The one episode I am really excited about is the blood-bending episode. In the animation, it was terrifying and eerie and hands down my favourite episode and I cannot wait to see what the live action will do.

I think that modern AUs miss out on Zuko's honor complex by not having him become a judge out of spite just so that he gets called "Your Honor." 🤡☠

I've read lots of cool fanfics, but never one that addresses this. I should probably write on myself to scratch that itch. OMG imagine the potential.

And we could even have a badass origin story like Zuko originally wanting to be a corporate lawyer like Ozai, but after witnessing how scummy smarmy corrupt he is, Zuko gets kicked out and/or the scar and he decides that he'd rather be a good lawyer and later on eventually becomes a judge while healing under Iroh's tutelage. Iroh could be anything from a retired seasoned General (and Ozai's complex of inferiority could be because he somehow failed to get into the army ?? ) To a formerly brilliant corp lawyer who was even more ruthless than Ozai before realizing after the loss of his son (not necessarily in a war, maybe just an epiphany as he finally empahizes with oppressed/poor people who lose their kids everyday be it through direct attacks, lack of access to basic services like healthcare, OR criminal rings) and quits to open a tea shop and chill.

He uncovers Ozai's smuggling rings or whatever crimes he has committed through the help of FBI-like (minus the overall bad rep IRL) agents as well as independent investigators with various motivations (i.e: Maybe Katara and Sokka's mom was tragically linked to a hate crime or was silenced as a witness or sth, but anyway cue the Gaang and Zuzu finally joining forces), and BAMF, team Ozai falls from grace (idk what we should do with Zhao? Have him killed by Ozai ?).

Azula is a tricky one though. She could get redeemed, already be redeemed by the start of the story, or be a villain. My own little take would be that she'd act a little bit like Franziska von Karma. I don't recall if she directly addressed Manfred's monstrosity, but there were hints in the games I played (I didn't play all of them) that she didn't want to follow his footsteps.

She'd be very entertaining and chaotic regardless of which side she is on. 🤣

for the fandom ask game I shall ask ATLA (because even though you're not as active in ATLA right now, I feel like I already know your answers for Stranger Things and I want something with a bigger cast than TOG)

This is such a hard one! I totally get why you did it, but I started thinking about these and I was like "...but they're all my favorites!!!!"

I tried my best, though.

• Favourite Female: This might have been the hardest? I love Katara so much, but I had to go with my childhood fave, Toph • Favourite Male: Iroh. Because I loved Zuko as a kid, but as an adult, Iroh is just the actual best. • 3 Other Favourite Characters: Zuko, Katara, Sokka. No shade to Aang, but you and I have a whole Thing about main characters being just less interesting. • 3 OTPs: Sokka/Yue, Sokka/Suki, ...uhhhhh it turns out I'm mostly ambivalent about ships in this show. Can I reach into the future for Korrasami? Or choose Sokka/Suki/Yue? Momo/Miuyki? Zuko/therapy? That combines to 3, right? • Notp: Zutara. I rewatched the series recently and I DO get it. The Dynamic is there. But I also found myself on that rewatch going "oh the last thing these two need is each other." • Funniest character: Zuko is fucking hilarious. He's not TRYING, but that makes it funnier. • Prettiest character: Azula. She would hate that answer so much. • Most Annoying Character: SOKKA WAS RIGHT! AUNTIE WU IS THE WORST!! • Most badass character: Katara. There were so many options here. Iroh is a BAMF. Toph is our Earth Rumble champ. Azula could kick my ass. But Katara is very powerful and very angry in a way that terrifies me. • Character I’d like as my BFF: I feel like all of the younger characters would have some trait that would get really annoying after a while. I love them as characters. But Katara mom-friending me would eventually get old. That being said, my dad is one of my best friends, so I’m going with Iroh. I want to drink tea and talk shit. Or, for practical reasons, Appa. • Female Character I’d Marry: Suki. Not to be a lesbian, but oh my god, etc. • Male Character I’d Marry: hmmmm…. Uhhh… I recognize that there are technically a lot of men in this show. I like a lot of them as characters. But I can’t think of any I’d want to marry. Iroh's great, but solidly too old for me. The Earth King seems like a good person to marry if I want power and/or to travel and not actually have to do much as a spouse. Maybe Master Piandao? He seems cool. • Character I hate/dislike/least like: I had a hard time thinking of this, since the main characters are all pretty great, even the villains for doing their villany thing. But I went through the list of episodes and would like to nominate everyone from the episode "The Great Divide." Selfish bastards.
