SCP-141-c: Look all I need is some black powder, some batt'ries, maybe somethin' to work as the accelerant, and a fair closed system.
Dr. ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️: Right, I'm not getting you any of that.

Experiment Log, SCP-141-c:
SCP-141-c is brought into the testing chamber. Chamber is made of blast proof ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️ metal alloy with reinforced ⬛️⬛️⬛️ beams capable of withstanding ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️ ton blast. Chamber has been cleared of all objects pre-testing. SCP-141-c exposed to SCP-141 for five minutes pre-testing, and has been presented with a table of inert chemicals labeled as those requested, faulty switches, non-conductive wiring, and various tools. SCP-141-c has been instructed to demonstrate his perceived "fourth" law of thermodynamics as he explained it to Dr. ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️. SCP-141-c has been told that the materials he is presented with are as he requested. Under normal circumstances for a non-anomalous individual it should be impossible to utilize any of the materials presented to craft any sort of explosive.

SCP-141-c has begun work on his explosive. Use of chemicals is in line with how they have been labeled, and he seems unaware of any differences between these and what he'd requested. SCP-141-c follows all assumed steps towards making a bomb.

SCP-141-c has done something with his "accelerant" and it is now glowing.

SCP-141-c has presented his bomb to the glass for inspection. He is excitedly explaining what he's done to it, though his voice is muffled so details are difficult to catch. His knowledge of chemistry and physics seem deeply flawed. One of the other researchers has suggested, sarcastically, that he attempt operation of the "bomb". SCP-141-c seems unsure, but after assurance that we will retreat to a "safe" distance has activated the timer* on the bomb.
*Where did he get a timer, and how did he get it to work?

SCP-141-c has directed us to evacuate personnel from the blast shelter. Request denied.

SCP-141-c has taken to watching the security feed of the blast shelter over my fellow researcher's shoulder, but assures us that we will be able to see the explosion.

SCP-141-c: Which ah apologized fer.
Dr. ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️: You blew up a multi-million dollar testing facility.
SCP-141-c: Technically imploded.
Dr. ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️: There wasn't even a speck of dirt left, how the fuck did you do that.
SCP-141-c: Ah told you, you get the entropy whizzin'-
Dr. ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️: and the matter will implode at the rate of acceleration, I remember. What I don't understand is how you were able to create a detonator or explosion of that scale with the minimal tools you were given.
SCP-141-c: Implosion.
Dr. ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️: (annoyed) Does it matter?
SCP-141-c: Well, if ya wanna be specific about it.
SCP-141-c: Fer the record.
Dr. ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️: You've got a real annoying mouth on you, anyone ever tell you that?
SCP-141-c: Aye, ya wanna see what else ah can dae with it, hen?
Dr. ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️: No.
SCP-141-c: You more fun when the lab coat comes off?
Dr. ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️: No.
Dr. ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️: How were you able to achieve detonation?
SCP-141-c: Listen ahm nae doin' anythin' special, and ah cannae tell what you're hopin' to accomplish with these anyway. Ya asked me tae make a bomb an' ah did.
Dr. ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️: You were given non-reactive chemicals and a dead switch.
SCP-141-c: (mumbling) Seemed pretty reactive tae me, took out yer whole range with it.

𝑻𝒐 𝑫𝒆𝒇𝒚 𝑭𝒂𝒕𝒆
ɪ. ᴊᴜsᴛ ᴛʜᴇ ᴛʜʀᴇᴇ ᴏғ ʏᴏᴜ
Now that you've sort of finally accept your new circumstances, you take the opportunity of being a baby to stare because you know no one's gonna call you a creep for it (this time).
Penelope is 'Mother', you eventually decide.
You take a lot after her, you realize whenever she decides to hold you up to a mirror one day to show you the newest onesie (cow-themed, this time) she's bought for you. You share her skin tone and eye color, and you're fairly sure you see tufts of [H/c] hair growing in.
Those similarities, however, are the only ones you share with her, for she still looks different from you in plenty of other ways.
Penelope Ophelia is tall—almost reaching up to six feet, you're pretty sure—and thin, her body shape a perfect hour glass. Her hair is straight, but cascades into curls where it ends just beneath her butt, and her eyes are fox-like and almost luminescent when the moon or sun hits them just right. Honestly, had it not been for the fact that she was your Mother, you would have been terrified of her as a stranger.
But it is because of the fact that she is your Mother, though, that you know her appearance is exactly just that: an appearance, and nothing more. Despite the sharpness of her eyes and how cool her skin feels against your own, there is a softness to Penelope that pulls you in and makes you unafraid to curl your small hands into the fabric of her clothes and nuzzle your face into the spot that sits between her neck and her shoulder. She coos everytime you do and always makes sure to nuzzle you back, and it fills your insides with warmth.
She likes to bake in her free time, and is pretty damn good at it if the mouth watering smell of bread or whatever other pastry Penelope decides to bless the Ophelia household with is anything to go by. You unfortunately can't really eat a lot of her pastries due to being a baby that's yet to grow their teeth in, but you've learned long ago that patience is, in fact, a virtue, and you will happily reap your reward once the time finally comes.
(For now, though, you can only suffer in silence as you watch Willow scarf down the best looking cheesecake you've ever seen while Penelope airplanes baby food into your mouth.)
The woman you get your horns and slowly growing goat ears and tail from is Willow Ophelia, now also dubbed 'Mum'.
She's about a head shorter than Mother, but for what she lacks in height, she makes up for in muscle. Due to her apparent appreciation for crop tops, you've already seen just how toned her stomach is, and her arms—while not too big—clearly have a lot of power, though you're sure that's what tending to a farm filled with crops and animals does to you.
Mum's skin is dark and littered with lighter patches (vitiligo, you think?), and her eyes are round and colored forest green. What mainly draws you into her, however, has to be the fluffy cloud of platinum blonde hair that sits atop her head, with goat ears colored the same coming out from the sides and thick, birch-like horns protruding from the top and curling backwards in a way that kind of reminded you of that one old goat from Hoodwinked.
When you see Mother and Mum together, it is then that you finally start to believe the old saying, "Opposites attract."
While Penelope looks and feels cold on the outside despite the pure warmth she freely gives to those she loves and cares for, Willow's appearance is all it takes to hide the fact that—even with the chill, almost goofy demeanor she likes to wear around other people—she is a force to be reckoned with the moment you earn her ire.
Firm, stubborn, and determined, Willow loves fiercely and therefore protects her family with the rage of a soldier. You know that she genuinely does actually like working on the farm, but you also know it serves as something to keep her in shape and ready for a fight, too.
Like with Penelope, however, you can't find yourself feeling any sort of fear for her, and perhaps that is because, as her child—the culmination of hers and Penelope's love—you have only ever known Willow's strength in the form of her strong arms holding you like they're meant to shield you from the dangers of the world and willing to do anything to keep you from harm, no matter the cost. Willow's rage is only for those who deserve it, and already, somehow, you know that—in her eyes, at least—you never will.

In the night, Mother reads fairy tales to you from an old book she tells you was gifted to her from her grandfather before his passing.
With a rocking chair next to your crib and you safely secured in her lap, positioned so that you could lay against her stomach, Penelope makes sure to hold the book on her lap in a way that allows you to see the pictures that color the pages not littered with words. Her voice is regal, but also possesses an almost rumbly quality to it that makes her chest vibrate enough to where you can feel it, and that alone is nearly enough to send your eye lids fluttering shut.
Mother likes happy endings. She tells you herself after she finishes reading Cinderella to you, one night (a night that you're very proud of because you didn't immediately fall asleep like you usually do when she reads to you), and tucks you into bed.
"The world is nothing like the ones I read to you, little love," she says, the soft smile that had been gracing her delicate features at the time growing at the sight of your small yawn. "I still like to believe that there is a happy ending for everyone, though, and I hope that someday, you will find yours."
She had ended the brief moment off with a kiss to your forehead, and then left you to dream of the daring princes, kind princesses, and fearsome beasts from the stories she had weaved into your mind with her romantic tales.
Mum's stories come in the day. They aren't as frequent as Mother's, but that only makes them all the more special.
When it's time for those moments, no matter how long or short they may turn out to be, Mum likes to take you away from the house and sit near the lake, where you can watch all the little frogs and dragon flies go about their business amongst the lily pads beneath the blue, cloudy sky.
It is in those moments, then, where it is only the two of you, Mum speaks of no fairy tales or happy endings. Instead, she tells you of divine beings greater than you could ever know; beings who envy the very mortals they look down upon because they can feel things they will never be able to fully replicate, and monsters born from people forced into a world and punished for mistakes not even their own. She whispers about the wilds; about how different this world used to be before humanity's advancements. She doesn't blame all of them for their ambition, for wanting to create an easier world for the generations to come, but you don't miss the sad, almost mournful look that flickers through her shiny eyes, looking as if she'd been pulled back into memories from long before.
And when that happens, all you can do is lean back into her and hope that your presence is enough to bring her home.

This was it. You were finally gonna do it.
You were going to walk today, and no one could stop you.
(A fact that you were very right about, as the only two people who could stop you wouldn't even want to, as any parent's child's first steps is a sacred memory.)
Furrowing your brows in concentration, you shakily lift a hand and place it against the counter next to you for support as you slowly push yourself up onto your feet, a determined frown painting your lips.
Okay. You inhale deeply and try to straighten your back out. Okay, I'm standing up. It's going well so far. Now ...
Narrowing your [E/c] eyes, you begin to look around the room, pondering: Where should I walk to?
As if on cue, Mother steps into the room, and she gasps—loudly.
"Willow!" She turns to yell up the stairs. "Willow get the camera and come quick!"
You hear something clatter from above, but you pay it no mind and instead focus on the the long, white sundress your Mother had decided to wear today.
Bingo.
Taking another deep breath to hype yourself up, you slowly, but surely, take a small step. The action, of course, has your Mother returning her gaze to you faster than anyone can blink, and she gasps again.
"WILLOW! HURRY, LOVE!!"
"I'M HURRYING, I'M HURRYING!!"
Stumbling down the stairs, Mum slides over to Mother's side and nearly drops the camera she's holding in the process—both from the fact that her entrance had almost led to her landing flat on her face, and the shock of seeing you trying to walk.
Choosing to focus on your goal instead of the two women standing in front of you, their eyes filling with tears, you keep your eyes glued to your feet as you carefully take another step, and another one, and another one ...
"Look at you go, kid!" Willow whoops from behind the camera as she takes pictures.
Standing next to her wife, Penelope beams at you and claps her hand, practically glowing the pride. "That's it, little love! Keep going!" she cheers.
Soon enough, the counter is no longer there to support you, and you look up just in time to give your moms a gummy smile as your little legs take you stumbling forward into Mother's legs. The women cheer, and Willow takes one last picture of you hugging Penelope's legs like a koala before setting the camera aside and picking you up, grinning widely.
"That was amazing, kiddo!" She holds you between Mother and herself so they can both smother you with kisses. "Does this mean you're gonna be talking soon, too?"
You giggle, the sound high pitched and bright, and it makes your moms snuggle you even more.
The Ophelia household is warm for the rest of the day, and you can't help but hope it'll stay that way for the rest of your second life.

ASTRO OBSERVATIONS - Sidereal Edition/Natal Placements
Cancer Moons (Ashelashas) - Secret animosity with others. Could have friends that dislike them without knowing. Emotions run high with this group. Asheshla moons tend to get noticed a lot more easily than their mates (other cancer moons). Also have a high sex drive. Could be open to being expressive to others as emotional rollercoasters are often. At some point, the need for secrecy dies out, and the need for community/love care and compassion brings them more nurturance.
Ashelasha moons have 'controlling ancestors'... No better way to put this. They could be open to guiding you but you have to remember its up to you to find your answer this lifetime.
(This reminds me heavily of the mulan movie, especially when she communicates with her ancestors).
Mula (Sagittarius) Moons - Very emotional creatures. Eye opening perspectives. Could of been caged like a bird when younger. Popular energy, could be well known in different spaces. Social media, real life community, in a new community different from their home town etc. Very carefree, loving babes.
Venus in Rohini - Captivating auras, stylish and are confidently bold. Fashionistas. Could really be in the met gala if they wanted lol. Very tasteful when it comes to looks, and personality can be really sensual and sweet. Can be a little heart-throbe. Love to see it.
Shravana Moons - Distance is necessary for needed growth in areas that the mind seeks. What i mean in, travel and connecting to different backgrounds will help you grow culturally and will create great space for your intellect and maturity. With this moon being in capricorn, it helps move out any controlling factors at play. Destiny is connected to the mind and the ethers. So you gotta let go so you can get in control of your circumstances.
Patience, enjoying life as is, and listening to a higher power is what keeps you at balance, and with the ease of flow. k?
Jyesthas - Man.. y'all sex appeal is up there. Doesnt matter if its sun, moon, venus, rising, etc. But its UP. You guys have a 'distance' with the crowd but this is the scorpio nature of you guys. Similar to Shravana Suns/Moons/Venus, you need space so you can get out of the world and into your own mind. Your higher self needs distance so that you can see between the black and white perspectives of life and yourself. You create your own world and thats what makes it special. Your intimate with yourself and the world knows you to be confident, bright and creative however we only see a glimpse of your life through your lens. Its beautiful. Creative life essence is tainted when you allow to many faces and opinions in your work. Do what you want, its your life. Your in control babes.

Neo and Weiss
(Note: This discussion contains spoilers from Roman Holiday)
RWBY's rise from a small nickel-and-dime web series to an expansive universe with a passionate fandom can be attributed to any number of winning aspects. Perhaps none more so than its powerful storyline built upon complex character interactions and even deeper allusions and symbology. But while these canonical interactions have shaped the fandom, we should not forget how influential less-developed relationships have been. Whether they be rareships or simply characters who have never/rarely interacted on screen, we have seen an outpouring of fan-created art, stories, and discussions dedicated to creating these connections. Today, I would love to explore two characters, rarely associated with each other and yet are almost mirror images of each other. Two girls who grew up under similar conditions but decided to walk completely disparate paths.
Childhood - Spoiled and Neglected
Both Trivia Vanille (who would become Neopolitan) and Weiss Schnee were born to rich families and highly influential families within Atlas and Vale respectively. While they were spoiled beyond measure, both were ironically deprived of the one thing they needed most, the right to self-determination. They were abused by their fathers and neglected by their mothers. Both Jacque Schnee and Jimmy Vanille cared for their daughters but always put their own political ambitions above the good of their family and society (both of whom also colluded with criminal elements to gain prestigious governing positions... for a heavy price). And when Weiss and Trivia rebelled, they were imprisoned within their own rooms (until they escaped).
Likewise, Willow and Carmel loved their daughters but failed to protect them from their vengeful fathers. In Willow's case, it was a tragic tale of abuse and depression. Carmel was more manipulative and self-absorbed. Regardless, the abuse and neglect that they received left them scarred.
Despite their similar upbringings, there are still notable differences in their circumstances. First, Trivia was an only child with no friends and little contact with anyone other than her parents, who she felt disconnected with. By contrast, Weiss had two siblings. This changed the nature of their loneliness. For Trivia, the mansion was a forlorn and friendless environment. For Weiss, family life was hostile and bitter; while most non-family members (except for Klein) were either detached or sought to exploit her for their own ambitions.
Loneliness and Pain
Both Trivia and Weiss were deeply lonely. And yet, the way they handled their loneliness was completely separate. Weiss internalized her misery, hiding it under an icy and imperious facade. Trivia could not be more different. While Weiss was introspective, internalizing the isolation, Trivia externalized her trauma to create an imaginary friend named Neo. And just like her mismatched eyes, her personality was split between these two personas.
This loneliness was symbolized by glass for both of them. For Weiss, it was looking into the mirror and seeing someone she didn't recognize. While for Trivia, it was the use of illusions, especially illusions of breaking glass. Both of them are noticeably asymmetrical as well, symbolizing how neither was the 'perfect' heir to their family names.
This all comes back to their upbringing. In addition to simply being two, very different people, Weiss was a very public figure. In addition to the hostile family atmosphere, she was also shown off like a prized gem. She sang, she fought, and most likely, she socialized. She represented the family and had the mantle of responsibility thrown upon her shoulders from a young age, causing her to draw in upon herself. By contrast, Trivia's parents were ashamed of here. Between her muteness, mismatched eyes, and 'shameful' semblance (in contrast to Weiss's singing voice and lauded semblance), she was hidden from the public face. She was kept a secret from all but a few, paid-off associates. As a result, she lashed out and externalized her frustration.
School, Love, and Revenge
School offered an escape for both Weiss and Trivia but they had wildly different experiences. Trivia didn't get to choose her school and was forced into a hostile environment where every girl sought to manipulate others to reach their ends (much like Weiss's upbringing). Weiss chose her school and in doing so, managed to escape her loneliness and expand her world horizons. But one thing it gave them in common: it was through this experience that they found that special someone who they could finally connect with. Trivia's relationship with Roman was fraught at first, neither trusting the other. And well, we know the history between Ice Queen and Crater Face, and wild and beautiful story that has evolved from that one tenuous moment.
School was also a turning point for both of them. It was where they developed their semblances and set them up for the conflicts ahead (as a side note, the headmaster/headmistress of each institution also proved more duplicitous than they seemed). It set them both up on a wild journey that would eventually lead them back home for one final confrontation with their fathers. Both ending quite spectacularly, if with very different tones. But while Weiss had the opportunity to make up with her mother and siblings, Neo became further traumatized by her parents' deaths and her role in it. It was through this trauma that she abandoned Trivia and became Neopolitan.
The Path They Walk
I am fascinated by how parallel their stories are and yet completely opposite. Their childhoods were steeped in wealth, neglect, and loneliness. They both found that one special person who could rescue them from their loneliness. And yet, while Neo may be more powerful, there is little doubt in my mind that Weiss is stronger. Neo's semblance was all about hiding from her pain, while Weiss's was built upon her progression as a person (e.g., how her ability to summon the Nevermore despite never having slain it is representative of her trust in Ruby). Both are highly empathetic. Yet while Neo uses her empathy to exploit other people. To understand their habits and motives so that she can convincingly imitate or exploit them (for example, how she thoroughly understood Ruby's greatest fears and weaknesses and used this psychological understanding to torture her). By contrast, Weiss is not just empathetic, she actually sympathizes with other people.
Weiss looked into the mirror and overcame her darkness. She created relationships with a community of people, despite her social awkwardness and frosty aloofness. And when that one person who was most special to her died, she carried on. Her trust in Ruby and her ideals drove her forward. By contrast, Neo was never able to overcome her various traumas. She was consumed by her reflection, becoming Neopolitan and allowing 'Trivia' to die (albeit, Neo was always a part of her). Neo was never able to recover from Roman's death, not until the very end. Weiss found happiness, connection, and purpose, while Neo was left empty after exacting her revenge. What if their roles had been reversed, how would that story have turned out?
Anyways, I hope you will excuse me if I missed other salient connections between them. My writing may be obnoxiously verbose but my analytical abilities are perhaps mediocre. If you are actually still reading this rambling mess, thank you! That is very Weiss of you!

I don't want to get too caught up on semantics but I have to say I really feel like it's an unfair reading of the situation to call what Charles does in the Staircase Scene a "rejection."
I've already talked about how I think that scene's strength lies in the act of telling itself and Edwin's confession as the conclusion of his self-discovery arc. And I understand how the fact that that arc involved things like sexuality & attraction left it open to being viewed under a sort of romance-plot-specific lens, but evaluating the whole thing on that criteria still feels like a misrepresentation.
I don't think Edwin is saying "Love me" in that scene. Maybe he would've been asking for that, if this had all happened under different circumstances - and sure, generally, he'd presumably like that to happen - but it'd still be a kind of insane request for him to make right as he's being literally rescued from hell. (Especially since, even though the audience & Charles can both see the rescue as so in-character we might take it for granted, Edwin clearly didn't, if his consistently surprised confused & appalled reactions to Charles being there are anything to go by). I think he's feeling very loved already at that point, and I have a hard time believing desperation to simply have that reiterated is what drove him to speak up at such an inopportune moment.
I think what he's really saying there is "Hear me" - and as a listener and a confidant, Charles does anything but reject him. Maybe it's splitting hairs a bit, but if the distinction between "please don't turn me down" and "please understand the person in front of you" matters anywhere, it's in relation to Charles' response because he is so accepting of the confession as a confession. Not only does he take what Edwin tells him well, despite it being the sort of thing that might rock the foundation of the most important relationship in his existence, he also accepts the fact that Edwin is in such a vulnerable and worked up state that he has to do it right now despite it endangering them both. Charles would, truthfully, be totally justified in mostly ignoring it or passing over it quickly and inconclusively, insisting that this wasn't the time or place - but instead everything he says and does in that scene is geared toward giving Edwin's announcement the attention & understanding he needs so badly - and that includes responding with honesty about his own feelings, even if they might not otherwise be exactly what you'd want to hear after declaring your love for someone. Charles takes his time (perhaps foolishly, but certainly necessarily) and gives Edwin a response that is warm and familiar, while also being kind, affectionate, open, serious, and above all correspondingly worthy of the weight of the thing Edwin has just entrusted him with. That seems an awful lot to pass over simply because he doesn't also happen to be in love with him too.
Edwin's confession is so not a come-on that whether or not Charles reciprocates the romantic element is, at best, secondary to his overall reaction, and using that piece of it to call the whole thing a rejection feels like a very inaccurate shorthand to get in the habit of using as a summary of his role in the scene.

It is literally foreshadowed in her name Kyoko is bound to suicide with Sayaka as sakura's are heavily associated with kamikazes. Besides aforementioned timeline; In Portable, during the scheduled downfall of Sayaka, and eventual death at Homura's hands, Kyoko has a breakdown switching between laughing, crying, until eventually screaming in pain as she turns to Ophelia, saying she was stupid to think she could save Sayaka. Ophelia's labyrinth literally has little fish floating around, it's so clearly underwater, it's so clearly tied to Sayaka, there are staves with musical notes coming out of the ground of the labyrinth. And as if that isn't enough, the music playing is relatively similar to Symposium Magarum, at the very least a part of it, altered, slower, on a different instrument - it's there however if you listen close.
Kyoko is so tied to Sayaka in her mind that even if in series they weren't on the best of terms, it affects her in death. Her feelings are obvious once stirred through enough, it's Sayaka that refuses any aid, or a chance at another way. There IS, another way, that through Kyoko, however Sayaka's ideation of a magical girl is heavily tied to Mami's image (not Mami herself, but how she presented, lacking the vulnerability she shared with Madoka) who is in complete contrast to Kyoko. The full "you die a hero or live long enough become a villain". No matter how much she runs away from it however, I feel that in Rebellion Sayaka embraces both sides (and creating the doppel system by proxy).
On another note, and parallel, Sayaka chose to "give her life away", becoming a magical girl meant suicide to her in the end and, the argument with Madoka in the rain may had still lingered in the back of her mind, so Kyoko choosing suicide to keep her company mirrored that and maybe, just maybe, she felt understood through it. It was the ultimate sacrifice Sayaka made for love and association could be made to believe that Kyoko's suicide is also her confession. The magnet metaphor is due the blue/red but also you need to hold them in a certain way for them stick (as the same ends will push one another away, the same they did under the same condition) and when they do, they're insepparable.

I've never been able to play/watch play throughs of the portable games, so I lack a lot of context when it comes to events and information presented in it.
Kyoko has a strange mild obsession with Sayaka and saving Sayaka, which almost reminds me of Homura and Madoka's relationship.
I feel the warped (not in the toxic sense, just unconventional sense) ideas that Kyoko has about expressing her love to Sayaka reflects her past and the wish she made for her father. To Kyoko, love means absolute devotion and sacrifice. In Japan, there's a myth that two lovers who commit suicide together are reborn as twins and/or reborn as the same person. Kyoko truly does see kamikazeing herself into Oktavia as a way for her to fully express the feeling of "I love you and I swear I won't leave you alone or abandon you for someone else".
While I believe Kyoko originally intended to warn Sayaka about wishing for others (sorta how Mami did), and pitied her because the circumstances of Sayaka's wish were so similar to her own, she fell fast and hard.
They're both so similar and yet oppositionally different. They're both so, so, deeply and desperately lonely and Kyoko sees this and sees a way for the two of them to overcome their loneliness together. But Sayaka has such a strong idea of "a good magical girl" and "a good person" she won't allow herself to connect with anyone else, especially not Kyoko, who she views as "evil" (I believe Mami played a part in this view).
They could've had a happy ending and saved eachother if only Sayaka wasn't so stubborn and Kyoko could take a gentler approach. The very direct "full-force love" style they both have, with the added "inability to properly confess without use of secretive acts of devotion" is why we got the ending we did.

And in my honest and unbiased opinion 😉 Dick is the undisputed favourite of Tim and Damian. Tim has been a Dick Grayson fanboy since he was introduced, and they were written as having an adorable, brotherly relationship for years, going from serious heart to hearts to teasing and fooling around, depending on the mood and circumstances. And Damian learned to respect and appreciate Dick while they were working together (those of us who love them together will never let go of “we were the best”).
Jason, I guess it would be Dick for him too? I know it was a thing during the New 52 to write Tim and Jason as regarding each other as the only brother they liked, or some such nonsense, but it really is nonsense with no history behind. Before Flashpoint, Jason shot Tim and left him for dead in a cave. After, they're best buddies without explanation? Anyway, we've seen Dick and Jason hang out a few times since Rebirth started, and as far as I know, that's more than can be said for anyone else? But then, I don't know much about what's been going on with Jason the last couple of years. Maybe he's developed a soft spot for the baby in the family, or something?
But when it comes to Dick, I really can't say if it would be Tim or Damian. He has grown very close to both of them in different ways. Jason is more complicated - they had a good but not close relationship when Jason was new (don't believe any fan that says that Dick was a bad brother) and they have a good relationship now, but they definitely had a couple of rough years in between. Jason killed people dressed as Nightwing, he shot Tim and Damian and was generally villainous during the second DickBats era.
And that's the only characters I can formulate opinions about. I'm not even sure they're supposed to be brothers at this point, because for all that Tim Taylor lets Dick and Bruce call each other dad and son, I’ve yet to find solid support for that anyone is adopted after Flashpoint.

You ever think about how Ryne probably got a more honest yet closed-off Thancred while Minfilia got a more disingenuine yet open Thancred?
Like, the Thancred Minfilia knew and grew up with was the one we saw in arr, the flirty, teasing and sassy but friendly man who was clearly not very honest seeing as no one- not even Minfilia- noticed how worn out he was from his constant work. Even just by hw he's noticably more prickly and. not quite rude but. more outwardly cynical? He's always been kinda cynical, but in arr his teasing and banter hides it well, which never disappears but is more. natural? genuine? now. Krile directly points out that he's much more brusque than she expected of him based on how Minfilia described him.
And sure, you could attribute that behaviour to his grief and stress (which is certainly a part of it) but considering he acts much the same in ew, when he's finally moved on and come to terms with everything (and is also post-shb character development), I think it's safe to say that this is the most honest we've seen Thancred be.
But this is all Ryne has known him to be. She's never seen Thancred be flirtatious or as social and friendly as he is in arr, she's only seen him be brusque and cynical but still teasing and kind. But he's also far more closed off from her (and others) bc of That Whole Deal going on. Urianger has told her more about Thancred's true feelings than Thancred himself has. and even that's not a lot, for Urianger is not only not a mind reader and doesn't know everything that goes on on Thancred's head, but also is reluctant to share more than is necessary since it's not his place to divulge these things (and also he himself is not free from the folly of emotional self-isolation).
With Minfilia though, he's open enough that she's never doubted that he cared for and loved her even when he couldn't spend much time with her, and she felt comfortable enough to admonish him when he did his usual self-destructive behaviour (you know, becoming an alchoholic at 17 and All That Entails)

I think, under the right circumstances, Callie would've turned out exactly like Shauna. She's clever - cunning, even. She has a touch of ruthlessness to her. The only difference is, she didn't end up in the wilderness, with an obscure, bloodthirsty deity that's probably also bored.
She truly is her mother's daughter, in spite of the distance between them.

love my social worker he's so sweet and i love my mentor/guide/one day i'll find a fitting english word for what her role is too. last time i met the former he said they talked abt the thing i'm starting this thursday and said "while it feels like these circumstances may be impossible for you, logically speaking you shouldn't succeed there, yet both of us are certain you will" which is very nice but also AAAAAAAAAAAAA

so i have a question that i think it's interesting but do you think camila was completely selfless during the hotel scene with daisy?. Don't get me wrong, i think camila cared about daisy but also i think she was trying to make her stay away from her husband because there was a huge part of her that was afraid of billy loving daisy and being stupid enough to leave his family for her. That doesn't take away from camila being a genuine person but i think there was a little bit of malice in her actions (understandable, she's human) and a part of her was trying to push daisy away from billy because she knew there was something really strong there that she couldn't hold back. Also her keeping daisy's number but not sharing it was a huge giveaway because i think deep down, she lowkey knew that daisy was always going to be really important for billy
camila is the hardest character to get an accurate picture of because every character is telling her daughter the best version of her recently deceased mother. none of them want to tarnish her memory Especially daisy and billy when they talk about anything between the two of them. if she acted completely selflessly in the hotel room scene then she’d be the most unrealistic character of all time tbh. she’s protecting her family against someone she perceives as a threat at the end of the day, however i think because she’s so empathetic and has experience with addiction she’s able to tell daisy what she needs to hear. there’s also always the chance that she said something to daisy in that moment that daisy wouldn’t want to tell julia. the number thing i think is less jealousy and more to do with the fact that billy probably wanted to never talk to or mention daisy in the aftermath of the band splitting because at that point theres no reason for camila to think he’s going to leave her she’s absolutely secure with the knowledge that he’d give up anything for her
#when the narrator was revealed it suddenly made so much sense why camila was the only one across accounts who seemed wholly good#and if in the show they make her do things differently in the show i support them#because it’ll be an example of how time and circumstances make unreliable narrators#i think the number was probably to show that there was no ill will between the two of them#they kept in touch! How many times do you think daisy’s number changed since the 70s they would have had to talk!#and that was something camila kept from billy because she knew it would hurt him#djats

#stopp he was so young and innocent#comparatively obviously he’s been fighting in a war for several years at this point and has killed lots of people#actually the epilogue of this story where they’re like it’s so sad that he never saw her again#and he missed out on being with the only girl he ever loved#everyone he knew is dead and buried#even though Bucky never talked about her he was devoted to her and was going to see her right when the war ended#falls a bit flat for me#because the presentation of it to me seems to take for granted that they would have been together after the war#and like done the whole thing and gotten married and had kids like she did eventually with someone else#when they knew each other for a day#like to me the tragedy is more in this as an example of that loss of innocence#as post-Winter Soldier brainwashing Bucky is really different person#and that no one can ever know what would have happened between them if the circumstances permitted it#marvel#bucky barnes#my posts#comic panels

#.text#my go to currently is asbel -> sophie -> richard#so that asbel is protos heis. sophie is the princess. and richard is from lhant.#because i think the idea of a 13yo asbel being the Famed Weapon of Fodra Fame is really. really funny.#and also because i like the parallels between richard and sophie. so sophie is the antagonist now.#sorry i only swap the protagonists its all in good fun and character dynamics i dont get to see because of Circumstances#but also because the side characters in this game revolve around who and what they are so intricately that i think trying to#swap them around would actually just end up losing their character.#like i think you COULD swap malik with say pascal but you cant swap pascal with anyone and have the same character#since her involvement with the plot is Because of her character#i could attempt to switch hubert with pascal as the local genius for example but what would then become of pascal#because ultimately the only reason hubert ended up with the party is because he was ordered to. and realized he wanted to stay.#and he is a logical person who does not consider his feelings much save for his pride and trust. so if you took away him being ordered#around. i do not see him staying.#though i could switch hubert with cheria. because i think even if asbel wasn't the Older brother i think they would still be Brothers#so he would become the healer and stay out of what he feels is obligation to asbel.#but then my original intent was to switch cheria and hubert so then itd look like im just playing favorites....#WHICH I AM. so who cares actually. cheria the childhood friend who was forced to move away as a child#but then pascal is NOT an easy person to swap with which is the problem !!#if i swapped her and malik those two would end up in the same position but with like slightly different entrances#whatever.
