I DM'd for the first time on saturday and who decided that it was reasonable for one of the starting quests of dragon of icespire peak to have the party possibly fight a manticore um i mean the party lived because tasha's hideous laughter is a spell that exists and i'm cursed to forever roll dogshit on wisdom saves i think (though it was probably a blessing in this situation) but what the fuck why would you have a possibly level 1 party encounter a CR 3 enemy hello

wizards of the coast is so good at balancing (<- lying)

#i was so scared for them #got traumatic flashbacks to when my strixhaven party had to fight a giant scorpion and we almost died #and that was at level 3 #we were missing a party member but still we were level 3 and saw god #they tried reasoning with it but it wasn't going well but y'know #they were fine #they pelted it with many arrows and many crossbow bolts #also the group rolled 10s for damage like 5 times in a row which is astonishing #the fight wasn't really a challenge but it did scare the ever living hell out of them so i think it meant it was effective #i wasn't planning on having us do all of that but we speedran all the session 0 stuff #like in a little less than an hour #so i was just like “soo do we wanna end it here or do we wanna start exploring the town”#and i thought they'd explore a bit and then pick a quest for next session but nope #speedrun #dnd #dungeons and dragons #d&d #dungeons & dragons

Honestly, being a nice chatter in League is so funny. I got autofilled into jungle against an enemy team with mastery points in the millions. Died due to invades twice times in the first minute and a half. Wrote "I just wanna play my skin T_T" and overall joked about my complete inability to do ANYTHING that game.

the enemy viego felt so bad for me he promised not to kill me anymore, and at the very end he just stood in front of our open nexus, giving me advice on how jungle works, what to pay attention to etc, wishing me luck and to enjoy the skin. I was truly so pitiful they didn't end the game to give the sad wet little support main in jungle advice. It was absolutely hysterical.

#I'm not joking I did less than 800 damage. Not 800k. 800. That entire game. I ended 0/10/1 #Genuinely the worst game I ever had. I had a lot better games in jungle before (all two of them lmao) but this one was just impossible #I was in slight hysterics by minute 10 bc I really just. Couldn't do shit. My jungle was cleared by viego #One lane losing two struggling #I go anywhere and get picked off. Having the viego write 'hey kayn I'm starting to feel bad' was so funny #His advice was super useful actually. Even my friends said 'oh shit I didn't even know that' abt jungle camp Cs stuff #It was really sweet #In the meantime the rest of our teams realized a bunch speak German so they talked about Döner prices lmao #Super wholesome game despite. The everything #Also I always write gl hf :D beforehqnd and that makes people sooo much more approachable #Some people are dicks but that never stops me #Most of the time they get clowned on by their own team real quick for being an asshole for no reason #My friends are continually baffled by my chipper attitude towards league chat lmao. Listened to The Stupendium’s “Neath!” enough to say “ah fuck it. Let’s make an oc out of this song.”

His name’s Cyrmic. Sometimes people just call him Ol’ Danderdilly. A bit of a curious existence— one that was believed to have such low odds that it was almost considered impossible, as he is half human and half cryptid!

In Bliss (which he’s debatably canon to it, not a whole lot of development has gone into his relevance, but he wouldn’t even be a considered character in the first act(??) but likely in a later act.), as long as both parties can consent and the cryptid is sentient (because it’s likely that there are cryptids that have mindsets closer to humans and others closer to animals) than a human and a cryptid can peruse a relationship. By default, humans and cryptids are not compatible to reproduce— but the gene for cryptids does in fact exist. It’s just a rarity. Most who do bare the gene usually don’t end up courting with a human for either the obvious reasons, don’t even end up with a human (which is more common than not) or just decide not to have a relationship at all. It’s a mixed bag.

However, in Cyrmic’s case, his cryptic parent did in fact bare the gene when courting with a human— and learned that the hard way. What kept them optimistic about it, we don’t know. Regardless, Cyrmic exists now. Not much going back on that.

Known to be kind of a peculiar character, Cyrmic plays the role of an oddball with a fascination for all things old-timey. He leaves a questionable taste in other’s mouths with his somewhat intimidating demeanor that’s both charming and suspicious which is reflected on his gestures and dignified dialect. Some people are led to believe he might be plotting something. But maybe they’re just not used to seeing something considerable as an eighth wonder. He’s not really trying to scare people. He’s just like that in general, and he genuinely means well!

But all in all, he’s looking for someone to love. Someone he can settle down with that can humor his curious point of view.

Assuming someone gets unlucky and fails each 50/50, and hits hard pity every time (starting from 0 pity), I've got a calculation of how many primos/wishes maximum it would cost to C6 a limited banner character. Primos: 201600 Wishes: 1260 (This is also assuming they start with not having the character)

AKA: I think you have a decent shot at getting at least C3 Baizhu :)
