At this point I think I have a mental illness called bakudeku fanfiction like wtf I stayed up till 5am really a 600k slow burn on how bakugo was a robot made by Mai as a support item for deku cause he kept over working himself and suffered from insomnia and bad mental health, than when he sees bakugo he’s reminded of his childhood friend that died due ti his explosive quirk and surprise the robots behaviour is exactly like his kacchans now time skip to when he asks Mei how she made him and this girl said “some dude with a powerful quirk had his body donated to science and my dad was the head of the donor system so he preserved the organs and the mainly the brain , I asked him if I can use them seeing as I wanted to make it the most realistic as possible and technically he is human like he has a real heart that beats due to some mechanics however he also has blood so I guess you could say I built a human” ye so let’s say I’ve only had 1hr of sleep and I’m very I’ll with a fever lmao

He sways a little before he frowns and squints dangerously. Kirishima tenses in preparation for some snarky remark about his inability to decorate, but all that comes out of Bakugou’s slurred mouth is, “This isn’t my fucking room.”

Wow, okay, maybe he’s a lot more drunk than Kirishima first thought.

Katsuki has spent his whole life trying to prove himself by beating down everyone who doubts him, whether they think he’s weak or because his bullshit Goddess of a mom won’t stop flinging love interests his way. That was the plan for his sixth summer at Camp Half Blood - never show weakness, even if the new Ares kid with the unwavering smile isn’t deterred by his walls.

When you love someone ─

Everything was fine, every day it seemed brighter when you started to get close to him. Now, looking back you wondered why you didn't bother with seeing the truth. You were too high up in the clouds to realize the pain that came with that temporary happiness.

"Katsuki..." You mumbled trying to fix a bug on his computer. "I need to get this done..."

"No one said you couldn't multi-task." He mumbled into your neck as he peppered your skin with kisses.

You chuckled feeling his lips and slight stubble tickling your skin. "I-I know... but someone might walk in and see us."

"No one is going to come, everyone else left to help out capturing a villain."

"Still," you turned around to face him. "You sound so sure when we really don't know if anyone has arrived yet."

He leaned forward, capturing your lips with his own. After a moment he pulled away slowly, a slight smile forming on his face. "Stop worrying, and let me have at least a few minutes with you."

"I want to spend time with you too, Katsuki." You said pecking his lips softly. "I just don't want to get you in trouble."

"You're not." His grip around your waist tightened. "I'm not that much of an idiot that we end up getting caught."

"Right, like last time," you giggled. "I told you someone was coming but you ignored me until I was able to pull away at the right time."

"That was one time... I made sure to tell them to knock before anything else."

"Well that certainly makes me rest a bit easy."

His smile slowly disappeared and his look was replaced with one of adoration for you. He gently cupped right side of your face, you leaned into his touch, closing your eyes. "You're too damn gorgeous you know that?"

A blush covered your cheeks, looking away from him. "You are the one to talk... every girl has their eyes on you."

"Hey." He softly spoke, turning your head to look at him.

You looked into his eyes.

"I don't care about anyone else..." He said. "I only want you, I don't give a crap about those fan girls. You're the only one I have eyes on."

At times like these, you wished you would be able to spend time alone without worrying about anyone else seeing you. Still, you knew this was better than anything else.

"I know."

"Good." Both his hands went up to cup your face. "So stop thinking otherwise." Katsuki pulled you in close and kissed you deeply, not wanting to waste any more time. You rested your hands on his waist as you poured all your emotions into the kiss. He walked backwards, pulling you with him as he sat down on his chair.

"Woah." You said holding on to him as he pull you down onto his lap.

He smirked looking up at you. "I thought we could get comfortable."

"I can see that." You turned your body to fully face him, wrapping your legs around his waist.

Katsuki moved his hands down your sides and rested them on your hips. "You know-"

A knock was then heard on the door. "Sir? I'm here to deliver something that was brought to you."

You quickly got off of him and went back to his computer. An annoyed look was visibly seen on his face as he fixed his clothes and got up from his chair.

"Come on in." He yelled out.

They opened the door and walked over to where you two were. "Oh, hey (y/n.)!"

"Hey, Tadashi." You smiled at him.

He handed the closed envelope to him and excused himself, leaving you two alone again.

"What is it?" You asked looking at him.

A sigh escaped from his lips, reading the bright letters on the card. "It's an invitation to the stupid annual Hero Gala thing."

"Really? That must be exciting," you said. "Getting the chance to spend some time with such great heroes all night."

"Yeah well... this year, the whole agency his going."

"What?" Katsuki handed you the invitation, you read the words carefully making sure it wasn't a mistake. "But isn't this an invitation only for the pro heroes?"

"Not this year." He leaned back against his desk, with his arms crossed in front of his chest. "They want everyone to participate since they know there's a lot of new heroes interning this year."

"I see..." You mumbled.

"You don't have to go, you know that right."

You looked up at him. "I know but this is a special night for you, I want to go and support you."

"Hmm, you sure or is it just an excuse to see me in my new hero costume."

"Oh please, it's not like I haven't seen it." You said. "You're the one who couldn't wait to show me."

"Shut up, you loved it."

You nodded."Well yeah, I thought it was obvious."

Katsuki leaned down and kissed you softly. "I'm glad to see you're finally going this year."

"Me too."

The invitation didn't state that the interns needed to be dressed in their hero costume only the pro heroes. Still, it made you nervous to walk in and see everyone dressed differently.

"Miss, do you happen to be (hero name)?" The elderly taxi man asked.

"Oh um yes, that's me." You answered.

"I knew it." He chuckled. "My grand daughter loves you very much, she keeps talking about becoming a pro hero just like you."

"That's very sweet but I know she will become an even greater hero than me one day."

"She's very passionate about being a hero." He smiled. "Always standing up to bullies to protect those that are scared. Are you going to the heroes gala as well?"

"Yes." You chuckled. "I'm quite nervous since I'm still an intern."

"Well believe me when I say this," he continued. "You've already made a big impression on everyone. We've all seen how much of an amazing hero you are. There's no need to worry."

"Thank you, sir." You said. "Honestly hearing your words makes me feel a bit more at ease."

He gave you a warm smile through the rear view mirror. "No, thank you for saving us and risking your life."

With a new confidence boost you made your way out of the taxi, once you arrived at the location. There were news reporters at the entrance, talking to a very popular hero it seemed. Luckily you made it pass them without any issues.

When you made it inside, your eyes widened. The whole place looked extremely expensive, every wall was covered in a color of gold.

"Wow." You mumbled looking at every corner in of the place. Every hero from past generations were here, from Endeavor, Mt. Lady, All Might, Gran Torino, Eraserhead, and even your old schools principal Nezu. It truly felt unbelievable being surrounded by amazing heroes.

"Oh, Y/n!" Your friend called out to you. "I didn't think you were going to come."

"I was a bit hesitant, Miyano but I'm glad I didn't decide on missing out." You said approaching him.

"I feel you, I was feeling a bit overwhelmed myself but now that I'm here I'm more worried about fan boying over every hero."

You chuckled. "I feel you, it's insane how many heroes show up to these things. I'm glad we were finally included this year."

"Oh my god, same!" He exclaimed, smiling widely. "Is that the number two hero, Deku?!"

You turned around as he pointed and saw that Katsuki was standing next to him as well. Turns out even heroes like him didn't get an exception to the rules. Even in a suit, he still looked breath taking. You thought you'd seen him in every outfit but you were wrong.

"He's so cool!" Miyano exclaimed holding onto your arm tightly. "I'd do anything to be able to work under him one day."

"Why don't you go talk to him? I'm sure he'd appreciate you telling him how much you look up to him." You said.

"Can you come with me?"

Your eyes widened, "I-I um I don't know if that's a good idea-"

"Come on, please?!" He begged. "If I go alone I know I'll trip over my own feet and make a fool of myself."

You bit your lip not knowing what to do. If you even got anywhere near him, you won't be able to hold back from kissing him. All you wanted was to have him in your arms this instant.

"Please?!"

You nodded, "Okay okay, I'll go with you." you sighed. "But only for a little bit okay?"

"Deal!" He exclaimed pulling you with him as you both made your way towards them.

Your heart was beating fast against your chest. It was crazy that even after knowing him for months now that he still made you feel nervous. It was scary that someone like him had so much power over you, and yet you couldn't get enough.

Before you two reached them another hero then approached them. Miyano started to get even more nervous as his other favorite hero, Shoto, showed up as well.

"Okay... here I go... I've got this." He muttered to himself.

When you both approached them their conversation ended. All eyes were on you two making you nervous as well.

"Hi, I know you've probably heard this a bunch of times but I'm really a huge fan of you, Deku and Shoto." Miyano said. "I hope one day I'll be able to be a great hero like you two. Sorry boss, but I couldn't hold myself back from meeting them."

Resulting in Katsuki to get angry and Deku to chuckle. "Don't worry about him, I'm sure he sees that you appreciate him too." Deku said. "What are your names?"

"I'm Miyano Fukuhara, and this is my friend (Y/n) (Y/L/N)." He answered. "She's a big fan of you both too."

"Miyano," you mumbled feeling your face turn hot.

"(Y/n) is just shy, but she's very talkative when it comes to our boss."

"Miyano!" You exclaimed. "Sorry about him, he's not wrong I am a fan of you two. I really admire the work you guys have done."

Shoto smiled. "Thank you, we always try our best to make sure everyone's safe. We appreciate your support."

"Right, I'm glad to see that you two are learning a lot of good things from Kaachan. He's a great hero too, you're lucky to have him as your boss." Deku said.

"That we know, if it hadn't been for him... I wouldn't have been able to get an internship." You said. "And I would not been able to improve myself to be a better hero." You looked over at him, seeing his eyes never left yours. A faint smile rested on his lips.

"Well it's good to know that he hasn't changed completely since he can be a bit stubborn with people." Deku chuckled nervously.

"What did you say, nerd?!" Katsuki exclaimed.

"I-I um just saying that you tend to not want to listen to others sometimes is all!"

You chuckled. "He can be a hard boss at times but very understanding when he comes around."

"Really? I find that hard to believe that." Shoto spoke.

"It's a lot at times." Miyano said. "But he's definitely the best at pushing us to our limit."

A young women then approached you five. "Sorry to interrupt but we need you three by the stage soon."

"We should get going then that's our cue to go back, Y/n." Miyano said.

"Yeah we should get going as well, it was nice finally meeting you guys!" Deku smiled waving goodbye at you two.

"Yeah, hope we can meet again sometime." Shoto said walking away with him.

"I'll meet you there in a sec, Miyano." You said.

Miyano nodded and walked away leaving you two alone.

"So you're a fan of that nerd and icy hot too?" He scoffed. "I thought you had better taste."

"I do, I just admire their drive and determination." You said. "There's no harm in doing that."

Katsuki crossed his arms in front of his chest. "Really? It's like basically saying you'd rather be with them than with me."

"That's not true." You spoke softly.

"I could tell the way icy hot was looking at you." He said, looking at you. "It's like he was begging you to look at him all the times. That stupid smile he gave you..."

"Are you jealous?"

"Me? Fuck no, why the hell would I be jealous of that idiot."

"Katsuki..." You looked around seeing no one was looking at you two and you reached forward to touch his hand slightly. "I didn't care nor noticed how he was looking at me... you know why?"

He shook his head, inching his hand closer to hold yours. "Why?..."

"Because I don't want anyone else but you, Katsuki." You answered giving his hand a quick gentle squeeze. "I like being with you and no man will ever come as close to you. I only want you."

A small smile formed on his lips. "Good, I don't like when any other guy is near you. I won't hesitate next time to put him in his place."

"Yeah but maybe try next time not to explode... I don't want you to get in trouble."

"It's not like anyone is as strong as me." He smirked.

You rolled your eyes playfully. "Good thing you're feeling better now."

"Mr. Bakugo!" The young women from earlier yelling out to him.

"That's your cue, you better go." You said pulling your hand away from him.

"After this whole thing is over, wait for me by the entrance." He said.

"Are you sure?..."

Katsuki nodded. "I want to take you somewhere and celebrate."

"I'll wait for you until then... I can't wait."

He moved his hand out word to touch you but retreated it back only being able to give you a soft smile. "Me neither." Katsuki quickly walked over to the stage and stood next to Deku and Shoto.

You decided to go back and meet up with Miyano for the event.

"Good afternoon, to all the pro heroes of this country." The man said, "I'm happy to see that every hero and future heroes are here to join us tonight." receiving a handle of claps from the crowd in return. "Today we are here to celebrate you and thank you for all your hard work, this world has been hit hard with villainous acts. But we know we can always count on you to rescue the innocent lives of this world."

"He does talk a lot doesn't he?" Miyano said.

"Yup, I guess he's more talkative cause of the press that's inside here." You answered.

"Now we have a special guest here tonight with us, but before that will the top three heroes please join me on stage."

You clapped louder as Katsuki walked up the small steps and made his way onto the wide stage. His eyes moved around searching for you until his eyes landed on you. There was no smile on his lips, still he didn't need to say or show anything to know that he was focused solely on you.

"Alright, before we hand out the awards to these three amazing heroes. Let's give a big hand of applause to the number four hero, Uravity!"

Katsuki's behavior then changed, you noticed how is eyes widened seeing the hero appear on stage.

"Hello, everyone." Uravity said into the microphone. "To be honest I was worried that I wasn't going to be able to make it in time. But I'm happy to see that I did so I can give out this award to them." A staff member from the event then handed three awards. "I'm honored to give these awards out to the pro heroes who have proved time and time again of what it means to be a hero. Not only have they sacrificed themselves but are always on hand to help anyone in need. I truly believe that this city wouldn't be the way it is today without their help. Congratulations to Deku, Shoto, and DynaMight for being heroes of the year."

You smiled widely hearing his name being recognized as one of the top heroes of the year. "Go DynaMight!" You yelled, hoping he was able to hear you.

"That's an insane honor!" Miyano exclaimed. "Go boss! Congratulations Deku and Shoto!"

Uravity then walked over to them, handing an award to each one of them. Deku hugged her first then Shoto, when she went to hand Katsuki the award pulled him into a hug as well.

You could tell she mouthed something to him, Katsuki awkwardly looked away from her ready to pull away. But instead, she pulled him closer to her and kissed him in front of everyone. Deku and Shoto both looked shocked but supportive.

"Wait they were dating?" Miyano asked not believing it either.

You never tore your gaze away from them, it felt impossible to breathe. It didn't click in your mind that he could possible be dating anyone. You were certain that he would have told you if he was with someone since the beginning. But seeing how he never once pushed her away from him, made you think otherwise.

"Y/n?" Miyano asked, looking at you. "Are you okay?"

Suddenly you felt a tear fall onto your cheek, making you snap out of it. Quickly you wiped away the tears that were falling, rapidly. "I-I'm fine... I um need to go."

"Y/n!" He yelled out after you but you walked away wanting to get out of there as quickly as possible.

"I actually wanted to make an announcement." You heard Uravity's voice echo through the speakers, making you stop but didn't turn around to look at them.

"I came back early than expected from overseas to not only present this award to my fiance but to also say that..." She paused turning to look at him. "We are expecting a little hero soon in our lives as well."

Katsuki's eyes widened in shock. "Y-you're... pregnant?..."

She smiled. "I found out two weeks ago, I'm four weeks along. You're going to be a dad."

That was the last straw you needed to run out of the event as quickly as you could before he even noticed that you were gone.

Katsuki looked out into the crowd hoping you'd still be there but realized you had already left. "I have to go." He said.

Uraraka then grabbed a hold of his forearm stopping him. "Where are you going? You can't just leave after what I told you."

"I don't have time to discuss this right now, okay?" He stated trying to pull his arm away but her grip tightened.

"I'm pregnant, Katsuki! You said we would talk about us-"

He cut her off. "Yeah as in not being together anymore."

"You can't do this to me!" She yelled.

Finally he pulled his arm back far enough and left to go after you, hoping he wasn't too late to stop you.

"Katsuki!" She yelled out to him.

But he ignored her, because the only thing on his mind was you.

You were able to run away as far as you could from the event before one of your heals broke. You tried to calm yourself down but it was difficult. The only sounds that were coming out of you were cries of anger and sadness.

You didn't care if you looked like a mess or if someone would recognize you in the state you were in. All you wished for was for the pain to disappear, to let the ground swallow you whole. You sat down at a near by bus stop, letting your body rest from all the running.

"W-why..." You mumbled rested your elbows on your knees, "Why the hell did he lie?..." you said covering your face with your hands.

Katsuki ran down the sidewalk, looking at every direction trying to find you. "Y/n!" He yelled out, feeling hopeless about finding you but he didn't want to give up, not yet. "Y/n!" He needed to see you.

He ran his fingers through his hair, pulling it slightly at how angry he felt at himself. "Damn it! Fuck, I need to her." It was best if he took a moment from running and walked instead. He knew if he used all his energy, he wasn't going to be able to locate you. "Where are you?"

Taking out his phone he tried calling you once again, hoping this time it wouldn't go to voicemail. "Come on..." He mumbled, the ringing then stopped feeling grateful you took the call. "Thank god, Y/n-" But it was only the call going to voicemail again. "Y/n, please answer the phone. I know I screwed up and you don't want to see me but we need to talk. I'm worried about you. Please call me back."

"I need to keep walking... chances are she's somewhere nearby." He wasn't ready to lose hope but reality was starting to settle in, sooner or later he would have to accept it.

Not even three blocks, into walking he came across you sitting at a bus stop alone. Your back was arched, as your face rested on your palms. It broke him apart seeing how hurt you looked, knowing he was the cause for your pain. Now that he found you he didn't know what to say.

Slowly he walked up to not trying to scare you thinking it was a stranger trying to bother you. "Y/n..."

Your body tensed up hearing his voice. You hoped it had been your imagination until he spoke again.

"Y/n... can we please talk?..."

"Why should I even bother with giving you any second to talk to me?..."

He sat down next to you hoping you'd turn to look at him but never did. "You deserve an explanation-"

"I don't even want to hear you... I don't want to hear your excuse..."

"I'm not going to make any excuse... I know I'm the one at fault for hiding it from you... but please," he begged. "Look at me... please y/n." Gently he reached forward holding your wrists and pulling them away from your face.

You turned to look at him with puffy eyes. "Why did you lie to me?..."

"I wanted to tell you... but I wanted to after I broke things off with her."

"So that's why you asked me to keep this a secret huh?" You sniffled, feeling your vision turn blurry. "Not because of work ethic or work policy! Y-you wanted to hide the fact that... that you were having an affair with someone else from work!"

"That's not true-"

"It's not?!" You cried out. "Then why didn't you tell me you were already with someone huh?! You fucking lied to me this entire time, Katsuki!"

"I wanted to tell you, y/n." He breathed out. "I-I told her that we needed to talk when she came back from overseas but I never thought that she was pregnant."

You pulled away from him. "So you just expect me to accept it as it is-"

"No, I don't expect you to."

"Then why didn't you tell me sooner?!" You exclaimed. "If you care about someone you don't go lie to their face every day! Much or less use the excuse that we couldn't be public because of a work policy bullshit!"

"If I had told you would you have stayed with me?" He retorted.

"It would have made a difference, Katsuki!"

"No it wouldn't of had, I know you too well that you wouldn't want to talk to me." A sigh escaped his lips. "I didn't want to lose you, the day Uraraka left I told her we needed to talk."

"It seemed like you did more than talk with her..." You whispered feeling the tears form again.

There was no way that you would forgive him. He understood he messed up, but he still didn't want to give up on you.

"Can we please start over?..."

"Even if we did..." You wiped your tears away with the back of your hand. "I can't believe anything you say anymore... I fell in love with you. I've never felt something so strong for someone before... it hurts to know that you still slept with her and didn't bother to stop it... you continued it..."

Katsuki blinked rapidly as his heart broke into two. "I wanted to end it as soon as I could... I realized I fell for you much faster than I ever thought I would," his voice cracked. "I wasn't going to stay beside someone that didn't make me feel the way you did, Y/n."

"Are you just saying that because you got caught-"

"What? No, I'm saying it because I want to be with you." He softly said. "I fell for you in ways I never thought I would for anyone. The moment you started to talk to me... all I wanted was to keep seeing you." Carefully he cupped the side of your face. "Uraraka had disappeared from my mind the moment I realized I wanted to be with you."

"But you can't leave her... she's pregnant."

"I'll be there for my child, I won't stop supporting them even if I won't be by their side." He said.

"The child isn't at fault though... I won't feel good if you leave them to be with me-"

"I'm not going to force myself to be with someone that I don't love." His eyes turned glossy as he looked at you in the eyes. "I don't want to be away from you... I want to wake up by your side and see you every day."

"I want that more than anything but..." You sniffled. "If people find out that'll ruin your reputation Katsuki! You've worked so hard to become the number one hero. I don't want to ruin that for you."

"Listen to me," he held your face with both his hands. "I don't give a damn about what people say, I don't care if my reputation goes down hill for something that doesn't matter and isn't any of their business. I rather give that all up if it means being by your side."

You wanted to give in, to say yes even if the pain was still present. You hesitantly rested your hands on top of his, a tear fell down onto his skin. Your eyes closed as he leaned in resting his forehead against yours.

"I love you so much... y/n." He whispered against your lips.

"I love you too."

A sound of footsteps could be heard coming your way. But you both blocked it out knowing you would be separating soon. All you wanted was to stay with him, to feel his warmth.

"I'm sorry to interrupt you guys... but they're looking for you, Bakugo."

You both pulled away turning your head while Katsuki looked over his shoulder to see Midoriya standing there next to Todoroki.

"Who?" He asked holding your hand in his tightly.

"The press along with Uraraka." Todoroki answered.

"You should go..." You softly said. "It's best if you go and talk to them especially... Uraraka."

Katsuki felt torn apart he knew he had to talk to Uraraka but he didn't want to tear himself away from you. He wanted to stay by your side and forget about everyone else.

"I can talk to them tomorrow, right now you're more important-"

"No." You took your hand away from his. "It's not right... you and her need to talk. If I was in her shoes I'd want the same thing." Standing up you wiped away the tears that remained on your cheeks.

Katsuki did the same and stood still standing next to you. "Y/n." He said looking at you with sad eyes. "We still have a lot to talk about."

"We can do that when you're done with everything else." You turned to look at Todoroki and Midoriya.

"I hate to bother you guys but if it's alright with you can you give me a ride back home? It's too late to call a taxi at this hour."

"Yeah it's no problem." Todoroki said. "I can give you a ride I was deciding on heading back myself too."

"Then I'll head back with Kaachan." Midoriya said.

"Thank you." You said.

Katsuki turned to look at them. "Make sure you take care of her, be careful and don't go fast. If anything happens to her I won't hesitate-"

"Katsuki."

A sigh escaped his lips. "Thanks." He mumbled.

A faint smile rested on Todoroki's face. "Sure."

"Call me when you get home, alright?" Katsuki said looking at you.

"I'll send you message since I know you'll be busy."

"I love you." He softly said.

You gave him a small smile. "I love you too."

After looking at each other for a minute, you gently held the right side of his face. He leaned into your touch closing his eyes. Katsuki covered your hand with his own, trying to memorize your delicate soft skin.

You then pulled away and walked over to Todoroki.

"My car is just up the street." He said.

"That's alright."

Katsuki watched as you walked farther away from him. Midoriya looked at him with sad eyes, despite how strong he seems on the outside he knew his friend was hurting.

"Are you ready, Kaachan?"

"No, but let's get this crap over with." He answered. "The sooner I get this done the faster I'll be able to be with her."

All he hoped was that you would be willing to forgive him even after keeping it from you. There's no other place he'd rather be than in your arms.
