Paralyze.

Chapter 71

Now I was taking a shower, a cold one.

Katsuki was lying fast asleep on my bed after I changed into some of my clothes. I bit my bottom lip and sighed, stepping out of the shower, drying my body and getting dressed in my nightwear.

Any minute now dinner will be ready. But while I waited, I walked out of my bathroom and sat on my desk chair, grabbed my phone and kept practicing for a while.

When I was about to practice one more time my phone vibrated in my hand.

BunnyZuku;

Dinner's ready, (M/n)-kun :)!

;Thank you, Izuku! I'll be there in a few.

I got up from my chair so I could wake Katsuki up, but my screen lit up with another message, this time it was from Eijiro.

Ei-kun;

Dude, seriously, where's Bakugou?

I hesitated for a bit, thinking of what I should reply, but I decided to be -half- honest.

;He's in my room now, Eijiro. We'll be downstairs in a bit.

Oh! Okay!

I sighed once again, and placed my phone down on my bed, leaning down to wake up my boyfriend. "Katsuki."

My left hand rested on his hair, stroking his scalp softly. Katsuki groaned, turning around to face me, his relaxed expression was replaced with a slight frown, joining his eyebrows together. I knelt on the ground by my bed, reached up with my right hand and I placed it on his cheek, caressing under his eye with my thumb.

"Wake up, love, dinner's ready." His eyes fluttered open, the glossy crimson gaze he was sending my way made me shiver and I felt a heat rising to my face.

"(M.../n...)?" I smiled at him and left a peck on his forehead. He blushed and smiled too.

"Come on," I let go of his hair and cheek, holding his hands instead, standing up and raising him with me.

Katsuki stood on his feet, a small wobble on his stance, but I helped him stand. As soon as Katsuki was correctly balanced, he noticed the big maroon hoodie he had on.

"You dressed me..." I chuckled and messed with his spiky hair, he tsked and held my wrist, pulling it down.

"I wasn't going to let you sleep with your stained tank top on." The very moment I finished my sentence, Katsuki's face turned red.

He seemed to have just remembered what happened like an hour ago.

"W-well uh... y-you said something about ddinner, right? L-let's go then..." he stuttered and walked away, almost tripping over invisible objects. He held the doorknob and pushed it down, opening the door.

Katsuki walked out on his own, but he abruptly stopped right outside my door, glancing at me from the corner of his eye.

"Are you coming or what...?" Katsuki played with his fingers, squirming around in his place and I just shrieked internally.

Without thinking, I dashed right at him, holding him by his waist and spinning him around for a few seconds. Katsuki gasped and cursed at me to put him down, which I did, but after he threatened to explode my entire existence.

I closed my dorm door, and we walked to the elevator in silence. The ride down to the common room was the same, and as soon as we hopped off the square metal box, Katsuki was surrounded by Eijiro, Kaminari and Mina.

"Bakugou, you said you'll help us study!" The three of them exclaimed in unison, but they failed to notice -or completely ignored- Katsuki's rage.

He was shaking and gritting his teeth, how did they not notice?

But, ignoring them, I turned and looked around, searching for an empty seat. Which I found, thanks to Izuku waving at me.

I signalled him to wait for a minute, and I stared at Katsuki, trying to get his attention. "What?"

A snicker got past my lips at his harsh voice, but I just shrugged it off, already knowing Katsuki's behaviour pattern, "I'll be with the 'Dekusquad' for a while, enjoy your time being a temporary teacher, Katsuki."

He still seemed angry, but he just growled at me with a sneer and I nodded once, watching him walk to a different table where Sero was sitting, surrounded by food trays. I just chuckled and walked towards Izuku, where a food tray was waiting for me.

I greeted everyone here -Tsuyu, Uraraka, Iida and Shouto- with a nod and a small grin, sitting down next to the curly-haired greenette.

I talked with Izuku, occasionally with Shouto and Iida, during the whole duration of the dinner. And all the while I never missed Katsuki's yelling and cursing, at least during the first ten minutes because then he exclaimed something along the lines of 'Come to my room later, assholes! Now, shut the fuck up!'

Well, that was how dinner went by.

The next morning, everyone seemed kinda tired but also determined to keep practicing, while I...

Well, I was falling asleep even though I was standing.

Last night while Katsuki was helping three idiots with their studying, I had been up and rehearsing the song a bit more. Not gonna lie, I was really nervous about having to sing in front of a crowd. That was the first and second reason as to why I was so tired this morning.

My mind raced with all sorts of negative outcomes, and when I realized the time, I only had three hours to sleep.

That's why Katsuki was poking my face every once in a while. That dumbass also popped tiny explosions right next to my ear, laughing in my face when I would almost jump out of my skin.

But after breakfast, we had class, and then discussed some things before practicing again.

And now, during one reunion after class, Mina came back with a tuxedo blazer on, wearing a pair of sunglasses... and some of the dance team members were behind her, with a gloomy aura.

I had no idea what she was doing.

But she called out to Izuku, who looked at her with his usual nervous smile.

"Midoriya... you're out..."

Mina, could you elaborate on your words, please? Because Izuku seems ready to die.

Saying this here too but it’s the sheer fact that Hori didn’t even draw Deku cosplaying as Mirko as a gag (which he could’ve easily done) like Todo and Kiri. IZUKU LOOKS GOOD AND HORI KNOWS and I’m loving this reinforcement of the bunnyzuku agenda. Happy year of the rabbit FR 2023 is HIS YEAR
