I remember why I stopped reading this fic oh my god
#Yamaguchi would not ‘flirt with anything (sentient or not)’ he would not say ‘oh honey’ he would not be oblivious to how Tsukishima feels#YOU FUNDAMENTALLY MISUNDERSTAND EVERYRHING ABOUT HIS VERY SIMPLE CHARACTER#look as a yama fan I encourage expanding his character right#but in canon. his character is 1. social anxiety personified 2. a dork 3. kind of snarky 4. a follower and 5. How would she survive? Nnoitra had been taught that it WAS possible for Hollow ( or at least Arrancar ) to procreate. Maybe it was easier for a human to fuck a Hollow? Then again --- There weren't that many female Hollow to begin with, because they never lasted long in Hueco Mundo.
❝ What I think 'bout 'em? I think that if they're half human, half Hollow, they should just try 'ta become full-on Hollow, 'n get rid 'a 'da human side. We ALL know humans are weak as fuck. ❞ That's what HE would've done if he had been unfortunate enough to be a Fullbringer. He also wondered --- HOW WOULD THEY TASTE? Like a human? Like a Hollow? Would they feel like kin, or would they be his enemy? Mah, even his own kind were his enemies so maybe that was a stupid question.
It sounded, to him, like the worst of both worlds. Being a Hollow was... Pretty bad. It wasn't an existence that anyone would WISH for. He thought that being human... That would be even worse though. Because then you'd be weak. So yeah, Fullbringer really had drawn the shortest straw, huh?

“Oi, Tsukki-poo, has anyone ever told you you’re rather stiff?” Bokuto pointed out suddenly, tossing a stray volleyball up into the air while he lay on his back.
They had just finished another round of blocking practice. With no desire to return to their respective classes just yet, the three of them were sitting around the empty gym, catching up on life and enjoying the sounds of nighttime. Akaashi had already left- too tired to stay up and reminding them not to hang around too long.
The blonde stiffened slightly, feeling weirdly defensive. “What does that mean?”
“Nothing bad, I just noticed you're so…well, stiff.” Bokuto grinned at him, catching the volleyball without looking. “It’s like you're swimming with sharks or something. Relax your shoulders.”
“Can’t blame him for being so nervous, Bo. He is in the presence of greatness.” Kuroo snickered, striking a pose. The effect would have had more oomph had he’d been properly sitting up. Lounging across the aluminum flooring with an elbow propping him up, he gave off the aura of a lazy cat rather than a king.
“I’m not….” Tsukishima trailed off, knowing they were right. He was stiff. Before this, he’d usually sneak off after practice. Today they coaxed him into staying, and now he didn’t know what to do with himself.
In a way, they did make him nervous.
There was no way in hell he was going to admit that out loud though.
“I’m not nervous.” He stated.
“Oya oya?” Bokuto grinned.
“Oya oya oya.” Kuroo grinned back. Just what were these two planning?
“Okay Mr. Totally-Not-Nervous,” Bokuto rolled onto his belly, using the volleyball as a pillow. “What’s making you so stiff then?”
“Yeah, Tsukki. You look like you're about to run away.” Sitting up, Kuroo reached out and squeezed his shoulder, kneading the muscle there. “Ease..relax…”
“Tch- Get ohoff.” Tsukishima twitched at the sudden tingling feeling racing down his spine.
“Whoa, did you hear that?” Bokuto blinked.
“I did. Was that a giggle?” Kuroo smiled.
Tsukishima’s eyes widened behind his glasses, his face burning. “No it was not-”
“Kuroo, squeeze his shoulder again!” Another squeeze followed, making Tsukishima jerk with a choked chuckle.
“Oya oya? No way- you’re ticklish here?” Kuroo squeezed again, grinning when Tsukishima ducked away. “Add that to the list of tickle spots!”
“Get oohoff! I’m not ticklish!” Tsukishima growled, jerking the other way when Bokuto poked his side. “Stop it!”
“Not ticklish huh? So the other day when we tickled you you weren’t ticklish?” The dipped dyed haired man snickered.
“Or the day before that? You mean to tell me you weren’t a giggly mess as we counted your ribs?” Kuroo added, squeezing a tad lower on his shoulder and making Tsukishima arch.
“Or blew raspberries against your ticklish tum?”
“Or squeezed those ticklish knees or yours?”
“Or found that really good spot by your hips?”
“Oh my gohohohod, stop!” Tsukishima groaned in his hands, his face on fire. Even mentioning the previous day's events left his body tingling, fueling his embarrassment. It didn’t help that Kuroo switched to gentle pinches, making it harder to hold down the giggles. Bokuto was full on tickling him now, gently grazing his fingers up and down his side, all while wearing that shit-eating grin of his. “Dohoohn’t remiihihnd me!”
“Aww, he’s blushing!” Kuroo cooed, clawing at Tsukishima’s lower back and making the blonde squeak. “He’s all red!”
“How cute!” Bokuto teased, his other hand coming up to gently prod at the younger boy’s belly, making him double over. “Look, even his ears are red!”
“Fuuuhuck ohohohoff!” The dam broke. Soft breathy giggles poured from his lips as the two third years tickled him relentlessly, keeping their methods on the lighter side. “Doooohohohohon’t tihihiihihickle mehhehehehehhe!”
“Oh? I thought you said you weren’t ticklish?” Bokuto chided in mock shock.
“I lihihiihihihiihed!”
“You did?” Kuroo gasped. “You lied to us?”
“Yhehehehehehes! Ohooohohkay I’m tihiihihiihihcklish!”
“See, that wasn’t so hard now, was it?” Bokuto teased. Kuroo laughed in agreement.
“Ohoohohohohkay yohoohoohohu mahahhahde your poohoohohint, now stahahahhhaap!” Tsukishima pleaded, feeling himself fall backwards. With no way to escape, all he could do was laugh, weakly pushing at their arms as they played.
Eventually, when Tsukishima was as red as a Nekoma uniform and raspy with mirth, the pair ended their playful attack. “Hah! There we go- nice and relaxed!” Kuroo declared with a grin, reaching out and ruffling the blonde’s hair.
“Look at that smile! Aren’t you glad you hung out with us?” Bokuto snickered, equally proud.
Despite his embarrassment, Tsukishima…had fun. He could feel his body ease, no longer strung up with tension. His chest felt light and airy. Had he been anyone else, he would probably be laughing along with them right now.
“I guess.” He mumbled, making the older boys laugh.
“Oi, hurry up and clean up already.” Akaashi’s voice startled them to their feet, turning to face the exhausted looking vice captain. “I already had to distract two teachers from checking in on you three. Get going before a third comes around.”
“Sorry Keji! We’re doing that now!” Bokuto grinned as he and the others got to work. Before long the gym lights were off and the doors were locked, the boys heading back to their respective classes. “Night Tetsu. Night Tsukki-poo! Same time tomorrow?” Bokuto called as he and Akaashi found their class.
“You bet! What about you, Tsukki?” Kuroo raised his brows.
“....Alright.” He nodded, earning a blinding smile. “But no tickling.”
“Hehe, we’ll see.”
