Ikumi Mito from Food Wars 🥩🔪🇺🇸 I remember the first time I tried to create this look and I kept flashing out with the camera and the blonde hair. 😭 I came a long way with learning how to make it look less ashy. This was probably one of my fav looks I’ve ever done. I felt like such a bad bitch fr sjdjd. I was so proud of her (and then TikTok literally banned it bc of the knife ☠️)

It's weird being the same age as a character that resonated with you when you were younger. Granted I'm 28 and in this time skip look Nico is 30 (which means I'll be her age again soon), but still. Doing this made me remember this little white boy who called me D.D (devils daughter) in elementary school. I don't over-romanticize my younger self and know that I was a jerk sometimes, but I know almost definitively that I didn't do anything to that kid. I mostly remember this because it amuses me as an adult and didn't bother me as a child, not because it traumatized me. Can't say this is why Nico Robin became one of my favs (it was more likely the depression), but it's something to reflect on. I took more pictures than this, but maybe I'll share more later.
