Through some research and a plant expert (my sister) we have come to the conclusion that in the tv show, Thalia is an Eastern Pitch Pine (probably) based on how she looks.
Does anyone know what type of pine tree Thalia is? It's been bugging me, and I can't figure it out.

Percy "Pay-your-child-support" Jackson is so focused on what a family is supposed to do (love each other unconditionally) because he has had the full spectrum of parents. Loving, caring mom (Sally) -- abusive, hate-filled step-dad (Gabe) -- and absentee dad (Poseidon).
He knows what all three feels like, so he knows how hurtful bad parents are, and how amazing good parent are.
He's seeing these people who are trying so hard to be acknowledged by their parents and not even being given a glance. (Annabeth, who was abandoned by her mother for HIS actions)
I can't wait to see how this evolves further later on through his different quests

"Where's the glory in that?"
The parallels of Percy taking what he learned from Luke to Olympus and almost dying because of it, right before he gets betrayed by him is insane!!
The only reason Percy didn't die there is because Poseidon stepped in and chose family over pride/following the rules.
This makes me wonder what would've happened if Hermes had done something similar for Luke, or if Poseidon didn't step in and Percy survived for some reason.
This show is really highlighting how similar the two are.
Would Percy have joined Luke if he hadn't seen that some gods actually cared about their family?

I fully believe that the casting for the PJO TV show is perfect. Like, look at Percy. My boy looks so confused and done with everything every time we see him. If that's not TLT percy idk what is.
