Invites Munson over after work all the time (it's bad enough my boyfriend and his friends get swept up into Munsons shenanigans)

Snores.

It's based on a random stupid Headcanon where Freddy is much older than Billy [maybe 5 or 7 years older??], making it even ironic for his name to be "Captain Marvel jr", (I also like to think he had a similar reaction to Mary, something like, "I've always wanted a sister!" Danny Phantom x Captain Marvel idea!!!

I've seen fic where Billy gets adopted by Danny, or Phantom sees Captain Marvel and his mind yells, "THAT IS A CHILD", etc.

But what if he treats Billy like a baby? Imagine ancient (may be king or not) spirit Danny, who watched his family die, just takes a look at Billy (in his Marvel/Adult form) and his core just latches on to be his mama.

As in, he treats him like an ACTUAL baby! He puts him in a crib, Reads him bed time stories or sings him a lullaby, Burps him after making him drink bottled milk, Carries him around like a child, etc. All while he is in his Phantom form (it doesn't age) and Billy is in his Captain Marvel form.

Worst Best part?? Billy is very much fine with this. No. In fact, he is enjoying this. It feels warm, fuzzy, and fluffy all around his heart. This ghost is his mama now. He feels so content, safe, and wholesome. You cannot take this away from me, Batman! No, I don't care if we look weird, Superman, Mama says it's nap time! Shhh, Mama is talking to me (using baby talk lol). Gimme a sec, Wonder Woman.

billy & mary’s affection I feel like is sort of them getting a grip of what they think their relationship would be like bc they both grew up as only kids and didn’t have actual examples of what siblings would be like and it’s still ok they hug and hold hands even when they’re a little older and that’s fine but it also means when they fight it gets out of hand bc they don’t know siblings just wait 5 hours and go to each others rooms and ask if they want anything to eat. they genuinely think they have to solve it with impassioned speeches and confrontation and introspection and have an HR-office-like way of getting to the crux of every problem they have. and yes it’s healthy I suppose but it’s all bc they’re so so careful with each other bc they don’t want to mess their relationship up on both ends and also that’s their personality. anyway freddy thinks they’re freaks cuz he knuckled down on kit every time he breathed wrong when they were like 7/8
