WIP word search game!

I was tagged by @wordsinhaled! Thanks for the tag! :D

My words are: breath, rest, head, once, far, only, hello

breath: (from smol!Dream)

Hob rubbed his tiny back with one hand, and felt Dream relax against him again, felt the motion of his breathing, the body-warmth of a child tucked against him. "Well, in that case, welcome to my home, stay as long as you like. Would you care for a snack? Something to drink?"

Dream took a long breath, and made a thoughtful little hum which was, in his child's voice, perishingly adorable. "I suppose not wine."

rest: (from the Family Man AU)

He didn't have to listen; he could feel Hob's breath on his ear, his cheek, and the little shiver it sent down his spine was a very welcome contrast to the cold numb feeling of the rest of him. He leaned into Hob's warmth--so different from glass, from isolation--and he made a clumsy effort to match his breathing to Hob's. Slower, not so deep. Not gasping as if he had been suffocating for a hundred years.

Destiny shook his head slowly, and made a little gesture like if they were both entirely different beings, he might have put a consoling hand on Dream's shoulder. "You shall marry, and not to a woman of any sort," Destiny said. "Your marriage will be long, but not fruitful."

"Hello," the woman said, only barely managing to tear Hob's attention away from his friend. "We've not exactly met, but you are my brother's dearest friend, and he needs looking after for a while."

Trick or Treat!

Are your OCs (any you wish to include, I love them all so much!) any good at carving pumpkins? Would they make (or try to!) a face carving? An elaborate masterpiece? Just stick a knife in it and call it a day? :D

Oh!! What's this, I love it.

Let's go through my bg3 babies and see how they'd do 😂

Auric would make a very passable, very standard Jack o' Lantern. Exactly the sort of carving you picture when you think of Halloween, that's what he'd make. It wouldn't be perfect but it'd be pretty good and he'd put a lot of love into it.

Naught would try and carve a raven on a branch but it'd come out all lopsided and kind of blobby. They'd overwork it until it lost all shape and then shrug it off and claim it represents entropy or something.

Ciaran would panic. He'd overthink it until the very last second, then carve the smallest, saddest little ._. face. He'd be so embarrassed, but it's kind of cute and charming in its own way and eventually he'd grow too attached to it.

Jinx would go all out. Multiple pumpkins, elaborate carvings, the whole nine yards. He'd paint them and make whole scenes. Way too over the top. Some of them seem to magically play spooky music. Some explode into fireworks. He can't remember which is which.

Amaris didn't understand the assignment and brought an eggplant.
