His fans sometimes hc him as a merman and that’s just a major plus IMO

Eventually he falls in love with the player and turns his life around, not changing his personality but becoming a better version of himself— still playful, still a little messy, and still the same chicken lover than we fell for. He quits his dead end job at the supermarket, JojaMart, and dedicates his time to the farmer and his growing family, as well as his pet chicken Charlie and at taking care of himself. The player doesn't "fix him", rather gives him a wake up call at the lowest point of his life, helping him become brave enough to take the first and hardest step to seek a mental health professional and better his alcoholism and depression.”

The Bag of Games is a bonafide magical object, I swear to god. Every single time I'm in a rotten place and pick out a new game to distract me, it ends up giving me the exact game I need to be playing at that moment. Like. I just got dumped (knew it was coming, that was one reason I was upset yesterday) and am feeling absolutely hopeless about the state of the world. So the Bag gives me Arcade Spirits: The New Challengers, which is a dating sim with Video Game Men(tm) who can't dump me and ALSO features a character who is experiencing the exact same despair about the world at large that I am. It's cathartic.

Thinking about Rhapsody’s government name being Majd al-Bilali

Because I’m a language enthusiast, broken down Majd means “glory, honor” and Bilal means “moisture, wetness”. I’ve also seen Bilal translated more poetically as “that which quenches thirst”.

So of course Rhapsody wants victory so badly!! They are always chasing after it because it is so much of who they are even down to their name. The thirst for glory is so tied to their identity that it’s no wonder they can’t shake it. They’re seeking that which quenches the thirst for glory.
