Quarantine Day 35

4/21/20

✨ woke up at 7:30 this morning and did 40 minutes of solo yoga. I love getting up and just putting on my yoga playlist and doing my own flow for a while. It’s THE best way to start each day!

✨ after that I made coffee and then had classes from 9:45-11, 11:10-12:25, and then 12:45-2! They were all fun though and I LOVE the interaction (and the teachers) so I genuinely enjoy it!

✨ then at 2:30 I went for a walk, stopped and got a decaf coffee for said walk and enjoyed an hour in the sun 🌞

✨ I am officially an ambassador for Bangs Shoes (!!!! Yay !!!!) and I’m STOKED!

✨ also this labradorite stone is my fave atm and I like having it on me not only during my yoga practices but also while I’m chilling in bed doing nothing. It’s comforting :)

✨ my body is feeling a bit run down, so no run or bike ride today. My feet are actually quite rough and sore on the soles of my feet, probably from so much yoga lately! So I did my 40 minutes of yoga this morning and then at like 4 I did a 30 minute core focused yoga class and am calling it a day for my body. She deserves the down time!

✨ Anyways, gotta go do my ethnic studies homework before 7 when I am going to zoom a friend for a few hours!

I was once told nobody likes change except a baby! I sometimes feel those words can be so true at times! When we go through things we tend to fight change and come up with so many different reasons as to why we can’t do it, rather than just BEing what we were designed to BE. There's been so much change in the last few months that I can't even keep up with it all. -In Feb my second son Navi was born -In mid march we officially launched The Navi Brand -For the last few months we’ve been dealing with COVID-19 -I, like many have been furloughed (I still don’t know if that’s the proper way to use that word) -I haven’t been able to get unemployment -I’ve had to become a part time teacher (with my oldest doing distance learning) However, through all of this change, I realized something important. My Father is a creative, He thought of an idea, and spoke it out and it became existence. If my Father can do that, and I am a mirror-like representation of who He is, then aren’t I capable of the same thing? So I began to put the ideas, the dreams, and the creativity that I (as well as you) possess. I started combining the things I love together.
