whos ur tf oc ?
! Oh hello! i honestly didnt expect anyone to actually ask but i Am excited to share! which is why this will probably be a bit rambley
Tumblr media
this is Drone! (it/its pronouns)
i wanted to make a bot for tfa who was made from one of the all spark fragments! The fragment brought to life a drone that originally was made to servery very remote locations, to help research things like migration patterns and watch over things that would be to dangerous for a human. After powell took over he tried to have the program changed to instead make military drones. unfortunately when reformatting the drone with thicker armor something went wrong with its internal gyroscope, and it was deemed too expensive to fix, so the project got shelved.
Eventually Drone (it shortened its full title for the sake of brevity) stumbled out of the warehouse, newly alive! yaaaaay! Unfortunately Sentinel, finding it first and seeing it was a flight frame, Immediately attacked. Luckily as the other autobots showed up blitzwing and lugnut did as well, eventually taking drone back to the caves where, for a while, it became their communication expert in training!
I've got a whole like, plot and everything set up in my head thats a bit more complicated. At the end of everything though it ends up joining Wreak-gar, Scrapper, and Snarl as what Wreak-gar names The Junk Bots. They end up taking over for optimuss team when theyre away.

Some of you might have been wondering what has happened to Giorgos and his updates.
On the one hand, I didn't have much free-time to organize. On the other hand, there was really nothing to give you an update about. But here is a little update with some more "successfull" screenshots.
So, he reached his peak of 95 kilos / 210 or so pounds in mid May. But, he was planning to do a trip to the monastery on the Athos Peninsula. He had the trip on the last days of May, walking for hours under the scarching Greek sun, with little food and no alcohol near. Looks like he rapidly lost 5 kilos / 10-12 pounds, reaching his "ideal" weight of 90 kilos / 200 pounds. The first four pictures are from early June, around this weight.
Then, he found himself a new job and passion - construction. That's right, he started to work at his father's housing company, building houses and apartements with his two hands. He also had to move to Athens, but he keeps visiting home back to his village on the Peloponnese. Pictures 5-6 are from this time, late June-early July. New environment, without mama's cooking, and the little time to eat made him lose another 5 kilos / 10 pounds, falling back to 85 kilos / 188-190 pounds. Then he vanished from socials (I thought he had a love affair, but he stayed single whatever happened).
The last four screens are rather recent (mid July). He seems to have accomodated to the new environment, seems to have figured things out, and I'm positive he got confident enough to "care about his body" some more. He is allegedly still 85 kilos, he looks kinda proud of his weight loss (he brags about him to anyone calling him fatty - 10 kilos in less than two month is still quite impressive - I'm afraid he gets too cocky about it and will keep up "dieting"), but he still won't give up on the belly.
To be honest, his ten kilo weight loss hardly shows. Of course, that belly would look a lot softer and a lot more like Giorgos, but he still has a lot of it. He has finally found himself a passion, and hopefully it's just a question of time till the late-night gyro-runs start to show. It's also the middle of the hottest summer ever recorded in Greece, and don't forget that he is a physical worker now - I actually find it surprising he didn't go lower than where he is now, and that he is still looking out of shape. Somehow his muscles don't seem to develop, maybe because of the inappropriate diet he is following.
And you know what this means? Instability. He has no balance. His body knows that it can't go lower and has to keep storing the amount of bodyfat he is having. And I'm counting on that as soon as summer is over, his hunger will grow (as people are bilogically installed to craving less energy during the summer and more in the winter). As we know him, he won't probably be able to hold himself back, especially during the holidays. You remember how he ballooned up to 95 kilos before Christmas? And he didn't even care.
Anyway, this might mean less updates until something interesting happens (e.g. no more constructions for a while / going back to a sedentary lifestyle, getting homemade meals, probably a girlfriend who can cook for him?). I still have some "material" to post if anyone is interested but it would take some time and patience to make it publishable.

I'm about to go on a whole rant on why I love venture as a dps.
🪨🪨🪨🪨🪨🪨🪨🪨🪨🪨🪨🪨🪨🪨
Venture is literally a splatoon players dream, as a person who used to play alot of splatoon 3 before I switched to overwatch.
(I use a Nintendo switch and my switch pro controller, I have gyro enabled and it's set to max sensitivity [both x and y axis] and the same goes for my stick movements).
The fact that they can go underground and avoid damage, plus getting a temporary shield when using their abilities!??!?! It reminds me of the swim feature in splatoon, difference is venture can't get hurt and the ability is timed.
They're Abilities are sooooo good when it comes to crowd control especially when they exit the ground, if you charge it, it causes a shockwave!??! Dispersing a crowd while also dealing damage.
Playing them reminds me of playing splatoon with one of my favorite weapons: the explosher. But 10x better!?!? Difference is higher mobility with venture and lower range. In splatoon the explosher has high range and very low mobility making it more of a backline weapon. However the projectiles are very similar, with a direct hit and a splash/explosion. Both weapons are great with crowd control in different ways, with the explosher you can fire projectiles from a distance, the projectiles explode on impact dispersing a crowd, pushing the other team back in order to regain health(it takes about 2 direct hits to kill). Venture's ability, burrow, definitely can help with crowd control by dealing damage, knocking back opponents and disturbing the momentum of the enemy team. In overwatch venture's weapon(smart excavator) takes about 3 hits to kill most characters(not tanks) without using combos. Both weapons are on the slower side, with a delayed hit and slow firing rate however both weapons make up for it when it comes to damage.
Tumblr media
Because venture is so mobile it makes perfect sense for them to be melee/short ranged, again I love the crowd control aspect they have! I think blizzard also did a great job at making them balanced! Even though their abilities seem op, there are multiple ways to counter their attacks, even their ultimate can be countered by either a shield(as long as its on the ground) or by jumping(like you would a jump rope or the special: wave breaker from splatoon[you jump over the waves to avoid damage]). With venture as long as you look for the signs that they're around you have a chance at countering them or getting out of the way. When venture travels underground it shows exactly where they are, and when they charge up an exit you can clearly see how big the impact will be, making it easy to avoid as long as your character is quick enough.
In my opinion venture is a really fun character to play, honestly they have to be my current favorite. I found that their abilities are really easy to learn and even combo, if you like melee characters that are also good with crowd control and are very mobile.

Dude I have to go somewhere right now or else I would talk about Yukisagi right here right now for houuurrrss but you should give some of your thoughts on them I'm DYING to know 🎤🎤🎤
🌱🩷:
BOTH ARE ROTTING MY BRAIN ALONG WITH KARASAGI!
So!! I think they are perfect for each other bcs of how competitive they both can be, WE ALL SAW THEM DURING MANSHINE ESPECIALLY! But, they are also very civil and warm people off of the field. I think they balance each other out well. Personally, Isagi offers Yukimiya a more quiet and peacful everyday life, while Yukimiya adds in some excitement and surprises into Isagi's life. They both make great football partners as well. Isagi with his adaptability and spatial awareness, is a good practice partner when Yukimiya needs to practice his dribbling or gyro shot. I also think that Yukimiya could give Isagi good advice on the flow state and help him with dribbling.
One of my headcanons on them is that Isagi is very soft around Yukimiya, and would reassure him how great of a player he is, despite you know... his eye condition, and that he will do great things in life. Think of Isagi as a light in Yukimiya's gloomy surrounding. When it comes to Yukimiya, I believe he balances out Isagi's ego well. He is one of the few players to go head to head against Isagi and still stay close to him off the field. I believe Yukimiya would offer a lot of excitement for Isagi in his otherwise mundane life.

Bunch of rough ideas for TankEater.
Top: I am giving myself a rule that no classical mechs are allowed in TankEater to force myself to use more interesting designs, so here's the bunny bikes used by the currently-unnamed SEA allies to the North American Empire. Dex will fight them, it will be cool. They have two massive gyros each consisting of two counter rotating flywheels so they can be used to store power or balance the bike. When upright the front wheel can also be used as a gyro. The shock absorbers are linear electromagnetic motors so it's capable of jumping. They're called bunny bikes because they can hop upright and turn by either using the gryos while moving, or hopping and then using the gyros to turn. So they can get to places you would not expect a dirtbike to get to. They also have a gun (probably coilgun?) mounted on a stabilizer. Unmanned versions get bigger guns. Motors are electric and all power comes from precharging the flywheels and a small gas turbine. Need to refine the design a bit more but I like it.
Middle Left: Dex is mind controlled and stuff at the beginning of the comic so they fight the good guys originally, some will die! Here's a few. First up is tentatively named Vane. I think he was a human laborer (possibly in medical work) on Venus before they started being replaced with zombies (and since it's hard to bring that many people home suddenly it became less costly to have the human laborers "accidentally" die) which triggered the first stage of the uprising. He and several other people went "fuck it, we're dead, let's shove in as many mil-spec mods as we can and take them down with us." He has health problems now but he's as fast as Dex in some reflexes (mostly because Dex is huge and their nerve signals have further to travel). Had to get new teeth because the old ones all fell out.
Middle Right and Bottom: Maulissa is coming to TankEater! Maybe! A former zombie slave she is very strong and carries a big gun with superposed ammo. She also has cool tattoos. Something very bad happened to her face.

My first Battletech 'Mech, the Marauder IIC (specifially, the Marauder IIC 2).
This bad boy is kind of a PPC beast in-game, someday I'll get the rest of his star painted up and get some more games in. I'm pretty fond of Battletech, it's just a straight up fun time.
Went for a Jade Falcons-esque scheme since their over-the-top "Clan-ness" is kind of endearing to me in a strange way. I might mix it up and go for a more varied "Merc" look in the future, though.
As always, more details under the cut:
Now stop me if you've heard this one before, but it always happens to come up when you talk about Battletech; there are a good number of Mech designs "borrowed" from Japanese designers like Shōji Kawamori or Kunio Okawara, and without getting too deep into the weeds on that, as a fan of those original designs, I am obviously a fan of their Battletech equivalents (and descendants, in this case). In my opinion, one design that translates particularly well to the Battletech "look" is the Marauder (or Glaug, as it was known originally in Macross), and this specific variant of the higher-tech Omnimech version of the Marauder just ticks all the boxes for me.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
On the left, the Glaug, on the right, the Marauder IIC 2. Yeah, I know, but it could be a lot worse, alright?
Enough semantics! What about the miniature? Well, not to dive right into harsh words right off the bat, but this thing is pretty darn huge for a Battletech mini:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yes he is made up of a small ingot's worth of pewter; yes he is as big as our hefty Touro friend from last time.
Now to be fair, in-universe this mech weighs 85 tons, but as a mecha fan I try to contend with the square-cube law as little as possible, so when my miniature mech consistently collapses under its own weight, it rings a little too close to reality for my liking.
And I know what you're thinking: the pose I glued it into was not the problem; if anything, having a wider stance kept the poor guy more balanced than he would have been just standing flat on his chicken legs.
No, the problem ran in the Marauder's family; having quite a small join from the legs to quite a top heavy "cockpit" area. (seeing the Marauder and the Touro side by side in the picture above does somewhat compound what an "actual" mech might have to look like; I'll admit, even the Touro's miniature felt sturdier...)
Luckily, by being careful with him I've kept the Marauder IIC 2's "days without accident" tally going for a good while now, and luckier still, this design flaw doesn't translate into the game (sort of, I can't remember the gyro stats off the top of my head).
Now Battletech being the game that it is, my first game did involve my poor Marauder instantly getting its cockpit kicked in by a very lucky Black Knight, but that's all part of the fun, and from that moment on I've been hooked.
Tumblr media
Pictured above: My mech learning that peeking over a ledge puts your cockpit in a perfect position for punting.

These two never ended up together in canon, barely interacted until the near ending of Steel Ball Run, never once showed any interest in each other (other than for mutual benefit), and the ONLY scene even hinting at sexual tension was Diego forcefully kissing Hot Pants to suffocate her with her own ability. And yet...god the potential.
They balance each other so well and even act as good foils for Johnny and Gyro.
You know a straight ship is good, especially when the fandom is mostly comprised of hopeless gays, myself included.

In all fairness to Paul, he'd actually paid for the sandwich this time.
"I think he's really gonna do it this time."
"Mmm, I dunno, Punch is looking pretty down to rumble. Any sign of Judy?"
"Not since last week, she might be sitting on eggs. Good thing - this makes it much more balanced a fight."
Paul approaches with a slight zig-zag to his walk. Trying to throw off his trajectory as the seagull eyes him, beak full of its stolen goods. The gyro dripped grease and white tzatziki onto the slats of the pier.
He makes a dodge left - and the gull reacts. It lifts into the air, hopping itself from one pier pole to another on the opposite side. Paul watches it go, just out of (human) arm's reach. His eyes flicker yellow in the low lamplight.
"Ooh, almost had 'em," smirks Marko.
"Oh, if only man were gifted the power of flight," David simpers, nursing his cigarette.
Paul doesn't deign to acknowledge them, beyond the simmering annoyance shared in the mental bond.
Before anyone can say anything else, he makes another break for it, going right for the proverbial kill, hoping speed and surprise will lend him advantage. Paul indeed makes a flying leap (and Dwayne has to look around for prying eyes, despite being fairly far from most of the nighttime activity) and he swipes at the feathery thief.
He doesn't quite make it.
"Huh," Marko says conversationally. "I guess Judy was just late."
Paul might have agreed. If his attempt hadn't been interrupted by a white torpedo sailing out of the gloom over the ocean going right for his face.
Judy, mate of Punch, careens into Paul, throwing him off his launch. They two land on the wooden walkway in a fury of white feathers and teeth and flailing limbs of all kinds. Both are squawking in outrage at the other, swearing oaths of revenge in language both human and not, while Marko, David, and Dwayne simply cannot contain their laughter anymore.
It's not every night you see a vampire lose a fight to a seagull over a sandwich.

Hey boss do you have an actual recipe for that gyro bowl? Or do you just cook by vibes? Literally have been thinking about that thang for a whole day, lol
So, I've cooked *similar* things from recipe but I was going off pure vibes alone, BUT I can type up what I did in a sort of recipe-esque format for you! This may not be 1:1 exactly what I cooked, but it might be close?
Tumblr media
Recipe for Donnie's Gyro Bowl below:
Ingredience (amount of each fed 3 people in excess, so maybe 4 servings?):
1lb Ground Lamb (can be omitted for a vegetarian friendly recipe, or changed for Protein Of Choice)
2 roma tomatoes
1 cucumber
1 zucchini
2 cans of chickpeas
1 large white onion
Dill weed (I ended up having to get dry, but fresh is better!)
Pearl Couscous (1 box, was roughly 2 cups of dry couscous)
greek yogurt (1 little cup of it)
1 lemon, or a decent amount of lemon juice
white wine vinegar
feta
"tuscan seasoning blend" which seems to be mostly basil, oregano, rosemary, thyme, garlic, and fennel.
"taco seasoning" which I used mostly for its cayenne, i would have liked to use paprika and cayenne together instead of relying on taco mix
Garlic powder (again, would have liked at least minced garlic if not fresh)
onion powder
red pepper flakes
Olive oil, butter, salt, and pepper
preheat oven to 400f. Dice tomato and zucchini (keeping them separate), and halve then slice thinly the onion. Zest and halve the lemon then juice into a bowl/cup. Dice half the cucumber, then grate the other half on the medium/large size holes on a box grater (or really finely chop it into mush).
Put the diced cucumber and half the tomatoes in a bowl and add half a cup of white wine vinegar and some warm water. Add a few tsp of lemon juice, salt, pepper, and Dill. Allow to quick pickle while everything else cooks.
drain chickpeas well and mix in a bowl with olive oil and what feels like the right amount of tuscan seasoning and taco mix powder. the peas should look well coated but not like Caked with Seasoning. Toss to mix and then spread out in a single layer on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for ~25 minutes depending on your oven. They might make popping sounds while cooking, be not afraid.
Melt a little butter in a pot and then add the couscous to toast it a bit before adding the same amount in water and then a little extra, maybe 1/4 cup extra. Stir in a generous amount of garlic and onion powders and boil for uhhh a bit until all the water has been absorbed. If couscous is undercooked and all the water is absorbed then add some more and cook until done. Keep warm until ready to serve.
In another pan, melt a bit more butter then add the lamb, stirring to break it up and brown it. I added a lot of the seasonings in different amounts, and some chili pepper flakes. Once cooked through, add half the tomato to cook with it. Once the tomato is soft and the lamb is fully cooked, remove from the pan and keep warm.
To the ~juices~ from the cooked lamb in the pan, add the zucchini and onion and cook well until the zucchini is soft and charred and the onions are soft. Season with Salt, Pepper, and Dill. Add more butter or oil if you didn't have any animal fats left over from meat.
To the greek yogurt, add the shredded cucumber, some lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and taste to see if it's balanced.
To serve, put a layer of couscous at the bottom of the bowl, followed by chickpeas, the meat mix, the cooked veggies, the cucumber tomato salad, and then tzatziki sauce. Top with crumbled feta cheese.
The dish has such a mix of great flavors and textures and temperatures and heat and cream and lemon sour and its all just really really delicious. It did take maybe 40 minutes for me to cook but was soooooo worth it new favorite thing to cook for people.
Also if you were wondering, I went to the grocery store to buy everything I needed to make it more or less and it was about $35 and fed 3-4. The real expensive parts were the dill and the lamb, so those comprised $20 of it. If you already have dill, and omit or change the meat, it's a lot cheaper. Also its 2024 and groceries are expensive as hell.

Whats the deal with Bionicle Heroes (Wii)?
Okay so everyone here knows Bionicle Heroes, probably by either the GameCube or Playstation 2 releases. Maybe even the Xbox release (of which all 3 are pretty much just ports with the input graphics changed) or the PC version (mouse and keyboard controls being the most drastic difference). It's many people's favorite (or at least most nostalgic) Bionicle game, competing with or right after Mata Nui Online Game.
The game itself is already quite repetitive - if you're the type to go for 100% completion, you're gonna be hearing the Hero Mode song A LOT. Even the DS version makes better use of unique mechanics by having Hahli use her Kanohi Elda to detect secrets, but that's a different tangent.
When I learned there was a Wii Version I was so excited to play what could very well be the Best version. To preface, I know a lot of people have a stigma against motion controls, but I've always found that the Metroid Prime Trilogy works so excellently with a Wii Remote and Nunchuck in ways that no other control scheme can match! Movement with an analog stick is more precise and comfortable than keys, and aiming with an analog stick is always wonky and imprecise. Mouse is okay, but Prime's pointer controls make those games really slick - just point where you wanna shoot, you can adjust the zones on the edges of the screen for turning your view, I really like it. I play on a close approximation of that style on Prime Remastered, but Joycons even have Gyro Drift so it doesn't always feel great.
So I go into this expecting similar - to be able to point at anywhere on screen and shoot at that. To point at an enemy and have the targeting lasers aim right at them.
Nope. Targeting is locked to the center of the screen.
Despite constantly having your pointer visible, THE ONLY INTERACTION IT HAS WITH THE GAME IS TO ROTATE THE CAMERA. You can't point at anything. Only moving the cursor towards the edges of the screen to turn your view, and whatever is closest to the center of the screen becomes your target.
You can't even adjust these zones.
Prime Trilogy showed me how WiimoteNunchuck can be one of the best control schemes, but I underestimated how it can also be one of the worst. What's the point of having a pointer if you're just gonna treat it as an analog stick????????
Not to mention it's clearly a rushed port of the GameCube release, including any prerendered cutscenes being much more compressed (though including new dialogue in the opener?) and even some missing textures revealing open skybox (luckily just minor stuff).
Like sure, I've got my gripes with every version of Heroes (the dumbing down of the most intense part of the story thus far, turning the Piraka into bumbling fools, you could at least make them intimidating in the part where BALTA TALKS ABOUT HOW INTIMIDATING THEY ARE CMON) but the control scheme makes the Wii version easily the worst. All the DS hand cramps are at least balanced out by the unique content, rahi variety (THEY HAVE FROST BEETLES), etc.
At least it's still got the good soundtrack.

Headcanons: Peppino Spaghetti
So, a big reason for me making this blog is that I wanted to share my headcanons for different characters! ... Particularly for Pizza Tower since I have a lot of headcanons for these characters that I don’t think would be very welcomed on other spaces. So, without further ado, let’s start with the man of the hour and my favorite character: Peppino Spaghetti. This man consumes 50% of my braincells at any given moment, so I have a lot of them. You can find them under the readmore ^^
Peppino is gay and trans. I like Peppino both being pre-op and post-op in terms of top surgery, and he's definitely on T.
Peppino is a first-generation American born to an Italian father and a Greek mother. They fled fascist WWII Italy when speakers of Greek were being persecuted (aka Peppino's mother) and settled somewhere vaguely in the New York City/New Jersey/Philadelphia area
Despite being born in America, Peppino still has a strong Italian accent! He learned how to speak Italian long before he learned how to speak English. He's trilingual and can speak three languages: Italian, English, and Greek. Italian and English are his two best languages. Sometimes he'll forget the word for something in one language and substitute it for the word in a different language instead
Peppino is autistic! His special interests include cooking and strategy games. He's a vestibular (i.e. movement and balance related stuff) sensory seeker who enjoys going really fast and climbing stuff. He also talks with his hands a lot, particularly since he's both autistic and Italian.
He also has some oral stims as well. For example, he likes to bite and chew things. For this reason, he can often be found carrying a pack of gum. He tries his best not to bite his hands since it's both considered a Sicilian insult (so he was frequently told to knock it off as a kid, that stuck with him) and because he doesn't think it's the healthiest behavior. Though, if he's really stressed, he'll bite his hand to calm down.
Spicy food is hit or miss for Peppino, most often miss. While he doesn't like hot wings, one of his favorite foods is Pepper Pizza- which is very spicy. He's very particular about spicy foods
Speaking of foods, Peppino's favorite food is unsurprisingly pizza. Even after the whole Pizza Tower incident, it remains his favorite food. Of course, while he likes many other Italian dishes, Peppino also really likes a lot of other Greek dishes too such as gyros and tomato fritters
Peppino fought in the Vietnam War. He wasn't drafted, but rather joined willingly as a display of masculinity (there was some household tension I think when Peppino first came out as trans, he didn't really understand nor care about the politics behind the war). Peppino was able to successfully get into the army using falsified documents and successfully hiding his feminine traits through techniques like upselling his Italian accent to mask his voice and explaining that he was just a bit out of shape to explain his larger than normal chest
The war was constant hell for Peppino. There was no safety to be found anywhere for him. Of course, the front lines are always dangerous. But, camp wasn't any safer for him. Peppino had to be very careful about hiding his identity as one slip up could have him ousted and sent back home shamed or worse. Additionally, an injury could out him to the medics too if needed medical treatment. So, to compensate for this, Peppino became the best fighter in his entire platoon. I think some people eventually figured him out, but didn't rat out Peppino because they knew they were safer with him around.
To his credit, Peppino was celebrated when he returned home and was recognized as a man by his family. Though, he got out of the army as soon as he could, and he ended up regretting joining in the first place since he was left with severe PTSD from the whole experience.
After the whole Pizza Tower incident, he ended up becoming friends with most of the Tower's inhabitants as he recognizes most of them didn't really work for Pizzahead and were instead manipulated some how into working for him. Though, Noise still bothers the shit out of him and he hates Pizzahead, doesn't like him at all.
Peppino feels this weird sense of responsibility for Fake Peppino, as if giving up on him was giving up on himself. So, even though Fake Peppino used to unnerve the hell out of him, Peppino let him live at the Pizzeria with him, Gustavo, and Brick and now he's pretty comfortable with Fake Peppino around
The only ship I particularly like with Peppino is Peppiblast (Peppino x Antonblast). I prefer him and Gustavo as friends, with Gustavo almost taking on a mentor-like relation with Peppino. I prefer Peppino and Noise as frenemies. While he's had bad relationships in the past, I do like the idea of Peppino wanting to be in one. I think his relationship with Anton is an interesting one with both of them helping each other grow- with Anton learning to become a bit more sensitive to those around him (you gotta be careful being a demolitionist dating a war veteran) and Peppino learning how to set boundaries better and communicate his needs better (he comes from a loving but misguiding family which left him with some issues)
