i just thing it's super interesting to hear what people carry every day. what makes you use that type of bag? what do you carry in them? and do you use them? is it for safety? is it for peace of mind? just like having cool knicknacks around?
The service dog battle vest was kinda just cause I thought it was funny and cheeky and vaguely suggestive and I genuinely wasn't expecting people to actually clock it and start approaching me for like. Support going up the stairs or help picking something up or directions to their bus stop or whatever but it seems to be happening noticeably more frequently when I wear this than when I wear my other weird jackets. Genuinely very funny and charming to me. The people have spoken and they want a service butch
Nekydallon’s stalwart partner, Dulcis Pavo! Her eyes and ears to the world most days. Every fight, she uses an akuma to grant him a new power to best suite the situation at hand. Pavo purposefully avoids creating sentimonsters from a sense of honor, but when he does in emergencies, he leaves them with Neky to assist in protecting her.
Would there have been effective methods to treat hives caused by a contact allergy in the 1940s?
Antihistamines were all the rage in the 1940s, so they probably would have used those. Among the most popular at the time were phenbenzamine (Antergan- 1942) and diphenhydramine (Benadryl- 1943).
Another weird question for y'all:
If you are moderately allergic* to a thing and had been eating it anyway for years because you didn't know, and then when you figure out what you're allergic to you quit eating it at all, can you lose your ability to tolerate even a little bit of it?
*a phrase which here means "probably severely allergic but can tolerate small amounts when on antihistamines"
I am a fucking hedge and garden witch. I like outside. I dance in the rain and have tea in the garden.
I also get a sunburn in five minutes. And, if the itchy bumps on my legs and torso are any indication, am ALLERGIC TO GRASS NOW (thank the gods my dad has non-benadryl antihistamines)

Had this idea yesterday because seasonal allergies are hitting me like a truck right now. So this is for all my fellow allergy sufferers.
