I watched @quinton-reviews 's new video and I wanted to do my set homework and come up with my own dream Nicktoons Unite team, except I never had any of the american channels growing up and I'm not familiar with a lot of these shows.

But nevermind, I came up with a compromise. Here's my concept for if they did a Nicktoon Unite style game but with CBBC and CBeebies characters:

1) Danger Mouse: reboot DM in particular is the obvious pick to replace Jimmy Neutron in this lineup. He's already dealt with cross-universe travel and portals in canon, and he has Professor Squawkencluck, who already just invents whatever device the plot requires. He's both practised enough at saving the world to be believable in these situations, while still being incompetent enough to need help from the others. Plus it'd be fun to see how his massive ego would react to these other guys.

2) Victor from The Secret Show: the most niche pick here, but come on. He's literally a secret agent. I'm not going to leave him out. (I dithered over whether to include Victor or Anita since I could only pick one. I chose Victor not because I'm sexist but because I just really want to hear Danger Mouse deliver the "Victor! Are you still alive?" line.)

3) Postman Pat: Now I know this looks like an insane choice. I know that making a postman fight baddies in life or death situations is ludicrous. But listen. Postman Pat: The Movie did it first. Blame them, not me.

4) Dennis The Menace: People who've never read The Beano might think that an un-superpowered 10 year old boy would be way out of his depth on a team with three adult men, two of whom literally fight evil for their job. But people who have read The Beano know that in canon Dennis has already thwarted alien invasions, travelled through time many times and dealth with the ramifications of changing the past AND avoided being beheaded, fought killer robots and man eating plants and sea monsters, toppled multiple dictatorships, got the British prime minister arrested, and fought climate change by going directly to the source and tearing down the factories. Whatever these games could possibly throw at him would be just another tuesday for Dennis.

5) Tiny Clanger: she's kind of the Spongebob of the group, both in the sense that high stakes situations and saving the world are really not what she usually does, but she would if she had to, and in the sense that she'd be the heart of the group. DM, Victor, and Dennis are all kind of self-centred assholes at heart who only save the world because no-one else will, and Pat is a middle aged British man (and therefore emotionally repressed), while Tiny Clanger is unfailingly loving, and kind, and friendly, and empathetic. Also her best friend in the world is a large metal bird, and I think Tiny suddenly riding around on the Iron Chicken would be a really cool power up for her.

crying because whenever i go to the club i dont get to skip the line, but when my pretty friends come we get in immediately 💀 i would have the fffffattest unrequited crush on sukuna and he would just be fucking all my pretty friends, thats why i like the characters like yuji, yuta, and choso 😭

personally, if that happened to me, i would have shot the club up, but that’s just me 🤷🏼

sukuna is…sukuna is such a bastard. i hate that irredeemable man!! unrequited crush on sukuna is nasty work.

because he would 100% know that you have a crush on him!! crushes aren’t new to him, he’s been getting googly eyes, shy glances, giggles, and love confessions ever since primary school, he can spot a person with crush miles away.

he probably thinks it’s funny how dejected you look when he purposefully flirts with your friends, might even order a round of drinks for them, conveniently forgetting that you’re a part of their little group, too. he stands back and watches you frown and sigh and sink down into your seat, likely already used to this kind of treatment when you go out with your friends.

you’re not ugly, you just have a habit of attracting friends that completely overshadow you, it happens. not to him though, heh.

when he spots you standing in line with your girls, pulling at this and tugging at that, primping here and there, he always has to bite back a grin and swallow a laugh. you’re all dolled up. you always are, it’s one of those shitty fancy clubs after all, but he can tell you’ve put in extra effort today.

your usual fly-aways are smoothed down, eyebrows tweezed or waxed or whatever hell people do nowadays, lashes curled and lips plump, and you’re showing more skin than you ever had. you’re getting looks from the other guys in line -you always do, but you never seem to notice it. probably because you’re always watching him like a hawk- and two of them have already tried to strike up a conversation with you.

well those fucks aren’t getting in here tonight.

he figures he should give you something, half of a crumb to keep your attention and in turn keep his monthly amusement, and when you finally reach the front of the line, he gives you the eye contact you’ve been itching for since you left the house tonight.

“you ladies back again? ‘m starting to think that you’re just coming here to see me.” a lazy smirk settles on his face, and he keeps his gaze on you as he speaks, not able to keep the laugh at bay as he watches you flounder over your words.

one of your friends speaks up, and he can’t be bothered to pay it any attention, not when you look like you’re ready to combust already. “you look different,” he says and gives a faux quizzical look. “you change your hair?”

“oh! u-uh, yeah, i did!” you blurt out how you had styled it that night, and how hard it had been to get it just right, and how you weren’t too sure about it, and fuck you just didn’t know when to stop, did you?

“i like it - suits you.”

you stop mid sentence.

he gives you a slow once over and grins again.

“well, you have fun tonight, gorgeous.”

Here's my interpretations of all the OOT sages!! I have closeups of each sage and my thoughts behind their headcanon design changes below ^_^ (im alsooooo thinking of selling these as stickers if i ever figure out my silhouette)

Zelda

I headcanon Zelda is half Hylian half Sheikah with Impa being their aunt (mother’s sister, mother being full Sheikah and died when Zelda was young)

I also hc Zelda/Sheik as either transmasc or gender fluid depending on the interpretation of OOT I’m using, in this art Zelda is gender fluid and since I’m talking about sheik and Zelda a lot here I’ll just use they/them

Combined Zelda’s design with Sheik’s to make it more believable that they’re the same person this includes:

A skin color closer to Sheik’s concept art

Heterochromia, which is why sheik was hiding one of their eyes (and Zelda was forced to wear contacts or use magic to hide being half Sheikah post civil war)

Hylian pointed ears, another characteristic sheik had to hide (more info under Impa’s notes)

Lighter blond hair to be closer to Sheikah white hair

Sheik’s eye shape and eyebrows

Textured long hair, sheik would have a braid like in smash bros

Not pictured but if sheik is broad shouldered and muscular, then so is Zelda!!!!

Big forehead Zelda truther

Impa

Shares some traits with Zelda since I hc them as being related such as similar nose shape, eye shape, and skin tone

Textured hair styled into locs, tied into a short ponytail

Sheikah pointed ears, since Sheik hides their ears I thought it would be fun to have another different characteristic between the human races such as differing ear shapes. If Sheik showed their ears it would be a giveaway that they are not fully Sheikah

The rest is basically the same

Rauru

Rauru is perfect as he is all I did was give him spots on his skin to give him more accurate skin of an older person

Saria

So one thing I hc about Saria is that she was Link’s caretaker/mother figure in OOT so my main goal was to make her look childlike but have a more mature face

So I gave her rounder cheeks and made her smaller compared to everyone else and gave her larger eyes and a button nose but I also gave her some lines around her eyes to suggest age, I also gave her thinner eyebrows similar to a kid

I changed her eyes to brown bc I’m tired of all these blue eyed characters, there’s a severe drought of brown eyed characters in tloz

I gave her freckles

Her ears are also pointed upwards. I think the great deku tree did his best to make the kokiri look Hylian especially for link’s sake but he couldn’t get the ears right and they turned a little more animal-like since they live in the middle of the forest and are used to animals than humans. So kokiri look identical to Hylian children except the one difference is their ears being a different shape

Everything else is basically the same

Ruto

RUTOOOOOO ‼️‼️‼️‼️💕💕💕💕💕💕💕‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️💕💕💕💕

Her size is much larger bc why are all the royal male zora 20 stories high but not the female zora, she would be almost as tall as Darunia at this age

I changed her eyes to be like all the other zora, it’s weird all the other zora have full color eyes yet she has human eyes 😭😭 you can tell the Zelda team was terrified about being called monster fuckers by committing fully to making Ruto have all the same traits as other zora

I also gave her freckles and added more spots on her to give her more texture and bc I love the way the Majora’s mask zora look

I haven’t drawn her body so I don’t have itemized changes but I’d make a couple more changes, other than that she’s perfect. Only smaller changes were made to just make her more zora-like than the design the devs used bc they were scared of idek what. Women can be beasts and monsters!!!! Cowards

Nabooru

Nabooru had the most changes besides Zelda but technically Zelda was a mash of two designs rather than fixing all of the issues with Nabooru’s design

My goal was to make her look like an actual person rather than a caricature such as changing her over exaggerated nose to be a hooked nose, removing the white on her lips, etc. If there is anything I need to change about my new design for her please let me know, I want to keep her recognizable without using the harmful designs the devs gave her

I gave her a darker skin color and gave her moles

I toned her red hair so that it looks more natural

I haven't fully decided on her clothes but considering she's in the desert i gave her long sleeves esp bc the area you find her in has crazy sandstorms

I'm still deciding if i keep her yellow eyes or not, i like their contrast and how it matches her eyeshadow but also I want more brown eyed characters

Darunia

The one big change about Darunia is making him more animal like by giving him more of a snout and a dog-like nose. I don't like how Gorons are designed in games like twilight princess and the white lips they have in majora's mask so my main goal was for him to just seem more animalistic and non-human

i also added lighter color around his nose area to suggest age similar to a dog

nothing else changes other than that

I love the comic book writing sensibility that Frequency has, like how Three and Five's ending is great for the story being told but if it were a published comic it would still leave them on the table for if a future writer wanted to use them.

whats funny is that despite doing my best to keep in line with dc comics/comic writing sensibilities throughout the fic (staying as comics-accurate as possible in terms of continuity/tone/characterization/story elements etc) that particular comic writing reality was one that was like. kind of a genuine anxiety that i didn't know i had until i started writing this thing.

ive said before that in the original concept for Frequency all of the clones (besides Thad) were going to end up dead. whether it was via killing each other or unintentionally being the instrument of their own demise (disney villain style). obviously it changed because creating an entire narrative about this one character's redemption arc and then not allowing any of the other villains to have a shot at redemption felt hypocritical and like. mean. not to mention antithetical to the whole ethos of the story.

but the reason why killing off all the other clones was my first instinct is partially because i had this kinda subconscious recoil to the idea that any of them would actually continue on after the story was over.

like, because i was trying to stick to canon so much, while figuring out the story a thought came up a couple times that basically went like, "okay, well, if this was a real comic, then...". and inevitably i had a realization that if this WAS a real comic, my original clone characters would be canonized, and therefore available to any future writer who wanted to yank them out of their respective endgames and inject them into other stories. which i Did Not Like the Idea Of.

classic "making up a guy to get mad at" except it was more "making up a reality to get anxious about". because obviously no matter how much it sticks to canon, Frequency still exists in a fan-created space.

but! i'd never made up original characters to put in my own fanmade stuff before and was definitely feeling protective. because all those original clones i made had yknow: a story purpose and narrative function to facilitate the actual key characters, Thad and Bart. the idea of them being removed from that context in any capacity, even if it was in the hands of a good writer, made me have this gut "no STOP you're ruining it!!!!" reaction.

they were all made for Frequency, and to foil Thad as a character, i didnt like the idea of Three being brought back as a one-note villain or Jude and Nathaniel getting folded into the wider Flash cast of allies. and none of them were made to be main character material. plus the character roster at DC is already uhh Extremely Stacked i genuinely did not want the takeaway to be "and here's the nEW ADDITIONS TO THE FLASH FAMILY!" because that wasnt the intention

anyway i got over it lol. i still did my best not to leave any loose ends, and have each ending be wholly satisfying on its own, and ideally the oc clones basically continue on offscreen while the true adventures are based around Thad and Bart. but yeah it felt right to leave off on that note (and served the story much better than killing everybody off)

New Ideas for HOTD Fashion pt.4

This one’s a little different, considering we’re also going to include Alicent in this little change of costumes 😊

So exhibit A:

The Blue Dress and the Gold. How many times have we seen those now??? Time for a little change. Not only are these the outfits they were when Rhaenyra calls Alicent a WHORE💀 but it’s also the scene where it is revealed that Alicent will be betrothed to Viserys…not long after their appropriate period of grieving had ended.

I feel like Rhaenyra is not entirely out of her grieving period (bc why should she be) and it might be reflected in her clothes with darker tones. Now I don’t imagine her in complete darkness but with some gold peaking through around the sleeves and the neckline, not the complete gold that she wore in the beginning when she was but an innocent child but enough to show a start of an internal struggle. The bits of red could also be a show of her start into maturity and her beginning to take her role as heir more seriously. By having just small amounts of the gold and red that almost seems overshadowed by the seemingly Targaryen black could be a symbol of her standing on the line between her innocence and her duty, being tugged this way and that by her grief. Bc make no mistake she is still in grief, now not only for her mother but in the scene she begins to grieve the loss of Alicent as well. Now Alicent may not be dead but what Rhaenyra deems as her BEST FRIENDS betrayal is far worse than death in her eyes.

As for Alicent she is bordering on (forced) maturity. She’s been subtly flirting and playing the game of courtship, she’s been wearing more of her mothers dresses, but at the end of the day she’s just a little girl and she’s sad as hell and anxious and distraught in both scenes. That could be reflected in many ways, perhaps by her wearing another one of her mother’s dresses but perhaps one of a lighter color as Alicent clings to her innocence that is being stolen away. Green embroidery or a dark velvet green border as a symbol of marriage and motherhood creeping in at the seems to swallow her whole :

These dresses are exactly what I in-vision, the subtle symbolism you can find or weave into these dresses for the moment they are worn speaks volumes. When I see a costume I want it to reflect a character and what they’re going through, their personality, bc a lot of people express themselves through their clothes.

The jewelry would obviously have to change a bit, Rhaenyra was currently not wearing the necklace Daemon had gifted her after he stole Baelon’s egg, and Alicent needs a necklace as well.

For Rhaenyra’s necklace I would make it a combination of these two:

I like the gold as it matches her earrings, as does the rubies, but I also like the symbolism that could be created by adding the diamond as the final hanging gem. A diamond that reflects as it catches the light. Like tears shed and unshed that had and will soon fall down her cheeks.

And with Alicent, I’d expect the same symbolism. Blue fading to green, innocence fading to maturity, a candle turning into a blaze, a Lady becoming a Queen:

(And her earrings could be much the same, with one being a blue and one being a green)

And lastly the hairrr👩‍🦳

For Rhaenyra I imagine something like this:

Nothing too out there, but beautiful and fitting. It would keep it out of her face whilst still holding the beauty of the Targaryen braid and letting her hair flow down straight and free. Combination of kept and free. Rhaenyra has freedom, in her cage.

Alicent was a little more tricky bc I wanted something that was simple, not too regal yet, and still more of her usual style that we saw in her younger years. I stumbled on this:

I like the braided crown, a symbol of the future crown that will come to rest on her head as Queen. I also love that Helaena wears this in her hair, and I like that maybe she stole it from her mother bc she remembers her wearing her hair like that when she was younger. And whilst we have seen Alicent with a braided crown before, this one was more prominent and pulled more forward like an actual crown.

Alright that’s all I’ve got for the outfits in that real and deleted scene between Alicent and Rhaenyra. I’m sure I’ll find more I’d like to see a little differently. I know it won’t change the costumes but hey it’ll give me a little something more to picture in my mind

Two characters appear every month in surprising outfits and situations! Let's enjoy Ogiri together with illustrations that will make your imagination run wild!

This time, the defender with the proof of victory, Knuckles, the fighting king, takes on the sonic clown, the challenger Sonic! The outcome of the dream match where power and speed collide is...! ?

What kind of lines or narration would you use?

You can style it based on the atmosphere and world view of the two of you in the game, or you can create a bold arrangement! In the example, it seems that Sonic is having trouble with being too free... Even if it's a gleeful joke from such a point of view, it's OK!

Act11: “An unforgettable rival”

"This belt is just for me! That's right!"

"'Knuckles! Knuckles! Oooooooo!"

Raising his championship belt and roaring towards the audience is Knuckles the Echiduna, the red echidna fighting king. With a large crowd filling the arena, the champion's performance will heat up the venue.

“Ladies & Gentlemen! The long-awaited title match is finally here!”

The robot referee ``Omochao'' also flew around the ring, further enlivening the venue.

"Knuckles, the undefeated absolute defender, will the title be replaced today!? The featured challenger enters! The clown at the speed of sound...Sonic the Hedgehog!"

"Hey! Looks like you're doing well, knucklehead!"

The challenger, a blue hedgehog, appeared illuminated by a spotlight and landed dashingly on top of the corner post.

Sonic, dressed in a colorful clown suit and performing spectacular acrobatics on the spot, greeted Knuckles and the audience with an exaggerated pose and a fearless smile. The audience seats were also excited.

Knuckles says he's a nasty bastard and hits both Kobushi and glares at the challenger...

"Did I meet you somewhere? I don't care, but I don't think you'll be easy on me."

Sonic and Tails trace the source of the energy and arrive at this venue, but they find Knuckles, the "King of Fighters," there.

He also seems to have a Chaos Emerald that has mutated into a "Champion Belt"... but even with that power, there is no sign that he will regain his memories after seeing Sonic and the others.

"Why? There's also a reaction from the Chaos Emeralds."

"He's always been a gullible guy, and the effects of strange things may be strong... Well, just look at him! If you give that stone head a shot, he'll remember it."

...So, Sonic challenged Knuckles to a fight as a "challenger".

"Knuckles! Knuckles!"

The ringside was filled with rumblings as people cheered for Knuckles. Sonic glanced at the crowd waiting anxiously for the gong to start the match, and with light steps that could be seen as a provocation, he closed the distance to Knuckles...

"Whoa, challenger Sonic! What on earth are you planning on doing!?"

He slowly opened his fist and grinned, and countless balls appeared between his fingers. As if by magic, he threw one ball high into the air, and it flew over the corner post of the ring at high speed, demonstrating a spectacular ball juggling act.

The audience held their breath as they watched this unexpectedly high-level performance. Eventually, the balls piled up one after another in front of Knuckles' nose, and...

＜＜Pon! >>

When all the balls popped, Flicky, a blue bird, was perched there, looking around. Knuckles jumps in surprise and Flicky flies away.

“Did you like the little greeting from the newcomer?”

"Y-you bastard...!"

After giving a mischievous wink, Sonic grins again.

Laughter leaked out from the audience seats. Afterwards, a rain of applause showers down on the ring, praising the spectacular performance.

"'Wow, that's amazing!'" "You totally pissed Knuckles off!" "Sonic! Sonic!"

"...Tenmeee!"

Sonic speaks to Knuckles, who is shaking his fists and showing his anger, from atop the ring post.

``I don't dislike the away atmosphere, but I just don't like it when I'm losing to you in the audience.''

Before I knew it, the cheers that had been dominated by the champions had turned into a 50-50 split in just a few seconds. Knuckles is bread! He slaps his cheeks with both hands, burning his fighting spirit towards Sonic.

“We get along well, I was just thinking you wouldn’t like me either!”

"Knuckles! Knuckles!" "Sonic! Sonic!"

"Let's both be in high spirits in the ring and in the audience! Now, let's start the match!"

<<Khan! >>

A gong sounded throughout the venue, signaling the start of the match.

The two stare at each other in the center of the ring. Knuckles keeps his eyes on Sonic as he moves around quickly.

Knuckles judges the timing and hits an accurate and fiery straight, but Sonic narrowly evades him. As for Sonic, he keeps increasing his speed in an attempt to break Knuckles' stance, which he doesn't like...

"Blue Tornado!"

It spins around Knuckles at high speed with a blue afterimage. He creates a powerful tornado and launches Knuckles high into the sky, then launches a zigzag run-up and spin attack!

＜＜Gashi! >>

Everyone expected a clean hit due to the intense sound of the impact, but...

"Shame for you"

Knuckles, who blocked Sonic's attack by sandwiching his fists between his fists, showed his teeth and grinned, then slammed Sonic to the ground with great force.

"Volcanic, dunk!"

<< Zugoon! >>

The explosion and shock that erupts as the bullet hits the ground. Sonic was launched into the air by the recoil, but there was no visible damage, probably because the impact was dispersed by the high-speed spin, and he quickly regained his balance.

“Oraoraoraaaaaah!”

"Hey! I guess I won!"

Knuckles is in hot pursuit and Sonic is dodging him... Red and blue trajectories passing each other in the air engage in a fierce battle.

"S-Great battle Chao!"

"'Wow, that's amazing!'"

Omochao, along with the audience, cries out in surprise as the live commentary can't keep up with the high-level, high-speed battle. Everyone can't help but cry out in the face of this battle.

"Well, you're still as stupid as ever... But it has to be like this!"

A powerful, fearless and worthy adversary. Before Sonic knew it, he found himself in an unusually excited mood during this serious battle with Knuckles, and he couldn't help but smile bitterly.

"You're an angry bastard, but you'll do it! I've been waiting for someone like you!"

And so was Knuckles. My body moved on its own in the face of a sharp onslaught and speed that I should have never experienced before. For some reason, my heart was warmed by a mysterious and nostalgic uplifting spirit.

"(It's still not like this... Give me the best blow to defeat him!)"

That moment when our mutual excitement reached its climax...!

“It’s time to go to the finale!”

"It's top notch!"

In response to the furious kick unleashed from a top-speed sonic spin, the punch of the fist was like an explosion from an active volcano. Their best blows collide with each other.

<<<< Dogaan! ＞＞＞＞

A clean hit to each other's faces...! The two people collapsed at the same time, and the cheers were louder than ever.

"""Ooooo!"" ""Knuckles! Knuckles!"" "Sonic! Sonic!"

"Ryo, both of you are down! Chao counts! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa..."

"Two...."

In the noisy audience, Tails can't help but clench his fists, as if praying, waiting for the two to return.

"I... Tee!!"

"Oh my god! They got up almost at the same time... Ciao~!?"

Wake up at the same time. But Knuckles was the first to speak.

Knuckles ran up to Sonic, not noticing that he had blown up his toychao in the process, and said this while holding his kicked head.

"What are you doing, Sonic! What are you looking like?"

"...Huh? Tails, it happened like you said, right?"

Knuckles was looking at Sonic with a proud face while stroking his cheek where he was punched, but he suddenly remembered something and let out a scream.

"Yes, listen to me! While I was destroying Eggman's factory, I found a strange monster underground!"

Knuckles is pointing under the ring, as if time has stopped and started moving.

"This guy's in the way... Oh!"

A flash of spirit!

<< Zugone! >>

When he swings his fist at his feet, the ring is blown away along with the floor with the impact. After the swirling debris and dust settled, what I saw below was...

It was a large gaping hole that was still collapsing from the inside in a chain reaction into a huge underground space.

The two of them stare at the hole in amazement, ignoring the noisy audience seats. Breaking the silence, Tails's energy detector makes a loud noise.

＜＜Pipipi! Pipipi! >>

At the same time, a heavy tremor erupts from the depths of the earth...! The area around the hole began to collapse, and the venue became noisy.

"It looks like the energy flow is heading deeper into this hole...! We have to hurry!"

"Ah! ...But wait a minute."

Knuckles snatched the microphone from Omochao, who had stumbled back, and called out to the confused audience:

"Hey, you guys! I'm sorry, but I've gotten into a bit of a wild situation! I'm sure you have a lot to say, but please leave this place to me and evacuate!"

After giving a shout, he shoves the microphone at Omochao and forces him to take charge of the evacuation.

“I-I don’t know what it is, but everyone just runs away~!”

"'Knuckles is saying hello! Run!'" "'Ooooooooooo!'" "'Knuckles! Knuckles! ......'"

"Wow... everyone's gone."

Knuckles smiled at Tails, who was overcome with admiration and was stunned, and then turned to face the dark, deep hole he was heading towards and silently looked down at it.

"...It turned into a forfeited match."

Before he knew it, Sonic was standing behind Knuckles, pretending to be disappointed, and laughing.

"Hey! No matter how you look at it, I won, but you can try it again."

“That’s my line!”

With that said, Sonic jumps into the hole first, followed by Tails. Knuckles chased after it and jumped into the hole, smiling wryly and saying,

"We really get along well, don't we?"

"Cognitive frictional energy"

What the three people saw after passing through the hole was an unusual landscape that they had never imagined. A huge, cylindrical, dark underground cavity about 100 meters in diameter and depth...

At its bottom is a huge white parabolic antenna that looks straight up and is exactly the diameter of this cavity, and in the center of it stands a large conical glass tower like a rocket, emitting dazzling light. I was doing it.

"this is......!?"

Sonic grabbed hold of Tails as he flew, and Knuckles used his specialty to glide, observing the strange sight as they slowly and carefully descended.

＜＜Pipipi! Pipipi! >>

As you descend, the unknown energies that are gathering from various otherworldly areas gradually increase in strength. By the time Sonic and his friends descended halfway down the shaft, it had become a visible torrent of countless purple lights.

"Wow, that's amazing...it's similar to the power of the Phantom Ruby though..."

Tails couldn't figure out what this energy was. However, in the midst of this flow, the moment Tails saw visions of different worlds in various places flickering up and down, emitting intense sparks, a great realization came to him.

"I see! I understand!"

Tails was so surprised that Sonic almost threw him off, and the truth he told him was shocking.

Sonic and his friends' "stars" have been forcibly overwritten with their own perception of countless otherworldly images held by various people using the Phantom Ruby weapon. The gap in perception between the star's original reality and this otherworldly reality was putting a strain on the star, causing it to generate a huge amount of energy.

"So...I guess we should call it 'cognitive frictional energy'...Eggman's purpose was to steal this from all over the world!"

Just as Tails finished his explanation, the three of them landed on the plate of the giant parabolic antenna at the bottom of the cavity and looked up in silence.

"Cognitive frictional energy" coming from all over the world is received by this antenna, gently reflected, and collected at the tip of the central glass tower. The energy converged there could be seen to fall intermittently and be stored in the bulge at the base of the tower.

"He's still a top-notch guy when it comes to doing stupid things."

"Yeah. He's the one who walks around with his clothes on."

Sonic and Knuckles are stunned, but can't hide their bitter smiles on the one hand and their irritation on the other.

"Look at the base of the tower! There's so much energy gathering that it's distorting the space around it... It's enough power to destroy this planet four times!"

Tails tells Sonic and the others with a serious expression.

“What should I do?”

"Well, that energy hasn't been activated yet, so if you release it from the fixed field, the star will self-repair and the events will flow backwards..."

"...Tell me so I can understand, Tails!"

“Anyway, I guess it’s okay if we just destroy it.”

"Well, actually, Knuckles is right... Let's destroy that thing, release the energy, and restore the world to normal!"

“Oh, leave it to me!”

Knuckles rolls up his sleeves and heads towards the tower in high spirits. Sonic saw it off with a bitter smile for a while, but...

“Well, this guy has to be like this.”

I looked at his back and nodded with a smile, and followed him in good spirits.

...... Eventually, the three of them arrive at the base of the tower, where countless otherworldly visions flicker around them, and they sigh once again at its majesty.

The light leaking out of the tank-like shape and the image of another world are like the screams of something. The three of them took up their position with Knuckles in the middle, and finally made up their minds.

"It's made of a very strong crystal, but I think Knuckles' power can break it."

"It's nice to have stupid power. You don't have to think about anything."

"At least thank that idiot for today. Let's go!"

Just when Knuckles raised his clenched fist high and was about to swing it down forcefully!

<<Bashuuu>>

The tank glowed exceptionally brightly, emitting a blinding white flash.

"Wow!"

In the next moment, a purple pillar of light several tens of meters in diameter pierced from the tank to the tip of the tower, and from the tip far into the sky.

"W-what is this...!"

In the meantime, only a few seconds. After that, a silent tower and silence reigned over the area. And a loud, familiar voice echoes from the sky...

"Ho, ho, ho! You came all the way to this place, you damn hedgehogs! You had a good sight, but it seems you were a little too late."

"Eggman!?"

Sonic and his friends look at the sky.

``It's true that this situation is the result of my genius plan. This is 'give and take.' In return for delivering a fun parallel world to everyone, I gain enormous amounts of energy and use this most powerful weapon. That doesn't mean it's completed."

"The strongest weapon!? Something that uses that much energy...?"

Perhaps satisfied with Tails's voice, Eggman gets excited and raises his voice.

"If you can stop me, try to stop me. I'll use Kisama and the others as testing grounds for this most powerful weapon and turn them into trash!"

＜＜Gogogogo...! >>

"Wow!"

As the ground rumbles, countless plant branches and roots spring up from under their feet at an abnormal speed, and before they know it, Sonic and his friends are pushed to the ground, along with the parabolic antenna that has turned into a giant flower.

“!?”

"No way...! Are you creating a different world locally?"

“It’s a mess!”

When they returned to the ground, they found a scene that looked like a hybrid of a chemical plant that had been converted into an energy facility and a sinister plant, and...and then...the ground trembled behind the three of them. When they turned around, they saw a purple-golden giant towering over them.

"This is Eggman's ultimate weapon...!?"

The curtain of a terrible battle was about to be cut off.

Immediate swing around to a character that’s far less obscure and also technically existed when I was last active in the fandom, though I never drew her back then (I doodled everyone in the LoLK cast at least once except for her and Clownpiece). Anyway, I’ve been fascinated with the fact that she purified herself into being nothing more than her grudge so much that almost her entire identity was wiped away, so I wanted to draw her covering her face with a fan with a kitsune on it (used a couple ukiyo-e as reference for drawing that), looked up Chinese fans to make sure I was thinking of the right thing (this kind is called tuanshan), and found out they were historically used in a wedding tradition (queshan) where the bride covers her face with a fan and then reveals it at the end, so I was like. Well, that’s appropriate given that Junko is the Touhou character most likely to have been married at some point, so it all worked out nicely. But then I figured I should probably draw her face anyway, if only to practice giving Touhou characters faces that fit my style and aren’t all the same, and went a bit silly with it lol(k)

Your art style is cool. How did you come up with it?

I have mentioned b4 that i take a lot of inspiration from early 2000s cartoon artist and other online artist with inspo from western media (eg some like kimquatz, farvannn, delaneyjanuzzi)

with many of the characters i also stylize them based on the character that they are twisted from. Chenya is the most obvious case as its more subtle with other characters

sometimes i base the way i stylize them on characters (mostly from western cartoons :p) that have a similar archetype or give similar vibes, sometimes ill base it on my own perception of a character, sometimes ill use my fav drawing tropes, ill base the way i stylize characters on things thats related to their lore (ie the bat wings hair and the little connecting nose to eyebrow to mimic medieval drawings for lillia)

sometimes ill base my takes on characters on other peoples stylizations of characters.

with some characters the shapes i use are related to symbols that they are associated with. of course i use shape language a lot, much of it also depends on clothes, even characters with similar body types can give off completely different vibes from small changes between characteristics and different clothes

idk if u also are asking about coloring but i've recently been using this technique (u probably saw me mention this in the shroud drawings) for fully colored stuff, i use tons of different guache and charcoal brushes and shape the blurbs into whatver the drawing is. i really like seeing random colors used on a single colored object but i do not know how those artist are doing that so im just trying to mimic it :'J. I also really like when the drawing come out looking a bit rough n sketchy, it just scratches my brain :>

#even the smallest line can make a character look completely different #like when u use a few lines to make a character look old #ik u said “how did u come up with it” but i think it would be easier to explain my process of stylizing twst characters #since i make dif style choices for dif media im into #said media mostly being video games....#its kinda why im anxious to take coms/rqs 4 ocs :'I worried i could make the character look completely different/ugly to what some1 asks fo #i often end up defaulting to small variations of typical anime face shapes and typical anime nose styles......

hm hm hm i feel like this will be really interesting to read with the knowledge of korra and how that effected her instead.... because korra (from my limited knowledge so i could be talking out my ass here) knew she was the avatar at an early age and DID get that community. she had katara and her parents, she had her mentors, she was isolated from the real world during so and perfected the elements other than air (which i kinda recall her struggling with and how its the opposite element of earth so im excited to see if those kinda play out :3) and she was more eager to be the avatar and the excitement and significance it brought (which was a bit clouded by her being sheltered but also would have been expected more before the war impacted things)

i also remember matty saying kyoshi struggled with earth bending (which im super excited to get to and see/see her journey and how it will differ) but!!! i just think its really fun how theyre kinda off the bat setting up this expectation and new grounding for readers who have a past grasp of the avatar universe. even as someone who isnt super familiar with the lore, i know enough to recognize that oh! thats something new!! so just kudos to the writer(s?) for just setting this up to be something very different and in a natural way :3

#again. talking out my ass here. if im an idiot no one say anything okay? okay <3 #but i think its fun to already see some parallels or ways kyoshi and korra are different or similar #and how korra got the set-up stage that was considered ideal (i think?) for these two characters #like !!! the avatar is supposed to know theyre the avatar at a young age!#and aang learning when he was 12 instead?? i think?#or being told hey man you gotta fucking get ready/do your teen duties instead of preeteen ones cause theres a war....#but no sorry my head is scattered i cant keep a line of thought but the point was i know a lot of people bash korra because shes too #‘abrasive’ or comfortable with being the avatar when?? for previous experiences that eagerness was something more expected (i think)#like its so difficult to make a solid grounding argument when im not lore caught up but korras excitement to be the avatar and that she #knows its significant and important is something that would been encouraged before the war because of that hope and belief #that the avatar will keep that balance or save the world when others cant. aang disappearing and the genocide and war #obviously effected how people will see the avatar in universe and how her teachers are more hesitant and restrictive #none of this makes sense im just thinkin to myself while half distracted lol but ! go cringegirl bosses go !!!!#RoK (ransom style)
