i wish i knew. when it was my turn to talk about myself
#like obviously tumblr is the exception because i’m shouting into the void#whenever i’m in dms or in a face to face convo. i never know when the right time is#it feels selfish so i just. don’t speak up and then get mad that i feel like no one is paying attention#i think my problem is that i want someone to directly acknowledge me and ask me to contribute. but everyone is too busy paying attention#to their own shit#which is fine like. it’s selfish of me to expect that#i’ve talked about this before but i wish ‘social etiquette tips’ existed for the issue i have#bc most of the ones i see are ‘give other people a chance to talk!! ask THEM questions#don’t just talk about you!!’ and like. that’s all i do. and no one else knows those rules so they don’t return the favor#i wish these kinds of scripts were actually descriptive and not just ‘in an IDEAL situation’#i never know the right time to speak up or the right thing to say#and then when i do. awkward silence and then things move on like i never spoke at all#it’s just so frustrating it makes me want to stop trying at all. but i’ve been down that road#and it’s a vicious cycle#so what exactly are my options lmao

eight-episode seasons becoming the norm, shows being cancelled after their first or second season altogether, corporations not spending a single dollar to promote their renewed shows, corporations deciding to renew based on how many people binge it over and over and over again... this is the slow, choking death of media literacy.

Space is suddenly thrown into a panic, so Phrases helps them ground themself.
hellooooooooooo this wasnt an excuse to draw phrases and space cuddling. no of course not.
i think the flickering blue light flung them into a flashback regarding dunes attack since the flashing is similar to the power given off by her spear. flashbacks can be caused by even very small triggers which is something i think space unfortunately struggles with pretty often. theyve got a good support system now though <3 phrases speaks pretty repetitively at points here- they're aware that space isnt mentally in the present and they're asserting what they know to help. sometimes you have to repeat yourself many times for someone in a panic to hear you or really process what youre telling them

Guys!! I finally finished it, I have to admit it is not my best work... but I think Charles and Max look like themselves and that is an achievement in and of itself.
For the people that want to know more context: Meet Charms Prof. Charles and DaDa Prof. Max, two old quidditch rivals at Hogwarts who ended up teaching there again. Here they had a combined lesson but the class was full of chaos, resulting in not a lot of work getting done. Max still wonders if they should do something about it, but Charles has accepted defeat. They have a tentative friendship, but both don't really talk to each other outside of the occasional hello's in hallways and small talk at breakfast and dinner. Still, they secretly adore each other... of course.
