ROBIN HOOD by Paul Creswick. (Philadelphia: McKay, 1917). Illustrated by N.C. Wyeth.
Robin Hood is a legendary heroic outlaw, originally depicted in English folklore, who robbed from the rich and gave to the poor. The first written versions are from the 1500s. In Creswick’s retelling, Robin Hood becomes an outlaw after a conflict with foresters and his runs-ins with the law. Each chapter tells a different tale of Robin as he recruits Merry Men, resists the authorities, and aids his fellow man. The popular stories of Little John defeating Robin in a fight with staffs, of Robin's besting at the hands of Friar Tuck, and of his collusion with Allan a Dale all appear. In the end, Robin and his men are pardoned by King Richard the Lionheart and his band are incorporated into the king's retinue, much to the dismay of the Sheriff of Nottingham.

Found this on Pinterest via DeviantArt, and it’s brilliant! 😍🏹
It was this TV show, BBC’s Robin Hood, that inspired me to write fanfic during lockdown. And it was fanfic that finally gave me the confidence to publish my poetry books.
Next step is my Robin Hood-inspired novel.

make me choose meme - Anonymous asked: Robin or Guy
“War is here, it’s right here in the forest. He was an ordinary Englishman, he tilled the fields, he loved his wife, he cared for his children. […] Then he was forced to go to the Holy Land to fight. Look at him, a pitiful shadow of a man. Every day good men like Harold are destroyed out there. Only peace can put a stop to this.”

Seriously, I need more people to gush over the new Arcade Spirits game with. I've already done Domino and Locksley and am currently working my way through Rhapsody's route.
Domino is still my fav, but my gaud the Locksley route had some hilarious and noteworthy highlights.
