashamed you to admit small things.
“I can’t sleep,” you muttered, looking for nothing in particular. Bucky watched you as you closed the refrigerator door, leaning back against it in a defeated condition. He admitted to himself that it was always hard for him to keep his eyes off of you as he examined your sleepless state, your hair pulled back although strands curved around your facial features. Even in the dark of night, your eyes gave off a soft glimmer that had Bucky lost in a trance.
“Yeah, neither can I,” Bucky admitted, his fingers grazing the edge of the cup. There was an unspoken, mutual feeling between the two of you as you both recalled the nightmares and visions that kept you up on nights like this. The two of you had seen too much to get any sleep nowadays, and the rare occasions that you drifted off never lasted long. It was comforting in a way and provided a temporary peace, knowing that someone understood a sliver of what it was like.
Now, it was your turn to watch Bucky as he stared at the table in front of him. He had a typical black shirt that clung to his figure, showing off his build and blue plaid flannel pants that hung to his hips. Bucky was always a quiet, contemplative soul, but you knew there was more to him than what met the eyes. There were parts of him that were stolen and though they couldn’t be replaced, you were always looking for a way to bring him new parts. To bring that old self to light even though that wasn’t him.
Anymore.
“You know what bothers me, Buck?” You asked, a smile twitching at the corners of your lips as you tried to forget the memories that burned your mind on these evenings.
“What?” Bucky asked, drawn to the gentle and sweet sound of your voice. Even when you yelled or delivered orders, your tone never failed to make Bucky’s heart flutter.
“How they have no good food in this place whatsoever,” you said in fake disbelief. Your comment broke Bucky’s frown into a wide smile as he shook his head, wondering how you could still joke after all this time. He certainly thought he had lost the ability to do so.
“Well, we should do something about that. Tomorrow,” Bucky suggested, the heat rising up into his cheeks. He had liked you- heck, loved you- for the longest time and wasn’t willing to sit back on his feelings any longer. You knew him better than anyone, actually understanding a small part of his haunted past and yet you cared for him like you would with anyone else.
Your mouth dropped open a bit as your palms grew sweaty. You panicked, not knowing how to deal with yourself. “I-I should probably head to bed now,” you nodded, silently kicking yourself for the awkward tension you had just managed to create between your best friend and you. You thought you had a pretty good thing going on with Bucky, and that invitation could ruin it all.
Bucky’s heart sank as you retreated back to your room, exhaling a breath of disappointment that was supposed to be joy, if you had accepted instead. He also mentally kicked himself for ever believing the two of you could have something, and hated himself for seeing the signals and signs that he thought were clear, but just ended up being blurry instead. He carried his cup back to his room, sadly shutting the door behind him.
There was no chance you were sleeping now.
You tossed and turned, moving every second as his words replayed through your mind over and over again. Was that what you thought it was? A date? Maybe you had read the signs incorrectly. Maybe you wanted it to happen so badly that you had just read signs where there weren’t any. You were beyond angry with the way you had just left, now knowing there was the silent rejection you had given him when you awkwardly scurried to your room. You liked him, so why couldn’t you act natural? Why ruin the relationship you had secretly waited so long to have?
Wait.
Liked.
Relationship.
You. Liked. Bucky.
You had ignored it for too long. When breath seemed short when he was near, when you smiled like an idiot when he managed to give you a small smile back, when he made a smart remark that always led you to shove him, you always squashed down those feelings, scared of what could happen if you acted on them. And now, that Bucky had reached out to you, feeling the same way you felt, you ran in the opposite direction.
You scrambled out of bed, releasing the hair tie from your head and smoothed back your hair, inhaling confidence. Even if you had read the signs incorrectly, you wanted to at least die of embarrassment trying.
You were going to run in his direction this time.
You swung open your door to find Bucky standing there with a stricken, dumbfounded expression as soon as he saw you. He seemed to be having a conversation with himself as he waited outside your door, trying to prepare himself.
It seemed that he was going to die trying too.
“Bucky?”
“Y/N?”
“What are you doing outside my room?” You asked. You knew why. You just hoped he would say it out loud. You prayed that you were right.
“Um…well-I-“
“Actually, Buck, I wanted to tell you something.” You bit your lip, the sound of your heartbeat drumming in your ears.
“I wanted to too.” Bucky mumbled, forcing himself to gaze into your eyes. Even at night, he couldn’t help but find himself weak as he stared at your glow in the moonlight.
“Well-“
“Uh-“
“Stay with me tonight.” The two of you spoke simultaneously, starting and finishing in unison. No words escaped either of your lips as you tried to comprehend the others message, hearts swelling at the thought of the other feeling the same way.
Before you knew it, Bucky had his lips pressed against yours, softly and sweetly, smiling in between breaths. He hadn’t felt so light in ages, but when he connected with you, a new part of him finally made its way to the light, and it was a part of him he never wanted to lose.
You pulled your door wide open, letting him in. He crawled onto your bed and moments later you fell into his arms perfectly, not saying a word. The two of you laid together peacefully for hours, drifting off into a perfect sleep.
If it took a sleepless night filled with nightmares to bring you two together, it was worth it.

About netflix's the mist: Can you give me a short summary what happens after episode 5? I cant watch it anymore. Thank you. 💖
Omg I got you. All right. *cracks knuckles*Warning, under this is a LONG POST giving a summation of episodes 6-10 of the Mist. TW: Mentions of rape, murder, violence.
Episode 6 -- The whole issue with two Bryan Hunts is quickly resolved when Jonah, the one we’ve known as Bryan this whole time, gets into a fight with the real Bryan Hunt. The man attacked him first, and Jonah strangles him with a phone cord. Mike is dead, you know that already, so the Doctor comes by to ask how he’s doing, and just sees this pained expression and he knows. Kevin finds out Mia took the car and goes on a bit of a walk, runs into Doctor Bailey putting people outside into the Mist while drugged as an experiment. He fights him, but the Doc injects him with ketamine. He goes down like a lead balloon, wakes up strapped to a gurney and about to be experimented on. The girl Kevin tried to save is dead, and the Doc explains that he’d been sending people out there, and the girl saw her dogs she loved so much, and then they ate her. He gets saved by Jonah, who throws the Doc to the Mist. Kevin’s hallucination was of an owl that said ‘What?’, after his book he wrote. Mia returns to her house that was owned by the other dude, but the Mist invaded it. She hallucinates her mother, encouraging her to kill herself, apologizing for being a bad mother, telling her she loved her. Her mother slashes Mia’s wrists, but Mia is able to get herself out of it by beating her mother to death, upon shouting that her mother was wrong -- she did have someone to live for. Jonah. At the church, Link, the altarboy, is still obsessively angry about Nathalie’s approach to the Mist and the fact that Father Romanov hasn’t stopped her. Father Romanov takes a more passive approach to trying to encourage people to come to God, but they keep gravitating to Nathalie. So Link lures Nathalie upstairs, and starts beating her, telling her he won’t stop until she accepts Christ. She smashes a window, and runs out the door, locking it. He screams, as the Mist sucks the life out of him. At the mall, Alex is feeling guilty over surviving the book store. Eve takes her on a shopping spree to cheer her up, but not before Lila’s mom catches them having fun. Later, Alex is roaming around by herself and she’s locked in a break room, which is then set on fire. Jay comes to save her and both her and Eve initially blame him for it. He’s badly burned after trying to save her, and continues to insist he didn’t rape Alex, but begs to stay with Eve’s group, as he says that his group is going crazy, and that they threw Vic into the Mist. Lila’s mom is making angry comments left and right, riling up the group over demonizing Alex and Eve. At the hospital, the generators go down. The doors open, and the Mist begins its run. Mia runs the group to the only place where the doors never unlock -- the Psych Ward.
Episode 7- At the Psych Ward, Mia tells Bryan his name is Jonah Dixon. She explains how she knows. Mia also lets him know her mother was Bipolar with Psychosis, and was in this ward for most of her life. She uses some pills to do a rapid detox, and is strapped down by Jonah, but her screaming gives him flashbacks of being experimented on. He uses the same codewords to her as he was given, in order to help her through the pain. Tyler and Adrian have a moment where Tyler apologizes for all of the bullying. Adrian accepts it, and they spoon all night. Tyler wakes to Adrian gone, and they find that the hospital worker, Nash, was actually a patient. Nash had murdered the entire ward staff, and now he had Adrian in the meds room, screaming he was evil and must be murdered. Kevin convinces Nash that he is the evil one, by telling him what he wants to do to the boy who raped his daughter, and it is violent, and includes vivisection. He fights Nash while Adrian has one last moment with Tyler, who chooses to stay in the ward rather than go with Adrian and accept himself as being gay. He is choosing abandonment and death.
At the mall, Lila’s mom is continuously poisoning people against Alex -- and the stuff coming out of her mouth is horrid. ‘Alex is a liat, she probably caused the Mist, she probably lied about her sexual assault, she’s crazy’ this and that. The mall owner is really trying to shut her down, but Kyle, the guard, is believing her word for word, and encouraging others to do the same. Eve is paranoid about Jay, and threatens him again, but Alex is starting to slowly believe him.At the church, shit goes downhill. Father Romanov tells the corpse of Link, on the other side of the door, that his sacrifice is not in vain, and he knows now what he must do. He challenges Nathalie to a test of faith -- if she can walk out into the Mist and come back unharmed, she wins, and the people should follow her. If he comes back, they should follow him. She agrees. She goes out buck naked, and he goes out in full Catholic dress, and begins loudly praying, and chanting Bible verses. A group of shadow people on horses, wearing spiked armor appear, and they send an arrow on a chain through Father Romanov, and leave Nathalie alone. They drag him away while riding off, and he screams the whole way. She returns to the church and explains what she saw. Their faith turns to her.
Episode 8 - They stop by Adrian’s house so he can say goodbye. His father is alive, his mother isn’t. His father kept her body, and they start arguing over things. His father admits he hates him, for being bisexual, and for being crazy. He tells him that all of his psychological problems caused his mother to have them as well. They get into an argument, Adrian shoots his father, then lays next to him insisting that his father loved him. When he hears Kevin coming, he cuts his own arm and insists his father tried to kill him. While Kevin is stitching him up, Adrian begs him to tell him he’d always be a part of his family. Kevin, while looking for antiseptic, comes across the same drug in the medicine cabinet that was used to drug Alex and Adrian admits to raping her, because she was the only person who loved him, and he didn’t want to lose her, according to him. Kevin fights him, Adrian shoots Kevin, and runs back to the car, crying that his father shot Kevin and Kevin was dead. While all of this was happening, Mia and Jonah were fucking in the garage. Now, they’re in the rig, and they all decide to go to the mall, with the exception of Vic, whom Kevin had picked up earlier in the episode, as he was flashing an SOS flashlight sign and told Kevin he knew where his daughter was. At the church, shit hits the fan. Nathalie explains that the Black Spring happened because a woman was abused, and that with Alex’s sexual assault, the Black Spring came again to right things. She convinces Connor that he must kill his son to save the world from the Mist. Connor is at a breaking point psychologically, so he accepts this, and looks to Nathalie like a twisted mother, she calls him good boy and holds him. The married couple agrees to go through the tunnels with them to kill Jay, but everyone else wants to stay. Nathalie locks the doors on them, and lights the church on fire. We can hear them scream as they go through the tunnels. At the Mall, Lila’s mom has been poisoning everybody against Alex because she saw Jay kiss her, and finally, when she’s alone with Gus, she breaks a bit. She admits she was trying to get Alex hurt because she couldn’t stand the fact that Eve’s daughter made it out. She was angry. But, she’s willing to admit she was wrong, and confess to the whole group that they shouldn’t hate Alex for being a teenager. Except, she admits that she went to tell Gus that, and found all of the food he’d been hoarding, and was going to tell the group that, too. Gus beats her over the head and then strangles her. When caught by the group, he insists Alex did it, because she’s evil. The group begins a witchhunt for Alex.
Episode 9 - As expected, Kevin isn’t dead. Vic helps Kevin, and they house hop to another home where Kevin can sleep a little while, with Vic waking him every once in a bit to ensure his concussion didn’t kill him. The stop by a house with a bunch of dead soldiers and a man who is crazed. The man is threatening, and says that his wife never returned from a store run. He lets off a grenade, and Kevin protects himself with a dead body. Kevin fights a version of himself from the Mist and wins, leaving with Vic in a military vehicle they found the keys for on a soldier.
Adrian and crew makes it to the mall, but not before Eve gives Jay some food and water in the holding cell she has given him. She wants him separated from her daughter so badly she imprisons him. Adrian finds Alex and Eve on the run from the witch hunt. He lies to them about Kevin being killed while saving him from his father’s wrath, and Alex is just about broken. Eve shoots Kyle in the shoulder while trying to escape. Gus and crew throw them all into the same room as Jay, and tell them their judgment is coming. Alex instantly runs to Jay and holds him, which upset Adrian.
Wes runs into Jonah, and fights him, choking him out to unconsciousness. Jonah later wakes up ties to a chair and Wes salutes him. The church group is going through the sewer, but the husband falls down a shaft and Nathalie insists they leave him. His wife freaks out, and Nathalie nods at Connor, who guts her and throws her down the same shaft, so the rats can eat them. Their screams are ignored by Connor and Nathalie, who embrace and Nathalie calls him a good boy, and acts like a twisted mother.
THE FINALE - Adrian starts beating Jay with a paint can, insisting that at the hospital, the Doctor told them the DNA results came back positive for Jay’s DNA. Everyone is horrified. Jay keeps insisting he didn’t do it. He is saved by his father, who came into the mall and told Gus that all he wanted was his son, nothing else. Gus gives the boy over, and takes the rest of the prisoners to be judged and thrown into the Mist. He lets Adrian go, because he doesn’t care about him.
Adrian ran to a tool store, and is found by Kevin, who beats him within an inch of his life. It’s not clear to me who lit the fire, Adrian or Kevin, but either way, one is lit that separates them. Mia grabs Kevin and they decide to split up, him to look for Eve and Alex, her to find Jonah, and they’d meet in the middle. Vic stayed in the car, because fuck those mall people. Wes tells Jonah that he is his superior, and that he is a high ranking military official. Jonah uses that to his advantage, and orders Wes to untie him. Wes tells him they must return to Arrowhead, so that the doctor who did all of this could explain to Jonah what she did, and give him back his memory. He breaks Mia’s heart when she finds him and begs him to leave with her, and he tells her he wanted to know who he was, so he leaves with Wes, after having promised in episode 9 that he would leave with her and the money she stole to buy a gorgeous house and be married. Mia is crushed, but she still goes back to the rest of the group, trying to catch up with Kevin.Nathalie and Connor take Jay to the doors, and Connor tells him how proud he is of him, how much he loves him, but says that he created him, and created a monster. Jay begs them, but he throws Jay out and shuts the door, watching as Jay is beating the door, begging his father to be let in. He runs off into the Mist, and his father begins a nervous breakdown. Nathalie insists he did good, calls him a good boy, and strokes his hair.Kimi tries to protect Alex from the group, and she is shot in the head by Kyle. Eve shouts that Connor must protect Alex, as he is Alex’s biological father. Connor is too broken, and shouts that Eve is a liar, and the group is stopped by Kevin, whom Alex runs to in an instant. Kevin gets into a fist fight with Kyle, and then begs the group not to send them to certain death. They tell him who Eve says Connor was, and it’s clear Kevin doesn’t care. He holds his daughter, and they are sent into the Mist, where they all run. Mia runs with them, and they head to the car. The Mist grabs Alex, and begins to kill her, but she is saved by Jay, who is killed by it. Making it to the car, Kevin tells them that it was Adrian, not Jay. Alex is crushed, and it’s clear Eve is feeling some sort of way. Kevin makes a decision, and backs up into the glass mall doors, sending the Mist inside. Connor helps them get their jeep untrapped, and Alex begs him to come along. He does, and you can see his break when Alex tells him Jay was innocent, and died protecting her. She thinks this will be a comfort, but this damages him beyond repair. The people in the mall are all attacked, and brutally murdered. Kyle is killed by snakes, Gus is sobbing, locked in his office where the Mist cannot get to him, and he hears people screaming and knocking on the door but ignores them. Nathalie sees Benedict, who takes her a baby, whom he says is dead -- a hint at a past trauma of hers, where she gave birth to a dead child. The child begins crying for her, and she brings it to her breast to suckle. It drains the life from her, and Benedict sobs while he holds her. Kevin’s group is driving, trying to get out of town, because they feel like the Mist cannot be everywhere. They see a train and rush to catch it, hoping they can get out of town quicker. What they find is a bunch of military men with Arrowhead symbolism shoving prisoners out of the train cars, then slamming the doors, and sending the train off. When asked what the military thinks it was doing, Kevin says “Oh my god.... they’re feeding it....” and it can draw the conclusion that this was a military experiment, which has been hinted since day one.Wes and Jonah drive back, and Adrian is seen in the back of their car, unbeknownst to them.Done. Hope that answers everything, um, it was INTENSE af and hard to watch, so I hope you’re all good! I hated the fact that the bisexual was a rapist, and an unhinged one. It’s something people seem to love writing and it’s biphobic af and gross. Moffat does it too during Sherlock S4. It’s BS. The other thing is, of course, another dead lesbian. Jfc. But I need S2 to yell at, so I hope it gets renewed.

Alaina Huffman talks Directing, Fandom, Social Change and 'Supernatural,' of course
I had the chance to catch up with Alaina Huffman (Supernatural, Stargate Universe and Smallville) at the Supernatural Burbank convention.  Our paths have crossed many times, but we had never had a chance to sit down and chat until then – and what a fun conversation it was!
Alaina was appearing as a guest at that convention, and after playing Abbadon on Supernatural for multiple episodes, had just returned to that set to shadow director Phil Sgriccia. I couldn’t wait to hear all about that, but first, we had to gush a little about the SPN Family. The Burbank convention, in particular, feels like a family affair, since many of the cast are local and can bring their families along.
Lynn: It really does feel like everyone is family at the cons.
Alaina:  Especially here, everyone has their family and their kids here.
Lynn: OMG Matt [Cohen, Supernatural and General Hospital]’s son Macklin is so cute.
Alaina: SO cute!
[Yes, we were gushing. If you’ve seen Macklin, you totally understand why. There followed a brief pause for both of us to grab another handful of Doritos from the bag on the table between us]
Alaina: (laughing) I’m so sorry, you’re gonna have a lot of crunching on your tape.
Lynn: From me too! I’ll just laugh when I’m trying to transcribe it because I’ll know what all that noise is.
[And yes, that’s what just happened…]
Lynn: So tell me about shadowing [director] Phil Sgriccia on Supernatural recently. How was that experience?
Photos: Fangasm SPN
Alaina: So cool. I talked to Phil about it quite extensively. You know, going through your career, people always ask, are you interested in directing, or producing, or blah blah blah. I created a comic book a few years back with MTV, and that was my first foray into producing anything and managing a bunch of people around a project that was centered around me.  And it was great; I loved it. And it was successful, we launched the full graphic novel and then I just sort of went on with my career and my life. And then this last couple years has been funky. Just to share a little, I’m getting divorced.
Lynn: That’s always hard, no matter what.
Alaina: I feel like we should have a party — 17 years and four kids is not a failure!
Lynn: Absolutely not.
Alaina: But he’s had a really hard time, and he’s dealing with his own things, and it’s a bit painful. And it’s just weird, it’s like, what happened here? So I’m trying to move on with my life in a personal way and a professional way and also, I’m a single mom with four kids, and it’s all me all the time.
Lynn: Which is unbelievably hard!
Alaina:  I spent a lot of the year sort of resenting that even though I did want the divorce. So anyway, I found myself saying I need to do something, I need to be busy.
Lynn: That can be very therapeutic.
Alaina: Not that I’m not busy with four kids and a career, but I needed something to put my focus on. And I talked to Rich [Richard Speight, Jr., Supernatural, Kings of Con] about it and he had suggested this, and then my other friend Bam Bam – James Bamford who directs a lot for Arrow and I worked with him on both Smallville and Stargate. So I just kept having these conversations with people independently from each other, and I thought, what am I doing? So I sat down with a friend of mine, Chad McKinney, who was a studio executive over the show and now has moved on to Sony, but he was like, why don’t you talk to Phil [Sgriccia, Supernatural]? And I was like, that’s a great idea. So I sent Phil an email and said hey I’d love to pick your brain about directing. So we went out for a coffee, and we had a 2-hour coffee, and I said, I’ve never directed anything, I don’t know what to do. And he said listen, I’m doing shadowing next week, why don’t you come to Vancouver?
Lynn: Phil seems like such a giving person, such a wonderful and talented man. One of the reasons Supernatural has been on the air going on 13 seasons.
Alaina: He’s a great mentor. So I took that opportunity knowing the circumstances that I’m in, and I explained to him, I don’t know if I can get away, and I ended up making it work. And I got up on set and, you know, it’s a beautiful family, it really is.
Lynn: It really is, literally.
Alaina: And Phil really is a great mentor. Every meeting we had [after shadowing], he was like, so what happened there was…  And he just really took the opportunity to teach me along the way. And honestly? I was lost for a lot of it, during the prep work, because it’s so disconnected from being on set.
Lynn: Right, so different from the part of it that you’ve seen, working as an actor on a show.
Alaina: For 20 years. And so I was sitting in meetings going, ‘what are they talking about? I know I read the script like five times, why don’t I understand?’
Lynn: (laughing) Like hey, I’ve been on this show…
Alaina: Yeah! And I know what department head is talking and I still don’t understand what’s going on! And then we went on the scout, and we had to go back out because we lost a couple of locations because of schedules and blah blah blah, and the second time through everything, I got it. Like oh yeah, the car is gonna come from here and this is this and that is that, and oh that’s what you were talking about!
Lynn: So it started to all pull together and make sense.
Alaina: Yeah. But definitely, there were a couple of shots of me probably on the internet like passed out on a set chair…
Lynn: (laughing) Understandable!
Alaina (laughing) I was like just falling asleep. But it was super fun, Ruth [Connell] was on that episode, which was great. So we got to prank Mark Sheppard and decorate his trailer with Misha’s [Collins] pictures.
Lynn: So you and Ruth plastered his entire trailer on set with photos of Misha!  I love that Ruth pulled you into it, and it sounds like Mark loved it too actually.
Alaina: He did!
Lynn: Which I guess is not really the reaction you’re hoping for when you’re trying to prank someone…
Alaina: He was a great sport, it was really really fun. And so funny, but we were worried – we were like well, he’ll either get really really mad or he’ll think it’s funny.
Lynn: Right, it could go either way. But you didn’t really damage anything; it was all in good fun. Sometimes pranks have a mean-spirited edge, but not that one.
Alaina: Yeah, so the shadowing was a great opportunity and it’s in the back of my mind as something that I sort of have a future plan for. I want to weave it into the fabric of my life right now, which includes raising my four kids by myself and being an actor and now working as a director. One of the things that I realized is that wow, this would be a really tough job for a single mom with four kids.
Lynn: That’s true.
Alaina: They call it the black hole, you’re literally in a black hole for two and a half weeks.
Lynn: Yeah, it sounds like you just have to immerse yourself. Jensen [Ackles] has talked about that, which is why when he directs, they usually give him the first episode filming. And Richard has too, about how much work it is. It sounds a) really stressful because you have so much responsibility and b) all encompassing.
Alaina: Yes. One thing that I loved is that everyone – my sort of mentors that I’ve conferred with on this, Bam and Rich and Phil – they were all like, you’re gonna get asked so many questions. And Misha said the same thing; people just ask you questions and you just kinda have to have an answer. You’re the one who has to answer.
Lynn: It’s like the buck stops there really.
Alaina: And it made it sound like it would be really overwhelming to be asked all these questions, but as I witnessed it – and I wasn’t being asked the questions, Phil was – but actually it feels very helpful to me, because something in everyone’s inquiries would jog your memory and you’d be like oh yeah, we need that. Because you can’t do it all by yourself.
Lynn: Right, and it’s a team, and everyone is there to remember their part of it
Alaina: Yeah, and everyone is so seasoned. So, it’s there. My youngest is four, almost five in December; he’s in preschool. So I’m sort of weaving it into my life, and it’s a focus now, and I think it would be something that I would like to do.
Lynn: And we really need more female directors.
Alaina: I feel like there’s a voice, and every person, each one brings their perspective into it – it’s story telling, an aspect of story telling, and we all bring our perspectives, so I will definitely bring mine.
Lynn: I’m looking forward to that.
Alaina: So I did this course today on manifesting intentions and that kind of stuff, and one of the things I realized as we were going through the work was about being present. In acting, we talk about being present all the time.
Lynn:  I’ve heard Jensen talk about that, that if you’re over-rehearsed, you can’t be present for the other actor.
Alaina: [nodding] And I wrote in my notebook – it was a big revelation for me – I always feel like I’m escaping, like I almost feel a little guilty, maybe because I’m a mom. But I always feel a little bit guilty when I travel or when I go away for work because I’m truly in the moment. Like I go to museums, I have fun, I immerse myself in a character, I laugh on set, it’s not stressful to me at all. And for years, I felt sort of guilty about that. And so I realized that’s where I am very present, and then I’m like oh, that’s not me escaping, that’s me being truthful to who I am.
Lynn: I wonder if you only feel guilty about that because you are a woman —  and a mom.
Alaina: [nodding] Yeah, yeah.
Lynn: I get what you’re saying, I do, but I’m not sure many guys would feel guilty about that.
Alaina: No! And that’s so true, and I know this is sort of a soapbox that I’m on right now, but I can’t tell you how many times I’ve sat on planes with other women saying this or like you’ll have to make a choice, and I’m like, I’ve made a choice!
Lynn: Yeah, like this IS a choice!
Alaina: Thank you, this is my choice.
Lynn: Yeah, I’m doing both. I don’t think we say that to men, you have to make a choice.
Alaina: No, and I’ve sat on the very same plane with my male colleagues who are like oh, your family is so lucky you’re willing to do that for them.
Lynn:  Very different perspective.
Alaina: Yeah.
Lynn: That’s something we talk about in our books.  Have you thought about doing that Warner Brothers directors course? Richard told me all about it, and it sounds wonderful, and I think it’s meant to help women and minority directors be successful.
Alaina: Yes, it’s for minorities, but they do have a strong focus on women, absolutely. Nina [Lopez-Corrado] went through that program.
Lynn: Oh, she did! I love her so much. Everyone loves her so much. She’s so damn good.
Alaina: She’s great, and they love her. She’s got a great temperament  and everything. Absolutely it’s something I want to get into. There are requirements; you have to have a short that’s been in festivals or a feature…
Lynn: That’s right, Richard told me all the things he did to prepare, to get lined up to qualify, doing some commercials and shorts and things like that.
Alaina: Exactly. So it is a goal I’m working towards, and Jenny Klein has offered to write me a short to direct.
Lynn: I miss her on Supernatural. She’s also awesome!
Alaina: She is.
Lynn: Women supporting women, woohoo!
Alaina: Right, right. And the beautiful thing about it too is that I just have so many great friends who are like so talented. I did a short with Jenny [as writer] and Nicole Baer [as director] this summer.
Lynn: Oh yes, Vagabond! I tweeted it around. Talk about women supporting women – and SPN Family sticking together.
Alaina: Thank you! It was so good, and it’s funny because I was on set and Jenny showed up and I had said to Nicole earlier that day, this is the first time this has ever happened to me, and I know it’s because Jenny and I are friends, but I could hear her voice when I was reading the lines.
Lynn: Oh cool, because you know her.
Alaina: I could hear her inflection and her tone and her voice, and I was like oh, I get it!
Lynn: [nodding]
Alaina: I’ve had writers say to me before on other shows, like I hear you, after we’ve done a couple episodes and we get to know each other and have had dinners or whatever, I hear you in my head and I write from that perspective. But I’ve never had it go the other way, where I’ve actually heard the writer’s voice.
At this point, it was getting close to time for the Saturday Night Special concert, and Alaina’s handler, Victoria, came in to let us know. We spent a few minutes admiring Victoria’s awesome concert makeup, which is something she does professionally, so her makeup skills are A plus. That led to us wishing her happy birthday and then an epic discussion of birthday cakes, specifically the tres leche cake at Portos which I still have not managed to sample, much to my great dismay.
Alaina: But the line like on a holiday is blocks long. I have a friend who’s a baker there, and it’s not frozen stuff, it’s real.
Lynn: [is pouting]
I managed to pull myself out of my depression to get back on track eventually, however.
Lynn: So one of the other things that you have a unique perspective about is that you’ve been on successful genre shows with passionate fandoms before. For most of the cast, this has been a completely new experience, but not for you.
Alaina: Mm hmm.
Lynn: What’s different about this experience and this fandom from Stargate Universe or Smallville? Both of those are also genre shows with big fan followings.
Alaina: I was saying to Briana [Buckmaster, Supernatural] earlier that I’m a little envious of her and of Ruth and all these new people who have come into this fandom now — especially what’s happened with the band [Louden Swain] and with Rich, it’s like they paved the road.
Lynn:  Definitely. It’s so different having Louden Swain as the house band and Richard as the host all weekend.
Alaina: Creation has been around for so long and I’ve worked with them for so long and with other shows all over the world, but there’s something about this Show and this cast. You can’t even really pinpoint it – we genuinely like each other, and the fandom is genuine.  I’ve expressed this before – my show, Stargate Universe, was not well received, it was very negatively received by the fandom, and it was fine, we got over it, and people ended up coming around, but it wasn’t warm and fuzzy. But this – it’s like, you walk into it and it’s like a big slap of love in your face, and you’re like OMG they love me!
Lynn: [grinning] They do. Even with you being a bad guy.
Alaina: Especially with you being a bad guy!
Lynn: Yeah, I think especially, you’re right.
Alaina: That’s the crazy thing! And I’ve known Mark Sheppard for years, I used to call Mark my secret lover because I’d see him all over the world at these events, and I never worked with him until Supernatural.
Lynn: He did so many genre shows too, so he also has that perspective.
Alaina: Exactly. And so I’d see him, and I had done panels with him all over the world. So I’d probably known him for several years before I got on Supernatural and then I was like ‘Oh my buddy Mark Sheppard is on this show!’ So that was great getting to work with him and  Sarah, his wife, is a dear friend of mine and like the best thing that ever happened to him and I adore her.
Lynn: Me too, she’s awesome.
Alaina: So it’s just like beautiful. It really is, it’s real, I think anyone can tell, on a regular basis we’re like – yesterday I was on facetime with Ruth for about an hour – I facetime with Lisa Berry, we all see each other whenever we can. And Rich and Rob [Benedict, Supernatural] are doing this amazing show, Kings of Con [Comic-Con HQ]…
Lynn: You’re in it, right?
Alaina: I’m in it, I play Robbie’s wife.
Lynn: That’s right!
Alaina: It’s so fun, it’s so witty, it’s so well written. Rich directed the episodes that I was in – I was in two, but I think he did them all and Robbie wrote them. They hired everyone that they know and they pulled a lot of favors, and we just all wanted to support each other. This is how we are; we support each other’s campaigns and charities and – it’s real. There’s usually an email that goes out like, hey can you help me with this? But there’s no resistance from anyone; they’re like YES, what do you need me to do? Let’s get on the same page. I mean, I probably have six or seven text threads with all the different people, and we have conference calls about all the things we’re doing, it’s fucking beautiful.
Lynn: And it’s so unusual. I started studying fandom because of this show and this fandom, and I felt like this was going to be a phenomenon early on. But I’ve never seen anything like this – it’s like a family on the cast side – and the crew side too!
Alaina: Yes, the crew is so great too.
Lynn: And then a family on the fan side. It’s this weird reciprocity.
Alaina: And there’s a crossover as well.
Lynn: And yeah, that doesn’t happen either. That’s what my new book [Family Don’t End With Blood] is about, with chapters written by actors and fans – the stories are equally powerful on both sides of whatever you want to call it, it’s not really a divide…
Alaina: No!
Lynn: Everybody really knows each other, there’s familiarity.
Alaina: And if there is an issue and it’s vocalized, I do think there’s support behind people. Sometimes it’s a conversation, but it’s very rarely an argument.
Lynn: It might be a heated conversation, but it gets worked out usually.
Alaina: Yeah, and it’s fascinating to me.
Side note: I have no clue how we ended up talking about Star Trek and then Nichelle Nicholls, but that’s where we went next. Alaina may have been sharing her own fangirl moments.
Alaina: I adore Nichelle Nicholls.
Lynn: Do you know her?
Alaina: I do.
Lynn: [possibly starstruck] Oh wow. I’m kinda in awe right now.
Alaina: Yeah she’s amazing. I’ve had dinner with her several times, and she’s told me so many great stories.
Lynn: [chinhands]
Alaina: Two of my favorite stories that she told me, one was how these things [conventions] started.
Lynn: Oh right, because she was there.
Alaina: She was. The first real conventions were Star Trek. And what happened was, it was off the air and fans were really distraught and they wanted to get together, and they’re like, we’re gonna get together because we all really connect and we’d love it if you would come. I don’t know how many of them there were, but they wrote letters – this was back in the 70’s…
Lynn: Right, when people wrote letters…
Alaina: And I don’t have all the details, though she tells the story beautifully, but they wrote letters back and forth to Nichelle and said look, we’re gonna have a little get together. It wasn’t a convention, it was at some hotel in NY, it was a ‘get together.’
Lynn: [rapt] Right….
Alaina: And they said, if we can get enough people, we’d like to send you an airplane ticket and put you up in a hotel if you would come and meet us. And her and a few castmates were like of course! And then there were tons of people who ended up showing up.
Lynn: Because it was really popular, and didn’t they get it back on the air for a while?
Alaina: Yeah, with letters! And so that happened and that sort of created this fan world that happened, and then Gary and Adam were a part of that.
Lynn: They were really young too, they were like teenagers when they started this.
Alaina: Yeah I think like 14, it’s fascinating. And then my other side note on fangirling over Nichelle Nichols – my other favorite story she told me was about the kiss between her and Shatner.
Lynn: Oh the famous kiss, yes.
Alaina: Do you know the story? From what I was told by her, the network at the last minute wanted to pull the plug on it. They got nervous, and they were like, no, let’s do a hug.
Lynn: Um, yeah, not the same…
Alaina: Right? We’re gonna make this really big social movement, this civil rights movement…or maybe not. And so the story she told was that Shatner said ‘okay, we’ll get to the hug, let’s do the kiss first though, we’ll just get it out of the way. Okay, you got it? Then we’ll do any version of the hug that you want.’ So this was back in the day before video village, before any of that technical stuff. There was the camera, film; you had to check the gate. Young readers may not understand that we had film.  I remember when I started my career, we had film. And you’d have to re-roll sometimes, batteries died or whatever. So the story goes that they did the kiss, and then every take after that, Shatner went to hug her and leaned into the camera and crossed his eyes.
Lynn: So they couldn’t use it!
Alaina: [nodding] So that made all the takes unusable.
Lynn: OMG that’s amazing.
Alaina: Can you imagine how nervous that poor camera guy must have been? He must have been like I’m gonna get fired!
Lynn: What guts that took.  I guess he was the star; he was the only one who could have done that – but he did it.
Alaina: Even when the network didn’t want to do it. So I’ve met Shatner several times, and I have yet to verify that story with him, but that’s the story she told me and I love it, it’s one of my favorite stories ever.
Lynn: I only met him once, but I can believe it.
Alaina: Yeah, definitely.
Lynn: I mean, he’s friends with Misha. Rules? Who needs rules?
Alaina: Very clever, those two.
Lynn: That’s an amazing story.
Alaina: Isn’t that a good one? I love it. And it has a personal connection for me. The gay rights movement was also a really personal thing for me; I liken it to racial civil rights. Thirty years ago it wasn’t legal in a lot of states for me to marry my husband, you know?
Lynn: I know, that’s not even long ago.
Alaina: And even still, there are places that like frown upon it, and like, have you seen my kids, they’re really cute?
Lynn: They totally are.
Alaina: Like, look what happens when you mix things! So yeah, the gay rights thing was to me a really important movement for our culture and our society, and that again is a huge part of this fandom. And not just gay but all of it, LGBTQ, curious even.
Lynn:  Yeah, open.
Alaina: I’m really proud of the place we’re at with that. We still have work to do, but I love that straight people stand up for those rights and gay people fight for those rights, I love that it’s a cohesive thing.
Lynn: I was talking to Rob [Benedict] last week and asked him, do you know what a big deal it is that you got to play God as a bisexual, so validating. Robbie Thompson wrote that episode, and it was so amazing.  I give Supernatural a lot of credit – they didn’t just make a human bisexual…
Alaina: They made God bisexual! Woo, bam! It actually makes a lot of sense.
Lynn: It does. I do love this show.
Alaina: I’d like to touch on that too. I feel protective of writers because they’re real people, they don’t just write your favorite show, they’re people who are my friends. We had this happen a lot on Stargate; this is where I sort of started to realize that my friends would get all this shit for writing characters or things people didn’t like. And I was like wait a minute; these are the people who’ve brought you your favorite show for like 15 years!
Lynn: And wrote all those scenes that made you love it. Alaina: And created the characters that you love and that the actors got to play and you followed around the world to meet, and I feel like they deserve credit and respect and that sometimes they don’t get it. Jenny was the only female on the Supernatural staff for a very long time, and I think that was difficult at times. I am protective – Phil is amazing, as a producer and a champion for the show. They have that site, Shaving People Punting things
Lynn: I love every single thing they do on that!
Alaina: They’re so clever, right? So yeah, this is such a great talented group of people that are a part of this show, and I feel fortunate.
At that moment, Victoria returned to say that the SNS was about to begin.
Lynn: [scrambling for my phone] Okay hang on, I need to take pictures!
Victoria: Work it, work it!
As you can see, Alaina did.
Photo: Twitter
Alaina: I’m so glad we could finally do this!
Lynn: Me too! Have fun out there!
So what do you think, fandom? We definitely need more female directors, and I have a feeling Alaina should be one of them.
