If you're not reading the Buffy the Vampire Slayer comics, I get it, sure, it's got a lot of crazy ass storylines many people won't like, but just know you are missing out in the absolute silliness and hilarity that is Spike and Xander being roommates and adopting a bunch of kittens.

Haaaven’t changed my avatar on here in ages, because, uh, “brand recognition” purposes between the different websites, I guess.

But.

Spike’s a kitten-dad now. The comics gave me this image. And I adore it. And then the plot reveals it’s not just him gambling kittens away, it is him rescuing kittens from kitten poker. And adopting them.

I’m soft for my soft boy, so for the unforseeable future, Takara the fire-fox has to make room for Spike the cat dad.

Teenage Dream, Past Meets Future - edit and prompt

S4. One minute Ian’s dancing in a club, the next minute it feels like everything has turned upside down - because he’s back in the Kash and Grab and Mickey’s asking him to a sleepover.

S8. Mickey thinks it’s the result of loneliness in Mexico and drinking too much, that must be why he’s having these really vivid visions? dreams? of him and Ian married and living together.

After saying goodbye at the border to Mexico, one of them ends up in their future body - s10/s11/post-finale - but will the other believe that they’re from the past?

S5 Ian wishes he never got together with Mickey so that he wouldn’t cause him so much heartache. What happens when he finds himself back in his s1/2/3 body in a world where he and Mickey are practically strangers?

S7. Mickey’s just trying to escape from jail and go on the run with Ian, but he keeps repeating the same day over and over again. Is he ever going to get past this day?

S11. They need to get better at communicating now that they’re married and it turns out getting stuck in a time loop and repeating the same day over and over again allows them to slowly get better at communication. (Could be the day of the monogamy conversation or the fight in the alibi or the day of their anniversary and the baby conversation or the apartment signing day)

S2. Ian would have thought that if he had to repeat the same day over and over again, it would be easy to stop Frank from walking in on them, all he had to do was lock the door. But somehow, something always keeps managing to go wrong - and things always end up bad between Ian and Mickey. Can Ian work out how to get things back on track?

Vaguely inspired by a BTVS episode: Ian is about to marry (Caleb or Trevor or an OC) when he gets a visit from an older man who claims to be a future version of himself. Ian is more than skeptical but the man knows things that only Ian would know. And more than that, he claims that Ian is about to make a huge mistake and that it’s Mickey he needs to marry. But Ian hasn’t seen Mickey in years….

Or same as above except Ian never met Mickey and the older version of himself tells him the man who is his true love is currently sitting in prison a year away from being released. Ian doesn’t know what to do with this information but surely there’s no harm in becoming a prison pen pal for this guy, Mickey.

One of them gets sent back to the past BUT they are in the other one’s body.

Mickey doesn’t have any friends in Mexico but he supposes the closest thing is a young woman who claims to also be from the Southside of Chicago. He doesn’t believe her, he also doesn’t believe she’s got special powers like she claims. But he doesn’t speak enough Spanish yet to hang out with anyone else. She offers him a chance to go back and relive 3 different days from his past and do things differently. It won’t change the present or the future but it might give him some closure. What the fuck is Mickey going to do with closure? But then again, what’s he got to lose?

One of them gets sent back to the past because something bad happens and they need to change things so it doesn’t happen. Only thing is, their memory of the future starts to fade as soon as they enter their past body. Will they remember what they need to change? Or will they just think they’re having a bad case of deja vu?

S1. Ian doesn’t know what happened, one minute Mickey Milkovich is trying to kill him and then suddenly Ian is a few days in the future. But that’s not the weirdest thing….the weirdest thing is that Mickey is trying to hook up with him?!
