about: this is an indie mutuals only rp blog for a multimuse with various fandoms from tv shows, movies, anime, and video games. mun is 25+, genderfluid lesbian, goes by he/him pronouns (but i am genderfluid so i don’t mind she/her pronouns, most just call me he/him) online and name Jay. Previously known as Ares and Snow.

Callout culture: Do not involve me in this. Period. I want no part of it and will block as soon as I see it, tagged or not. I believe it does more harm than good and something like tha is extremely harmful..

follow/unfollowing: i usually follow back pretty quick. if i don't follow within a week, i'm probably not going to follow back. 9/10 i do follow back. i will not follow if i see vaguing, callouts, or any sort of drama on blogs. i also will not follow any under the age of 18.

if i’ve been following you for a month and you don’t interact with me within that time limit, I’m unfollowing. I won’t soft block because I’m totally okay with people still following me but I don’t see the point in following if we’re not gonna write.

If I do not follow you back, do not message me asking to write or become mutuals - you will be blocked.

If I block you, do not come to me asking why. It will only get you blocked all over again. Do not ask why i’ve unfollowed you, either.

Shipping: all muses are LGBT+ in some shape or form so if you want to ship, just let me know. They’re pretty open to anyone, though gay and lesbian muses will stay gay and lesbian. I ship toxic pairings and incest so if that’s your cup of tea, just lemme know, and we can work something out if not? That’s alright too!!

As previously stated, all ships and smut scenes are involved with characters 18+. I will never under any circumstance write something with underage characters. Characters, however, can be aged up but are never simply just for the sake of smut. Smut may happen with aged up characters but that does not mean it was done specifically for smut. Do not assume.

wait time: sometimes i can take months, sometimes seconds, sometimes days. I’m not a fast rper, please respect this.

writing: i generally prefer writing multi-para or novella. one-liners or one-paragraphs usually end up getting dropped or made into much longer threads as i have absolutely no chill.

edit: from now on any drafts that are below three paras will be deleted, i don’t have muse for short things.

Hello everyone! And welcome to my Kabuto Yakushi roleplaying/ask blog! I had this blog for at least 8+ years and it’s still going strong and all talk and appreciation of Kabuto is always welcome!

Lets begin with the introductions!

About the Mun:

You may call me Vani though I do have a few longtime rp partners and friends here that know my real name. But I prefer Vani.

I’m 32 years old with she/her pronouns and my birthday is on July 7th.

My face claims will be Kabuto in the SD series so if you see it, it will more than likely be my OOC post. I tag it as “missing glasses”. And all icons on this blog were cropped and edited by myself including the SD.

I’ll let you all be aware that I have Aspergers/Autism as well as anxiety, so while I try to befriend and talk with you as best as I could, most of the times I might not always understand some phrases or sarcasm. I am working on my best to socialize with you all, and sometimes I take breaks every once in awhile. Anyways, still come chat with me if you like to know more about me!

My discord is available to rpers and friends who we have a mutual trust in each other and like to stay in contact with. I would love to rp there if Tumblr is too much for you to handle but plotting there is just as fun as well.

Rules:

Do not godmod or metagame. I guess this is pretty obvious.

I would very much appreciate it if you specify which Kabuto verse you would like to send asks or interact with, because I want to explore the other verses as well. If you don’t specify your ask, it will always be replied to canon Kabuto in the spy verse. Or any verse I feel like replying in.

Hating against Kabuto and Orochimaru is fine if you dislike the characters but if you character bash them or any other character too much, I might limit my contact with you unless you tag it so that I can blacklist it. This blog does not tolerate character bashing. There is a major difference between disliking a character and full on hating them with constant rants and hateful posts which can be quite annoying. This also goes for ship hate. Get that shit outta here. This blog appreciates all ships.

I won’t judge your writing as I’m not into fancy edited writing or am that good at writing, but please try to write at least 2 sentences or more to give me something to work with. I will apologize if I write a full paragraph but you don’t have to match my writing. I also don’t mind if you don’t use icons, flashy themes. It would be nice to make your writing easy to read too.

I tend to take my time with rps so I wouldn’t mind if you took your time as well. Reminders are nice every now and then.

Honestly, I would prefer to only interact with Naruto and Boruto characters and OCs. I feel more comfortable that way since to me, its quite hard for me to rp with characters from other fandoms unless your other fandom character has a naruto verse.

I rp NSFW and when I say that I mean gore, dark themes or bloody rps since Kabuto is a medical shinobi who deals with such things. I will also post some medical tools on this blog so if you’re triggered by blood, needles, and scalpels then I’ll try to tag them as trigger warnings and put them under readmore for your sake.

Roleplay blog or not, please do not reblog my answer posts, headcanons or RP threads with another rper if you’re not involved. It’s not only messes up my activity but it’s also very invading and quite rude. I will give you a warning in private message if you do and if you refuse or ignore my request within a day, it will result in me blocking you.

Shipping rules

I do not practice exclusivity since I had a horrible experience with this topic and I rather I give myself and my rp partners the freedom that they deserve, but if our characters end up being romantically shipped and their chemistry is extremely good, I’ll put you on my main list where I will tag you in a lot of ship memes and posts. Ask me first about this, and I might even ask you as well. And you’re free to refuse or agree. This may change in the future if both parties agree, but until then, we’re both free to do what we want.

As mentioned above, I am old enough to rp NSFW. And like everyone else with common sense, I WILL NOT RP NSFW WITH MINORS!

There will be some heavy sexual themes and posts so if you’re underage, please don’t follow me. Seriously, I WILL BLOCK YOU!

I wouldn’t mind if your character teases Kabuto and even flirts with him, but I would prefer chemistry, if you want it to be a ship. My muse is picky with who he wants to be with unfortunately. Even if I do find that character and ship that I am looking for.

By the way, if you decide to become my ship partner and you suddenly stop talking or interacting with me for no reason, just let me know beforehand that you want to drop the ship or at least let me know if you're on hiatus. Because I do not like to be ghosted and the title will be removed if you don’t talk to me for an entire month.

I’m a major kakashi/kabuto shipper so if that turns you off, it’s fine for you to disagree or leave if you don’t like it. But I rather not want to get anon hate or go in a debate since this rare ship helped me go through a bad time in my life. But if you’re a kakashi mun, I won’t ask for a ship unless you want to. Just putting this here so that no one can assume that I’m only after this ship.

If you’re curious about my verses, they’ll be right HERE (and just in case if that doesn’t work...) Child verse: age 6-9 Root verse: age 9-14 Spy verse: age 15-24 (canon or canon diverse) Dragon verse: age 24 (4th war) Blank verse: age 24-26 the verse where after the war is done, he’s left to pick up his own pieces of his mind and tries to redeem himself through various acts of kindness and assistance through community service under strict supervision. Father verse: Headmaster of the Konoha orphanage and in Boruto era. (canon verse)

Restless Minds: A mix of both Blank and Post Boruto verse where he’s often tempted into going back to doing questionable acts as despite the Izanami. He still has trouble breaking old habits though he’s no longer wishing to commit illegal acts. Despite that the law forbids it, he secretly meets with Orochimaru to satisfy his own curiosity with their experiments despite also wanting the peaceful life at his home. He’s often at the hospital, resuming his role as medic. But under strict supervison. Stripper/Mafia Verse: A verse where Kabuto who didn’t have enough funds for his college classes after a series of misfortunes had taken several jobs before deciding to take this one as it had better pay. With no other choice, he works as a stripper for a mafia owned strip club that he had no idea that it was owned by a rival gang till he saved the other mob boss’s life after a gang war fight broke out in the club. It was only after saving the mafia boss from death is when he starts getting paid better to help with his college medical classes funds as well as to avoid becoming homeless as well. Though of course he still has to strip to pay the bills and afford the classes, but he also has to heal and treat Shisui’s men and fellow strippers whenever he’s ordered to. He’s also in dept with the mafia so chances of him having a normal life is slim. Despite the job, he still has struggles with his self-confidence and is a tad bit shyer than most of the strippers who work there. Not to mention that he’s the most reluctant to sleep with a customer, no matter how much money they gave him. (This Verse that is mainly rped in Discord and a bit in tumblr as well. Ask first and I’ll ask my friends if they would let you in. )

Rp wishlist:

Dejected Child Root verse: Of where the young or the pre-teen Kabuto is off on different countries and villages, spying and gathering information on them during the Third Ninja War era. Also child Kabuto’s own spy training from Root and his experiences from there.

Lost and Found Child verse: Pretty much an AU on what if Kabuto wasn’t found by Nono but by somebody else by chance. Despite his new caretakers/family and his different life but still a medical shinobi, in the end whether a kid or a teen, Orochimaru or some other villainous character will either lure, manipulate or take him away from them. Its up to the muses of whether they go after him or not. His name is still Kabuto as he won’t have his last name Yakushi.

Lost in the Darkness verse: Kabuto isn’t betrayed by Danzo and is one of the many ROOT members and spies working for him. And the best one yet.

I know I don't have to but brain's being mean and I feel like I have to apologize for not posting anything about The Current Political Situation In America. it's not that I don't care. and I am aware that the level of stress that I feel when I hear or read about it is nowhere near the level of stress for black Americans and other ppl who are directly impacted. I just... can't. I can't raise awareness, I can't signal boost, it's an OCD trigger. if I reblog one post I must then reblog All of them to Prove I care. it's just not good for me. I have avoided all news for the past 2 weeks bc of the dreaded scrupulosity and impulse to virtue signal until I'm blue in the face and I just can't go back to it rn. the fact that I'm even posting this means I'm giving into my mental illness and it sucks. it's not helping me or anyone else. give OCD an inch and it'll run a mile, etc.

I just, I know I'm allowed to blog about whatever the heck I want and I shouldn't feel bad for needing to disconnect. I've just been seeing a lot of "if you cared AT ALL even a LITTLE BIT as a PERSON LIVING HERE you would post this and donate here and talk about your privilege" and I honestly. can't handle it. and I feel shitty for not being able to handle it.

a few things:

a lot is a wip atm. i will make the oc page later. you all know my ocs anyway and my pinterest is out there too so it’s not that necessary

however my about page is done and you can read it. if i sound aggressive it’s not aimed at you lmao i just want to deter new potential followers rn. but plz look at the blacklist at leaast that would be much appreciated.

i will update/change the about later maybe. as well as my tag page when i post more. i just rbed some stuff to have in the tags but i might be rbing from my old blog more. or i will queue it up. idk!

also i wont be tagging my stuff (like art n oc edits) with stuff like “ok to rb” anymore since like.... i find it unnecessary. obviously personal posts are weird to rb but art or oc content or whatever - go for it! in case it wasnt clear before or smthin. mutuals are always welcome to interact with my stuff.

1. Please understand that I am not the real celebrity. I have no relation to her at all. I am just a roleplay blog.

2. No God-Modding - Please don’t control my character that’s what I’m here for. If you would like something specific to be done then please discuss it with me first. You will get a limit of three chances if mistakes of god-mods are made. Once you hit three chances, the thread will be dropped. It’s a simple rule to follow, don’t play my character for me.

3. Mutuals Only - I will only roleplay with people who follow me and I follow back. With that being said, I am a semi-selective blog. Sometimes if you follow, I may not see it right away because Tumblr has its glitchy days. You are free to send asks and what not to interact with Rosé as she loves her fans. You never know when I may follow you because of said asks. Anyway, if we are not mutuals we will not be roleplaying together. I’m picky I’m sorry.

4. Multi-Ship - I LOVE TO SHIP! I guess you can call it a weakness of mine. If we’re interacting together and our muses like each other, it’s guaranteed that I want to ship with you. I am a lean, mean, shipping machine.

5. NSFW/Triggers - Everything will be tagged accordingly. I will try to do smut threads under Read More, but I know some people roleplay on mobile devices where that is not a thing. I can try to edit the posts but like I said Tumblr can be glitchy. If you don’t like mature content and dark themes then I strongly suggest you blacklist NSFW. I will tag all the triggers as they come up. Simply blacklist those trigger words too. I won’t stop roleplaying something simply because you don’t like it. Feel free to unfollow me as well. I promise it won’t hurt me a bit.

6. OOC Posts - I know this is strictly a roleplay blog but it is still my blog. I have the right to post whatever I like on to it. The out of character posts will be minimum but understand that life happens. Sometimes I need to vent and like I said, this is my blog. In the end I will post and write anything I want be it roleplay related or not. Out of Character posts will be tagged as ooc and if you don’t like that then simply block the tag on your end.

7. Weird Hours - I have a part time job that likes to disguise itself as a full time job. I don’t always know when I’ll be online or not. Sometimes I post during the day before work and on my breaks. I’m mainly active at night and the early hours of the morning. I try to maintain socializing on my days off or sleep when I can. I do always try to be online when I have the time.

8. Personal Information - Simply ask for it. That’s it really. If I’m comfortable with our friendship I’ll probably offer it up to you and you won’t even need to ask.

If you made it to the very end, I hope you won’t be scared off by my rules or think I’m mean and strict. All rpers have the same types of rules if you ask me. Thank you for reading and respecting them. I truly appreciate it!

Mobile Friendly Rules (Read Before Interacting)

THESE ARE JUST A FEW GENERAL THINGS I FEEL ARE IMPORTANT TO BE ADDRESSED BEFORE I GO ANY FURTHER, SO PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THEM.

I know they seem long but some of it is also just information I thought was important for you to know before interacting with me. And a lot of it is generic stuff too but please still read anyway.

- ★ First and most important thing is that the mun has a very serious cannibalism trigger, which includes ANY form of people being eaten (including animals or monsters or any such other creatures eating people). (Excluding vampires, as that doesn’t typically involve the eating of human flesh, and rather simply blood itself. Zombies however, are included). As such, please tag all SNK or Hannibal related posts, especially with such things in them, but even the ones without such scenes in them, due to the fact that these two shows/fandoms are the reason I learned I have this trigger, and so the entire thing now can cause my trigger due to association, and memory connection to it. Also I ask that you tag any other shows/fandoms/gifs with such things in them as well. Please and thank you very much. My blacklisted tags are: SNK, Shingeki No Kyojin, Attack On Titan, AoT, tokyo ghoul, tg, Hannibal, Cannibalism, tw: cannibalism, twd, the walking dead, walking dead, zombies, and hunting trophies. Any form of these (capitalization does not matter, however spaces do) will be caught by my blacklist, so I would appreciate it if you’d use one of these for those posts. Also suggestions for other possible blacklist tags that I may have forgotten are much appreciated. Also as an added note, I will not follow, RP with, or associate in ANY WAY, any blogs that have to do with my triggers. (Multi-muse blogs can sometimes be okay, this more applies to blogs that post SPECIFICALLY about the fandoms that trigger me). If you are a multi-muse blog that has characters from these fandoms, all I ask is that you be sure to tag them with the fandom they are from, with one of the tags in my list, and tag any of the triggers. We’ll be perfectly fine if you do!

- Secondly, I am not here just to to roleplay smut. I WILL do so if I feel like it and if the roleplay goes that direction after building up the relationship, however I am not here for that. I do prefer however if our smut RPs are placed under a read more, if at all possible. I will not RP smut with underage muns however. Underage muses, depending on the age (and if our muses are close to the same age, eg: Both our muses are 16, cuz teenagers do things, as much as we might dislike the fact they do, and no matter how much we wish they wouldn’t) I may still write it. It’s very dependent on the particular muses. I will not RP smut with a muse that is 18 or over, and a muse that is underage. I will not RP smut with muses that are legitimate children (14 and under). However despite my willingness to write it, it doesn’t mean that it will happen if the other mun is not comfortable with. I don’t force it. I don’t need it. I just basically accept that that kind of stuff happens, and it’s a very realistic thing. My nsfw tag is #n;sfw so you are aware, because the original nsfw tag doesn’t work as well anymore.

- ★ I am autistic. I know I don’t seem like it at first, and sometimes it’s hard to tell, however I am, and I also have ADHD, and it does affect the way my mind works with things. Sometimes having things done certain ways makes all the difference between if I can do something or if I can’t. If it sounds like I want to do something, but seem to struggle with figuring out how, please feel free to make suggestions, or start the thing yourself! It’s actually REALLY helpful when I get stuck. My being autistic can also affect who I can roleplay with, and how I roleplay, and how I think. Please keep this in mind, and try to be understanding. If something bothers you, or you don’t understand something, just ask me! I’ll do my best to explain, or fix it.

- Though it may not always seem like it, I am VERY shy and awkward. I’m actually legitimately terrified of new people, and trying to talk to people I haven’t spoken to before, or very much yet, almost makes me feel like I’m going to have a panic attack. If you want to RP with me, please message me! Chances are I’d LOVE to chat with you and RP with you, I’m just too terrified to talk to you.

- I struggle with chronic depression, and sometimes I may disappear for a while if I have a spell that gets particularly bad. Please be patient with me, as I will never forget about you and will always return. Also since it needs to be said, I also have EXTREME, doctor diagnosed anxiety. Sometimes it gets the better of me. Same with depression. Sometimes I have bad days. So I vent, and get frustrated with things. Little things bother me a lot more than they would on a normal day. If you can’t handle that or are going to be a hypocrite about it then please just leave right now. I don’t need your negativity. I have enough unwanted of that in my head as it is, which I combat and fight against every day.

- I am a multiship/multiverse blog, however my muses will likely be very selective with shipping for the time being however I am still happy to discuss ships and will happily consider them. Also a note, that I will ship with multiples of the same character, if the mun of those blogs wishes to ship with me. I find each relationship is different, seeing as each mun plays their character a little differently.

- I will do crossovers sometimes with fandoms I am familiar with. Crossovers always depend on my mood and how well my muse can interact with a character, as well as how well I know the series the character is from. Please forgive me if I choose not to roleplay a specific crossover. I still like you, I promise. If you’re unsure if I know your fandom, just ask! I do know of a lot of fandoms, so there’s a good chance I might.

- I ship based on chemistry. Sometimes I can develop a ship quickly, especially if I know the other muse’s personality well, and know they will mesh well with mine. Other times, a ship takes time for me to develop. Please be understanding and patient with me on this.

- Do NOT under any circumstances, force a ship on me. I am usually quite good at expressing ships I am okay with, and it will usually show in my writing. If you are unsure if I ship something or not, feel free to send me a message and ask me. Most of my characters have their own way of showing interest in someone, however most are usually pretty clear in expressing it in some way. Sending memes for interaction is fine for anyone whether we have interacted or not, and I will usually reply to those, however do not force a ship on me outside of that. If one develops between our characters, then fine. However that is a MUTUAL thing, so I do not take kindly to someone just deciding something is a thing. If you want to try to build one between our characters, then go ahead. Just please show me respect. That is the biggest and most important thing with me, is respect.

- I will write anything from 1 liners to multi-paragraphs when I RP. I usually stick to 1 or two shortish paragraphs, and that tends to fluctuate or shrink depending on how much information is needed to describe a scene. If we start out with a shorter paragraph, and I make a reply a fair bit longer, I will likely revert back to the shorter paragraph again within 1 or 2 replies. However you are welcome to write however you wish, just as long as you can give me something to go on. (A one liner in response to a 10 line paragraph for example, I will struggle to reply to.)

- I do not tolerate anon hate of any kind. Not towards myself, nor towards others. I will respond to it in a way that will make the sender feel rather like an idiot, and I am very smart and capable of doing so, so please be advised of that, if you intend to do so.

- I will RP more violent NSFW RPs, however ONLY as long as I am in the mood for them. Anything triggering will be tagged. The mun of this blog is (well) over 18.

- Apologies, but I absolutely WILL NOT RP with people who RP in first person. It is something I cannot stand and I just will not do it.

- ★ I am better at roleplaying ships with males (BoyxBoy/Yaoi/etc), due to being more familiar with it and having more experience with it ((as I myself am very very very gay, and also trans (which is where the issues with writing about female parts makes me very uncomfortable comes from) )). I may however attempt to ship romantically with female characters, since romantic ships I can do, but please keep in mind it is something I am not as good at or as comfortable with, so if in the end, I decide I am unable to do so, please be understanding of this. (Especially if smut is included in the ship. I cannot smut with female characters, sorry. I am well aware it’s dumb that my brain rebels to it but it doesn’t change the fact that it does.)

- I am slightly fickle about things I can reply to. I try very hard to reply to everything, however one thing I am not good at, is sudden changes in roleplays. As much as I hate to admit it, and try to pretend it isn’t true, and even though I am quite good at managing it most times, I am autistic, (high functioning form of autism) and that is one of the few issues I struggle with the most. If you sense a roleplay is changing directions, please hint at it to me in the tags or something the reply before it does, since even that small little hint can be enough to help keep me from having to drop an RP. Even if you are unsure if it will or not, letting me know that you think it MIGHT possibly happen (since we don’t control our characters) is a huge help to me. This particular issue is the main reason that 95% of my dropped threads end up dropped. And I always feel terrible when it happens, so please help me to get better at this.

- I can be slow sometimes (or often) with asks or replies. This usually happens because of my muse being fickle or me thinking a meme or ask prompt would be fun, however sometimes when I actually get them, my muse decides to just be like NOPE, or my depression kicks up and I lose all motivation. Also sometimes I tend to forget things, or leave stuff in my askbox to reply to later, and then I forget about it or get distracted. If this happens, I apologize. Please try to be understanding of this, since I will NEVER ignore you or your asks on purpose. (The only case where it would be ignored is if it is something stated in my rules that I cannot respond to, that you obviously failed to read or are attempting to do anyway.) I do reblog things with the INTENT to answer EVERYTHING that shows up in my inbox, however my intentions don’t always pan out.

Next topic of discussion.

Concerning OCs and shipping with them:

- I WILL NOT ship my muses with other OCs, unless they are extremely well developed. This is simply because unless I personally can form some form of an an emotional connection/understanding to/of a character, my own muse will be unable to do so as well.

- I am also very picky with RPing with other OCs, because of the same reason stated above. I will however roleplay with them sometimes, and do not in any way dislike them. I rather love OCs, and the diversity and color they bring to fandoms, and I actually have lots of OCs of my own for different fandoms, I just cannot always connect to them, and in those cases, I will not be able to roleplay with them. I apologize. HOWEVER. If possible, I will happily do platonic RPs with OCs that my muses happen to click with.The types of characters/OCs I am usually unable to roleplay with, are the following, which includes a list of reasons why.

- ★ OCs that are not connected to any fandom in particular/Multifandom OCs. Basically as I like to call them, floaters or drifters. I may attempt to roleplay with these. It can still be iffy, because my brain can sometimes make stuff more difficult than it actually is or needs to be, and it depends on each particular OC, but as I have recently been developing a few fandomless OCs myself, I find my understanding of them has grown a bit. That said, sometimes I need to be able to connect them with something, as each fandom has a specific world to them. I need a consistent, solid world anchor to be able to understand the character, which drifters don’t have, so I can struggle to RP with them. I’m willing to try though! I believe this issue is connected to my being autistic, since certain things my brain just refuses to understand unless it is worded a certain way or done a certain way.

- OCs from fandoms I am unfamiliar with. If I don’t know what sort of world/background your character comes from, it leaves me guessing too much and confused. I have attempted to roleplay with them anyway in the past and it just doesn’t work.

- ★ Self insert OCs. Really. Please just no. I cannot stand self inserts above all else other than Shipper OCs. Admittedly, there are a rare few good ones out there. (And those are fine). However those tend to be very few and far between, and 98% of them tend to fall into the not so good category to put it nicely, and I just.. I can’t do it. There is nothing else to say to this except just NO. I apologize for this, however I just can’t. Also, this applies to FULLY self inserts. This does not apply to characters that simply share some traits with you, as often we roleplay a character because we can connect to them somehow.

- Canon Genderbends (there are exceptions sometimes with these). This subject is a touchy one, since my mind is very rigid unfortunately when it comes to how I view them. This might stem from my own personal gender struggle (as I am trans and FtM), however genderbends have always been something I have a lot of issues with, and so 98% of the time, I will not RP with them because I have to fight my mind to reply. Temporary genderswap M!A’s however, when handled properly, are no issue for me, and in such cases I will happily roleplay with them.

- OCs with very little backstory and information, or with a confusing one, or even with none at all. In essence, poorly made OCs. I need info to RP with you. At least seriously. So sorry. I need to be able to understand your character at least a little, since I don’t do good with “lets play a guessing game” or “I literally have no idea what I’m doing” or “what the hell is going on” sort of RPs, and I have never been good at them, and so I need clear, concise information on your character.

- Shipper OCs. The type of character I hate more than any other. If you made your OC just so you could ship with a bunch of people and that is the only purpose for their existence, do not even talk to me, or approach my character. Don’t even try. I literally cannot stand these types, and they fall right up there with my hatred of self inserts. So sorry. But just no. This doesn’t mean I ship shame if your muse happens to end up in lots of ships. That’s fine. It happens. I know the feeling when muses just click with lots of other muses. Sometimes it’s like that. But if their ONLY purpose for existing, is just so you can ship with endless characters, please go away right now.

- Canonically unknown family member OCs. Whether it’s a sibling for my character or for someone else’s that was never mentioned in canon, I just can’t. (If you want to RP a family member of my character that I have mentioned in my character’s info, please ask me beforehand as I usually have an idea already of what their family member is like, but usually I will be okay with that as long as you ask me first before just going ahead and doing it.) I’ve never been able to RP with them, for a multitude of reasons, one of the main being they often end up reminding me of self inserts or genderbends. I have been unsuccessful at breaking this way of thinking towards them despite attempting to many times, and so I just cannot do it, personally. I am sorry.

Those are all the ones I can think of right now. I am very sorry to anyone who has one of these and wants to RP with me, however I simply cannot do it, personally. I’m sure there are plenty of other people out there though who would love to RP with you even though I cannot, and just because I will not RP with you doesn’t mean I dislike you or your character. I’d be happy to still be friends with you, I just won’t be able to RP with you. I’m someone who needs to be able to connect to the character I am roleplaying with on at least SOME level, for my character to be able to connect to them as well, so if I am unable to do that then I am unable to roleplay with them. (This can include as well, the WAY someone roleplays, since if there is no emotion or thought or description in replies, it gives me nothing to go on and connect to, and leaves me unable to respond, even if I WANT to RP with you.)

★ I hate to have to do this, however I have had A LOT of trouble with people not reading and following my rules in the past, and or speaking about or talking about/not tagging my major trigger, so if you have read my rules, please inbox or IM me with “Catshark”. I ask this of people because it also helps a lot with my anxiety, and keeps me from wondering and worrying in the back of my mind if I might actually get triggered by something. I know it can be tedious to do this extra step, and I hate that I even had to add this step in the first place, however after years of roleplaying, and dealing with people, it became necessary due to several bad past experiences in tumblr fandoms. It was not added on a whim, so please take the time to do so.

Anyway,

In all honesty, though, I've had so much fun with this blog and it's all cus of y'all?

I've met and made friends with some amazing (however slightly messed up sksjsks) and utterly lovable people, gotten over my self doubt to an extent that I posted fics without immediately deleting them, received so many nice anons, found a community of absolutely brilliant folks who share my skewed sense of humour,,,

it’s weird i’m still here but lately i just... haven’t felt like posting. or even like reblogging stuff. like there’s always a barrier right between ‘heh that’s good’ and ‘this should be in my followers’ timelines!’ but that threshold seems to have gotten so high that I barely blog anything except donation posts anymore

below: personal, mutuals only please, like if you read? about relationship with a particular former friend

i guess now i see the connection... there’s a certain former friend who cut off contact with me at the end of the year and i’m still very chewed up over that. there’s mutual friends who i don’t want to lose touch with but i guess i’m effectively doing that anyway because i don’t want to impinge on her awareness in any way and every time i see her name it makes me freeze up. even though she has every right to drift apart and decide she can’t deal with me anymore... we were barely talking by the end anyway... sometimes things don’t work out

but yeah a few years ago we were partners like... i still really really care about her and what she thinks and i’m scared of doing any further harm or crossing any actual or hypothetical boundary on the one hand, and then some other component of my brain is unfairly resentful and feels disposed of, and just... still don’t know how to process the whole thing which means every time i see her name it’s just like... it throws me at least and if i’m at a low ebb it puts me in a really bad place.

and none of this i like... blame her for. i understand, to the extent i can understand i guess, why she has similarly messed up and complicated feelings about me and why that would mean that she made the right call in putting this friendship, which was being sustained out of my stubbornness and little else, out of its misery... rationally this was better than letting it slowly decay, and especially given her partner ____ has even more messed up feelings about me. and maybe she judged me unfairly in some ways (but understandably given the information she had) but ultimately, there was no way to fix this and i was fucking stupid to try for so long.

but then we have to keep living (i guess) and while for the most part i have a life that in no way involves her, for some reason on here on tumblr it’s like... more difficult to try not to think about her.

i’ve unfollowed people who were much closer to her than me and i don’t talk to but when it comes to like... true mutual friends, i can’t fairly ask them not to interact with her, that would be cruel and absurd, and i can’t ask them to tag me out bc it would have the same effect as seeing her name... and i would compulsively open blacklist tags so that wouldn’t help... and idk what to do. i guess in practice what i’m doing is drifting away from those friends too and slowly cutting myself off but that feels shit, that’s not right

and sometimes it’s hard not to go into a spiral of thinking i’m a broken, poisonous person and i should like, withdraw in some much more substantial way from social contact, which i know is very irrational and probably has some really nasty motivations behind it, bc there are clearly people who do appreciate me and just bc i failed in a relationship once doesn’t mean i can’t change, it’s kind of inevitable that that would happen, you dumb shit bryn

but anyway also this like... media that i remember sharing with her, like evangelion or homestuck or (if i ever go back to watch it) haibane renmei... also has this effect though not quite as strong.

i guess the only answer is like... get over yourself, fix your brain, she owes you nothing and never did, if you lose other friends so be it.

i will probably make this post private in an hour or two but rn i guess i need to vent into the semi-anonymous void.

This is gonna be a little long and mayhaps a little aggressive; bear with me! I promise I’m sweet as sugar, I just wanna make sure everything’s clear!

Firstly: if you call yourself an anti - sjw or believe in cisphobia, heterophobia, reverse racism and et cetera, this ain’t the place for you. If you portray abuse, incest, pedophilia as anything other than inarguable evils, then you aren’t welcome here. I tend to write at para or novella length. Expect lots of just-for-fun one-liners, though, too. My formatting is random and may change quite frequently; don’t worry about matching it! In a similar vein, if you’re openly ‘anti - drama’ and don’t specify if you’re anti - drama or anti - people - being - called - out - for - being - bigots, I’m gonna be hesitant to follow, because in my experience, people tend to label themselves as ‘anti - drama’ as an excuse to avoid taking charges of racism / homophobia / transphobia / and etc. seriously.

I’m a longtime Sonic fan, but I haven’t played every game or read most of the comics outside of IDW. Please, if I get something wrong regarding past games / iterations / etc., lemme know. I know pretty much nothing about the Archie comics, so don’t expect me to treat that as canon.

So, question for followers and mutuals:

As I’ve talked about before, the best route forward for me in getting my issues dealt with and into a more sustainable, capable position longterm is by getting as much stuff self-published as I can this year, and hopefully signed for a traditional pub project by at least an agent.

Given my situation, means, skillset and consistent resources, that’s really the only thing I can do that has a chance of actually turning things around instead of just treading water.

SO. That said, that’s what I’ve been working towards these past few months whenever I got a spare moment after paying for my basic needs, and finally at a point where I’m almost ready to do stuff with all that. So here’s my question:

I honestly don’t know what the hell most of you are here for, lmao. There’s no more graceful way to say that, and its not that I’m not GLAD you’re here, its just....I have zero baseline for what kind of content you’re actually here for vs what you just...put up with in between that content, lol. I know I’m all over the place, but weirdly though my follower count has been pretty damn consistent for a long time now, which means I’m not really losing followers ever? Which. Huh. I mean. Unless you’re all porn bots, which tbh, would explain Moukie...

But basically, I’m just trying to figure out what the best way to go about this is. I’ve got a site almost completed for my pen name that I’ll be publishing under, and I’ll be posting links to it and I’ll have a newsletter signup so people can get email notifications when I have something new up for sale and what it is (but never anything else, booo spam).

But would people rather I create a sideblog to post all original content related stuff on, as well as my usual inane thoughts, musings, chatter about my original content? Or would you prefer just a consistent tag you can blacklist if it gets to be too much talk about that content for your tastes, like kalentalkspublishing or something like that? You can just reply to this post or reblog or pop into my inbox on anon and let me know your thoughts real quick if you like, whatever works.

Either way, I’m still likely to be posting my usual randomness too, though probably not quite as much given how much more focus I have to give to that other stuff at this point. But I’m sure I’ll eventually have stuff to say about the new YJ or the new Roswell or like....I mean I’ll have to rant about Avengers 4 when it hits because like....lbr, that’s half my reason for existing but I digress.

But yeah, my usual content won’t be going away because it does serve a purpose for me at least. This might come as a TOTAL shock to some of you, but I’m actually a total extrovert? LOL. I know, weird right. But yeah, I like definitely recharge from being around and interacting with other people and don’t really LIKE being alone ever, though I can usually handle it fine.....but six + months of being a hermit cuz of my health and financial issues definitely takes a toll and this is pretty much my only form of social interaction period, hence why I’m on here so much. Like, without this connectivity such as it is, I would be.....much more not good than I am, lmao.

(LOL its why I actually hate those ‘some of you really need to go outside’ posts, b/c while no doubt it applies to some people who could benefit from more human interaction and are capable of it and just choose not to for whatever reason like.....good god its annoying when you’re like I KNOW I need to go outside more I diagnosed myself with that issue MONTHS ago thanks doc, your insight, just...staggering).

ANYWAY. So yeah. All of this *gestures vaguely in the direction of All My Random* will still be a thing, but slightly downshifted in priority from work on and talk of original content. But I definitely don’t want it to be all Buy My Stuff all day every day all the time, eww, no, boo capitalism, I’m doing this UNDER PROTEST UGH, I would hate that, so working hard to find a balance or at least an approach that makes it easier for you to selectively pick what you’re here for.

DRAMA:

I like to get healthy relationships with others and I know that not everyone I meet is gonna be a ray of sunshine, but this is something to keep in mind. Drama isn’t good for my health and it’s not good for anyone’s health. It’s something I don’t tolerate and it can spike up my anxiety very badly.

I know people out there are anti-drama and that’s okay if you want to focus on your mental health; that’s perfectly fine. But if you’re someone who sees drama as one big hullabaloo then, I’m sorry, but there are people out there who cause harm to others and sometimes, they need to be called out.

> However, there are people who are harmful to others in a way that needs to be called out upon. And by that, I mean, please don’t follow nor interact with me if you associate with or follow user Grusel-high. She has been proven to show ableist, homophobic, and transphobic behaviors in such a disgusting way that feels unreal. -- I’ve always admired writers, and those writers who seem to have so many people waiting for their new chapters. Famous writers who seem to have so many people waiting for their new books. Yet, it fuels me to wanna do better. To maybe get to that point because, they’re just, so great. Like, I don’t really have a good reason?? It’s just one of those types of things.

b: Describe your ideal home/living space. Is it similar to where you live now?

-- This is going to sound really gay, and really cheesy but, anywhere that I’ll be able to wake up next to the one I love, it’s my ideal living space.

c: Name 3 things you’ve done that you’re proud of.

-- I have friends, and I’m talking more than just three or four. I have a whole group of friends that love me and care for me.

-- I have a job, a pretty good job if I do say so myself. I get to work at a place that I love, work with people who are amazing, and it just makes me so happy.

-- No, not exactly, but, I’m happy with who I am right now.

-- A piece of shit. No, okay I’m kidding. They’re pretty cool honestly, we’ve got a lot in common. They’re probably one of the closest people to me if I’m being real honest.

-- This one’s going to be tough, because to me, all I have are weaknesses... Here’s what I think my strengths and weaknesses are though.

Strengths

-- I’m friendly.

-- I’m pretty good at reading body language

-- I’m good with kids, and honestly, it’s a strength, because not everyone is.

-- I’m loyal, you’ll always catch me there for my friends and sticking up for them.

-- Lifting two boxes of metal keychains at 25 lbs per box. (That’s approximately 11 kgs for those of you not in the USA)

Weaknesses

-- I don’t have a coherent thought. Ever.

-- I’m very temperamental sometimes honestly, I don’t know why, I just am.

-- I go into small episodes of not talking to people, and then never telling them what happened.

-- I hide a lot of things. I don’t like talking about my problems, because they never seem as big as anyone else.

-- I cry over Disney movies.

g: Would you consider yourself a good person? What’s the difference between a “good” person and a “bad” one?

-- I would consider myself a good person, yeah. I mean, I think the real difference would be the way you view the world? It all depends on what you want to see the world become.

h: How would you define love? Do you believe love is real?

-- Absolutely I believe love is real. It’s one of those feelings that’s hard to describe. But it makes you all fuzzy inside, and it makes you smile more. It’s almost like that feeling of when you were a kid and you had your first crush, and you didn’t know what to do or feel so you just didn’t talk about it. It’s that kind of feeling, and let me tell you, it’s so warm, and happy, and I can’t get enough of this feeling.

i: What are some things you like about your personality? Name at least two.

-- I do like the fact that I’m friendly honestly. I’m also pretty shy though, so I don’t know if that’s something I like that much but?? I think it’s good enough.

j: What was something you enjoyed doing when you were younger? Is it something you still enjoy?

-- I don’t read as much as I’d like to anymore honestly. I should definitely start reading some more again. Though I always have trouble finding books that I like enough to even start reading.

k: What is something you’re passionate about?

-- Is it gay to say that I’m passionate about my girlfriend? Because,,, She’s just the best, and I really wanna make her happy.

l: Do you believe people can change?

-- Yes, I really do think people can change. It just depends if they actually WANT to change. That’s a completely different story honestly.

-- I Wouldn’t Mind by He is We is one of my favorite songs to date, I don’t really know why, but I really love it honestly.

-- My eyes, actually.

-- Probably my hair ever since I started growing it out again.

-- I’d say my fashion sense, but I dress in either black or bright ass colors.

-- I do however, have nice legs LOL. Nice thick thighs to go with ‘em.

-- The day my girlfriend asked me out. It’s the best day thus far. It’s made me so happy.

-- I like energetic people, who also know when quiet is necessary. They have to have a sense of humor too, because all I do is laugh a lot at nothing.

q: If you had 24 hours to live, what would you do?

-- It depends, do I have a limit on what I could do? Because I’d like to just cuddle with my girlfriend for that whole 24 hours.

r: What’s something you’ve done that you regret?

-- Dating my ex.

-- I’m all for everyone having their own opinions honestly. I’m really happy if I can be friends with someone who has differing opinions.

-- There is no such thing as a right or wrong opinion. I respect everyone for their opinion even if it goes against what I think. Opinions are just that, opinions. They don’t matter much in the long run.

-- No, I really don’t.

-- Yes, but I’m also the type of person to hold grudges if I deem them necessary honestly.
