I don’t know much about chemistry but I’m pretty sure if you throw a capsule of hydrogen into a fire the resulting explosion will kill everyone in that room including you. So when ‘Glass Onion’ did the flashback to Benoit Blanc handing Janelle Monae the hydrogen fuel I fully thought the reveal was basically him going “you go girl!!! Kill yourself <3” which I thought was fucking insane but also really bold. Had that ‘holy shit!! But okay, slay’ energy that ‘Barry’ does so well. Imagine my disappointment when it turns out all the explosion did was set one (1) painting and a few cushions on fire. Honestly that’s my biggest complaint about that film, they could have had something absolutely buckwild and they chickened out at the last minute

expanding on yuki’s idea⎯i think suguru hated jujutsu sorcerers more than the weak, but he struggled to differentiate these feelings all the way till that fight with yuuta and rika. it’s almost like the non sorcerers became a scapegoat for him⎯what nanako and mimiko went through was horrific, yes, and the non sorcerers were responsible but how many similar cases did jujutsu society and its elitist trifecta ignore? yes, the non sorcerers were weak and fell prey to that hive mind in a cult, but wouldn’t they riko they got to know have died during the merger? yes, toji went too far and he killed without meaning but early gojo and geto were pretty reckless in forgetting curtains and limiting the blast radius.
growing up was always suguru’s weakness and he never figured this out⎯he simply fell through the cracks.

He sat on the throne, watching guards rush around. They hurried with purpose, intent. Ready to fight the guardians that came to their doorstep.
Blasts of explosions rocked the palace, the king raised his spear. Ready to defend his home.
Zelda, I'm sorry my dear daughter. I could not protect you. Please Link, I pray that you can save my child. He thought, as the doors were blasted open and malice started to craw inside. Guardians rushed in and blasted everything. Monsters swarmed like a pack.
It was only them. A king and a god.
Standing across in battle. You know the outcome perhaps, and so did the king. He prayed for the hero, wielder of the master sword, so he may protect his daughter.
He protected his castle, and ultimately, died within.
But it would not end. His courage and confidence allowed him to await for you, dear hero.
He has protected this land for a hundred years. Waiting until you awoke in that small room.
The malice knew, once they saw the girl. She had awakened. It knew it had to get rid of the dangers. The champions, the king, the guards.
So it did. It didn't expect for them to continue protecting the land, however.
It was its ultimate downfall.
