I’m completely fine about Dante’s kindness being the very thing that sealed his doom, I absolutely do not think about how he could just have left Leo* to die but instead came back there to help him despite having the risk of dying as well. I don’t think at all how that is what set the story in motion and the reason why so many losses happened, including the love of Dante’s life. And the worst part is that it couldn’t have gone differently because that isn’t him. And he didn’t know back then that he was but a pawn in a game far greater than he could grasp

first draft 7.3.23 16.03

I cant stop thinking about all the things I lack.

I try and take in the moment. Ive read the books. Well one book. Just today I was holding my cat in my arms like he was a baby and I stroked him gently over and over until he fell asleep. I breathed in and out and saw his head rise and fall on my chest. And I looked carefully at the details of him. The tiny hairs sprouting from the inside of hisear. The dirt on his nose. The different length of all his whiskers. And I really tried to take it in. I really tried to be there in that moment.

In that moment I thought again about how he would die some day. We got them as rescues so theuy're 6 but we havent even had them a year. But even if they were brand new I know I would be thinking about it anyway because that’s what happened with my dog who's dead now.

And he just left because I wanted to type this instead.

Im writing this with the window down right at the bottom of the screen so I cant see it. If I see what im writing ill be too self conscious to keep going.the words will stare back at me with all their flaws and ill feel silly for even doing it.

I don’t remember where I was. My ead dog. My alive cats. Is it an insult to bring up that things will die? Its just the truth but the truth can be an insult, like saying someone is annoying or telling everyone you're going for a poo,. When you say these things you gett he strong sense that you shuoldn't have and that’s how I feel when I talk or think about death. But who am I offending?

I get close to grief in that moment with my cat when im looking at his little hairs. I get close to it but im not quite there. I feel joy and I feel sadness for a brief moment both at once. I think to myself tht grief is the rememberance of joy and joy is the acknowledgement of future grief. Then I think to myself I might be ripping off that quote from wandavision but im not sure.

I cant stop thinking about all the things I lack. My brain is too tired and hazy to fit the universe into it and so the universe to me is just this house, and every time I leave it I feel like a different person and when im inside I feel like me but I feel trapped.

I cant make small talk anymore. Who fucking cares? So when people ask me how I am and what ive been up to I have to lie or lie by omisssion. I cant remember the shoshows ive watched or books ive read partly because I don’t read anymore but partly because its not important to me and its not what I think about. I think about all the books I havent read. I think about alll the things I lack.

Even as I write this my mind is becoming foggy and its all so heavy and I want to go and lie down. But when im lying down in bed I cant stop my thoughts and I don’t want that either. I want to feeel connection, connection to my ffiance, I want to feel like we are two souls but it feels like wea are miles away and I feel lonelier than ever. Sometimes I wish we could go back to small talk and pretending to be better than we are because when we try and fail to be honest with each other it somehow hurts more than not trying at all.

Hurt is not the right word. Hurt is at least a feeling and feelings make you feel alive. I don’t know hw to describe how I feel. I am trying. I don’t know if I am succeeding. I cant stop thinking about all the things I lack.

Im going to go and lie down.

Storyteller saturday! What was the first thing you knew that /had to be/ included in your wips? What's special about it? What is giving your motivation to work on your current projects? What's a neat worldbuilding thing you came up with?

I’m gonna tackle these fantastic questions in order:

[H2H = Heart to Heart

FF = Fish Food

AOPC = All Our Painted Colors

TND = The Neither Days]

1. What was the first thing you knew that /had to be/ included in your wips?

H2H: Lesbians. Happy, live-beyond-the-end-of-the-story lesbians who can do magic and are ridiculously wholesome. Also: a strong, loving community; social commentary; enough fluff to stuff a whole set of pillows; cool science stuff.

FF: Humor! Without it, this story would be super duper way too dark. Also, lots of social commentary on… *checks notes*

That. And legit depictions of mental health issues.

AOPC: A culture centered around ART. I love art. And stories.

TND: Okay so there’s this one scene coming up that’s super rad and I’m really excited about it. It’s been in my head since the beginning and it’s like, the second scene I thought up. I love the imagery and the symbolism and the feelings. It’s great.

2. What’s special about it?

H2H: Sometimes you need to read something that will make you feel warm and fuzzy inside. Fluff makes the world go ‘round, ya know? And lesbians gotta survive. Also, I’m passionate about found families, which is why the story has one at its very center. I love writing stories about people who don’t feel at home somewhere, so they find with other people who feel the same and call a new place theirs. It’s an important thing to learn: there’s always somewhere for you, and always someone out there who can catch your drift.

FF: Stories like this one are ways to see the truth of reality. Okay, that sounded super intense. What I mean is that this is a story about a group of people who have been used coming together to fight back against a system that’s doing its best to tear them down. Including accurate and respectful depictions of mental health in this story is important to me, too. I feel like this genre is a great place to explore that.

Also, I need to work on my humor writing so that’s pretty special, I guess.

AOPC: I loved the idea of a culture based on art. What do they value? How to they keep records of events and their history? How do they share information? What do they hold dear? It’s sort of my own version of the Legato Conservatory, for those who listen to TAZ. I don’t know of any other fantasy cultures 100% centered on art, either. It’s a story about storytelling and all the ways you can use it. And I think that’s pretty special.

TND: The metaphor and the symbolism, with the context of the canon, is so full of feels it makes my heart clench. It’s an unexpected coming together, a reaching out of two hands that meet in the middle while the world spins off-kilter around them. It’s an oh and a gasp in the same breath. It’s a fall that feels like flying.

That’s about as poetic as I can get without spoilers.

3. What is giving your motivation to work on your current projects?

Right now, not much, to be honest. It’s midterms time and I’m a grad student, so life is pretty much study hell right now. But my stories are my creative therapy, so I expect I’ll start writing again pretty soon after all my business chills out.

But on the regular: I really want to tell everyone about the big giant spoilers and how they happen in H2H, and one of the big confrontation scenes in FF (seriously, it’s a huge twist I don’t think a lot of people will see coming - one of them anyway 😉), and I want to figure out what the hell happens next in AOPC, and in TND, I really want to get to the switched POV chapter because it’s full of mutual pining and it offers a lot of really good insight into one character’s head (it’s my motivation to finish this transition chapter too because it’s taking forever).

4. What’s a neat worldbuilding thing you came up with?

H2H: The magic types I developed are pretty cool! Astromancy, Totem Magic, Sigilcrafting, and Pact Magic. There are a few others, but that’d be spoilers, my friend. Making these info posts was also very fun. I got to do nerdy research about magic and science!

And something I haven’t mentioned yet: liminal spaces are very important in this story! The town of Linsay is a liminal space. Gemma’s house is a liminal space. The police station is a liminal space for Oz. The lake is a liminal space. This is important: transformation takes place at liminal places. Magic is strongest there. The old is left behind and the new is just ahead. And the fae inhabit liminal spaces.

FF: I made a WIP page that mimics the Coalition of Heroes’ database! It took forever and it was really hard but I did it! And I think it looks rad.

In-world, hmm… I really like Lithium’s bar. It’s a place that’s like a hero-themed TGI Friday’s or Red Robin, and it’s also the hangout for off-duty heroes. They all chill there like it’s a cop bar for officers who are all undercover. It’s great. None of the civilians who go there know that they’re sitting next to high level super heroes. And Lithium thinks it’s hilarious.

AOPC: There are so many cool worldbuilding things in this story. One is the marriage ceremony I made up. The couple stands before the Namestone and the most senior Elder binds the bride’s left hand to the groom’s right. Then the men of the tribe line up behind the groom, and the women line up behind the bride. They’re ordered so the people closest to them, like family and lifelong friends, are first. One by one, the women dip their right hands in purple paint and mark the bride’s back with their hand print. The men do the same with green paint on the groom’s back.

After everyone’s marked the bride and groom, the Elder blesses the couple, holds their foreheads together, and then they turn around and press their backs together, mixing the paint and blending the colors together. The party starts as soon as their hands are unbound.

TND: Since most of the worldbuilding for this has already been done by the canon, here are a few recurring story threads I’m working with: Crowley vs. ducks, liminal spaces being the most comfortable and calming, “a good shock to loosen the tongue,” and the kinds of miracles that don’t work.

Astfel, s-a finalizat tranziția de la AOPC (vechea formă de reglementare), EVERGENT Investments devenind fond de investiții alternative (FIA), cadrul unitar de reglementare în UE.

“Suntem investitori pe termen lung, de aceea a genera performanță în investiții este un obiectiv esențial în activitatea noastră. Autorizarea ca fond de investiții alternativ deschide un nou capitol în existenta companiei și ne permite să acceleram directia strategică de a investi în proiecte de tip private equity. Filozofia noastră de investiții este concentrată pe creștere și avem acum un univers lărgit al oportunităților prin posibilitatea de a investi în portofolii de active imobiliare, în obligațiuni corporative neadmise la tranzacționare, părţi sociale ale societăţilor cu răspundere limitată ale căror situaţii financiare anuale sunt auditate conform legii și alte instrumente.

Suntem încrezători că o administrare activă susținută a portofoliului EVERGENT va multiplica semnificativ capitalul acționarilor noștri. Portofoliul nostru listat este construit printr-o alocare dinamică, diferită de structura indicilor BVB, prin urmare, avem capacitatea de a genera alfa și a arăta randamente cu două cifre ale activelor noastre, pentru acționari. Autorizarea ca FIA, cu noile limite și instrumente investiționale, poate adăuga valoare activelor noastre prin expunerea pe diverse instrumente financiare derivate cu încadrare în profilul de risc mediu, atât în scop de acoperire a riscurilor, cât și în scop investițional. Noi, comunitatea de investiții, împreună cu BVB vom crea într-o perioadă optimă cadrul necesar funcționării CCP, dar și listării de instrumente financiare derivate specifice unor astfel de operațiuni.

În contextul Green Deal, am putea fructifica oportunități oferite de tranzacționarea de certificate verzi, certificate de emisii de gaze cu efect de seră sau alte instrumente care pot aduce un plus de randament acționarilor noștri.

Prin majorarea limitei valorii numerarului sau echivalente de la 10 la 20% din activele EVERGENT ne putem asigura în permanență lichiditatea necesară fructificării unor oportunități investiționale într-un timp foarte scurt.

Proiectele private equity ne diferențiază față de ceilalti actori ai pieței și aduc un raport excepțional risc/randament, cu profit semnificativ pe termen lung pentru acționarii noștri. Sprijinim companiile în care investim pentru a-și atinge potențialul maxim. Prin urmare, noul cadru FIA ne permite alocarea pana la 40% din active în acest tip de proiecte. Ca perspectivă de investiții în următorii ani, vom continua expunerea în agribusiness și real estate, dar ne putem dezvolta activitatea și in domenii care interferează cu cele două mari teme de actualitate: evoluția tehnologică și transformarea mediului înconjurător. De exemplu, ne îndreptăm atenția în a găsi și dezvolta companii cu tehnologie pentru resurse curate (apa, sol, aer) și energie verde (fotovoltaic).

Ne-am propus ca activitatea companiei noastre să sprijine întreaga comunitate. La scară mai mare, investițiile noastre joacă un rol economic și social, prin alocarea de capital către companiile cu perspective de prosperitate pe termen lung, care se aliniază cu principiile ESG. Îndeplinirea acestei responsabilități necesită un efort comun al întregului mediu antreprenorial și instituțional.

De aceea, vom exploata în mod transparent noile oportunități în acord cu Codul de guvernanță corporativă al EVERGENT Investments, cu informarea continuă a investitorilor și a autorităților de reglementare. Harga yg relatif lebih rendah dari pesaing dipengaruhi oleh material dasar yang dipilih yaitu fibreglass reinforced plastics (FRP) atau yang biasa disebut dengan fiberglass yang kuat, tidak korosi, dan fleksibel. Nah bahan lain yang biasa digunakan yaitu beton dan steel.

Untuk pemasarannya sendiri kak agung menggunakan konsep aliansi yang dia peroleh dr prof askobat jadi banyak bekerja sama. Sepertu dengan suplier, dengan konsultan amdal, sanitarian dll

Untuk produk ipal yang yang ditawarkan itu ada 4 jenis yaitu: biofilter, koagulasi (koagulan PAC), elektrokoagulasi, dan AOPs. Kak agung bercerita bahwa pemilihan teknologi ini sangat tergantung pada bagaimana karakteristik daerah, ia bercerita bahwa ipalnya bisa menggunakan sedikit listrik. Jadi untuk membuat ipal sangat tergantung dari lokasi misal di sebuah puskesmas kapasitas listrik kecil maka ia akan berusaha menyediakan ipal dengan kapasitas tersebut.

Prasyarat yang ditetapkan oleh indonesia berpendoman pada permen lh no 68 tahun tahun 2016 dimana dalam permen tersbut hanya mempersyaratkan bahwa dalam ipal wajib ditaruh flow meter inlet dan outlet, dilakukan uji baku mutu oleh KAN (komite akreditasi nasional) serta hasil baku mutu harus memenuhi peraturan tersebut sehingga tidak ada perayaratan khsus terkait dengan teknologi maupun tahapan, pemerintah melalui peraturan ini membuat kita sebagai pembuat ipal mampu berkreasi

Lalu dari sesi pertanyaan ada beberapa yang aku tangkep nih...

1. Apakah perusahaan sudah e katalog? Perusahaan kak agung sendiri belum e katalog atau terdaftar di LKPP. Dari pertanyaan ini aku jadi tau kalo buat daftar e katalog lumayan agak rumit seperti harus ada beberapa cabang di indo, secara administratif harus lengkap, ada tempat usaha jelas. Perusahaan kak agung sendiri masih memperkerjakan orang dengan sistem kontrak sesuai dengan tender yang di terima. Selain itu kak agung bilang jika sudah ada di e katalaog biasanya harga ipal akan jadi lebih mahal karena ada spesifikasi yang wajib. Sedangkan menurut kak agung sendiri untuk teknologi ipal sebenernya yang lebih penting harus sesuai dengan dimana ia akan di operasikan.selain itu prasyarat pengadaan barang harus memiliki sk 503 pengadaan dan itu hanya bisa dimiliki oleh teknik lingkungan (tp untuk sk ini aku agak skip nih)

2. Pertanyaan dari salah satu sanitarian yang bekerja di rs. Bagaimana jika saya di suruh membuat ipal sendiri karena ketidaktersediaan dana. Ipal sudah saya buat tapi sepertinya tidak berjala baik? kak agung bercerita bahwa untuk membuat ipal memang harus disesuaikan dengan dana ya g tersedia. Maka teknologi yang mudah adalah dengan sistem biofilter. Pada bagian an aerob maupun aerob yang biasanya menggunakan honey comb atau bio ball bisa diganti dengan menggunakan bambu atau yakult yang digunting dalam jumlah banyak. Tujuan dari honey comb atau bioball sendiri sebagai media pertumbuhan bakteri serta untuk meningkatkan luas permukaan waktu kontak bakteri dengan air limbah.

Dari pertanyaan di atas kak agung juga bercerita bahwa ia pernah disuruh untuk membuat ipal di sebuah puskesmas tua, sedangkan kondisi puakemas tersbut jalur pipa pembuangannya tidak jelas (karakteristik dari pembangunan di jaman dulu). Maka tidaj tepat untuk membuat ipal di puskemas ini karena nanti tidak ada yg di olah 🤣🤣. Terus auto hhehe buka hanya di puskemas tua kalo di zaman sekarang juga banyak pemborong yang asal

3. Kenapa ipal saya bau? Mas agung menjelaskan bahwa kita harus bisa menganalisis keadaan tersebut. Misal waktu itu saya menemukan kasus di ciamis jadi puskemas tersebut untuk mencuci apdnya menggunakan banyak klorin, nah kloron ini jika masuk ke pengolahan utama akan mematikan bakteri, kondisi matinya bakteri ini yang menyebabkan sumber bau. Kalo bau ditemui di kolom aerob biasanya bakteri mati dikarenakan blower mati.

Oh iya ada hal yg meenurutku lucu jadi kakaknya kerja di pemerintahan tapi biasanya kalo ada tender dia tidak mengurusi bagian administrasi karena katanya buat administrasi bisa membuatnya tidak bisa tidur, jadi beliau sukanya dalam hal teknis.

Huhu sejujurnya pas nulis ini timbulah banyak pertanyaan dalam diriku sayang tadi waktu zoom hanya sedikit semisal berapa modal yang diperluka untuk membangun usaha ini, model AOPcs blm terlalu di jelasin padahal ini tipe ipal di rs kuuu. Semoga tulisan ini bermanfaat yah
