───
YOUR MOTHER’S STRONG HOLD—on the country, on the castle, on her children, and on you in particular as the oldest—was suffocating. You were destined to rule over millions, and your mother would not let you forget it. You had to be strong, caring for your people but unforgiving to others. That’s how she ruled. She’d shape you to be the same queen she was, and she’ll drill it into your head herself if she needs to.
Your pride would never allow you to say this to her face, but you supposed that she did a good enough job. The people loved her: she kept them safe and fed, gave them more than enough to start caring beyond their necessities and seek self-actualization, to flourish in the arts. She wasn’t very popular among foreign lands, and you might even go on to say that they feared her. She was often fair when wronged, but very rarely did she ever pardon those wrongs. She has never, in the time you've been alive.
Once, when you were very little and you were still taking lessons with some children of noble descent, you heard them repeat a saying they’d learn from their parents:
“Loving are her eyes, beauty bestowed, but fear the night the Hawk catches you lurking near her nest, lest you desire your entrails be fed to the eyas nights on end.”
They spoke of their Queen with reverence and adoration.
Her way of ruling worked well for many years; you got to live a life of peace and prosperity the entirety of your childhood. Not many other kingdoms can say the same.
On top of your queenly history lessons and politics and mathematics and the sciences, she wanted you to be good at protecting yourself. While she has acquired the most apt Royal Guard, a future queen must still be able to hold her own. She ordered only the best archers and swords to teach you, and you were…decent, at it. The years of practice successfully stuck some things into you: how to hold a sword and a bow and arrow, which body parts to target, how to be light in your feet (this one was specifically useful whenever you wanted to leave the royal palace).
In your defense, your natural sensibilities were drawn to something else entirely. You’d always say reading was a more sensible passage of time. You would spend hours upon hours lounging in one of the library nooks or on a blanket in the palace gardens, surrounded by the pastel of the flowers.
You were in that garden when the assassin took a knife to your throat.
You lived, but it scared your mother terribly. Surprising—since you’d never known her to be a person who had any fears. In your mind, it could only mean two things. One, she loved you to some extent—she might just have a weird way of expressing it. Two, someone was threatening her bloodline and consequently, perhaps more importantly, someone was threatening her throne.
And she will not let that happen in her lifetime.
───
It has been two weeks since your throat was sliced open. Two weeks since the doctor instructed you to minimize strenuous activity and if you could, stay in bed as to not open the stitches.
‘You don’t know how lucky you are,’ the doctor has told you every day after your daily checkup. You know this, of course. Had the knife gone any deeper and had your court ladies not been around the corner, you’d be dead. It was, however, a hilarious thought that someone would bring a blunt knife to an assassination.
Your mother didn’t think it was funny. But in your delicate state, the anger in her eyes had never been funnier, and it pained your throat whenever you’d attempt to laugh.
“Will you stop it? The doctor spent hours on those. What will we do if they scar?” You rolled your eyes in response and she scoffed. “Glad to see you’re as genteel as ever, it’d be a shame if you had lost that lively nature of yours.” It sounded sarcastic, but she meant it. She did not want you to be passive. In her mind, that would only led to you becoming spineless and spineless Queen can't rule. You ignored her words, instead gesturing for one of the maids to bring you a cup of water.
“I’ve arranged for the competition to take place tomorrow, do you think you’ll be up for it?”
You furrowed your brows, “Competition?” Your voice came out roughly. The stitches began to itch.
Your mother groaned, “Please refrain from speaking, but yes, competition, have you not been listening to me? The best soldiers and eligible men have been traveling from across the nation for some time now. The men will fight and we shall see who is best equipped to protect the Crown Princess.”
“Must—” you coughed, “must we make them fight? Can’t we just pick one?”
“Just pick one?” She looked into your eyes incredulously, “You must have hit your head and injured your intelligences if you think I’d let just any one person be in charge of you. You must have the best.”
“Yes, Mother.”
“Very well.” She nodded once, “The doctor has cleared you to attend so rest, you will be awakened bright and early tomorrow!”
She walked out of the room and left you to your devices. You sighed. You allowed your court ladies to help you out of your daily garments, clean your wound, place the ointment and replace the bandage.
You repeated the process in the morning, placing a necklace over the bandage, ensuring it is not too tight but stays in place. You prepared for the days’ events, and after a couple of restrained breaths, you walked out of the room with your court ladies in toe.
───
Bada Lee spent her childhood just outside the place. Her family had raised generations of soldiers, many of which served in the Royal Guard. That was, until her father was dismissed and demoted to being a simple guard in the rural countryside. He had dedicated his entire life to the Queen and it was a shock to everyone when he’d been told of his dismissal. Up to his last breath, he’d grow angry whenever she’d asked him why. Why did we leave? How could a loving Queen throw us away as if we were nothing? She’d been upheaved from the City, and littered some place where she’d have to fight if she wanted anything to come from her life. Well, fight harder than she’d have to in the City.
Still, she knew that it didn’t matter where she was. Whether in the Capital City or the countryside, external expectations would have her be a wife and a mother soon after. She watched her mother suffer under these conditions, watched her neighbors, and the change in her friends’ nature as they came of age and were married off. They were all unhappy.
She’d be damned if she was destined to a miserable marriage. But above all, she’d be damned if she dies a nobody. Just another woman, forgotten by history.
Nope. That’s not her.
Growing up, she loved watching her father and brother train. She’d try to join, but her father would quickly push her away. She would try day after day, but it couldn’t be helped. So she turned to making her own sword out of a fallen tree branch. She’d copy their movements, the placement of their feet and how the air would rest in their lungs and rush out with the lunge of the sword—well, the lunge of the stick for her. Her brother agreed to train with her, but in his teenage years, he grew resentful of her talent. He decided to begin training a different skill, archery, but soon enough, he realized that this too came naturally for her. Over the years he turned to different combat skills, only for Bada to overpower him again and again. One day, he stopped helping her at all.
It was a cold winter when the sickness spread across the countryside. It was the sickness that took her father and it was the sickness that took her brother. The town had to develop a new burial site due to the amount of people that died at the beginning of the season. Death didn't relent there; people continued dying and dying until that site was full with bodies.
By the time her family succumbed to their sickness, there was nowhere to put them. For days on end, her only company was their cold bodies. She had placed them in a separate room, putting as much distance as she could. As the winter grew colder and she stared at the makeshift tomb’s door, she realized she depended entirely on them. As it stood, she was nothing, less than nothing, by herself. It was a matter of time before someone hunted her down, a young woman without any male relatives left and tried to turn her into a sellable thing.
She’d be damned.
In a feat of fear and anger, she grabbed her brother’s clothes and changed into them and styled her hair as he would. She looked into the small mirror, surprised to see that her crazy plan might just work.
But she needed to make people think it was her that died.
The day the town hall proposed a mass burial, she changed her brother’s clothes into her own and loosened his hair from the top knot it was in. She shaved his beard, feeling disgusted at the act and with herself for feeling the need to do this. She pushed through: this was about her survival. She reported the bodies, and snuck into the site later that night. Sure, she would be shamelessly taking her brother’s identity from this day forward, but that did not mean she would bury her brother in anything other than his clothes. She did not want that karma. Plus she could afford to lose one of the five hanboks.
The next day, she watched anxiously as they buried the mass of bodies.
She should’ve felt terrible about her relief once they were under the soil, and she did, she would miss them. At some point during the week she lived with their corpses, she forgave them for any bad they did to her. She could only think of the good things now, her father’s jjigae and her brother’s light banter.
She did feel bad, but at the same time, a weight had been lifted. She wouldn’t need to get married now, she could pursue something, she could walk around at night without a chaperone and she could talk to people without worrying about being seen as vulgar.
Yes, under her disguise, she was finally free.
───
Lee Bada had been Lee Hae for a year by the time the Queen requested all eligible soldiers to report to the Capital City. Her commanding officer recommended her to go as one of the top soldiers under his command. She has managed to climb her way through the ranks, demonstrating her strength wherever she went.
Nobody knew the Mother of the Nation had called them to the palace, but if only the strongest were allowed to go, then Bada was going to make sure she was at top.
It was strange being back in the Capital City and even weirder to see the inside of the palace when all she’d known before was its gates.
Bada stood in line with the rest of the soldiers in the palace’s courtyard, towering over some of them. Her back maintained straight, her head held high, as the Crown Princess approached the Queen. She bowed to the queen and sat down next to her. Bada controlled her facial expressions, but her feelings couldn’t be helped. The Crown Princess had made the soldiers wait under the sun, and now she had the audacity to look bored. Despite being so far away, she could see the way you whispered into one of your court ladies’ ears and how they covered their mouth. The laughter showed in their eyes though. In contrast, your attempt to cover your giggle was lazy, your hand falling from the front of your mouth before you could control your expression once more. Bada wanted to scoff. Had you no decency? Before Bada’s bitterness could grow further, the Queen began speaking.
“Welcome, loyal soldiers and citizens. I have invited you here today to compete for the highest honor of joining the Royal Guard and protecting your Crown Princess.” Her open palm gestured to her side, where the Princess sat gracefully. “It is a title that comes with great responsibility, and requires skill, power and loyalty. It would please me for each of you to partake and serve your country in the process. If you wish to stay, please take a step forward.”
Each of the four hundred soldiers took a step, the sound booming through the courtyard. Bada did not look to see if any citizens had stepped forward.
“I am so glad! The competition consists of a six stages with different ‘games.’ You must accumulate enough points in each stage to successfully move up to the next one. Today, we shall begin the first stage. You must ride out into the woods and bring back a rabbit that has been trapped and hidden. There are only two hundred rabbits.” the Queen paused and with a clap of her hands, “Go!”
───
“I don’t get the point of this game,” You stated without looking up from your book. “They’ve been out there for hours and no one is back yet.”
“Patience, daughter,” the Queen responded, “There must be a basis to being a good protector, is there not? Wouldn’t you say that enduring long distance and persevering in the woods is a good baseline?”
“You are so creative, Mother,” you sighed into your book, “You can come up with such fantastical scenarios.”
“So you would rather have someone who doesn’t know how to endure long distances riding and persevere in the woods?”
You didn’t respond.
The first to arrive was a seasoned soldier. He had been part of the Royal Guard for more than a decade, and was known for his hunting skills. The second person caught your mother’s attention. One tall and broad-shouldered man rushed through the Palace gates with 4 rabbits hanging from his horse with a robe. He dismounted, grabbing the robe, throwing it on the ground and bowing before the Queen.
“Seowol from the Southern coast, your Royal Highness.”
“Seowol?” Your mother questioned, “It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I do believe you were only supposed to take one rabbit.”
“I wanted to secure a strong position, your Highness.” He remained in a bowed position, looking down, his arms stiff along his body.
“Certainly! Please follow eunuch Jinho to the bathroom and a change of clothes. You’ll be called when everyone has arrived.” He looked up and nodded, and quickly did as instructed.
The court ladies swooned over the man once he’d walked away, but you hardly moved.
“Did you see the way he looked at you? Oh!” the young lady fanned her hand. You chuckled, amused by the younger girl’s reaction.
“The way he got off his horse and showed the rabbits, he was so cool!”
“And handsome! Don’t forget handsome!”
You rolled your eyes at that one, “He wasn’t even that handsome.”
“So you do think he was handsome!” They all laughed, having caught something in your words.
“Listen to me, I said he was not all that handsome.” You repeated, “I’ve seen better.”
They gushed, trying to get you to elaborate, but your mother was beginning to look at you sideways. You thought it was better to stop then. With the light hearted fun you were having with your ladies, you forgot all about the dull ache of your throat. The reason you were having this ridiculous competition in the first place. The truth was there was something about Seowol that disgusted you. You couldn’t quite place it, it could be the abruptness in his movements and the way he threw the rabbits on the ground, or perhaps the coldness behind his eyes. A mindless cruelty to innocent beings.
Returner after returner, it was the same and they started blending into each other. They’d rush through the gates, and present the robed rabbit in front of the Queen before they bowed. They announced their name loudly, as if shouting would make the Queen remember them better. The cook would take the rabbit and disappear to the kitchens.
That was, until number 73th entered the yard. The sun was beginning to set, leaving the sky in a canvas of lovely purples and pinks. You didn’t notice him at first, but soon your ladies began to whisper. This particular soldier entered calmly, and only one hand on the horse’s bridle. A small ball of white highlighted by the black of his uniform. As he got closer, you saw that the white speck of fluff was the rabbit. He cradled it on his left arm, making sure it didn’t jump or fall. Once he’d reach the stage, he dismounted carefully. You noticed his height, and for the life of you, you couldn’t figure out how his shoulders managed to look both broad and slender at the same time. He came closer, bowing deeply before your mother and to your surprise, he began to approach you.
He was quickly stopped by your mother’s guards blocking his path.
“Please, your Royal Highness, let him approach,” You surprised yourself. For the past two weeks, you were scared you were growing paranoid of strangers and people in general. The fear was earned to some extent, you had just been attacked, but you were even more afraid that you’d grow to be scared of everyone, everything, and never come out of your bedroom ever again. Though, now, as you look over at your mother to let the stranger approach you, it seemed this fear wasn’t going to be an issue after all. You were going to be okay. In a lower voice this time, “Please, Mother.”
She rolled her eyes discreetly, waving her hand. “Let him through.”
The guards retracted. The man moved closer to you, and he bowed. You noticed the smoothness of his jaw, the curve of his lips and the pretty way his lashes decorated his pretty brown eyes. He was pretty. So much so you held your breath when his eyes finally met yours.
“My Princess.” He smiled, “For you.”
Oh.
Someone behind you gasped, and you were glad for the noise because that way he might not be able to hear the beating of your heart.
“May I?”
You nodded, despite not knowing what you had agreed to. The man walked even closer to you, and you unconsciously leaned forward. He placed the bunny in your hands, and you searched for his lingering fingers through the white fluff. He retrieved far too soon. You wanted to touch him for some reason. You wanted him to get close again and you wanted him to call you, once again, his prin—
“And what might your name be?” Your mother was not amused.
“Soldier Lee Hae, your Royal Highness.” He addressed his queen but his eyes never left yours.
“Lee, huh? You do know that was your dinner, correct? You won’t have dinner?” Your head snapped to your mother. She could not possibly!
“As long as my Princess is content, my stomach shall never be empty.”
Your head snapped back at him, a slightly ajar mouth. The corners of your mouth lifted slightly, but a sharp pain in your neck scared any adoring feelings away. The stitches tugged on your skin, and you brought your hand to your neck.
“Very well, no dinner. You may sit down, Soldier Lee Hae.”
───
Well, that was fucking stupid. Bada groaned, grabbing her stomach. She just had to give that damned rabbit to the Crown Princess, didn’t she? Even now, hours after dinner and well into their resting time, Bada could not decipher why she chose to spare the rabbit.
You had just looked so beautiful, and before she knew it, she was right in front of you. And as she remembers the look on your face when she gave you the bunny, your parted lips and your widening eyes as you looked up at her, Bada realized she only regretted her choice slightly.
There was no denying your beauty. Everyone knew that while you might be the Crown, you were also the prettiest bird in the eyes of the people.
But Bada couldn’t get distracted. She came here with a purpose. She was going to join the Royal Guard and bring back honor to her family. You might have been eye candy, but it didn’t change the fact that you represented what Bada lost, what she never realistically had a chance at.
It killed her. It killed her that they had a woman King and yet every other woman was still viewed as inferior. Did the only women that mattered lived in the palace? You got to be trained, you got to study the books—why couldn’t they? Why was it that she will need to pretend to be a boy for the rest of her life to feel free?
Could it be helped? Would you be different from your mother?
Her mind turned to her selfish thoughts. Perhaps she could use today’s events to her advantage. She could grow closer to you, on purpose this time, and perhaps that’d help her on the long run. She’d earn her position, of course; that was nonnegotiable.
The hunger grew furiously as she got lost in her thoughts. She couldn’t take it any longer. She got up, quickly wrapping the tight cloth over her chest. She hid a small knife on the inside of her left wrist, a security measure, though she was unlikely to need it. She grabbed something to cover herself with and left the small room she’d been provided with.
She was lucky to finish stage 1 where she did. When the last of the 197 soldiers that would pass on to the next stage arrived, they were well into dinner. The Queen had stated that for the remaining stages of the competition, only the top half scorers would receive a sole bedroom. Everyone else will sleep in the Great Hall. She reasoned it was to keep up the morale and ramp up ambition. It certainly did motivate Bada though. She did not wish to sleep uncomfortably among the stinky men. It was so weird, Bada knew they showered and mere hours later, a musk would develop around them.
She walked towards the kitchens as quietly as she could. Once there, she rummaged through the shelves, searching for something that was not a raw vegetable.
“Please, please, please…” She murmured to herself, and in her desperation, she did not hear the footsteps coming from the side entrance.
“Who is there?” A voice resounded. Bada froze, quickly kneeling down and hidden under the shelf. Fuck! “As Crown Princess, I command you to reveal yourself!”
The Princess? What was she doing up this late?
Bada had hoped that it was a younger staff member also searching for food (someone she could try her charm on), a simple guard (someone she could try to relate to and proclaim guard-to-guard solidarity), hell, she’d even hoped for a thief (someone who was even guiltier than she was). But the Princess? The Princess was someone she could not face. Perhaps for more than one reason.
As discreetly as she could, she crawled towards the end of the shelf. Across from here, there was a long table she could hide under and right across the table was the entrance.
She could make it.
If only she hadn’t run directly into the Princess’ feet.
She landed on her knees, and dread filled her head. She hung it in shame, some hair coming loose and framing her face. So this is how she would die, huh? With nothing to her name, a mere soldier title that she didn’t even earn herself. She would die without a legacy, without—
“Is that you, Lee Hae?” Your voice sounded extra sweet under the moonlight. “How come you’re out here at this time?”
She wanted the earth to open and swallow her whole. But there was no getting out of this.
“Princess Royal, please forgive my shamelessness.” She did not look up, still on her knees. “In my hunger, I forgot my place. I beg for your forgiveness.”
There was a long silence after Bada finished talking. Should she have said more? She was already on her knees, what else could she do to humiliate herself in front of the Princess?
“You’re telling me my contentment was not enough for you?”
Bada lifted her head quickly, only to realize too late you were mere inches away. You were so close she could count each beauty mark, each freckle on your face. She’d kiss them if you’d let her. She shook her head. Stupid Bada, concentrate on not dying!
“That isn’t it at all, my Princess.” She shook her head violently, to which you chuckled in response, lifting your hand to cover your mouth.
“So you’re a liar, then.”
“No, no! I am not, my Princess,” Bada opened her palms, “I will admit that as earnestly as my heart believes a smile from you is all I ever need to survive in this world, my earthly body persists in imprisoning me with cravings. I sincerely did not mean to succumb to my hunger.”
You watched the young soldier as they hung their head once more. You thought Lee was…funny. Funny in a very lovely and forward way that you couldn’t help but want more of. You brought a hand closer to her face, fingers lifting her chin.
Bada allowed the princess to lift her face, flushing at the contact. She could feel the heat rushing to her face, and it embarrassed her that you could have this effect on her. How you made her lose composure.
“Look at me,” you stated. Your head followed the brown eyes as they moved, trying to get them to look at you. “Soldier Lee, look at me.” You said it firmly this time around. Finally, the person in question did as asked. Big eyes looked up at you, begging for something you weren’t sure you could give.
“You know, Soldier Lee, you are the prettiest man I’ve ever met.”
Oh.
Widened eyes and dropped jaw, “I—”
‘I am not a man,’ she wanted to say. She almost did, and the fact that she nearly gave herself away scared her. She had never come this close to telling someone the truth. Not on impulse nor consciously. To the Princess no less! She was a mess. She’d better get a hold of herself if she intends on making it through.
Bada had proven that she was good with words, and here you were, leaving her stunned. You enjoyed it, maybe a bit too much. Abruptly, you stood up, leaving the soldier down on her knees. You offered a hand, and it was like a spell being broken. She took it. She gathered herself and she was back into the charming and highly trained voice. Your curiosity for the soldier grew as you watched; there was just something that screamed constraint in the way Lee spoke, but for now, you chucked it up to the respectability rules of the Queendom.
“I am sorry for interrupting your night, your Highness. I will take my leave.” Bada turned, but was quickly stopped when you grabbed her wrist.
It surprised both of you. As a noble princess, you had been taught from a young age that nobody but appointed servants get to come in contact with your skin. Yet here you were—two for two.
“Well, actually,” you began, “I’m here because I did not want you to go to sleep hungry.” You let go of Bada’s wrist, and she already missed the warmth of your skin on hers. It had been such a long time since anyone had touched her outside of training.
You signaled for her to follow you. She did, and you guided her to a small table on a corner. A small, white towel covered something and when you lifted it, Bada’s eyes widened. A golden serving tray filled with dishes.
“I ordered something be cooked for you,” you said, hands fidgeting, “I’m afraid it’s probably cold by now. I would’ve tried to get you sooner but my Mother kept me by her side much longer than I expected.”
“I—Thank you, your Royal Highness.” Bada bowed, stomach rumbling and mouth watering. “Thank you.”
“Please, you don’t have to do that.” You said quickly, “You were kind to me, and I couldn’t let my mother punish you for it.” You moved to pick up the tray, glaring at Bada when she tried to hold it for you instead. “I can do it! Plus, I know a spot.”
You walked gracefully, quickly, without spilling a single thing on the tray. Bada was amazed. The both of you stuck to the sides of buildings, remaining in the shadows. Bada anxiously looked around; what would people think if they saw her with the Princess? What rumors will they spread, and how much will they cost her? Her life?
“Through there.” The door was covered with greenery, and Bada could not see the door.
She moved closer to you, whispering into your ear, “where?”
She genuinely couldn’t see it.
You shivered. You could faintly feel her chest against your back, and the warmth it radiated.
You shook your head.
“Here, hold this.” You passed the tray to Bada, making quick work of the hidden door. You opened it and walked through. You moved the vines for Bada, she bent down and met you on the other side.
“Wow…” She gasped. It was a beautiful space, filled with colorful flowers and a pond, four trees on each corner. There was a small house, and Bada doubted it was more than just a bedroom and a bathroom.
“It is the old gardener’s place, but he died and it became abandoned.” You said, placing the tray on the wooden ledge in front of the small house. “The new gardener had a family, so he understandably needed a bigger space.”
You giggled nervously, and Bada found herself loving the sound. She got so lost in your voice and the pretty flowers that she nearly forgot how hungry she was. Nearly.
Bada sat down next to you.
“It’s beautiful.”
“I know!” She said excitedly, your eyes sparkling with joy, “Mother thought of destroying it and building something else but I just loved it so much, I wouldn’t let her. I begged her to let me have it for days, she agreed eventually and now it’s my little place! Very few people know about it; my Mother, the new gardener, my lady-in-waiting, you…”
You finished shyly, smiling at Bada before quickly looking away. Would it be too forward of her to grab your face and make you look at her?
Yes, she decided, yes, it would be.
Her stomach growled.
“Oh,” You gasped, “Please eat! I didn’t mean to make you wait.”
“Please, eat with me.”
“No, no, I ate quite well earlier,” you said, “and you didn’t!”
“I don’t want to eat by myself,” Bada said, “Princess, eat with me, please.”
“I’m telling you I won’t,” refusing her once more, “I'll force feed you this meal myself if you don’t start eating soon.”
“Is that a proposition?” Bada smirked. Your cheeks grew warm against your will.
“I only mean… I want you to eat, you have gone hungry because of me. I don’t want you to be hungry any longer.”
“Would you feed me then?” Bada’s eyes looked down at yours, “If I asked you to?”
You cleared your throat, eyes meeting. “Forgive me, soldier, if I’ve come across in a certain light. But I will never feed a man with two capable hands of his own.”
Bada saw the intensity in your eyes, and how they refused to look away from her hers. She leaned closed, eyes growing dangerous the longer she stayed fixated on you.
“You say ‘a man with two capable hands’ but what if I wasn’t a man? How can you be sure that I am?” Bada brought a hand closer to you, “How do you know these work?” She had gone crazy. In your gaze, she had forgotten herself.
Still, in the back of her mind: if she wasn’t in disguise now, would you feed her then?
You finally broke eye contact, looking down at Bada’s hand. It surprised you how much you wanted to hold it, it surprised you even more when your body started reacting to it. A simple hand with long fingers. A calloused hand from days spent training, yet unlike the hands of the men you’ve encountered. Their hands didn’t bring this strange feeling to your stomach. You mind showed you images of these very hands moving along your body; from the nape of your neck, down your side and in between your—
You scoffed, and then chuckled, “Please don’t be ridiculous, soldier Lee. Now, eat, the food is getting colder by the second.”
Bada covered her feelings with a laugh. She was relieved you ignored her impulsive questions, and at the same time, your response left a bitter taste in her mouth. You were just being nice this entire time? Was there really nothing else in your lingering touches and loving eyes? They were childish questions, but it stung nonetheless. She sighed internally; she couldn’t possibly be getting this close now. It was normal to a certain extent, she had the tendency to develop crushes all the time. Sure, developing one in the Princess would complicate the 'get close to you and advance her career' plot, but she was already here.
All her crushes have faded with time, and this one will too.
Bada finally began eating and she was grateful to you once again. She said so, with cheeks full of food and complete disregard for rules. Rules, you had both broken some many of them already, why start caring about them now?

Dating Bada Lee | Drabble
Tumblr media
"I'm home!" Bada said as she shut the door behind her. She tossed her bag onto the sofa and placed the food she bought on the counter. "Baby, where are you?" she asked out loud.
"Y/N- YAH!" Bada exclaimed as Y/N suddenly threw herself onto Bada's back. She wrapped her legs around Bada's torso and began showering her face with kisses.
"Enough already," Bada protested, but she couldn't help but smile. Her girlfriend always knew how to cheer her up, even during a bad day.
"I missed you, so shut up and let me do this," Y/N mumbled, her words coming out in a rush of affection. Y/N kissed her on the lips, pressing herself tightly against her. She held the kiss for a moment, breathing in the warmth and scent of her lover.
"You big baby," Bada said through the kiss.
Before Y/N could reply, a heavenly smell hit her nose and she turned towards the kitchen. "You bought food," she said, heading for the counter with eagerness.
Bada groaned, not ready for the moment to end. "I wasn't done," she said, wanting Y/N's warmth back.
"I know," Y/N said, a playful look in her eyes. "You can wait a moment longer, food is calling me"
Bada could not help but snicker as she observed her girl's excitement. She had no idea what she had done in a previous life to be this lucky having such a wonderful girlfriend. She and Y/N were so different, yet there was such a striking attraction between them. Like the phrase went, opposites attract, and Bada's fans frequently refered the lovers as "black cat and golden retriever girlfriends"
"Leave some for me," Bada whispered in a teasing voice, and quickly placed her arms around Y/N's waist from behind. She gave her lover a light kiss on her shoulder, causing her to laugh feeling ticklish.
Y/N cut a piece of fried chicken and brought it up to Bada's mouth, hoping to share in the delicious treat. Bada happily opened her mouth, and let Y/N feed her
"I love you," Bada said, pecking her lips.
"I love you more,"

The Duplicate. (Special Chapter)
pairing: bada lee x 1million member!reader
genre: fluff, a bit humor-ish... bc... king bada is here again. overprotective bada, the rest of team bebe being the biggest instigators.
den's notes: i suggest reading the first part here. ♡ this is dedicated to team bebe, our champion crew! also, this is dedicated to those who enjoyed the first one-shot i posted here. i never expected the support. 🥺 anyways, this is not proofread, but still enjoy!
Tumblr media
D-Day. The finale episode has arrived, and everyone has been practicing hard, perfecting their final routines. You and Bada became so busy with your crews that the two of you only meet after long hours of dance practices. The both of you understood and instead became each other's support. The two are in the final four crews, after all.
One thing that piqued their interest is that they will be shooting with Street Gagwoman Fighter 2 casts. The other members are not worried, but you're a different case.
You would recall Bada getting jealous over your interactions with King Bada. Although you had assured her many times, she would still get affected whenever their closest peers from different crews tease you because of it. (You guys had a big group chat with all the 8 crews, and the Wolf 'Lo ladies won't shut up about it. They love teasing Bada about it.)
And now, Bada told you that she will shoot with King Bada and her crew.
Before the shoot starts, you went over their crew room, greeting all the girls good luck then head over to Bada and surprised her with a tight backhug.
"Hey, cutie."
You can feel her flinch and turned around quickly, her eyes wide when she saw you. "Baby! You're here! Are you done with the voting ad shoot?" She asked as her hands find your cheeks and cupped it gently.
"Already done! I begged PD to let me in here and watch."
Just as Bada is about to reply, Mijin, the one who plays King Bada enters the room all smileys yet you can feel her nervousnes as she is going to finally meet her.
The rest of BEBE were in awe to see King Bada, and gushed about how she looks extremely similar with their team leader.
Mijin spots the two of you and waved, to which you reciprocated. You felt her arms tightened around yours and you looked up at Bada, staring at her doppelganger.
Tatter and Kyma were the first ones to notice the actions of their leader towards you, then approached Mijin, whispering something to her and her reaction to what they told her gained laughter from the rest of the team.
"You can do it, King Bada-nim!" Kyma cheered, lightly pushing Mijin towards you two. Tatter on the other hand were laughing hard behind her. Lusher and Cheche just shook their heads while Sowoen and Minah stood there, utterly confused.
Mijin, or King Bada strided towards the couple with confidence, with her hands on the pockets of her khaki pants.
"Lee Bada." Your eyebrows raised when Mijin approached you and Bada, confused as to what she's going to do.
"King Bada." Your girlfriend answered while her arms tightened around you more.
"I'm taking my girl back." Mijin/King Bada responded with confidence and tried pulling you to her side. The girls gasped and squealed in the background. Bada scoffed and pulled you back. "You mean, my girl?"
Not gonna lie, this exchange with the comedienne and Bada being more quite possessive is hot, you thought. Mijin just cowers and hid behind team BEBE, muttering apologies and that she was just joking, even telling that it was Tatter's and Kyma's idea.
The two instigators just laughed their asses off, satisfied at how the exchange turned out to be.
Before Bada became sulky, you cupped both her cheeks and assured her. This calmed the female down a bit and let go of you to greet the comedienne, apologizing for her slightly hostile behavior towards her.
They proceeded with the shoot. A couple of takes has been made but they finished just in time. You were watching from behind the scenes and you noticed that Bada and her crew are doing very well. The atmosphere lightened up and as they finished the shoot, they took pictures with Mijin while they praised her.
Lusher slides herself beside you and placed an arm around you. "Unnie, your presence here boosted the morale of the team, especially Bada-unnie's."
You smiled at the younger's words, "Well, even though both of us are competitors in this show, we promised that we'll be each other's support pillar when times got hard."
"Bada-unnie's happiness is ours."
You patted the small of her back, thanking her for being so appreciative with your relationship with their leader.
"I think you, Bada-unnie, and King Bada-nim needs a selca. The fans would love it!" Lusher states with a mischievous grin and dragged you towards them.
Lusher told the girls about her idea, to which they agreed with. Bada was hesitant at first, since it's her sub-leader's way of teasing her for her act recently. Mijin was stuttering when she asked her if she wants to take a picture with you and Bada in it.
She eventually gave in, and gladly played along. The rest of Team BEBE were fangirling so hard with the choice of poses the three of you did. Bada then hugged Mijin after, thanking her support and love for Team BEBE. Mijin joked that she was originally a 1Million fan but shifted to Team BEBE after being tasked to portray the leader.
It's your turn now to scoff and try towering her, jokingly telling her that you were disappointed and all. Everyone laughed at your feigned disappointment with Mijin had said.
-
The photos were uploaded after the live finale episode by Lusher. It trended quickly, but it's the least of your worries. Your focus is on the teary-eyed victor, who is still looking over the trophy in her hands. Team BEBE became the winning crew, and your team landed on the third spot. You could've worked harder, but Lia and the rest of your crew already took this as a big win.
Amongst the crowd of your fellow competitors, you made your way towards your girlfriend. When she spots you, she immediately engulfs you with a tight hug.
The two of you didn't say a word. All you two knew is that both of you are proud of each other and what you two achieved in the competition.

— ADMIRE. ❞
part 1 — part 2
Bada Lee x Original Character!:
— in which Bada unexpectedly gets to see and battle her long-time idol and crush on a survival show she was in, Street Woman Fighter.
— Everyone expected that Jam Republic would be only full of western dancers, so imagine when they found out that the "Queen of Dance" in the Korean Dance industry was joining the survival show Street Woman Fighter.
note: I do not own any of the people here nor the show except for Lea Chang. This was also made for entertainment purposes only.
This is also my first time writing in Tumblr so please excuse me if there are any mistakes and I hope you like this small chapter!
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
"I'm so glad you could make it!" A woman's voice called out speaking in English as she embraced the tall female figure in front of her. She was Kirsten Dodgen, a very respectable western dancers that is part of the crew that everyone knew, the Royal Family.
"Well, I wouldn't refuse an offer from an old friend." The said tall female replied to Kirsten as she hugged her back.
"I thought you had the schedule packed, especially knowing you're the Queen of Dance, Lea." Kirsten said with a wide smile on her face, excited to finally be able to dance with her closest friend again, this time as a crew.
Lea Chang, a woman with chin length hair with strands of ash blonde highlights, sharp yet beautiful features and a lean body type that looks a bit musculine, she's the definition of a woman who can melt all genders. Her dance style going far with variety types of dance, hence her title 'Queen of Dance'. Not only that, her aura was dominating, fierce and full of confidence. Her sense of style going through they oversized boy-ish clothes with rare feminine styles.
Going from one battle to another from the past and choreography being one of her strongest points these past few years, but that does not mean she can't battle anymore, no. Even if it had been years since she had battled, she still polishes her dance just incase this type of situation happens.
"Ready to meet the others?" Kirsten excitedly asked Lea who nodded her head yes. Grabbing her by the arm she led her friend to one of the dance practice rooms where the other crew of Jam Republic are.
"Ain't no freaking way!" A voiced called out as both Kirsten and Lea stepped into the room. Immediately, all three people inside stood up straight in shock.
"Lea Chang!?!"
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
All teams except Jam Republic has been settled down on the battle ground. The tension was high as every crew glanced at each other in unease, it was to be expected as this was a survival show, a competition where everyone wants to be the best and show that they are the best.
Suddenly the large screen showed the logo of Jam Republic making everyone stiffen at their seat in anticipation.
"Woah, it's really Jam Republic." One of the members of Deep n' Dap muttered outloud.
"I can't believe I get to see Kirsten in person!" A member of Mannequeen also said as they waited for the crew to step down the stairs.
"I remember signing up for one of Kirsten's classes and even went up early just to see her but they said her flight got cancelled, I literally cried when I found out!" One member of Deep n' Dap whine out to one of her crew before getting shutted up by her leader.
"Sh! Stop it, this is a competition!" Mina Myoung, the said leader warned her member.
"Right! Get out!" The member said while throwing her hands out acting as if she threw something.
"Woah, this is so cool!" A voice exclaimed in amazement as they stopped by the door frame of the entrance. It was Kirsten and her crew, the Jam Republic. All five of them began talking about how amazing the set was as they walked through the large hall down to the battle ground.
"Wah, look at how she carries herself."
"So cool!"
Jam Republic stood in the middle of the stage looking at the large screen in front of them waiting for the words of the other crew.
"This is harsher than I thought.." Kirsten muttered as she heard the translation of the other crew's view of them.
"She's a fake royal family."
"Where is Parris Goebell?"
"Woah, that's really harsh." Nob, the leader of LadyBounce muttered as she sneakily glanced at Jam Republic nervously.
"She just has a pretty face, there's nothing more."
"Look at how high her shoulders are! You can't even see her pretty face!"
Two no-respect stickers for Kirsten and Lattice, six no-respect stickers for Audrey. Seeing this, Audrey cheerfully raised two thumbs up smiling widely at everyone making them chuckle at her.
"She must be thrilled."
"Thumbs up? What does she mean?"
After Jam Republic seated the lights suddenly changed before the large door revealed the mc, Kang Daniel.
"Hello. Welcome to Mnet's original dance series, Street Woman Fighter 2, and I'm your host, Kang Daniel. Not only will we see the competitions between some of the best dance crews in Korea, but we have gone international this season - with global named crews, making the competition more intense." Everyone cheered and clapped for him as he continued to explain the first mission.
"You'll fight to crush all the other crews and reach the top. Only one crew can do that. Here's the first dance battle to be the winner of this competition." This made everyone cheer louder in anticipation, Kang Daniel did a pretty good job at hyping everyone up.
"The signature of the dance series is your first mission, the no-respect battle with the weakest dancer."
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
"The first no-respect battle is... 1Million Redy." 1million cheered as the hyped up Redy who was adjusting her beany and sleeves before walking up on the stage with a mic on her hand.
"The person I pick as the weakest dancer is..." Redy pauses adding a dramatic effect to the tension building up in the whole room before looking towards BEBE. "Bebe, Bada Lee."
Everyone howled in excitement for the battle as Bada the leader of Bebe only nodded her head while flipping her bottle of water before walking up the stage.
"Let's go Bada!"
"Captain you got this!"
"Kick her ass, Redy-yah!"
"I just don't respect you. That's it." Said Ready as she made a cutting motion before handing the mic to her leader.
"Bada Lee from Bebe, do you have any words?"
"Not Redy, Soobin-nah! To me you're no older than an 8th grade." Bada dissed the 1million dancer who shrugged seemingly unaffected.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
"Is the mic fine now?" A woman questioned the staff who did a last minute check up on the mic before nodding in confirmation. Sighing and shaking her arms she began to stride towards the long hallway to the stairs of the battle ground.
She was late due to the mic malfunction, turns out they gave her the wrong pair and went to find another one for the last one and a half hour. It made her a bit upset on how sloppy the new staffs are on these kind of shows now but it was done so now she was on her way to her crew.
She took a bit longer walking as she saw that the mission has already started. Redy was the first one to dance, although she must admit. The young woman was good at using the fluidity of her body but...
"There's no impact." She muttered as she slowly became uninterested with the battle until it was time for the other one to dance.
Bada, the woman knew her from all those viral tiktoks and videos all around her feed. She was admittedly very good, making iconic dances, the way she moves her body and the way you could see she enjoys what she's doing. You could say that the woman was a bit of a fan.
Seeing Bada dance personally now, was a new experience. It's better than through the screen. The quality, isolations and etc. was top notch. It made her feel something new ever since she kept watching her through her screen.
"You interest me, Bada.."
Seeing as the battle ended, Bebe gaining a win. The woman decided that it was time to head down, her clanking on the pavement. Everyone heard her coming down making them look at the stairs in wonder.
"Is there another member on the other crew?"
"Is it another judge?"
"Yah, Jam Republic is smiling do you think it's another member of theirs?"
Everyone gasped at the figure that's walking down the stairs.
"Wait hold on!"
"Are you serious?!"
"She's participating in this show?!"
"I lost! I don't wanna be here anymore!"
"There is no way that Lea Chang is battling in this show!"
That's right, it's Lea Chang. The one and only Queen of Dance. Everyone was shocked even the judges because they weren't informed by this. Was this last minute?
"Woah! This is insane!" Monika, one of the judges exclaimed in shock as she watched Lea walked down the stairs with a dominant aura that covered the whole room. To say she was a fan was an understatement. The same could be said for Mike and Shownu as they both looked up to the dancer even when she was younger than them.
"I'm getting goosebumps just from watching her alone!"
"She's so tall, taller than Bada!"
"Woah, now that's an aura of a queen."
"Which crew is she in?!"
Everyone watched as she stepped towards...Jam Republic?! Staring at her as she took a seat next to Kirsten.
"I thought Kirsten was going to be a challenge but Lea?! Lord what have I done to see such a powerful duo?" Yoonji from Mannequeen jokingly—or is she—prayed to the gods.
Lea was just sitting casually as she glanced at everyone who tried to avoid eye contact with her. She knew she was popular and scary but not this much, it made her sweatdrop awkwardly chuckling inwardly.
Her eyes landed on a certain leader of Bebe, who tried not to seem nervous as she stared right back onto the queen who has been her idol since she started dancing. Lea noticed how nervous Bada must've looked because she smiled at her—well it looked like a smirk— making her flustered and look the other way.
This made Lea chuckle at how cute the Bebe leader was before settling down her gaze somewhere.
This show might be more interesting than expected.

A Drive to Remember
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Synopsis: A casual drive home turns into a whirlwind of passion and desire as you and Bada explore the undeniable chemistry between you, culminating in a kiss that ignites a newfound love.
Word Count: 2.7K
Tumblr media
The dance studio buzzed with energy as you made your way through the crowded room, the sound of music filling the air like a symphony of dreams. Dancers twirled and spun, their movements fluid and graceful, each step a testament to their passion and dedication.
You had been working tirelessly on a new choreography, pouring your heart and soul into every movement, every beat of the music. It was a labor of love, a creation that you hoped would captivate audiences and leave them breathless with its beauty and power.
As you watched the dancers rehearse, a sense of pride swelled within you. They moved with such precision and grace, each step a testament to their talent and dedication. And amidst the sea of swirling bodies, there was one dancer who caught your eye – Bada.
She moved with a grace and fluidity that took your breath away, her movements a mesmerizing blend of strength and elegance. It was as if she was born to dance, her body moving in perfect harmony with the music, each step executed with precision and finesse.
"Wow," you breathed, unable to tear your eyes away from her mesmerizing performance. There was something about Bada that drew you in, a magnetic pull that tugged at your heartstrings and left you longing for more.
A voice beside you chuckled softly, and you turned to see your friend Ling grinning at you. "I see you've got your eye on Bada," she teased, nudging you playfully.
You blushed furiously, trying to play it cool. "I-I just admire her talent, that's all," you stammered, feeling the heat rise in your cheeks.
Ling raised an eyebrow skeptically. "Uh-huh, sure you do," she said, a knowing glint in her eye. "Well, you better make your move soon before someone else snatches her up."
As Ling walked away, you couldn't shake the feeling of butterflies in your stomach. Maybe she was right – maybe it was time to take a chance and see where this newfound attraction would lead.
The rest of the rehearsal passed in a blur, your mind consumed with thoughts of Bada and the undeniable chemistry you shared. And as the dancers dispersed for the evening, you found yourself lingering in the studio, unable to tear yourself away from the memory of her graceful movements.
As you stood there, lost in thought, you heard footsteps approaching from behind. You turned to see Bada standing there, a smile playing at the corners of her lips.
"Hey," she said softly, her voice like music to your ears.
"Hey," you replied, feeling a rush of excitement coursing through your veins.
Bada stepped closer, her eyes searching yours with a mixture of curiosity and warmth. "I couldn't help but notice you watching me during rehearsal," she said, a hint of playfulness in her tone.
You felt your cheeks flush with embarrassment, but you couldn't deny the truth of her words. "I-I couldn't help it," you admitted, feeling a surge of bravery coursing through you. "You're an incredible dancer, Bada. You have this...this energy about you that's just...mesmerizing."
Bada's smile widened at your words, and you felt a flutter of anticipation in your chest. Maybe, just maybe, this was the beginning of something special – a love story written in the stars, destined to unfold in ways you never thought possible.
— — — — — — —
As the days turned into weeks, you found yourself drawn to Bada like a moth to a flame. Every interaction with her left you feeling alive, buzzing with excitement and anticipation for what the future might hold. And as you spent more time together, you couldn't shake the feeling that there was something between you – something electric and undeniable.
It started innocently enough – casual conversations in the studio, shared laughter over lunch, stolen glances across the dance floor. But with each passing day, the connection between you and Bada grew stronger, until it felt like there was an invisible thread tying your hearts together.
You tried to ignore it at first, telling yourself that it was just a fleeting attraction – a passing fancy that would soon fade away. But as the days turned into weeks and the weeks turned into months, you couldn't deny the truth any longer – you were falling for Bada, hard and fast.
It was a realization that both thrilled and terrified you. Thrilled because you had never felt this way about anyone before, and terrified because you had no idea how Bada felt in return. What if she didn't feel the same way? What if your confession ruined your friendship and destroyed everything you had worked so hard to build?
But despite your fears, you couldn't shake the feeling that there was something between you and Bada – something worth exploring, worth fighting for. And so, you made a decision – a decision to lay your heart on the line and see where this newfound attraction would lead.
It was a decision that would change everything.
---
The dance studio was alive with energy as you and Bada worked together on a new choreography, the music pulsing through the speakers as you moved in perfect harmony. It was moments like these that made you feel alive – the rush of adrenaline, the thrill of creation, the undeniable chemistry between you and Bada.
As you danced together, you couldn't help but notice the way Bada's eyes sparkled with excitement, the way her smile lit up her face with a radiant glow. It was as if she was truly in her element, lost in the music and the movement, her passion shining through in every step.
"You're amazing," you murmured, unable to tear your eyes away from her mesmerizing performance.
Bada grinned at you, her cheeks flushed with exertion. "Thanks, but I couldn't do it without you," she replied, her voice soft and sincere.
You felt a surge of warmth flood your chest at her words, a sense of pride swelling within you. It was moments like these that made you realize just how much you admired and respected Bada – not just as a dancer, but as a person.
And as the two of you danced together, lost in the music and the movement, you couldn't help but feel a sense of intimacy and connection that went beyond words. It was as if you were communicating on a deeper level – a level that transcended the physical and touched the very essence of your souls.
But amidst the joy and excitement of the moment, there was also an undercurrent of tension – a tension that you couldn't ignore no matter how hard you tried. It was as if the air crackled with electricity whenever you and Bada were together, a palpable energy that left you breathless with anticipation.
And as you stole glances at each other across the dance floor, you couldn't help but wonder if Bada felt it too – if she sensed the same magnetic pull that drew you to her like a moth to a flame. It was a question that weighed heavily on your mind, filling you with both hope and trepidation as you danced through the night together.
But for now, you pushed those thoughts aside, focusing instead on the exhilaration of the moment. Because in that moment, as you and Bada moved together in perfect harmony, nothing else mattered – not the doubts, not the fears, not the uncertainties that lay ahead.
All that mattered was the here and now – the music, the movement, and the undeniable connection that bound you and Bada together in a dance of love and passion. And as you danced together under the watchful gaze of the stars, you knew that no matter what the future held, you would face it together – with love, laughter, and a bond that could never be broken.
— — — — — — —
As the days passed, the tension between you and Bada continued to grow, the unspoken attraction simmering just beneath the surface. It was a feeling that both thrilled and terrified you, leaving you unsure of how to proceed.
But amidst the uncertainty, there was one thing you were certain of – your feelings for Bada were stronger than ever, and you couldn't shake the feeling that she felt the same way. And so, you made a decision – a decision to lay your heart on the line and see where this newfound attraction would lead.
---
It was a warm summer evening when Bada approached Ling, her heart pounding in her chest as she gathered her courage. She had been wrestling with her feelings for you for weeks, unsure of how to proceed. But now, as she stood before Ling, she knew that she couldn't keep her emotions bottled up any longer.
"Ling, can I talk to you for a moment?" Bada asked, her voice trembling slightly.
Ling looked up from her phone, a curious expression on her face. "Of course, Bada. What's on your mind?"
Bada took a deep breath, steeling herself for what was to come. "It's about Y/N," she began, her voice hesitant. "I...I think I might have feelings for her."
Ling's eyes widened in surprise, but she quickly recovered, a knowing smile playing at the corners of her lips. "I thought as much," she replied, her tone teasing. "You and Y/N have been dancing around each other for weeks now. It's about time one of you made a move."
Bada blushed furiously, feeling a surge of embarrassment wash over her. "I-I just don't know how she feels about me," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper.
Ling reached out to squeeze Bada's hand gently, a reassuring smile on her face. "Don't worry, Bada. I'm sure Y/N feels the same way about you," she said, her voice filled with confidence. "But if you want to be sure, why not ask her out on a date?"
Bada's heart skipped a beat at the suggestion, her mind racing with possibilities. Could it really be that simple? Could she just ask you out and hope for the best?
As she pondered Ling's words, a sense of determination washed over her. She had spent far too long hiding her feelings, afraid of what might happen if she let her guard down. But now, with Ling's encouragement, she knew that it was time to take a chance – to lay her heart on the line and see where this newfound attraction would lead.
And so, with a newfound sense of purpose, Bada set out to plan the most romantic date she could imagine – a date that would capture the essence of her feelings for you and leave no doubt in your mind about her intentions.
---
It was a crisp autumn evening when you received a text message from Bada, inviting you to meet her at your favorite café for a special surprise. Intrigued, you eagerly accepted, your heart fluttering with anticipation as you made your way to the designated meeting spot.
As you arrived at the café, you were greeted by the sight of Bada sitting at a secluded table near the window, a warm smile on her face. She looked radiant, her eyes sparkling with excitement as she beckoned you over.
"Hey there, stranger," she greeted, her voice soft and inviting. "I'm so glad you could make it."
You returned her smile, feeling a surge of affection wash over you. "I wouldn't miss it for the world," you replied, taking a seat opposite her.
Bada's smile widened at your words, and for a moment, the two of you simply sat in comfortable silence, savoring the moment. But as the minutes ticked by, a sense of anticipation filled the air, leaving you both on edge with excitement.
And then, just as you were about to ask what the surprise was, Bada reached into her bag and pulled out a small velvet box, her hands trembling slightly.
"I-I have something for you," she said softly, her voice barely above a whisper.
Your heart skipped a beat at the sight of the box, your mind racing with possibilities. Could it be what you thought it was? Could Bada be about to ask you the question you had been longing to hear?
With trembling hands, you reached out and took the box from her, your fingers brushing against hers in a moment of electrifying intimacy. And as you opened the box and saw what was inside, your breath caught in your throat – a delicate ring, glittering in the soft glow of the café lights.
"I-I know we've been dancing around each other for weeks now, unsure of how to proceed," Bada began, her voice trembling with emotion. "But I can't ignore the way I feel about you any longer, Y/N. I love you, more than words can say, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?"
Tears welled up in your eyes at her heartfelt confession, your heart overflowing with love and gratitude. "Yes, Bada," you whispered, your voice choked with emotion. "Yes, a thousand times yes."
And as the two of you sealed your newfound love with a tender kiss, you knew that no matter what the future held, you would face it together – with love, laughter, and a bond that could never be broken.
— — — — — — —
The sun dipped low on the horizon as you stepped out of the dance studio, your muscles aching from a long day of rehearsals. But despite the exhaustion weighing heavily on your limbs, your spirits soared at the thought of spending the evening with Bada.
As you made your way to the parking lot, you spotted her waiting for you by her luxurious car, the sleek lines of the vehicle gleaming in the fading light. She leaned against the car, a playful smirk playing at the corners of her lips as she watched you approach.
"Hey there, gorgeous," she greeted, her voice husky with desire. "Ready for a ride?"
You felt a flush of warmth spread through you at her words, a rush of excitement coursing through your veins. "Always," you replied, unable to tear your eyes away from her captivating gaze.
As you settled into the passenger seat, Bada slid into the driver's seat beside you, her eyes focused on the road ahead. The silence between you was comfortable, filled with the promise of what was to come.
But as you stole glances at each other, you couldn't help but notice the tension crackling in the air, a palpable energy that left you breathless with anticipation. And when Bada's hand brushed against your thigh, you felt a jolt of electricity shoot through you, igniting a fire deep within your soul.
You chuckled softly at her sudden shyness, unable to resist the urge to tease her. "What's the matter, baby? Cat got your tongue?" you teased, your voice laced with affection.
Bada blushed furiously at your playful banter, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment. "I-I just...I didn't mean to," she stammered, her words trailing off into a nervous mumble.
But before she could say another word, you reached out and took her hand, placing it back on your thigh. You crossed your legs, pressing her hand firmly between them, relishing the warmth of her touch against your skin.
"B-baby, what are you doing?" Bada stammered, her eyes wide with surprise.
You grinned wickedly, your heart pounding with excitement. "Just enjoying the ride," you replied, your voice dripping with seduction.
Bada's cheeks flushed even deeper at your boldness, her heart racing with desire. And as you leaned in to press a soft kiss to her cheek, she couldn't help but feel a surge of longing wash over her.
But then, without warning, Bada pulled the car over to the side of the road, her eyes dark with desire as she turned to face you. And before you could react, she captured your lips in a searing kiss that left you breathless and dizzy with desire.
It was a moment of pure, unbridled passion – a moment that seemed to stretch on for eternity as you lost yourselves in each other's embrace. And as the world faded away around you, all that mattered was the electrifying connection between you and Bada – a connection that could never be denied.
And as you finally pulled away, gasping for breath, you knew that this was just the beginning of your journey together – a journey filled with love, laughter, and a bond that would last a lifetime.

“I DON'T UNDERSTAND” Bada Lee x Reader.
Summary: Howl is a cheater and Bada takes revenge on him with the girl he cheated on her.
W: Mention of Howl, infidelity, Bada is confused about her sexuality, Suggestive, Reader is described as feminine and short while Bada as masculine and tall just for the plot, slightly homophobia, not readproof
You were at what you thought was the most boring party, your best friend Minah invited you to the celebration of her Team, the famous Team Bebe. and even if you were happy for her you couldn't help but feel out of place.
The place was full of professional dancers and even some idols, which you in fact are not and your best friend have the best idea than to leave you alone, so you shifted uncomfortably in your place, fixing your outfit or taking short sips of the drink in your hand, trying to calm your nervousness.
Not only the fact that it was a place where you clearly didn't belong, but the famous Bada Lee, leader of Team Bebe and choreographer, would be there, with whom you interacted enough times to know that you had a huge crush on her.
Although you knew very well that she had a boyfriend and she was straight, everyone knew it, but that didn't stop you from feeling incredibly attracted to her or her dance style, and little did you know that was the reason why you weren't leaving that party yet.
You were so lost in your thoughts and trying to calm yourself that you didn't feel a presence next to you until you heard his masculine voice finding you with nothing but Bada's boyfriend, Howl.
"Do I know you from somewhere?" His voice was calm and friendly, but even so he managed to make you distrustful so you just looked at him in silence "well, I would surely remember a pretty girl like you"
You wanted to laugh in his face, what kind of pickup line was that?, you didn't know how he could have conquered a woman like Bada, especially if he used those flirting tactics.
"I'm a friend of Minah." Was the only thing you answered, taking a long sip from your glass. "And no, we don't know each other."
"And I have no intention of doing so" you thought to yourself, feeling that his mere presence bothered you at incredible levels.
What you thought was going to end there ended up in a conversation (if you can call that a conversation) where he probably told you his whole life story and tried to shamelessly flirt with you that you avoided at all costs with the rudest comments you could think of.
Something you had to thank him for was that he had made you no longer nervous but incredibly bored, a question was on your mind from the moment he decided to open his mouth.
"You don't have a girlfriend?" The question came out sharp and quick from your mouth, almost without letting you process it, you saw how his face changed into a nervous one.
"No I don't" Howl spoke hesitantly while his gaze scanned the place almost looking for someone "I mean yes I have, but we are about to break up, she and I don't match, she seems more like my brother than my girlfriend have you see her?"
His words came out like poison, as if the mere thought of his girlfriend repulsed him, making your blood boil, how could someone talk like that about their partner?and especially if your partner is the Bada Lee herself.
Without being able to stand it one more second, you excused to him while walking to the bathroom or looking for Minah, whichever you found first.
Oh the small and naive you, it was not difficult for you to find the bathroom because a hand in your arm dragged you to it, Bada had listened to the last part of the conversation making her believe something that wasn't and she was about to confront you about it.
Because let's see, she knew that you were the best friend of one of her members, she had small talks with you every time they met at the dance studio, and you obviously knew she had a boyfriend then why were you flirting with him now? (oh lord)
That's why to your surprise, when you were able to react you were leaning against the sink and Bada towering you with her brow visibly furrowed.
"You now? Since the day I met you, something about you feel off to me" Bada spoke, trying to remain calm. "I wanted to believe it was because you were simply shyer and had no interest in dancing, but now I understand."
Now it was your time to frown, feeling confused by her words you tried to speak but your words stuck in your throat when she spoke again.
"I understand that technically we are not friends and that he can be attractive to you." Now you were the one who was beginning to understand. "and that he wants someone like you, I understand you are way too pretty, shorter than him and much more feminine than I will ever be."
"I wasn't..." Bada put her hand on your mouth stopping you from continuing speaking as her face moved closer to yours.
"Shut up, I'm not done yet." Her voice was sharp and her closeness was making you probably more nervous than before. "Believe me i get that but what I don't understand It's why I'm not angry or jealous of him."
"What I don't understand." Bada changed her expression for a softer one, removing her hand from your mouth, resting both on the sink behind you. "It's why i want you too, why I was jealous that he was flirting with you when I should be the one doing that"
And again you were confused again, you thought she would be yelling at you and blaming you for flirting with her ugly boyfriend but on the contrary she was saying that she wanted you.
Bada was looking at you expectantly for an answer or something but your mind was blank so your only response was to grab her face and kiss her something that surprised her, her mind was running a marathon, it was her first time kissing a girl in her short 28 years and she didn't know how to act.
And you, probably understanding what was happening, grabbed her hands guiding them on your waist and whispering on her lips to relax and let herself flow and that was exactly what she did her right hand went to your neck bringing your faces together even more making the kiss even deeper.
Words were no longer necessary, they were both too busy with their mouths on each other in a mutual understanding of what was happening there, they both felt like they were going to get lost in each other especially when her hand wandered to your bare leg where your skirt began and your fingers closed in her hair.
Although their little bubble of desire and love burst when a loud knock on the bathroom door they were in began to echo in this you hadn't realized when the door had been locked but what you did notice was that your red lipstick was now smeared on Bada's face making you laugh.
"What's funny?" Bada asked confused so you just moved your body giving her space to look at herself in the mirror making her end up laughing too. "Well I'm full of you now"
"Oh no, you still have a lot to try" You spoke before approaching to kiss her but again the knocking on the door sounded and this time even louder so you two have no choice but to leave the bathroom.
Bada took the initiative to open the door even with her face full of your lipstick, coming face to face with Howl, her now ex-boyfriend so he couldn't help but smile sarcastically as he grabbed your hand and dragged you away from him, leaving an angry Howl, and you could have sworn you heard him curse them for being sick lesbians but that was just his ego being hurt.
"Where are we going?" You asked, curious, watching how you two crossed the street door heading towards a black car, her car.
"To my house" Bada spoke calmly as she took out her car key, opening the passenger door for you. "You said I still had a lot to try."

“IGNITED FIRE”
★ Sypnosis  - Y/n S/n, an Architecture student and Bada Lee, a Performing Arts student shares an apartment at their university. They are doing great until Bada started bringing different girls at night forbidding Y/n to focus on her studies. Things went south when Bada stated her adoration towards Y/n. It all went downhill when one night ruined Y/n’s heart.
★ Warnings - suggestive??? bada making y/n a mess aaah
★ Bleu’s Note - waaaah i don't know what I'm doing here.. leave your thoughts below pleaseee. is this too short for a chapter or is it okay?
Read more. <3
Y/n started her day with productivity. She got up before the sun rises, fixed her personal bag and prepared an outfit so that she can finally start moving boxes to her shared apartment at her uni.
It was a new journey for her. She has never been away from her family for 22 years. She had to move to an apartment inside her uni because her father was moved to another state and changing uni would be more hassle.
She arrived at the apartment. It was humongous for a uni apartment. She wondered how much did her parents paid for her to have an apartment like this. She knocked at the door, expecting her roommate. However, she's not expecting to see a HOT roommate.. well..
She took a deep breath before stepping outside of their previous home. She's been here for all her life and now that she has to live alone, and do everything alone, she's scared. She didn't know what to do. All she can do is wish for her roommate to help her adjust in a life where she's all alone, without her parents.
The door swung open, revealing a tall woman in her sports bra and sweatpants. You looked at her, mouth wide open as you stood there, wonderstrucked.
“A-are you Bada? My r-roommate?” Why did i stutter, stupid Y/n! She then started getting conscious, she looked down at her feet.
“I am. You must be Y/n? You're prettier in person.” She muttered the last few words under her breath. “What?” Y/n wondered. Did she said something or am i just tripping?
Bada shook her head, and offered her hand out for a handshake. “I am Bada Lee, your apartment buddy.” Y/n was having second thoughts about bringing her hand out to shake Bada’s but at the end, for formality’s sake, she did shook the other girl’s hand. “M-my name is Y/n Choi. It's n-nice to meet you . . ” Why do i keep stuttering for heaven's sake. Y/n mentally cursed herself.
“You’re probably tired, let's go inside?” Bada offered. Y/n only nodded, not wanting to make another embarrassing scene infront of Bada. “Yes, of course but can you let go of my hand now . . ?” She looked down at their hands, and back to Bada’s face. The other girl chuckled as she released Y/n’s hand. “Sorry, your hand felt too comfortable to let go of.” Bada smiled at the girl before turning around to walk away, leaving Y/n startled.
What did she just say? Y/n thought, still can't believe what she heard. This girl is a flirtatious one. I can't believe she's hitting on me the first time we met. She continued to wonder and talk to herself not until it was snapped when Bada said something.
“Earth to Y/n.” She clapped her hands a few time to call the girl's attention. When Y/n finally came back to reality, she was met with a Bada leaning in the kitchen post, with her arms cross in all her glory for Y/n’s eyes to see. “Come here, Y/n. You should know a few things in our kitchen.”
She's 10x more hotter now. What the hell is happening to me? Y/n cried to herself, but walking slowly towards Bada. She knows how big of a failure she is in the kitchen given that the only thing she can cook are eggs.
“This is our fridge. It is spacious and has a partition in the middle. The left side is yours. You can store anything you want. You buy your own groceries and you clean your own mess.” She said, eyes fixed on Y/n leaving her once again, unable to speak.
Y/n only nodded, letting Bada know that she understands. “Use that mouth of yours. Use it for better purposes.” She deadpanned. “I u-understand Bada.” Y/n closed her eyes. Heavenly Father, I am not your strongest soldier. Y/n took a deep breath.
Bada replied with words that made Y/n’s breath hitched. “Good girl.” Bada smirks at Y/n’s reaction, loving every action and response Y/n delivers. The other girl however, has been so drained with Bada’s unrestrained flirting. “C-can i know where my room is? I-i wanted to rest already . .” She looked down, waiting for Bada to respond.
She felt the taller girl's presence before her and she closed her eyes, hoping Bada wouldn't notice the way her hands and lips are trembling. “Walk past the living room and you'll see a hallway.” Bada said. Y/n sighed in relief, only to be interrupted when Bada grabbed her chin, raising her head. “Don't be shy around me, Y/n. We're only on day one.” She smiles before patting Celene’s head and walking towards the living room where she flopped herself on the couch.
WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR? Y/n didn't waste a second to run to her room and shut if close afterwards. It hasn't been an hour and she's already exhausted.
How am i going to face Bada everyday for the whole year??? Y/n let herself fall to bed the bed. Sighing and thinking if her choice of renting inside her uni is even a good idea.

The beginning of Everything
The round table was packed with producers and publicists, and among them was the infamous female rock band The Rivers along with their manager. That day was the last day to meet before production on the band's documentary finally began filming. They had been planning the recordings since 2020, but when the pandemic hit the world, they were all forced to postpone the plans.
“We have signed the last contracts and can finally start the last filming of the documentary” said one of the producers in charge. “We have collected very good material, and we have also found the perfect actresses to start filming some shots. The only thing we still need are the interviews.”
“Did she agree?”
Suddenly the room was silent, and after asking, Bada looked hopefully at Linda, the main producer, who stared at her and then smiled with a nod. They had gotten Jessica Bae to be in the documentary.
“People have wanted to know your love stories all this time, and we finally have the final piece to tell them” Lindsey exclaimed with excitement in her voice. “She said she would be here Monday morning, and she would be as sincere as we wanted her to be.”
“Do you really think people want to listen to us?” Juliana said, looking at Linda. “I mean, the documentary is about the band, about you guys.” she continued as she pointed to the sisters. “Do you think people want to listen to us and our lives?”
“People want everything, Juls” replied Brody, the manager. “People want the pretty and the lurid; they want versions of absolutely everything. They've been asking for years, and you and Eunbyul have earned some fame.”
“Well” Eunbyul interrupted. “Let's do it.”

Stolen Hoodie SMAU
Halloween Smut Special!!
A/n: doing god's work and giving yall Nada smut in collaboration with my gf @badasgirlfriend .
Bada finally had enough, as she glares at the girls talking at the other side of the room. Bada's grip on the her cup tightens as she watches Nari and Xiaoting be close to each other.
"Girl what did the cup ever do to you" Lusher calls out as Bada's cup is finally bent from how strong her grip is and the drink splatters on her hands.
"Shit" Bada muttered as she makes her way to Nari, leaving Lusher confused before piecing the two together. Lusher smiles as she announced what happened to their group chat.
Bada grabs another cup of alcohol, downing it down in one go as she makes her way through the lively crowd to the girl wearing a Lola bunny costume.
"Come with me" Bada said as she glares at the girl who is flirting with Nari.
"Wait— where are we going?" Nari stumbles on her feet as she try to keep up with the taller girl.
Soon they reached one of the empty room in Aeri's house as Bada quickly locked the door before pushing Nari against it.
"What the fuck is wrong with yo—" Bada cuts off Nari by a kiss to which the girl immediately responds.
The sexual tension between the two has finally got into them as they both finally give in.
Bada's hands started to roam all around the shorter girl's body, caressing her waist then coming up to her back
"Fuck, Nari" Bada said in between the kiss before licking the girls lower lips, asking for permission to which Nari granted as she opens her mouth slightly agape as their tongues intertwines.
One of Bada's hands is now in the back Nari's head whilst the other is busying itself taking off Nari's top.
"W-wait— Bada stop" Nari pulled away from the kiss making the taller girl stare down at her.
"What?" The taller girl asked annoyed, her actions are already fueled with lust and jealousy, she just wants to take Nari right then and there.
"What's the problem, why are you acting weird?" Bada scoffs "Kissing you is weird?".
"That's not what I meant" Nari crosses her arms around her chest, which made Bada look down and stare at the girl's exposed cleavage, making the girl bit her lip unconsciously.
"Bada!" Nari called out to the girl, Bada rubs her face as she lets out an exasperated sigh before turning away from Nari, walking to the middle of the dimly room where the bed is before sitting on it.
"You wanna know my problem?" Bada stood up once again, approaching the girl slowly. "My problem is that girl you're talking with, can't you see how she is litterally eye fucking you all these time?"
"So the whole reason for this is just because you're jealous of Xiaoting?" Nari can't hide her smile as she looks at Bada.
"What's with that look?" Bada stares at Nari who has a teasing face on. "You look so cute when you're jealous you know?" Nari teases.
Bada lets out another sigh before passing the girl to open the door. "This is so dumb" Bada said but Nari stops her from going away any further.
"Where are you going?" The shorter girl pulls Bada closer before pushing her against the door.
"You can't just leave me like this you know?" Nari started leaving butterfly kisses around Bada's neck, earning a gasp from the tall girl.
"You need to finish what you've started Ms.Lee" Bada could swear that her eyes might just roll to the back of her head when she heard Nari talk that seductively.
"Fucking hell" Bada could only say before bringing Nari to the middle of the room and pushing her down to bed as she climbs up on top of her.
The two pull each other once again into a passionate kiss, not wasting any time as Bada started trailing down kisses on Nari's neck, sucking and biting, leaving red spots all over it.
As Nari's hands grips on Bada's hair, pushing her head deeper while exposing more of her neck to her.
"Bada—" Nari managed to moan out which made Bada's kisses go harder. Bada's hand is placed on Nari's thigh, caressing it which just made Nari moan louder.
The loud music from the party outside drowns out their moans as the two continues to eat each others faces, tonguea intertwined, Bada's leg is placed between Nari's making the girl grind into it.
"Stand up and strip for me" Bada commanded as she moves away to make room for Nari, the girl immediately complied and began taking of her costume as painfully slow as possible while swaying her hips to the blaring music outside the room. Bada couldn't help but bit her lips as she stare her down.
Nari finally reveals her white laced bralette with a pairing laced thong underneath her Lola costume. Bada inhales sharply as she admires Nari's body.
"Fuck, come here baby" Bada gestures to her lap, as Nari sits on it, placing her legs to the tall girls sides. Bada immediately attacked Nari's neck once again. Sucking and biting more hasher, trailing the kisses down to her cleavage while her hands caresses Nari's inner thighs, her fingers casually grazing over the girl's clothed cunt, feeling the wet patch on the girl's panties.
Nari couldn't help but grind onto the dancer's lap as she felt herself getting lost from the stimulation she is experiencing from Bada's hands and mouth.
"B-Bada..." Nari whines "...want more please~"
"God you sound so cute when you beg, what do you want baby?" Bada teases as she 'accidentally' grazes over Nari's clit again, that causes the girl to mewl.
"Hmm—Ah!" Nari's soft moans just turns on Bada more as she yearns for more. Bada finally had enough and pull off Nari's bralette and dives in, taking one tit in her mouth whilst massaging the other.
Nari's eyes rolls to the back of her head once she felt Bada push aside her panties and start playing with her clit, the soft squelches of her cunt can be heard echoing in the room despite the loud music outside.
"Oh— hah, Bada so g-good" Nari moans as her hands flew to the dancer's hair as she gives it a light tug. Bada moans against Nari's tits when she felt the pleasurable pain from her scalps.
Bada then released the girl's breast before capturing Nari's lips once again, pushing her tongue inside her partner's mouth as she inserts a finger inside Nari's sopping cunt.
This made the girl arch her back, and break away from the kiss, releasing a loud moan.
"Oh shit— you're so wet yet you're so tight" Bada muttered under breath as she pulls Nari once again for a kiss while her other hands massaged the girl's tits once again
Nari couldn't help but moan into the kiss, her hand is still tugging on Bada's hair, whilst the other is on the tall girl's shoulder for support as she starts riding Bada's fingers.
Tears started welling up on Nari's eyes as she feels the overwhelming pleasure, Bada has inserted another finger inside her while her thumbs continues to massaged her clit.
Her legs started to shake as her eye rolls uncontrollably when she felt a knot building up on her stomach.
"B-bada wait I— ngh" Bada smirk as she felt Nari's walls tighten "Yeah, I know" Bada presses some butterfly kisses on Nari's neck over the bruises she puts herself, "go ahead baby, cum on fingers" her pace fastens as the knot on Nari's stomach finally breaks.
Her body is shaking as Bada helps her chase her high before making her lay down on the bed.
Planting subtle kisses on her lips, cheeks and neck, going over all the marks she planted. "god I love you so much" Bada muttered against Nari's skin as she continues planting kisses all over her body, from the girl's neck, down to her breasts, before planting kisses on her thighs.
Although still sensitive from her first orgasm, Nari found a bit of strength to raise her head only to see Bada positioning herself in between Nari's legs.
Bada pulls down Nari's underwear before trailing kisses again on her stomach down to her pussy, "Bada, what are you doing?" Nari tries to stop Bada as she is still recovering from the previous orgasm.
"Oh darling, did you think I'm done with you?" The room is a bit dark but Nari could sense Bada's smirk as her face comes closer to her cunt before giving it one long stripe and another after another until Bada is pressing her face on Nari's cunt.
Her tongue goes deep inside her, occasionally sucking on her clit, while she thrust fingers back and forth.
Nari's legs are over Bada's shoulders, her moans are uncontrollable, her nails are leaving scratch marks on Bada's back which just made the dancer moan onto Nari's cunt, sending out vibrations to her body which made her shiver. Her toes curling at how good Bada's mouth and fingers work on her body.
A few tears streaks down from her eyes as the pleasure starts to build up once again on her body. Her breathes started getting short as she Bada continues to eat her out.
Nari pushed back Bada's hair as she watches how the dancer eats her out. Bada's eyes were closed, almost like she is savoring the girl's flavor, treating her like a delicacy. Slowly, Bada looks up and made eye contact to Nari, smirking as she dives in once again back to Nari's cunt which makes her throw her head back.
"Mhmm— so fucking delicious" Bada muttered before planting kisses Nari's inner thigh before going back to eating her out "should've done this earlier" Bada chuckles against Nari's pussy. " Yeah, you should have—Oh!" Nari retorted but Bada immediately cut her of by thrusting her fingers faster and harder.
Nari arches her back as she moves her hips to the same rhythm Bada sets as she chases another orgasm.
"B-Bada i'm gonna— ngh hah" her breath staggers as she finally releases her juices, her legs shakes as her toes curl from the pleasure as Bada gladly laps up her juices, not wasting a single drop.
Soon, the exhaustion has finally get to Nari's system as she passed out on the bed, when Bada noticed this she couldn't help but chuckles as she stood up and finally turning on the light in the room.
As Bada finally looks back at Nari, she first admire the hickeys she planted all across Nari's neck and breast, but as her gaze trails down, she starts to notice the bruises on the sleeping girl's body. These aren't just normal bruises, it seems like it was there for some time now, some are already fading while some looks like it's still fresh and was just a few days old.
Bada's eyes grew with concern as she inspects the girl's bruises closer. "I promise I'll find a way to help get you away from that man" tall girl muttered under her breath.
Bada decided to worry about the concerning marks on Nari's body and decided that she should clean the girl up first.
But as Bada was about to pick up Nari's clothes on the floor. The door was abruptly opened by none other than a drunk Yeonjun.
"Oh shit" the two made eye contact, Bada quickly turns around and covers Nari's naked body, while Yeonjun quickly turns around and closed the door, looking traumatised as he goes back to where his other friends were.
"Fuck" Bada thought to herself, putting Nari's clothes quickly and picked her up, carrying her all the way to her car, as she drives back to her apartment.

A dramatic overture - Bada Lee x reader
Tumblr media
You were a bit of an unusual ballet dancer. To put it plainly, you were a bit of a fuckup sometimes. But wasn't everyone? Apparently not, according to your overbearing mother. And your choreographer, the infamous Bada Lee. How you landed in her troupe was a mystery.
Not only was she an insanely talented leader, she had been a phenomenal dancer beforehand. Other girls like Lusher and Tater flourished under her guidance. You, on the other hand still needed some work.
And that is exactly what you did. Day and night you practiced tirelessly. After all, ballet was an art, and weren't all the greats tortured and starving? You were eating still, the only pleasure you allowed yourself. The rest was wake up, go to dance, go home, and then repeat the cycle again and again. But your efforts paid off in the end.
And you had perfected your routine just in time for your audition. You were doing Swan Lake, a staple in the community for dancers and the audience as well. And of course, Bada wanted to put her twist on it. So at the end of the season there would be a special ''modern'' retelling of the plot, with all original choreography from her. You were excited. As stereotypical it was, you loved Swan Lake. It was the ballet that made you want to be a dancer in the first place. And Odile was your dream role ever since you were a child. So you tried to brush off your insecurity and worked for it.
You had been to the studio at such late hours that your parents started to suspect you had a boyfriend. You didn't have the heart to tell them that a boyfriend was the last thing they would ever have to worry about it. So you brushed it off and insted went in during your allocated dinner hours. And since you absolutely hated breakfast and really anthing early in the morning, you were down to one meal a day. It's not like you planned it and it wasn't affecting you that badly. At least thats what you thought at first. But by hour 4 of practice, you were exausted. You did a turn and felt your body go limp. You tried to break your fall in, but you still slammed to the ground like a sack of potatoes.
Your fall must have been serious because Bada rushed in. You didn't even know she was in the studio then. You prepared fora lecture and her berating you on your stupidity and carelesness. But instead she let you lean on her and get to her office. There, you sat on a comfortable plush chair as she brought you a sports drink and an icepack. You were too tired to think about where her personal fridge was located and just how big it was. As your pain got lighter, you could focus more on what she was saying.
''And please, be careful. I see you work hard. But don't neglect yourself too much. The most important thing to focus on is your health. And as for the role, don't worry, there's plenty of roles, plenty of other shows.''
While she was right, you were stubborn. But you did not have a death wish, so you scaled back your practices by only 15 minutes, but it's the thought that counts. And also you started packing sandwiches. And little by little, it came time for auditions. Surprisingly, Odile was still popular, so you were up against the stars of your group. Still, they relied on their already existing talent and hadn't really bothered to memorize new techniques. And you had worked hard, building a completely new persona for your dancing. And that did not go unnoticed by Bada. So her decision was easy. Almost as easy as the way you cried tears of joy upon seeing the cast list. You had it. The role was yours. The pain was over.
Little did you know, the pain was just beginning. Now it was just a lot. while Odile was a background character most of the time, there was still her solo. And you dreaded it. Not only the dancing but also dancing with a man. It's not like you had anything against men. In fact, you were on good terms with most of the male members of the troupe. You just couldn't feel the necessary passion and attraction needed to dance with them. And you couldn't fake that love, even on stage for just a few minutes. But you managed. Bada had some minor critiques, which you corrected. And so the first cour of your performances began. Your choreographer had you do a limited summer run with the original production. Then, in the quieter ballet months you'd train again for her version of Swan Lake.
You were excited to play Odile twice. But little did you know, in Bada's version the cast would be all female. And you found out that last.
While you were on your last regular performance, she pulled you aside and told you there would be some changes to the cast list. She watched your face pale for a few seconds before adding that your spot would not change. And you swore she added a wink at the end, just to torment you.
Maybe it was worry. Maybe it was a stomach bug from all the supermarket sandwiches. But you were too sick to make it to rehearsal. You called your choreographer and almost tearfully apologized over and over again. Yet, Bada reassured you. Your role was not in the first acts anyway, so she'd focus on them now. But little did you know, she was simultaneously holding auditions. And she made sure to take down the new cast list before you return.
It was worth the hassle and the looks of bewilderment from the other dancers. Because she essentially saw you go through every stage of gay panic in the span of 5 minutes.
You walked in the studio, seeing her. She queued up the pas de deux music and walked over to the oposite side of the room. She stood on the blocking of your partner's position and motioned for you to take your place. When you were still frozen on your spot, she began explaining.
''We're in Bada's version now. And seeing how abysmall your chemistry was with the male leads, I made some changes.'' she said.
''If I was so bad, why didn't you say something. Why didn't you recast me.'' you questioned.
''You're a good dancer. And besides, it was just Swan Lake. I cannot be revolutional, I don't want to claim I can rewrite the story better. But making my cast all female of my own show, that's another thing. A modern retelling of a classic. With a strong message on how love isn't dictated by the gender binary. These tickets will sell like fresh bread.'' she explained
''And you're coming out of retirement to do this.'' you added, getting it now.
''Jackpot.''
''So you're doing this to get money.''
''I'm doing this for art. And to keep your fees from raising. Costume, set decor, rent on the studio, I'm guessing you don't want to pay that. Unless you do, then get in position.''
Her movements were so fluid. Additionally, she could lift you with ease. The thing is, every time she touched you, it felt like electricity was running through you. So you couldn't really focus and fumbled. Bada was a bit annoyed, but then she started over. Still, you were rattled. Why did this make you feel this way? Bada was attractive. But why would her appearance affect you so much? And now? So you continued to dance, pushing away the thoughts for some time. And it worked for a bit. You two managed to complete the routine. And did it again a few times again, to solidify it.
And then you did it perfectly. You would never use that word lightly, but it was true. It was a million times better than with your male partners. So you were confident that you would nail it.
''Okay, you have the energy now. Let's start learning the routine.'' Bada said.
You were confused. You knew your choreography, and you were wondering if there was a light misstep on your part. And then, Bada started a completely new dance. You wondered when she had the time to choreograph this. It was a completely different way of moving, looking more like a street style. You had never danced like this. But clearly, Bada had. She was so good, even better than with ballet. Was this on purpose? Or was it just her trying to showcase a skill? But why throw you under the bus? You could talk to her about it. Ask her to pull back on some moves, but still add that Bada flare. But you didn't do that. You just tried to copy her moves. You were a professional, so you could pick it up. And it's not like you picked up ballet in one go.
So you tried again. And again. And again. At first, Bada was guiding you very closely, being next to you, correcting your posture with her hands. After a few hours of that, she gets tired of this and sits down, just giving you oral feedback. That frustrated you. And the fact that she kept forcing you to practice over and over again. And at the end of the day, you were just tired and ended up just going home, with no progress on your end. The thing is, you tried again and again. You ended up having a sleepless night in order to get something done. And even though you were dancing like there was no tomorrow, there was little progress.
But you just kept at it. Rehearsing. Going home and dancing there. By the time you went to sleep, it was time to get up again. On days when you weren't training you'd just sleep and eat, calling it a day. You were becoming slovenly. Makeup and brushing your hair were becoming luxuries and so were laundry and showers. And the worst part is, you weren't improving. Street dancing was just not your thing. But it was everyone else's thing. Bada and the whole group could do it. Except you. You were the outcast again. And for no reason. It's not like you were bad at performing in your signature style. What pissed you off the most was surprisingly Bada. She was the incompetent one, not you. She couldn't lead you properly. You hoped she would help and you were called to her office at the end of the day. But instead, you got chewed up. Midway through her rant, someone stormed in, talking to her about a defaced poster and how it was going viral, but not in a good way. She excused herself and promised she'd be back soon. But 5 minutes past. Then 10. Then 15. And the whole time Bada's phone was buzzing with notifications. It was driving you insane. So you reached out to put it on silent mode. But something caught your eye. All the notifs were from a groupchat called TEAM BEBE and the picture was that of the troupe. So you looked at the messages and everyone was talking about you. Lusher, Tatter, even Cheche, they were all bad mouthing you. Making fun of you for the things, that were beyond your control. You had had enough so you just stormed out of there.
So you did the only thing you could think of. You dressed for revenge. First, you went to a salon to reverse the damage to your hair. Then you actually took time and booked a morning makeup session at the MAC counter, making sure to add a striking red lip. To top it all off, you decided to get some new clothes for the rehearsals. A few sexy and black pieces later, you had wiped out your salary. But none of that mattered.
While your transformation was already almost unbelievable, you knew it wasn't enough to shine to dazzle your so-called teammates. But the first person with a target on their back was Bada herself. After all, she was the one that got you into this mess in the first place. So you knew just how to make her regret it. But your plan wasn't exactly foolproof. And you were about to find that out.
First, you joined Bada in your usual practice room. It was surreal to see yourself reflected in so many mirrors while looking like this. You brushed it off. You began the routine and messed up horrendously, this time on purpose. You kept butchering it again and again until Bada stood up begrudgingly to help you. As soon as she got close enough, you pushed her back, watching her topple to the ground, her spine contorting into a graceful, sweeping curve. She was beautiful, even when falling. You wasted no time in straddling her waist, fully prepared to fight her. By then, she was fighting back too, trying to knee you, making you enclose your legs against her thigh. Bada pushes you back, but her hands meet your chest. And you fucking moan. She just raises an eyebrow and looks at you. Then she moves her hands to your hips, making you rock back and forth.
''If a good fuck is all you need to dance correctly, I'll give it to you princess,'' she said. You were about to protest, but she flexed her thigh and you were a goner. You let her take control completely. Bada made you grind your hips on her, to hump her leg like a horny pet. She snapped off the buttons of your leotard, so your bare pussy was rubbing against her. Your wetness was all over her black pants.
''Bada, I'm going to cum.'' with that your mentor bounced her leg up and down. You leaned towards her and kissed her as your orgasm took over you. She helped you ride it out and watched as you rolled over on the floor, panting and tired. Bada watched you for a minute and then said.
''Oh, my darling, I'm just getting started with you, so you better get up.''

genre: enemies to lovers, hp universe, idk
~part 2~
Y/N sighed in frustration as Professor McGonagall explained the theory behind transfiguration. She truly loved her professor and the subject, but today just wasn't her day.
Y/N whispered to her best friend Eli, who was sitting next to her. "I can't focus,"
Eli nodded in agreement. "Me neither," she said. "I just want to go to my common room and get some rest."
"I can't wait for next week's match," Y/N exclaimed rather loudly, catching the professor's attention but going unnoticed.
Eli smirked. "We will beat your asses," she said.
"In your dreams," Y/N said, rolling her eyes. "How long has it been- two years maybe? Three? That's how long it's been since slytherins defeated us."
"That's because Heesung was captain. You know how bad he was. Now it's Bada, so- "
"Don't mention her"
"We will 100% win," Eli smirked, poking her shoulder, as if attempting to get a reaction from Y/N. "Did I hit a nerve?" Eli asked.
"I will hex you," Y/N threatened, jokingly grabbing her wand. However, seeing Eli's face change to fear, Y/N slowly turned around.
"I don't remember teaching hexes, Miss Y/N," Professor McGonagall said firmly.
"Of course not, professor," the younger girl smiled sweetly. "I was just joking."
"I heard you got in trouble today." Y/N immediately gulped at the mention of today's incident , knowing full well that she was in trouble.
"Minnie- Professor Sprout wasn't being fair," she stated quickly, attempting to defend herself.
"I argued with a Hufflepuff. I might have thrown in some insults- I can't remember," she finished weakly. "That's all I swear."
Professor McGonagall raised an eyebrow. "That's all?" she asked in shock. "Yes," Y/N replied.
"Huh, that's new," Professor McGonagall mumbled. "You two. I don't want to see you talking in class anymore. Focus on the notes." Y/N and Eli looked at each other in defeat.
"She's so scary"
"I know"
After an hour of taking notes and practicing transfiguration, class ended. With their different class schedules, Y/N and Eli had to part ways at this point. Y/N was off to Divination, while Eli was heading to History of Magic.
Y/N arrived at the North Tower and immediately spotted Mars, a Ravenclaw that she had grown very close with this year.
"Can I sit with you?" she asked, earning a nod of approval from Mars.
"Yes, of course," Mars replied enthusiastically.
As soon as Y/N sat down, a crystal ball appeared on their desk, much to their surprise.
"Your Jupiter planet seems to be bothered, that means you'll die next year," Mars said, mimicking Professor Trelawny's voice.
"Oh no," Y/N gasped "What a shame," she said sarcastically. "I can't wait though."
Y/N started waving her hands around the crystal ball with a serious expression on her face.
"Damn it," she said. "Ravenclaw will lose to Gryffindor."
Mars pushed Y/N playfully. "Shove off," he continued playfully.
"You don't need to be an expert in Divination to know what happens next," a high-pitched voice said, causing both of them to freeze.
"We both get Outstandings- nevermind we won't," Mars started to say, only to immediately stop as he saw the furious look on the professor's face.
"What's with these professors sneaking up on me today?" Y/N grumbled, rolling her eyes in annoyance.
Y/N strongly disliked Professor Trelawney. Not just because she was unable to excel in Divination, but also because the professor irritated her in many ways. These ways include Trelawney's annoying trait of speaking nonsense
"Miss Y/N, change seats," The professor glanced around, suddenly noticing two Slytherins enter the classroom. "You can sit with Miss Lee,"
The two girls' faces turned into horror the second their eyes met.
"Never"
"Hell no"
"Either change seats, or you both get detention," the professor threatened solemnly.
"Why do I get detention when it's her fault?" Bada rolled her eyes, clearly annoyed at the situation.
"You're late, Miss Lee. Don't act so innocent," the professor said.
Hearing this made Bada snap back into her seat, realizing that protesting further would not do any good.
"It's not looking good for me," Bada mumbled to Mika, who only snickered in reply.
"It's only one class, don't complain," Mika replied.
In response, Bada let out a scoff "With her? It feels like a week."
On the other side of class, Y/N was quietly grabbing her book and muttering curses.
"It can't be that bad"
In response, Y/N whined, pointing at Bada. "It is," she said. "We're talking about her.
"Forgot about your little rivalry," Mars said with a chuckle.
"Pray for me, no actually, pray for her," Y/N muttered to Mars as she got up from her seat and headed to the new spot the professor had assigned for her.
On her way there, she shot Mika a dark look, only to receive a smug smirk in response from the Slytherin girl.
Stupid Slytherins
Without looking at the tall girl, Y/N sat down on the chair and scooted it away from Bada. Almost instantly, a strong, familiar smell wafted in front of Y/N's nose, filling her nostrils with the musky scent mixed with hints of vanilla.
Bada looked up and noticed that Y/N had scooted the chair away from her. Rolling her eyes, she looked away and went back to her work, clearly not caring about Y/N's discomfort.
Bada noticed that Y/N had scooted the chair away from her. Without saying a word, she rolled her eyes at the other girl's obvious discomfort.
She tried, she really did but Bada was simply incapable of keeping quiet in this situation. She simply couldn't sit there without throwing in a word toward the Gryffindor girl.
Since the first time the two of them had met, they had been constantly arguing. This was something that was deeply ingrained in Bada's memory.
Smirking, Bada scooted closer, eager to poke at Y/N's nerves.
"Afraid of me, Y/N?" she asked with a smirk on her face.
Noticing Bada's smirk, Y/N simply pressed her teeth together in annoyance "You wish"
"Then why are you sitting so far away then?" Bada asked, her voice dripping with sass. She then proceeded to grab the chair that Y/N was sitting on and scoot it closer to her table.
Y/N gasped in surprise, turning to face the Slytherin girl. "Are you crazy?"
Putting a finger on her chin, Bada pretended to mull over the question, her thoughts running wild in her head.
"I wouldn't say 'crazy,' per se," Bada said, her words dripping with sass.
"But I would certainly say that I am a little out of touch with the concept of 'personal space' when it comes to you," she continued, her smirk growing wider at that subtle dig.
"I'll bring you back to reality," Y/N hissed as she fully glared at Bada.
"You're nothing but an arrogant bitch who only cares about yourself-"
Bada's face changed just as Y/N's words reached their end. Her smirk from earlier now fell, turning into a scowl as she listened to what Y/N had to say.
"If you looked around more, you'd see that the world doesn't revolve around you and your little friends," Y/N continued.
Both girls were completely focused on their argument, and seemingly didn't notice that their faces were incredibly close together.
"Girls."
Neither Bada or Y/N made a single move. The rest of the class did not break their gazes, as they had become accustomed to the girls' bickers and just waited for things to calm down.
"Girls" the professor repeated and they both turned to glare at the professor
"What" they both said
"Pay attention" the professor said now sitting on the armchair near the fire "Alright my dear children now..."
She lifted her wand, her eyes glowing with a wild intensity. She pointed it towards the table and a tea cup rose into the air. With a flick of her wrist, it flew across the room towards her. "Beware the trap set before you, my dear," she uttered in a low and serious tone, her eyes locking with Y/N's.
Y/N's eyes widened in surprise, her gaze filling with sudden fear as she processed the professor's words.
"She's insane," she muttered under her breath, her expression turning from confusion to outright dread.
Bada found herself nodding along in agreement, but she quickly shook her head - she couldn't agree with her
"Collect a tea cup from the shelf, come to me and I'll fill it up" the professor continued "then drink it until only the dregs remain, swill the cup three times and give it to your partner to read it"
Bada and Y/N glared at each other after the professor said 'partners'
After what seemed like an eternity of waiting, the girls finally got to the part where their tea leaves would be interpreted. As they swirled the contents of their cups and waited for the professor's words, their glares were still firmly locked on each other
"I'll read yours first," Y/N mumbled as she grabbed Bada's cup with a little force
As she looked into the cup of tea, Y/N felt herself slowly regretting her decision to not skip class. As her eyes tried to make out any figures or forms within the cup of tea leaves, she was met with nothing but disappointment.
"Huh, I don't see-" Y/N stops abruptly, her eyes suddenly catching a glimpse of something among the tea leaves.
Leaning in closer, she tries to make out the shape or image of whatever it might be.
"Oh wait, I see an acorn!" Y/N exclaims as she finally recognizes the shape in the tea leaves.
"It says you'll have a good change in life," she adds, her tone of voice full of surprise and curiosity "Im good at this"
Bada snorted "You suck"
"Alright, let's see you do it then." Y/N raises her brows expectantly, handing Bada the tea cup.
The slytherin takes the tea cup and looks into its contents, her expression suddenly changing.
"What the fuck"
Y/N looks at her with a slight concern. "What?"
"Falcon," Bada suddenly says, her tone of voice full of shock and horror.
"It means death," she adds, her words hanging in the air as Y/N's heart dropped.
Y/N didn't necessarily believe in the meaning of tea leaf readings and other forms of divination, but she had to admit that some of the interpretations of the tea leaves held some truth to them.
"Where do you see that?" she asks worriedly leaning over Bada
Bada couldn't help but hide a laugh as she saw Y/N's worried face.
"Look" Y/N bit her lip, still looking for the falcon among the tea leaves.
"Now I see a wolf," Bada continued
"A wolf?" Y/N repeated, her words filled with a mixture of confusion and fear. She grabbed ber book trying to find the wolf symbol. After the sighting of the falcon in her tea leaves, Y/she expects nothing but bad news.
"It means that the hottest and most intelligent girl in Hogwarts is sitting next to you," Bada laughed, her words causing Y/N to drop her book making the desk shake
As Y/N slowly tilted her head to look at Bada, her expression slowly turned to a grimace, which caused Bada to break into further laughter.
"You bitch, give me that" Y/N snapped at Bada, quickly picking up her tea cup from Bada's hands.
"Avada kedavra yourself,"
"Girls, be quiet," the professor said, as she walked up behind both Bada and Y/N. Both girls flinched at her presence, their eyes widening in surprise "Give me your cup"
"Oh my dear, you have the anchor," the seer broke into a grin
Y/N turned to Bada, her eyes narrowing at her.
"What does that mean?"
"How the fuck would I know?" Bada replied with a slight frown, her voice full of annoyance.
"It means you'll find love," the professor finally replied, her tone still somewhat vague as she handed Y/N the cup.
Y/N stared at her cup, her eyes widening in surprise as she suddenly realized that she could see the anchor. And that made her smile
Bada kept a close eye on Y/N, with every passing second she felt herself growing more and more amused by the sight of Y/N
"Are they smiling?" Mika asked, looking back and forth between Bada and Y/N, their expressions both filled with disbelief.
"I wish I had a camera," Mars said quietly to Mika, unable to contain the laughter that was slowly building up inside of them.
"Ouch!" Bada yelped when Y/N suddenly pinched her.
"What was that for?" she asked with a slight frown
"That was for lying and scaring me." Y/N replied but Bada reached out and tightened her tie
"Motherfu-"
"Y/N stop it!"
"Stop kicking my shin"
"Let me-
"Bada sto-"
Their eyes widened slightly as they heard that shattering sound, their gazes slowly shifting down to the ground.
As they realized that the crystal ball had fallen, Y/N gasped while Bada merely huffed in response.
Professor Trelawney moved closer to the two girls, her expression becoming more and more furious as she looked directly at Y/N and Bada.
"I can see potions class, that means we have detention," Y/N said quickly, taking Bada's cup and speaking as if she had just made the most obvious deduction in the world.
Professor Trelawney's expression shifted to one of annoyance as she heard Y/N's words, her anger slowly starting to fester.
"Detention for you two at 5!" she finally said, her words laced with a slight hint of disdain.
"Amazing," Bada groaned, pinching the bridge of her nose. "This is all your fault," she continued, turning to Y/N with a slightly frustrated tone.
"My fault?" Y/N scoffed, her tone shifting from casual to defensive as she looked up at Y/N.
"You started this"
"QUIET"
Tumblr media
Bada rubbed her neck as she entered the Great Hall, her step slowing slightly as she looked around at the various student's filling the space around her.
It wasn't like she had many classes this day, but the divination class had left her feeling drained and tired
Professor Trelawney could often leave Bada feeling this way, and she found herself wanting to avoid that class at all costs.
"Why do I put myself through this?" she asked herself quietly
"You look like you ran a marathon," Dani suddenly popped up alongside Bada as they made their way towards the Slytherin table.
Bada let out a tired sigh "I wish I did that instead."
"She made her sit with Y/n" Mika exclaims, catching Dani by surprise.
"Are you serious?" Dani laughs and replies with disbelief. "She's got something against Bada, for sure."
"I got detention because of her," Bada explains with a frown
"Well, it's not like you were innocent either," Mika retorts "You were the one who pushed the crystal ball"
"Yoo you did what"
"I don't even care," Bada grumbled, pushing her food away.
"You're obsessed with her" Eli's voice spoke in front of her.
"Of course you would say that." Bada replied, facing Eli. "You're her best friend"
"I'm just telling you the truth." Eli shrugged, keeping her arms crossed in front of her.
"Stop that smirk, I know what goes on in your mind." Bada pointed her fork in Eli's direction.
"Yeah, whatever," Eli waved a hand dismissively. "I just came to talk about practice.
At the mention of quidditch Bada's eyes lit up "Tomorrow after classes, I talked to Snape he got us the pitch"
"Oh, so he is useful," Eli rolled her eyes.
Bada nodded, understanding that most Slytherins, including herself, weren't the biggest fans of Professor Snape. As the head of their house, though, he could grant special favors like the Quidditch pitch for practice or never taking points
"I'm kinda stressed about the game next week," Lila confided.
"Pff, why?" Bada smirked and waved a hand dismissively, clearly not understanding Lila's stress. "It's Gryffindor, come on," she replied.
Lila narrowed her eyes at Bada. "It's Gryffindor, You and I both know that they have excellent players. Especially with Y/N being captain. We can't underestimate them and go in with a cocky attitude."
"What's so special about Y/N being a captain?" Bada hissed. Y/N this Y/N that, Bada was tired of jer
"I thought you'd know by now," Eli remarked with a shrug. "You're always watching Y/N play," she added with a smirk.
"That's not true"
Lila spoke up, "It's true"
Bada turned to Dani, frowning. "Dani? I might need a little help here."
Dani didn't hesitate to turn the tables on Bada, giving her a sympathetic smile. "Sorry, I'm with them on this one," she replied.
Bada let out a frustrated sigh as she spoke. "Fine, okay, but it was only because I wanted to see the strategies she uses," she said.
She took a treacle tart from the table, her friends' eyes watching her closely. As she raised her head and saw their eyes staring straight at her, she felt herself freeze. "What?"
"Did yall hear that"
"Pfft strategies"
"It's 5:12"
"Is she really trying to lie to us"
"Five-twelve, Professor Trelawney is going to kill me," she mumbled as she tried her best to devour the entire tart in a single bite. "I- go- bye," she added, waving a hand dismissively and running off to try to get to the dungeons
She wasn't the type of person to worry about getting detention, but now that she was captain and a prefect, she hated the fact that she had to be on her best behavior. Upon seeing the dark door at the end of the hall, Bads took a deep breath and gave herself a moment to prepare before entering.
As the strong scent of potions hit Bada's nose, she had to try her best to keep herself from gagging. She noticed with dread the familiar Gryffindor sitting across from Professor Trelawney, upon hearing the cracking sound of the door, the two heads turned to face her
"You're late, Miss Bada," Professor Trelawney exclaimed, her hands on her hips.
"Sorry, Professor," Bada replied with a sweet smile. "I got held up talking to Prof Snape."
A loud sound was heard and Snape stepped away from the shelves in the corner of the room, holding some potions. His expression remained impassive, as always.
"Oh really?"
The slytherin girl quickly corrected herself, her eyes darting around the office. "What I meant to say was that I was trying to find Professor Snape, which was unsuccessful, as you can see," she continued, speaking quickly before the professor could interrupt. "That's- why I was late."
Y/N's eyes narrowed as she heard Bada's feeble excuse, but she remained silent. A low snort escaped her lips before she turned her attention back to Professor Trelawney
"You have an hour detention," Professor Trelawney stated "I want you to clean this class and also rearrange the potions according to their correct labels."
Bada's eyes widened as the seer continued. "Professor Snape will check with me later to make sure that you didn't use any wands"
"That's not fair!" Y/N spoke up, her tone whiny.
"At least make it 30 minutes," she continued, sounding desperate.
Professor Trelawney gave her a disapproving look before replying, "Wanna make it two hours?"
Bada quickly grabbed a broom, her expression sullen as she tried to hide her frustration. "Let's get it over with," she muttered, and began the tedious-sounding task.
The two girls handed over their wands to Snape, and the two professors left the class.
With Professor Trelawney and Professor Snape out of sight, Y/N turned to Bada "Unbelievable," she grumbled.
"I know," Bada replied.
Y/N heard a crack at the sharp turn of her head, and turned her eyes to face Bada. "Stop agreeing with me,"
With a huff of annoyance, Bada began cleaning the floor. "Fine, I wish she gave us two hours then,"
No one spoke as they cleaned the room. The only sounds that could be heard were the broom sweeping across the floor and the soft sound of cauldrons being handled in the distance.
Y/N was gently cleaning the cauldrons, glancing with curiosity at Bada's appearance.
The Slytherin's hair was tied up in a low ponytail, her bangs in a slightly messy state. She rarely wore the uniform correctly, but today, it felt different to Y/N.
Bada's shirt hung low around her frame, and the green tie laid loose. The Slytherin's appearance caught Y/N's eye for a moment, as if she found Bads attractive. Though she would never have said it out loud,
Y/N was the opposite of her, with her uniform always put together and looking proper.
She wasn't used to being alone with the Slytherin girl, and as a result, she felt somewhat uncomfortable with the silence. In an attempt to lessen her nerves, she cleared her throat and asked, "What's your favorite color?"
"Are you for real?" Bada's face turned up towards Y/N as she spoke.
The Gryffindor gave her an annoyed glance, "Well, it's a simple question," she explained. "Mine is red."
Bads smirked slightly, one eyebrow raising in amusement. "Very Gryffindor of you," she repeated, a slight edge to her voice as she turned back to sweeping the floor.
"So...?" Y/N trailed off as she continued to sweep. Her eyes were fixed on the floor, but she listened carefully as Bads answered the question.
The Slytherin's voice was quiet, but her tone was confident as she replied, "Green."
Y/N smiled, repeating Bada's words "Very Slytherin of you," she teased, making the other girl smile slightly in response.
"Your turn"
Bada's face was full of annoyance as her eyes went to Y/N. She let out a loud sigh as she spoke, her frustration already running high. "What are your strategies for the next game?"
Y/N dropped the cauldron. "Hey, simple questions," she replied, her voice a bit higher than usual.
"Your favorite professor?"
"Minnie"
"Your strategies for the next game?"
"To beat you," Y/N replied, moving over to the various tools that had been left out.
Bada dropped the broom, feeling a bit frustrated with the detention. She was now seated in front of Y/N, watching the Gryffindor in close proximity. "Hey, I tried," she shrugged
"What are you doing?" Y/N looked up at Bada, her expression revealing her disbelief.
Bads narrowed her eyes, looking irritated as she responded, "Staring."
Y/N couldn't stop herself from rolling her eyes. "Oh, thank you for your clear answer," she said sarcastically. "I never would have known that on my own. Why aren't you cleaning?"
"Oh, come on, Y/N," Bada huffed. "I'm not gonna clean the entire class," she complained as she looked around the classroom. "Look how big it is,"
"I don't care," Y/N responded quickly, putting the tools and rag in front of her. "You won't get in trouble with Snape, but I will, so start."
"Or what" Bada challenged waiting for her reaction
"You might regret it" her mouth turned into a playful grin
Without waiting for an answer, Y/N headed towards the small storeroom in the corner, struggling to carry five different potions. Bada, however, was too busy admiring Y/N to bother helping her.
The Slytherin's eyes roamed Y/N's entire body, taking in the way her skirts hugged her hips and the length of her legs. There was something enticing about the way she carried herself, something that made her want to keep staring. Bads even wondered how her body would feel against hers, what it would be like to touch her skin and run her fingers over her curves
Bada's eyes travelled to Y/N's face, unable to deny that she was one of the most beautiful girls in Hogwarts. Even though they had a bit of a competition going on, Bada couldn't help but notice how captivating Y/N was. The shorter girl's facial features were beyond compare, with sharp eyes that cut through the air and high cheekbones that added a touch of elegance to her appearance. Bada thought to herself: If anyone was the most beautiful girl at Hogwarts, it had to be Y/N.
"Are you even listening to me?" Y/N's voice snapped Bada back into reality.
"Well, yeah," she replied, sounding a bit unsure of whether or not she was actually being truthful.
"Doesn't seem like it," Y/N repeated with a mischievous smile. "Come help me hold the door. Just don't let it close otherwise can't go out"
The Gryffindor rolled her eyes at the charm that Professor Snape had put in place. In case the door locks no one from inside can open it. While it was annoying, it was also smart.
With a heavy sigh, Bada moved towards the small closet, stomping along the way. She walked past Y/N and held the doors open, determined not to talk to the Gryffindor any more than necessary.
Y/N stood now inside the closet, on top of a chair putting various potions away. She had to wonder just how long it would take them to clean up the whole of Potions class. At least now they had each other's help.
"Work faster," Bada grumbled, leaning against the door. Her eyes were fixed on Y/N
"I'm sorry, I'm the one doing everything here," Y/N answered, turning to look at tall girl. She was surprised by the Slytherin's attitude, but wasn't about to back down from a fight.
"Excuse me?"
Y/N narrowed her eyes at Bada, she wasn't paying attention to where she was placing the potion. With a quick motion, the Gryffindor moved the vial towards the shelf, accidentally missing and knocking it over. The fall caused her to lose her balance, and Bada's eyes widened as she saw the incident happen.
"Fuck- DON'T"
"YO"
Bada quickly left her place, seeing Y/N lose her balance. She didn't hesitate to reach out to catch the Gryffindor before she fell, but the moment she did, the door of the closet unexpectedly closed. The darkness felt stiflingly close and Bads felt a twinge of panic
Y/N's heart felt like it was about to burst inside her chest. She couldn't decide which part of the situation was causing her heart to pound: the fact that they were now stuck in the closet, the fall itself, or the feeling of Bada holding her bridal style.
The darkness wasn't overwhelming, but thanks to a crack in the door, there was just enough light for Y/N to see Bada's face clearly.
"Um," Y/N started, and Bada's eyes went to hers in an instant.
In a sheer panic, the Slytherin hadn't realized just how close their faces were until it was too late. Y/N had her arms wrapped around the older girl's neck and Bada was holding her tightly.
Both of them found themselves rooted to the spot, their eyes locked on the other. Neither one could find the strength or energy to pull away from the close proximity they found themselves in, both feeling trapped in the moment.
Y/N's gaze darted to Bada's parted lips for a quick second, and for that split moment, a surge of heat travelled through her body. She quickly looked back up, her eyes focused on Bada's face.
Why did she like the feeling of being this close to her
Bada felt like she was going crazy as well. Her stomach was in knots and her knees were weak. She could feel the warmth of Y/N's breath on her face, a closeness she was starting to find herself enjoying. She was sure she was losing her mind because she knew Y/N hated her, just like Bada hated Y/N
If they hated each other so much, why did she find herself imagining what it would be like to taste the girl she despited so much ? Bada was sure she was going insane, the mere thought of being intimate with Y/N ridiculous and unthinkable. And yet, there she was, imagining what Y/N's lips would be like against her own.
"What the hell!" the taller girl yelled, dropping Y/N to the ground without even warning her.
"Why the fuck did you just drop me?"
"Why'd you pinch me?"
The girls immediately reverted back to their previous hostile and combative state, looking at each other with daggers in their eyes. It didn't take much to get them worked up and pissed off at one another, especially when it came to the tiniest of infractions.
Y/N got up, dusting off her now-dirty skirt while trying to salvage whatever dignity she had left "It's all your fault"
Laughter filled the room as Bada held up her hands in defense. "Me? Who decided to twirl on the chair, hmm?"
Y/N was furious. "Because you wouldn't help," she snapped at Bada.
Bada scoffed and shook her head. "Don't put it on me now, when it's clearly your fault," she said.
Y/N balled her hands into fists. "I'm not doing this with you," she said, frustrated. "Just forget it. Whatever, it doesn't matter."
"It does matter," Bada muttered, leaning back against the wooden wall. Despite the distance between them, her body was still close to Y/N's. "We are stuck here until Snape comes"
Y/N hated small spaces, but she had no choice but to suck it up. There was no way she was going to let Bada know about her claustrophobia. She knew she'd never hear the end of it. Even now, as she squeezed herself into a tiny space, she could almost feel Bada's mocking gaze on her.
"So what's your favorite number"
"Don't even start"
Y/N sighed and looked away. "I'm trying to make this less boring," she said, trying to hide her frustration.
"Well, don't," Bada replied, her tone still cold. "You're making it worse."
"You're such a bitch," Y/N said and Bada only smirked in response.
"Im honored," Bada replied with a small curtsey, her sarcasm apparent.
"You look like an idiot"
"You are one"
"Jump off a cliff"
"You're such a sad case"
"You jerk"
"Snooty bitch"
The two girls' mouths never stopped throwing curses at each other. Y/N was so caught up in her anger that she didn't realize how close she now was to Bada.
Bada was feeling the same anger, even if she wasn't showing it. Her eyes were flashing with defiance as she continued to hurl invective at Y/N. They were both consumed by the moment, completely caught up in their emotions.
Suddenly, Bada stepped closer, pressing up against Y/N.
Y/N's eyes widened in surprise as she suddenly realized how close she was to Bada. She had been so caught up in the moment that she hadn't noticed their proximity until now. Despite her shock, she didn't move away.
Bada didn't notice how she had pinned Y/N against the wall. Despite her frustration, she found herself taking in every moment of Y/N's features. The full lips, sharp eyes, and plush hair - everything was so enticing.
They stood inches apart, pressed together by Bada's arms. She felt the heat rise to her cheeks as she remained transfixed by Y/N's beauty.
She didn't move, she didn't want to move
No words were spoken, but every look spoke a thousand emotions. Just a week ago, Y/N would've laughed at the idea of this position - trapped under the one she hated the most.
But now, she wasn't sure. Could she still call it hate?
"Bada..?" Bada felt her knees threatening to give out as Y/N's gaze settled on her.
Y/N's lips were slightly parted, her breath coming out in short, sharp inhales. Her eyes were wide, like those of a deer caught in the headlights, completely enthralled by her.
"Yeah.."
They were leaning closer, both wanting this so much to their own surprise. Their noses touched, and the air between them was suddenly alive with a tingling energy.
This is it, Y/N thought to herself, this is where she loses her sanity
She closed her eyes, trying to focus on slowing down her pounding heart. But it was useless; her heart continued to race, and every thought she tried to control went out the window as she gave in to her feelings.
Y/N's heart was racing as their lips brushed, but she couldn't contain her excitement for long. She almost whined at the older girl's teasing.
"What in the world are you two doing?"
Y/N and Bada quickly separated from each other when a piercing voice interrupted their moment. Bada's eyes darted to the potions professor who was glaring at them. Y/N stepped back in dismay, her face red with embarrassment.
This was going just great
Y/N gulped as her mind went blank. She had no idea what to say, and she hoped that the girl in front of her took the lead
She looked over at Bada who was avoiding her gaze. "We got stuck..." Bada said, trailing off. She seemed to be searching for words but had none to say.
"I can see that," the professor said slowly, his voice clipped and sharp. He took a few steps backward but continued to glare at them.
"I suggest you two leave," he added with a cold glance.
The professor didn't need to say any more. Y/N and Bada quickly exited the closet, their heads hung low in shame. Y/N grabbed her bag and took off, running away from the awkward situation. She didn't want to face Bada, and she had no idea what to say to her.
Y/N only wished that the next few days would pass without any mention of what had happened. She wanted to forget, to pretend that everything was the same as it was before.
But that might be a pipe dream, as her mind kept going back to that moment. And the thought of seeing Bada again made her heart flutter, reminding her that she couldn't ignore her new feelings so easily.
Bada was still sitting in class when the professor told her to wait. She was shaking, filled with anxiety and nerves. She knew that the professor wasn't dumb, and he must have known what was going on
"Miss Lee"
Bada snapped her attention to the professor who hadn't lost his stern glare. "Yes, Professor," she responded, making sure her voice didn't shake in fear.
The professor remained silent for a moment, his gaze piercing and critical. Finally, he said, "I hope you know that whatever you two were about to do isn't right"
Bada gulped, but she was determined not to back down. "We weren't doing anything, sir," she said, her voice shaky yet defiant. "The closet is small as you can see, so we had to squish in a little closer."
The professor's eyes narrowed, and he took a step towards her. "If you say so, Miss Lee." he said in a cold tone. "I only need to send an owl for your parents to be here."
Bada felt a chill run down her spine as she realized how vulnerable she was in this situation.
"Like I said," she repeated with an equally firm glare. "It was nothing."
"Good, you can leave now"
Bada didn't hesitate. She grabbed her bag and rushed out. Her fingers were shaking. Telling her parents? Hell no, she thought to herself.
She had already gone through hell and back at home, and she didn't need much more of that stress on her plate. Her parents would lose their minds if they found out that she almost kissed a girl. They would kill her
Kissing Y/N... She wasn't about to kiss her right...?
Bada's mind was racing with excuses to convince herself that what had happened between her and Y/N meant nothing. But every excuse fell flat.
She hated Y/N. Y/N hated her. That's how it always was... Even those excuses no longer made sense. She couldn't stop thinking about Y/N; she couldn't stop longing for Y/N's lips on hers again.
But was it hate that she felt all these years towards Y/N?

Today happened too be one of those days where the clouds are grey the winds are high but sunny enough for the prefect weather . also the day Yun decided to confess her love to her bestfriend bada . They've known each other since childhood til there now adulthood . from being the angry playground girl to bestfriends for life.
Yun had decided on this very day that she would confess her love to her bestfriend no matter what circumstances and nothing would stop her . everything had been planned out they'meet up at there favorite side of the beach for their little picnic she had planned and also a walk on the beach that they normally do but would be the moment she confess.

Yun accidentally dropping a utensil and they both bent to pick it up but suddenly felt a shock has there hands touch there laughter could be heard has the wind blows.
Deciding to move out the hair that's blocking out her bestfriends face and pulling her in for a kiss would have been a very dreadful mistakes has the next thing she knows is being pushed over on the sanding floor. And getting yelled at by a surprised bada who wasn't expecting that.
What the heck was that for yun. says bada has she's picking up her stuff to leave the site and to think about what just happened . Yun on the other hand couldn't comprehend everything that just happened in that second,
shocked and stil on the sanding floor with tears rolling down her eyes and questioning why she would do that. Unable to say anything while wachting the woman she loved most leave her sight had to be the most heartbreaking thing she ever felt .
On the side would have be a student who knows both women and goes to there school witnessing the whole situation and recoding it. Hitting send to having it sent to the school web for everyone to see.

Where did you get that from said Yun. It all over the school web and you need to stay away from bada has she's getting all this unnecessary backlash even though it was you who kissed her first replied tatter.
Trying to get something out of her mouth but begin hushed up wasn't helping her situation while getting surrendered by multiple students. All she could do was try getting out of that space and too just exit the school.
It had been 12 days since Yun had last gone to school .
locked up in her room reading the comments on the video most of it begin the most hateful and disgusting stuff. most of it being from close friends or others family members the one's she knows and doesn't.

Yun would end her life not knowing she got the message she wanted to know only if she had 4 more minutes.
Yun had been discovered by her mother who couldn't bear the pain of losing her one and only child and having to announce it to the people who had caused her this much pain.
November 4th Yun funeral
A few people had attended bada and her parents and Yun's mum who couldn't invite anyone else knowing. most people had hated her and also for being the reason why her daughter is gone.

being bada's best friend would be the death of you, you were calling it right now.
she wasn't a bad friend by any means, quite the opposite actually. from the late night talks that would last until the early mornings before you both passed out, the tiny, sentimental gifts she would randomly get for you without expecting anything in return, to the way she would hold you, god, she was perfect. you loved everything about her.
but, that was the problem, wasn't it? you loved her. and a part of you wants to blame her for making it so easy, falling for her, but you know that would be unfair. not only because she wasn't leading you on or anything, but also because she couldn't do any wrong in your eyes.
everytime your heart fluttered at one of her actions, it would sink just as quickly. she's doing this as a friend, you would always remind yourself. but your not so friendly reminders didn't stop you from hoping. for something more, that one day, miracously, bada would realise that she was in lo–
"what's got you so worried?" you were pulled out of your daily dose of dramatic reality checking by none other than bada. her head was in your lap, she stared up at you with a look that you could only describe as... content. comfortable. and so, so beautiful.
"huh?" you answered, having not heard her clearly, too busy being in your head instead of in the real world, where unfortunately, you belonged.
she raised her arm and pressed on the space between your eyebrows, a small pout on her face. "you're frowning. what's wrong, pretty?"
the nicknames. the fucking. nicknames.
pretty, gorgeous, baby, love, honey. it was things like that made you believe, even if just for a moment, that she knew that you liked her, loved her, and was just toying with you for enjoyment.
you'd feel guilty everytime you had that thought. she wouldn't. not to you, not to anyone, not ever.
"it's nothing, really. I'm just in a mood today." you shrugged, hoping that she would, for your sake, take your half-hearted explanation and leave it there.
she nodded, clearly unconvinced, but moved one nonetheless. "do you still wanna go to the club tonight? we can cancel and spend the night together instead." she offered, lifting her head off of your lap in favour of placing it on your shoulder, waiting for your answer.
"no, we can still go, we'll just come back here together. we've blown off our friends enough times, I'm starting to feel bad." you joked, and once again, the atmosphere was light and airy. with that settled, you both stood up, trying to find something to wear for the nights activities.
you walked into her closet, sprinkled with tops and skirts from your own, almost laughing at the absurdity of the situation. for someone who claimed that being around bada was painful, your personal stamp on her home sure made it hard to believe.
"how's this?" you said for what felt like the 29th time to bada (it was only the third) as you spun around for her, showing off one of your options for the night.
she sat at the edge of the bed, ready to go about 20 minutes before you, as she usually was. her head was tilted back, staring at the ceiling as she waited patiently for you to finally choose something to wear.
you tried not to stare at her neck, which she made easier for you by finally looking at you, tilting her head to the side as she inspected your outfit.
"I was gonna say its looks as good as the other two because you look amazing in anything and everything, but... I like this one. a lot."
the way she looked at you when she said that, with her bottom lip between her teeth, stayed with you as you walked to the club together, hand in hand. did she really have no idea how much she affected you? you weren't sure if you hoped that she didn't, or did.
but you weren't going to think of that tonight. you were going to drink, and dance, and hang out with your friends, and not let bada affect you. if only for just one night.
okay, maybe you had had one too many drinks by now, but you weren't drunk just yet. it was still the normal you, just with a few tweaks. a little less shame here, a little more confidence here, nothing too major.
you were half in minah's lap and half in tatters, singing obnoxiously, almost as loud as the song blasting from the speakers. you weren't even thinking of bada... wait, where the hell was bada?
you squinted your eyes as they darted across the dance floor, hopelessly trying to locate her in the dim lighting of the club. but you didn't have to look for long, because she was headed back to your table, a smile painted on her face.
you stood up, suprisingly not stumbling as you walked up to her, wrapping your arms around her shoulders. "where were you?" you shouted over the music, wearing a curious expression.
she bit her lip excitedly before speaking into your ear, sending involuntary shivers down your spine. damn you and your natural charm, bada.
"I met a girl." you didn't mean for your face to drop in the way that it did, but from the looks of it, bada didn't even notice. if she did, then she didn't mention it.
"she actually wants to come over to my place..." bada trailed off, sending you a pleading look, a certain lust-driven glee shining in her eyes.
"oh." you said flatly before you could stop yourself, moving your arms away from her and crossing them over your chest.
she quickly wrapped her arms around your middle, squeezing while pleading her case in an effort to soften the blow. it doesn't help, not one bit.
"I know we were supposed to have a binging marathon, but please baby? just this once? I'll make it up to you real good, you know I always do." 'because I always let you.' you wanted to add, but you bit your tongue, you weren't feining for a fight with bada right about now.
you sigh, your arms hanging limply by your sides. "okay. I'll just crash at lushers'." you fight the urge to gag as she squeals in excitement, at the prospect of spending the night with someone who isn't you.
she gave you a curious look, most likely sensing your jealousy apprehension, her arms still around you, feeling more suffocating than comforting at that moment.
"...are you sure?" no. I'm not, don't go with her.
you nodded furiously, removing her arms from your frame, and turning her around, pushing her toward the dance floor where she had left her pursuit for the night. "go, she'll think you're blowing her off if you keep talking to me."
"are you actually, super, one hundred percent certain that I can go with her?" she pushed you further, and you knew that she knew that you weren't really all that okay with it.
but what was the point? you could easily sway her into sticking to the original plan, but she would've spent the whole night daydreaming about what could've been with the mysterious girl at the club. you didn't want to deal with that. you were tired of feeling like a second choice.
you wanted her to choose you, because she wanted to choose you. not because you asked her to.
'no, I'm not sure. I don't want you to go with her. I want you to choose me for once. choose me.' you screamed in your own mind, but all that could be seen on the outside was you smiling the best you could at bada, nodding once more before walking back to where the rest of your group sat, downing the drink in front of you.
you didn't know if it was even yours, but it didn't matter to you right now.
minah noticed your sudden change in mood, holding your hand in hers in a silent attempt to comfort you. you squeezed it as means of expressing gratitude, you didn't wanna talk about it.
but, you didn't need to. she knew, and if the downright pitiful looks the rest of the group were throwing your way were anything to go by, it seemed that everyone else knew too.
you wanted to leave, so you left. lusher had no problem going home early with you, she could tell that you weren't in a good headspace. you left with lushers arms around you, half to make sure that you didn't stumble, and half to try to make you feel a little better.
you left with a bitter taste in your mouth, and not from the shitty drinks you were downing.
you left without saying goodbye to bada, which you never did. she waved when she saw you by the door, that big smile still evident even in the dark lighting.
you didn't wave back.
a/n: this wasn't planned, and I wrote it in a day, but I hope you guys like it. also, doing a bada series and and a bada smau at the same time isn't my brightest idea, but fuck it, we ball.
