oh god okay. if something i write here contradicts something I wrote in dms, this is now canon. since its public- uhm. (this is how madoka ended up from 18 to 24 LOL)
Ask Game!
arsene: has your oc ever been wronged by those around them? how bad was it? does it still affect them?
Madoka considers what they've gone through to be "not that bad". They try not to think about how isolation from their peers led to their current lifestyle. They try not to think about how the expectations from their family has isolated them. They try not to think about the small acts of injustice a person may suffer day to day. Its the whispers, the "not enough", the way they differ from those around them. How could it not affect them?
zorro: does your oc remember their past, if they have one? do they miss it? how do they feel about it?
As a result of their parents often dismissing them and what they had to say, Madoka has suffered a disconnect between reality and how they see the world. They remember their past in the way you might remember snippets of a show or a movie. They aren't sure whats real, or made up, or just a dream.
captain kidd: does your oc have any scars or injuries? where do they come from? have they healed? how do they feel about them?
They have a scar on their right eyebrow from where their eyebrow piercing got ripped out. they also have a bunch of tiny scars all over their fingers and palms from mishandling cooking utensils. They don't really care about them.
carmen: what's your oc's relationship with their own body, in general? do they have any true confidence in their own appearance?
Madoka doesn't see their body as theirs. Its just a vessel, something they pilot. They are completely indifferent to something that doesn't belong to them.
goemon: is your oc partial to the arts? which ones? do they actually partake in them? do they see meaning in them?
they play a lot of video games and they write poetry! they understand the arts, and they see the necessity in them. But to Madoka, its just a way to pass the time.
johanna: what are your oc's religious beliefs, if they have any? are these beliefs commonplace where they live? do they practice this religion?
Madoka isn't religious? I never really thought about it. I don't think they care that much. They'd probably be polytheist after all this shit though
necronomicon: is your oc skilled with technology? to what extent? is it appreciated by the people around them?
Incredibly. Madoka is really only second to Futaba but even then they could be on par if Madoka wasn't busy with their studies. And no, it isn't appreciated.
milady: does your oc come from wealth, poverty, or somewhere in between? what's their current situation with wealth? how'd their economic upbringing affect their current personality?
Like lower middle class? They're the first one in their family to get into a good university. It definitely didn't help the expectations thing.
robin hood: did your oc have any childhood heroes, real or fictional? do they still look up to them now? why?
There was this upperclassman in their school that they always thought was so cool.. though at some point he just stopped coming to school so.. Madoka honestly wouldn't remember him anymore, which is kind of sad.
cendrillon: what's your oc's relationship with sports? what affects it?
HATES THEM. They were never good at them and they have bad lungs.
azathoth: what formal education has your oc received? what other forms of education? do they have any relation to academia?
They're currently studying bioforensics! They fucking hate academia, but they want to make a difference.
satanael: has the system failed your oc? are they at a societal disadvantage? do they wish they could change it? would they? at what cost?
All things considered, they're doing okay. Again, they don't consider what they've been through to be that bad. They're not at any disadvantage. Nothing really matters.
mercurius: does your oc believe in hope? in resilience? when everything seems doomed, what do they cling to, if they do at all?
Yes they do. They have to, especially at the end. Hope and resilience is important, it keeps people going.
seiten taisei: does your oc feel indebted to anyone? who? could they ever pay that debt back? do they really have to?
All of the phantoms I think! They all helped Madoka come to terms with themself. But they don't see it as a debt to pay back. They know they don't have to.
hecate: what's your oc's experience with sexuality? how do they feel about it? do they wish they could change it?
Madoka always knew something was different about them. Gender, attraction, their body. They felt things were off, and they never really.. Experimented or explored that. Stunted growth (,: can't change what you don't really know
kamu susano-o: what's your oc's true passion? how do they pursue it? how did they acquire it? at what cost does it come?
Helping others. Changing the world means something to them. Its why they're a tutor, they like helping others.. No matter how introverted and isolated they may be. It often comes at the cost of their own comfort though.
anat: where's your oc's self esteem at? high? low? why? what, or who, does it depend on?
Its SO low. And it depends entirely on themself. Its a bad cycle they're stuck in.
prometheus: how does your oc cope with guilt? with loss? with loneliness? are they able to reach out to others for help?
Madoka's inability to reach out to others for help is what got them stuck where they were. They couldn't rely on anyone, on anything. It ate at them, some self inflicted guilt. Its really unfortunate.
astarte: how does your oc feel about their bloodline? their parents? do they have a legacy to uphold?
Bloodlines don't mean anything to them. They'll make their OWN legacy. They don't even.. really talk to their parents anymore..
loki: does your oc believe in revenge? in retributive justice? in punishment? at what cost? for whom?
Yes. That's why they're so determined to set things right with the world. They know the justice system will just blame whoever so they have someone to blame. And that isn't right, not when those who are really hurting others are getting away with it.
vanadis: has your oc ever lost someone they loved? an equal? how do they feel about this person? do they wanna go back to before the loss?
Just themself.
adam kadmon: does your oc yearn for control? why? of what? do they have it, could they ever have it? should they be in control?
Yes! Madoka wants control. That's why they're on their own. Its the only thing they can control, themself. Even if they don't quite feel real or there. They want to be the one holding the strings, please.

Okay so i just have to say...I was in the library when I saw the post about the Deep Impact AU sequel and I actually legit started flailing. I looked at the screen, saw what it was, then started flopping around in my seat. My friend was watching something for her class but thoroughly enjoyed her friend practically seizing with joy. I am SO happy! I fell in love with this series and I was so excited to read it and now its here and I'm just *SCREAMS* Thank you!!!!

For some reason this prompt list has me spending a lot of time thinking about fs having a baby so I hope you're okay with the direction I took this.

Baby fic 1 Baby fic 2
Jemma purses her lips slightly before puckering them into the mirror. She leans back to inspect the outcome of all her work.
“Perfect,” she whispers as her eyes roam over the curls that now frame her face before flitting over her makeup.
It’s their first time really going out since Daniel was born, fancy parties are not common in the spy life unless one is attending them undercover. Somehow she thinks it’s more fun to get dressed up for a party when she’s actually an invited guest.
“Jemma,” she hears Fitz call from outside the bathroom, “come see your handsome men all dressed up.” An hour ago, she had jumped up when she heard signs of Daniel waking up but Fitz had forced her into their bedroom to get ready instead. As much as she had relished that time alone, she is worried about just what she is going to find when she opens that door.
Jemma gets up from her vanity and crosses the small bathroom, pauses a second and then opens the door- and she laughs.
Fitz is standing at the end of their bed- dressed in her favorite suit with the tie that matches his eyes- and in his arms, Daniel looks like a miniature version of his father with a shirt to match Fitz’s tie and a tiny black waistcoat.
“Hey! What’s so funny?” Fitz asks, bouncing slightly as Daniel gets a little fussy.
“Nothing, love,” Jemma says quietly, leaning against the door frame. “I’m just surprised, that’s all.”
“What? Didn’t think I could dress my own son without mucking it up?”
“I never said that,” Jemma says, holding her hand up to cover her growing smirk.
“Mhmm. You didn’t have to,” Fitz grumbles even as his smile gives him away.
“I’m sorry,” Jemma sighs. “Now bring your pretty little butt over here so I can kiss you.”
“Are you talking to me or Daniel?” Fitz asks, making faces at his son.
“Well...” Jemma shrugs.
“Alright, alright,” Fitz sighs. “Let’s see if our little guy can make it on his own,” he coos, bouncing Daniel in the air before setting him carefully on his own feet and pointing him toward Jemma. “Can you walk to Mama, Daniel? Walk to Mama,” Fitz whispers, keeping his hands steady until Daniel moves to wobble across the small distance between them.
“Come on, sweetheart,” Jemma cheers quietly as she bends down to open her arms to her son. “Look at our little walker go!” she pretends to yell as he topples into her arms before she peppers his small cheeks with light kisses. “He’s growing so fast,” she laments, meeting Fitz’s eyes as they both rise to their feet.
“He looks more like you every day,” Fitz smiles, coming to stand next to Jemma so that he can put his arm around her.
“Well scientifically speaking-” Jemma starts before Fitz cuts her off with a kiss of his own. “Well, excuse me,” she huffs after he pulls away.
“I believe I was asked for a kiss,” he explains. “Besides, you’ve explained that bit of science before, remember?” he chides as he turns to the bed to retrieve their coats.
“Oh, we’d better get going,” Jemma says, ignoring his question. “If we don’t leave now, we’ll be late for the party.”
“Can’t have that can we?” Fitz asks, his attention returning to Daniel. “We wouldn’t want to mess up Mummy’s reputation for promptness, now would we?”
“Oh, Fitz,” Jemma sighs. “Now can we please go?”
“Just one more thing,” Fitz says, pulling Daniel back into his arms.
“And what’s that?”
“You look absolutely, beautiful, Jem. I just had to make sure I told you that before we left.” Jemma blushes at his words and she smiles as Daniel babbles something in her direction. “I believe that was him agreeing with me,” Fitz laughs.
“I think he was actually commending you for how you dressed him,” Jemma replies.
“So does that mean you’ll let me dress him more often?” Fitz jokes, taking her arm in his own and leading her out into the hallway.
“Don’t count on it,” Jemma says before catching Daniel’s eyes and winking.
