Introducing my new Courier, Hudson!! Defining traits are cowboy, mama’s boy, and tragic amnesiac.

His mother stitched his name onto his hat, which is the only reason he remembers it in Doc. Mitchell’s office. Believing that his mother was waiting for his pay back home, he sets off to find the platinum chip, not realizing until later, when speaking to Benny (who knew Hudson’s mother, due to the fact she was a gambler) that she had been murdered by the Legion two entire years prior, and Hudson had gotten a job at the Mojave Express so he could gather enough funds to take revenge.

Anyway his story will definitely get more fleshed out as I get further into the game but I’m already having a lot of fun with him! Other fun facts about him: he was a bighorn rancher and tamed one to help him with his deliveries. He finds it in the wastes with the saddle still on and almost shoots it when it runs towards him. He lassoed Benny in the Lucky 38 to keep him from running away and broke his nose cuz he slammed into the floor so hard. And he’s also EXTREMELY susceptible to sunburns, which is why he’s mostly covered head to toe. His mom used to make him radaway salves to help when the UV was too high :’)

From the top!#In looking at the old doodle with a blushy Papyrus it looks like the only thing I ''redrew'' about it was the blush itself lol #And being a bit smiley #He's very cute when he's so distracted in battle haha leave him be he's very busy!#The second one was so fun! I was very stylistic with his lower jaw in the original :D The way he looks like an interlocked puzzle piece haha #I trust him he's definitely got this handled #Colour doodles! Red and blue boys! Tall and short long and stout <3 Love 'em #My two favourite colour tools my blood pen and my blue pencil ♪ I could've gone in with my various yellows but pfsh #A nice clean two-colour is very nice :) Or in Sans' case just blue haha #I was using the same blood pen in the original too! Love them ;; That one was originally meant to be a comic panel but I got their posing wrong lol I misremembered #But they turned out so cute! Look at them!#I especially like Sans' super-glowing eye in the shade of Papyrus <3 Sweet lads #And a couple sleepy boys to practice skeletal profiles :) Nose? Teeth? They have a subtle silhouette but there are varying shapes!#I defaulted to a more chibi look on Sans tho haha his fused jaw and big eyes just give that kind of appearance ♪

Criminally Underused Bird Nicknames for Jaskier

I love "Lark" as much as the next Witcher fic reader, but there are so many more options we could explore! Here are a few:

Jay / Bluejay This one has excellent potential because 1) jays are incredibly beautiful, colorful, intelligent, and social and 2) their songs are terrible. (Examples here, here, and here.) As such, it'd be perfect for a fond-yet-teasing nickname for Jaskier. Plus, it sounds like the first letter of his name!

Magpie Magpies are corvids like jays, so they're similar in many ways. This one has the extra connotations of collecting shiny things for bonus fun teasing <3

Sparrow Sparrows have lovely songs! They tend not to be very colorful, but they're very cute and the name sounds endearing. I've seen this one used in fic occasionally and I like it!

Sanderling Sanderling is an adorable name for an adorable bird -- they're little sandpipers that run around on beaches! It works perfectly as a reference to Jaskier's role as the Sandpiper and I think it's really sweet.

Peep Peep is a general term for the smallest few species of sandpipers (they're hard to identify at the species level, so calling them peeps is most convenient). It's similar to Sanderling in that it references Jaskier's role as the Sandpiper and sounds adorable!

Bonus: Songbird I have seen this one used in a few fics and I love it every time! It's vague enough to let you imagine whichever bird you want while also sounding very sweet.

Extra options include, but are not limited to: warbler, finch/goldfinch, nightengale, robin, kinglet, titmouse, mockingbird, and starling.

AMOW Winter Whumperland 2022

I haven't given myself time to do every day this year, but I was very excited about this one. Presenting, Riot Kings BBU AU! Details+ more art under the cut. I overthought this one lol

In this AU, Melchior leads a well-intentioned extremist pet lib group that has a tendency to cause a lot of collateral damage. He's turned over to the WRU in an assisted walk-in by a detective with a personal grudge, and purchased by that same detective.

Jin, another detective who was working to catch the Riot Kings, stumbles upon Melchior (who's been missing for about a year) at a party when his owner gets drunk and starts showing off. Jin is understandably disgusted by this, and against his better judgement, smuggles Mel home.

Nabi is a psychology student who shares an apartment with her brother. (Not psychic, just scarily good at reading people). She volunteers at a local safehouse, but due to Melchior's criminal history, he's unable to stay there. Still, the siblings do their best to hide him on their own, getting help from a few individuals who are sympathetic to the situation.

(Mercury is a handler at WRU. The primary whumper in this AU is based on a one-off whumper in a scene I cut from Riot Kings)
