rhaenicent #1 its literally canon. its subtext its textual its openly a part of the narrative. the complex web of sexuality, womanhood and patriarchy that seeps rhaenicent is so compelling. alicent as a lesbian and rhaenyra as a butch/lesbian/bisexual/trans/dragongender are genuinely compelling analyses of the characters. #1 foreva

im normal about throbb now<3 i think in canon the theon bisexual analysis is interesting but not super vital to his character. his sexuality and manhood certainly, but i like throbb more cos i like theon rather than on its own merits.

sansaery ❤️ i enjoy sansaery as a way to explore sansa's character and specifically her as a lesbian. both characters are fun and interesting but its high up cos it has a special place in my heart<3

im not really into thramsay i have no thoughts on it. one love to the thramsays though u guys are warriors. i think it has wayyy more sub/textual basis in canon than throbb

renloras is just canon so i dont have much thoughts on it. its sweet! make me sad. rip babes loras you would have loved gymbro culture.

jonrobb is meh to me idk 🤷‍♀️ theyre fine as brothers and there's not much analysis to be had of their relationship beyond that. one love to the brocons ig. cousincons

aegon x jace is beyond nothing to me sorry 😭 but thats mostly cos im not super into the dance or hotd beyond rhaenicent. i get why it exists but there's little to no basis in canon to bake nor does it have much analysis. one love to the jacegons of course

They both lost people in ways that it could be argued that it’s their fault, so they could both help each other through it. Plus, they have the opposites attract vibes too by one being pro plants and the other not.

There's only like 3 fics with them and I'm starving. They have the same situation where they lost a loved one that barely resembled the person they used to be by the time of their death, a corruption caused by something beyond their control, but also were involved in it. They both share grief and guilt, and could work on it together, Susie being more stoic and Taranza being way too open with his emotions, they balance eachother out. Also, girlboss x wet paper husband, enough said

I think they have a lot in common and could help each other heal some… they make me want to eat drywall

i am NOT normal about these two. i like to headcanon that taranza unnerves and creeps out dreamlanders due to being a spider. this makes him feel isolated cus he isnt cute and soft and fuzzy looking like everyone else. daraoch is fuzzy, but rats are commonly believed to be dirty, disease ridden animals despite actually being very clean in reality!! both have reasons theyre disliked for just existing and kinda take comfort in each other. also the criminal x noble trope is mwah chefs kiss. also its said that taranza stole the dimensional mirror.. can u imagine daroach finding out taranza just casually stole an ancient relic?? taranza keeps daroach honest and out of too much trouble, and daroach encourages taranza's mischievous streak

QUICK GUYS HOW DO YALL THINK THE CLUMP SHOWS AFFECTION FOR EACHOTHER ?? heres a few of mine:

(yes im starting with fluffybird and before anyone calls me cringe just know becky sloan herself has liked and retweeted fanart of ducks beak in red guys mouth so dont blame me blame HER)

anyway, i like to think they make their own sound effects to get the point across. like theyll hit their face against the others head and say “mwah!” for a quick forehead kiss. and if it’s a beak-to-teeth moment (scandalous, i know) theyll say “clink” instead of “mwah”. clink is a more intimate word. like “clinking” is considered its own thing. (no its not inappropriate, dont be weird, but its the closest they can get to making out. which is not very close. they also bite eachother but thats a clump-wide thing)

i also like to think that theyre the types to throw themselves on top of eachother, specifically to be annoying in red and ducks case. like i can totally see duck flopping into red guys lap while hes sitting in his chair. or red guy crushing the fuck out of duck by laying flat on top of him. in both cases theyre bickering and complaining but neither of them move. yellow guy is definitely a part of this too, hes just less annoying. both duck and yellow will crawl all over red guy but he’ll only bicker with duck about it. i feel like all three of them would throw themselves on top of eachother and pass out in a pile, but occasionally red and duck will use it as a flirting-argument starter whenever they feel like looking at eachother

and of course heres a Guy Brothers moment: red guy swings yellow around like hes nothing. swings him by the legs, by the arms, the throat, etc etc. if hes in the way red guy will pick him up by the head and place him somewhere else. he does this to duck as well, but unlike how pissed duck gets, yellow guy ASKS for it. this is his idea of uppies.
