Hi Guys

Hey everyone! It's been a long time, and while I'm not sure if any of you will actually say this I figured I would put out an official statement about my fics bc they were pretty popular and still get likes and repost even if I havent posted here for I don't even know how long at this point.

I likely won't be continuing to write my Sokka x Reader series, Allies/Home is where the Heart is, since at the time I was at my peak for writing it, I was in a very bad relationship and just a bad point in my life in general and every time I even try to think about touching that fic again, it reminds me of those times, and for anyone who's dealt with similar experience you can know how hard that is.

I won't make any promises that I'll continue writing here at all, but if I ever get the chance I may pick up Light Blue Tattoos again, since it's been on my mind a lot recently, and even if I was writing it at the same time as Allies, it doesn't hold those bad ties for me that Allies does. I've always been a bit more connected to TLOK then ATLA anyways.

Regardless of if I do end up continuing writing here or not, I want to thank you guys for the support you gave me on my writing, and that I still continue to get!

I'm sorry to those who were invested in Allies, since it was a pretty long going series and I finished the first season of ATLA in writing, honestly it's pretty hard to let go of with all the time and effort I committed to it, but it's better for my health to leave it behind. With Light Blue Tattoos, I don't feel the need to push myself back in that bad time, but I feel like I can't write Allies properly anymore if I don't do that. And I can't do that to myself, or my girlfriend.

Again, thank you guys for the support, and if I do end up getting the chance and motivation to pick up Light Blue Tattoos again, I'll see you then <3 Have a great day guys!

I have conflicting thoughts about the idea that in terms of danger with regards to being transphobic that cis men are the only demographic trans people ought to fear. On the one hand, I think that if we're talking about physical violence, cis men would be more likely to resort to such a response. But I don't think it's accurate to take that and then go, "so cis women are inherently safe (or safer)!"

Remember, transphobia isn't just physical violence, nor does it always manifest as such.

When I think about the people who were most vitriolicly transphobic, it wasn't just cis women or cis men - it was both. I think another added layer is that I'm a trans man, and so it's assumed that I should never feel in danger, nor should I expect to be taken seriously when I don't feel safe.

My point isn't to say that cis women are more dangerous than cis men. My point is that I notice a trend where people assume that transphobia is only cis men's problem to deal with and not a problem for all cis people to deal with. If you assume that only one "type" of cis person (that isn't in your group) must bear the brunt of fixing the transphobia issue, you will likely harbour your own transphobic beliefs or practices.

Hello folks !! My apologies for the radio silence, I've been working very hard on a comic for a magical girl anthology! My comic will feature my ancient OC Kameko as an adult in her late twenties, I'm having a blast working on this :) ✨

ok like 1 of my mutuals will know what i'm talking about but i NEED to talk about what an unintentional trans metaphor the main cast was in Super Powereds. Like, there's the obvious transition element- the 5 of them go through a medical procedure that, despite them genetically being Powereds, functionally turns them into Supers. And this has an immediate and significant positive impact on their mental health and social functioning.

But even beyond that- throughout the first book they have to go stealth, because people finding out about that transition would pose a risk to their safety. When they're forcibly outed, several of their friends get mad because they felt entitled to know this detail about them, despite it having quite literally 0 impact on them or their friendships. Dean Blaine notes that part of why people react so negatively is because society has developed around the binary system of supereds vs powereds, and their mere existence threatens that.

And what particularly hits for me is that their decision to transition didn't have anything to do with that kind of societal change. They made a personal decision to improve their own well-being, and the world decided to take issue with it.
