It is so amazing, why don't you speak it more often? Imagine how pretty it would sound if you spoke it while happy!

Also, if you celebrate The Day of the Dead, you might have to explain what exactly "death, dead, and dying" are. Once they understand, though, they would probably like it! They would enjoy how The Day of the Dead serves as a reminder of the happy times with loved ones without the crushing atmosphere of a funeral.

That's what a children's show is all about, right? Learning! They also believe it will serve to make you more comfortable with them. I fucking love the implication that alhaitham doesn't know what swear words are because they don't exist in genshin, that's such a funny concept. like, does kaveh swearing catch on? does kaveh get credited for creating new words? do they reinterpret them to be positive so people say fuck as a good morning greeting? has alhaitham just never heard a swear word in his life? theres so many possibilities and all of them are equally funny, ur a great fic writer, I eagerly await the next update, but no pressure of course :D
LMAOOOO I HONESTLY DIDNT THINK AS FAR AS HOW IT WOULD AFFECT OTHER CHARACTERS BESIDES "what the hell is this idiot saying" i made a tumblr post way back of things i wanted to include in aiug and one of the top things on there was "curse words literally don't exist" i made a mistake in like chapter 3 i think where one of the fatui characters says hell and i was thinking hey does that technically count?? but a few days later after i thought about it i found out cheveruse says "go to hell" so its fine cuz its canon?! anyways now that i'm thinking about any side effects of kaveh swearing i'll definitely keep that in mind
(other characters dont curse also cause i make kaveh and any other isekai'd character (wink wink) curse way too much and i'm not trying to give any more vivziepop energy :P)
i'm looking forward to my next update too (i'm saying that like i'm not the one writing it) and it's so much better to write cause i'm not rewriting events that alr happened in previous chapters like chapter 5 <33 expect an update a lot sooner hopefully thank you so much for enjoying my writing it means a lot to me :))))

anilist: i follow a lot of people who read the same genres/demographics as i do (or people who just read a lot in general). this is how i find most of the stuff i read. it's easy + thanks to that you can find works that like 3 people know the existence of. how? if i really like a manga i go to its page on anilist, go to the social section and check some random accounts there who've also read it and i swear i've found so many anilist mutuals who have impeccable taste by doing that lol (and then i follow the people they follow and so on). i check anilist often so when i see someone reading smth that seems interesting, there it goes into my tbr. in anilist you also have a section at the bottom of a manga's page where people include works that they think are similar, i check that all the time as well.
manga accs: i follow manga accounts on twt that post manga recs or updates and i also get a LOT of stuff from there. you can find podcasts/youtubers that talk about manga by checking these accs as well. i don't have any to recommend myself tho bc i don't watch yt or listen to podcasts 🧍

in conclusion what i recommend the most (or what works the best for me) is checking those accs i've mentioned before and finding gay people in anilist with good taste 💯💯💯

Heeyyyyyy,
I'm remembering this blog exists 😂. I haven't been so active because I've been working on myself in therapy, making progress over all. I've been taking steps to focus on my health like seeing a doctor about things I've been dealing with for months but just been waiting to go away (they dont). This includes stuff like 24-48 hour headaches, TMJ and more stuff. The headaches make me unable to write entirely and happen very frequently.
Honestly, I'm just trying to embrace this terrifying but hopefully positive change that is being made in my perception of life and other stuff and hopefully taking the correct steps to move on in life and start living whilst also focusing on some skills and develop more healthy habits.
My followers are absolute sweethearts, so I know you guys are very supportive of me and are incredibly patient with me, and I thank you guys so very much for that constant support. Its a weird time in my life but you guys are a great comfort. ❤️
And I sincerely apologise if no one wanted a life update😅

ok this might come off rllyweird but i just wanna say i am looking so forward to ur webcomic like youve said stuff abt how oh no one will care and im not saying its gonna be the next billion dollar franchise but ok look. i go to a catholic high school and its absolutely miserable i hate it here but today i remembered ur blog exists and i was like oh i’ll see what she’s up to and from what ive seen i rlly like ur comic!!! it looks fun!!!!and i will wait 10 years for this comic to come out if i have to!!!! its very rare u see stories by women for women about women. and its bc of you and other feminist creators that ive been working on my own story actually (which i doubt is coming out anytime soon but we’ll see how it goes….). this probabaly spunds deranged or whatever idc at this point but i wanted to let you know. and i dont mean this in a “oh you should write it because I care about it” but i guess what i wanna say is that what you create matters for your own personal growth and maybe even for your audience no matter how small it is

if I’m honest, I’m not entirely sure what I want to do with it at this point. as of right now the first volume is under heavy editing and I still have to write the last one (and lightly edit the rest) so 10 years might be a reasonable timeframe lol.
on the one hand I feel a little bad for taking so long to produce even a single chapter, but on the other hand looking at my first draft compared to what I’ve got laid out after significant rewrites makes me think that it was probably a good idea to wait.

What happens if a human being tried to pick up a Mobian ring, do they just physically interact with the big golden donut or does it also disappear into sparkles and give them extra health?
Sort of answered in the past: basically humans just get less protection than the critter-people do, but they DO work decently. Rings function in-universe the same way they do in the games.

There's not exactly much I can answer about that, anon. If two characters likely don't talk or interact much... it wouldn't.. really be covered or acknowledged in a slice of life story. I mentioned most of everyone is on friendly-terms, but it's not like I have great, elaborate interactions with everyone planned. Hope that doesn’t sound dismissive, I just can’t really meaningfully answer this question besides, “yeah, I’d imagine”

1. Kinda the latter, sorta worked out the actual mechanics as the updates came. I knew the basic idea of “each card has an effect of some kind”, but beyond that the nuances were kinda Whatever until I really understood it later.
2. I can’t bring myself to hate Sonic characters.
3. I don’t mind at all! I don’t take a hard stance on shipping actually, most explicitly romantic content is commissioned by other people. I find meaningful relationships of all kinds to be equally important, so I think regardless my approach will work for most people.

(not sure if this will make sense bec im sleepy i apologize in advance if it's incomprehensible but) i CANNOT stop thinking about xiomara in contrast to zoe. like, specifically about how she's zoe's double but fiercely, viciously wants to live in spite of her existence as a doppelganger being regarded as an error, an anomaly, a bad omen, A Thing Which Was Not Supposed To Happen. & how she is both zoe and not zoe, where they both may line up perfectly and also where their motivations and methods (and, extension, morals) for achieving their goals or simply going through the world diverge. additional tangent -> doppelganger according to wikipedia (I had to look it up to make sure i wasn't confusing i with another word jfdfdhfdj<3) is a "biologically unrelated look alike or body double". thesaurus dot com defines doppelganger as "ghost" and the suggested synonyms are "apparition" "double" and "spirit". which makes me think of associated words -> copy? clone? shade? reflection? shadow? inverse? or, perhaps, zoe 2.0? 2.0 not meaning copy in this case but updated version, new version, Next Generation version. and how any of these interpretations could re-contextualize both the original and the doppelganger (or not). would any of these be applicable to xiomara? also (bonus normal question fdjskfjdsk) what is her favorite food if she has one? SHE wasn't the baby who ended up fixing it for kya, but if it had been ME, if it had been ME, maybe i would have been the difference. i would have been better, i would have saved our mother. she would have stayed, she would have loved us, she would have --
and THOSE journals are where xiomara finds her name.
so to answer ur question !! yes! i do think that the idea of xiomara being the 'updated' the 'better' version of zoe DOES fit her. is it true? im not 100% SURE. i think it's contextual, i think it's whoever you ask tbh. i also think that the words like 'reflection' and 'shadow' fit. heya i was just wondering if u have knowledge on how snapchat works. bc ive seen people saying its possible to retrieve the lost messages, and im wondering if that is the case why amanda hasn't done that? is it that it takes time to retrieve them? or maybe she has access to them but it is going to court so she can't speak on it / post it?
idk this state of not knowing is just awful id rather just have the bad news and leave entirely rather than be in this awful waiting period where i feel i want to leave but i can't until i know the truth. ive been trying to distance myself but its hard :c i hope ur doing as well as u can be, ur posts have been v reassuring to me in the past few days n i appreciate u a lot
hmmm i’ve never used snapchat in my life so i don’t have firsthand experience on what’s personally retrievable? i have seen a twitter thread where someone is able to pull a lot of data including chat logs in a very short period of time, BUT i don’t know if that’s possible in all scenarios and i don’t really want to speculate on why amanda didn’t do that— it’s worth keeping in the back of your mind for sure, but hyperanalyzing everything she does or doesn’t do just feels victim blame-y. (not accusing you of that btw anon! just explaining why i personally don’t feel comfortable). atp if the law is getting involved she likely wouldn’t be able to post them anyway, so it’s kind of a moot point
they would definitely be able to retrieve more through the legal process, though— snapchat’s info for law enforcement says that account records are saved and can be accessed through subpoenas. i’m not sure if the retrievable information would just be metadata— like the presence and time of messages, which would prove their existence but not content— or the actual snaps themselves. because memories exist i’m inclined to say the latter but idk. and only courts can issue subpoenas, so if they settle (i really don’t see them going all the way to court) it might again be moot. basically i’m not sure of anything LMFAO, I Am Not A Lawyer and all that, i just find this aspect of everything really interesting and that’s what i’ve found in my reading about it!
not knowing is the worst part, i 100% feel you. i wish i could just wake up when this is all over and deal with it then. but although i know i’ve been going on and on about knowing the facts and staying updated, you really don’t have to put yourself through this whole circus if you don’t want to, setting screen time limits and throwing yourself into other things can help a lot with forcing some separation. if it helps, i think the waiting will get easier— it just hasn’t had time to fade to the back of our minds yet, so every day feels like torture. take care of yourself! <3

Here is something that I just understood all of a sudden about the reason why we chose to come to earth.
If you have always been in heaven, you do feel loved and blessed every single day, yet you would never be able to experience heaven the way a soul who has gone through hardships would. They would certainly appreciate heaven way more and feel so much more blessed to be able to exist in heaven for the rest of eternity, as they have gone through hell where they never knew heaven could ever even exist for them. And the more extreme hardships they have gone through, the more blessed they would feel. Same as, if you want to FULLY experience the blessings of weath, you would not just choose a life where you are born into extreme weath and go with it until you die; you would want to choose a life staritng from extreme poverty and then all the way going into extreme wealth. The experience you have in that is someone who's born into wealth would never ever have. The more contrast you experience, the more blessed out you feel.
The contrast is so much more important and profound than what I have thought to be.
I have chosen a life to experience extreme loneliness for almost a decade before my spiritual awakening. I feel like a shooting star, from the bottom of my life where I felt completely left out, misunderstood, misfit, isolated, alienated everyone single moment, all the way up to overwhelming bliss where I understood and am embodying how connected and guided and fully understood I truly am. This contrast is so much more blissful than the heaven itself.
The happiest in heaven are not those who'are alway and forever in the positive end of the stick of polarity, but those who have gone through both.
With that understanding, now when I look at life, it is indeed all about more blessings and more fully understanding of love, and nothing else really.
A lifetime of suffering, even 100 lifetimes, in eternity is nothing more than a blink of an eye.
Looking at it this way, you really want to welcome more challenges in this short life as they really will help remind how much blessed you are when you're back home.

if its a memory wipe im killing myself Hope that helps BUT i also have a few reasons why i dont think it will be. a) i dont think the smp would be as enthusiastic as they seem to be for whatever dream has planned if it was a memory wipe. we can look at it from a passion/sentimentality point of “they care too much abt what theyve already put into the story/developing their characters” but even from a logic standpoint it makes no sense. no one on that server that very few ppl have motivation for would suddenly become excited at the idea of having to “start fresh” but not even genuinely start fresh as theyd still have to adhere to whats around them. plus having to remake dynamics that were heavily cc-based anyways takes so much effort specifically bc they would be different from the original lore which was build on, again, the ccs actual dynamics that evolved over time. i just dont see the ccs, esp someone like tommy for instance who has said hes excited for what dream has planned, to be motivated by any form of a memory wipe.
b) i feel like dream (cc) sees and understands the value in the dynamics that currently exist in the smp and wouldnt change and discard them to that extent, both as a storyteller/lorehead but also career/retention-wise. do i see him creating an event that fucks up/twists/moves around the dynamics? absolutely. completely amnesia tho? no. hes a smart guy and one of the people most invested in the lore (and probably the lore-based community as a result) he KNOWS what ppl like and what keeps them here and there no way he doesnt see the personalities, histories and evolved dynamics as what does that, at least partially
c) it would be too much work + wouldnt make people log on a lot or in massive crowds. usually what makes ppl log on both in large amounts and consistently is 1. a set goal/focus 2. knowing other ppl are on 3. being able to do what makes them comfortable. 1 and 2 are self explanatory but with 3 i mean that ppl who dont want to do lore/dont enjoy doing heavy intense lore where they have to be in character all the time would not like or be comfortable with a memory wipe where they have to pretend and stick to that basically the whole time, esp if they cant rmr each other. imagine someone like tubbo for instance wanting to slip into casualness and just play and half talk to chat half be involved and slipping up about the memory stuff and getting frustrated like thats super real. amnesia would be terrible for morale and is just too much investment for a ton of them and wouldnt motivate ppl to log on (at least in the long run)
ok now that ive explained myself about this: what do i think it could be
i am a huge believer in the apocalypse theory/things similar. it would be a perfect ripple in the dynamics currently set without damaging, eroding or erasing them. it also would be able to give a goal/focus for the ccs which is one of the biggest motivators for ppl logging on which is also part another motivator which is literally just ppl being there when u log on/logging on with u. and it also lets ppl interact with lore and intensely or casually as they want as there is nothing they have to commit to the whole time or force them to go in and out of “lore mode” awkwardly. they can do whatever they want and say whatever they want, it is just up to them how in character they want to be and they can hang out and be with whoever fits their vibes the best in that sense, or go back and forth.
it just does what the reboot/update SHOULD do: give purpose in playing again, refresh whats already there, make things less ridged, let ppl start fresh without actually starting fresh and most importantly: LETS PPL HAVE FUN! and whether fun is lore breathing into a mic for an hour or a chill mining stream to prepare for whatever the apocalypse has caused/is or just fucking with your friends—this specific kind of reboot lets all of those co-exist if they want it to.
as for ur ideas: in my heart of hearts i dont want to believe it but the “im going to make ur life a living hell etc” line seems to be referencing the boy who cried wolf plot which is. Dead in the ground i fear <- says through gritted teeth. i would LOVEEEEEE if that line became important again but i just feel like all its implications have kind of been abandoned, at least what they used to be. and about ppl mostly liking cdream hmmm ….. i dont know how much that will play a role if things got rebooted, especially regarding ctommy. i dont think anything like final disc finale but with cdream and ctommys role reversed will happen. no one/not enough ppl on the server is cdreampilled OR ctommynegpilled enough for anything like that. plus a big fight wouldnt cause this much excitement (although i do wonder if the revamp is partially pvp based bc with how excited cctommy sounded about it, it definitely could be. thats something he rly enjoys and likes about minecraft and dsmp like he mentioned it in the tribute video (like the battles he had with dream being his fav)). that last point IS interesting tho hmmm ….. maybe it was just stating a fact rather than it being foreshadowing? although cdream hasnt used cwilbur enough as leverage for me to think theyre done/didnt have anything else planned for that. either way tho, im not sure how much that involves the update since i think for it to make EVERYONE excited, it has to be something that involves the entire smp/affects it all/everyone, not just the big three
