You would have to be really close with Annabeth for you guys to even start dating

Like she sees dating as a HUGE commitment, you’re either here with her for the long run or you’re not, easy as that

But once she sees how serious you are about the two of you, she’s your 4lifer forever

While she appreciates you giving her gifts and all that good stuff, Annabeth really sees her s/o taking you guys serious when you risk your life for her

Seeing that you would do anything to protect her, to lay down your life for her, she decides that no matter what, she would do the same for you

You’re fighting a monster/enemy?

She’ll be fighting next to you

You get knocked down to the ground while in battle?

She’s picking you right back up with all her strength

Annabeth is extremely loyal to her friends and s/o, it takes a long time for her to truly trust someone, so don’t break it, she’s serious. She’s let down all her walls to let you into her heart so please don’t hurt her</3

Being in a relationship would basically be the same thing as when you were friends, but now involves more physical affection!!

Handholding is a favorite of hers but Annabeth does get a bit selfconcious when doing it around her siblings so don’t be alarmed when she rips her hand out of yours

If anything, she also loves when you lock pinkies with her when it happens :D

Just ease her into it and she’ll be clinging onto your hand whenever she sees you

Her favorite place to kiss her s/o is on the cheek!

Nothing too extreme, but just sweet enough that has you craving more from her

You’re favorite place to kiss her is probably on the back of her hand, it feels like you’re making a promise to her whenever you do it

I think being Annabeth’s partner would include extra protection from her siblings too

Like they all know how much she cares for you so they’re gonna do everything in their power to not let anything happen to you guys (SUPPORTIVE SIBLINGS I LOVE IT😭💔💔)

You guys would definitely sneak out of the cabins at least ONCE during the night just watch the stars together

HOW ROMANTIC IS THAT URGH

It’s during those nights that you guys can relax with each other and not have to worry about any quests, any lingering eyes on y’all, only finding comfort in each other and the cool night air

Talking about romantic, dates would be lowkey for you guys, often settling for mini picnic dates near the strawberry field

I feel like Annabeth would have a bit of trouble with opening up since she’s so used to protecting herself, so you would need to be the push factor for her

She needs to know that you’re willing to put your trust in her for her to open up as well

Look homegirl has a lot of trust issues after Luke😭😭😭

If her s/o remembers the little things about her like her favorite color, or the type of hair ties that she prefers, or even which texture of clothes she doesn’t like, she’s gonna be so happy

Having someone put a lot of attention and care into her might make her nervous, but it’s a good type of nervous

A thing you do that calms Annabeth down is rubbing your thumb on her hand

Something about it seems so calming and familiar to her that she ends up doing it to you too, hoping to comfort you the same

Her hugs are so COMFORTING AND INTIMATE LIKE

She’s the type to wrap her arms around your shoulders and just hold you as close to her body as she can

You guys hug each other whenever you sleep on the same bed too, just stating facts🫡

Trust me when I say she would be quick to bail you out of trouble

Like if you’re dumb enough to try and start a fight you can’t finish, Annabeth basically teleports to you

It’s like a sixth sense at this point for her to know when you’re in trouble

She would drag you away by the arm while you’re shouting out insults to the man who called you’re mythomagic cards ‘stupid and childish’

Laughs while you rant to her about how complicated the game is and how it’s not childish at all

“It requires a LOT of complex thinking! People just don’t appreciate this game anymore and- why are you laughing ? Are you laughing at me?!”

“Pfft no, I’m not laughing…” *starts giggling harder*

“You’re so laughing at me right now, how could you!”

She’s super ticklish so that’s how you normally get your payback on her >:)

Nah cuz being Annabeth’s s/o would literally be the best thing ever

No secrets between y’all, zero judgment, and endless cuddles

Annabeth is the best and you never forget to remind her

She’s protective of her daughter, so it makes sense why she believes you aren’t the one for her

You can only pretend to not see the goddess whenever you cross her path, which she makes it known that it’s rude to ignore someone like her

gabe boy meets EVERY one of livvy’s standards. as stated in livvy’s introduction post, she grew up a bit spoiled due to her being the youngest and the only girl! her parents and brothers all love her to death so livvy does not settle for the bare minimum,, she deserves much more than that!

Hi! Can i request mc seeking comfort in Sol and Simeon? I’m SO overwhelmed by the brothers, i really just want the purgatory boys to free me from them for FIVE minutes 😭

I get that! They are A LOT. I got you with an option for Simeon, Solomon, and both (well, all of Purgatory Hall, technically). I went for a SFW, very little angst approach.

Simeon

Simeon can usually tell when you’re having a rough time, but he always struggles with how to go about asking you and trying to help. You’ll be doing him a favor by just coming to him. It was another busy morning, and the House of Lamentation had seemed worse than ever. You knew it was most likely the accumulation of all the stress they had caused you over the past few weeks. Even Lucifer’s attempts to discipline his brothers weren’t helping. They were overwhelming – the arguments, the fights, the neediness – all of it. You needed to outsource, and that’s what led you to Simeon.

After escaping the brothers at school, you asked Simeon to meet you in an unused RAD common room. The moment he arrived, you pulled him into a hug. “Please save me.”

“What? Why? Are you hurt? Is someone after you?” He began to freak out.

“No, nothing like that. I just need some peace. Please? Can you just hold me for a few minutes?”

“Is that all?” he chuckled, “of course I’ll hold you.”

He walked you to the nearby couch and sat you down on his lap. He knew the cause of your trouble must have been the brothers if you were in need of peace, so he saw no need to ask. Simeon just wanted to be there for you. His long slender fingers gently caressed the back of your head, scratching softly. His thumb smoothed over the skin right behind your ear. Every movement was so careful and loving. Time began to slip away as you focused on his touch and light breathing. You could have fallen asleep like that, securely in his arms.

“Feeling better,” he asked, smiling at you.

“A little,” you lied. You actually felt much better, but you feared he would let go if he knew.

“Just a little? Let me see if I can make you more comfortable.” Simeon wrapped part of his cape around you and placed a kiss on the top of your head. The warmth – his warmth – enveloped you. “We can stay like this as long as you need.”

“Even if that means ditching classes?”

“Well, I –” he hummed in consideration “– I suppose we could, if you need it.”

Solomon

Beelzebub eating critical nullifying ingredients, Belphegor’s lack of focus, and Asmo’s lack of concern for any class that wasn’t Seductive Speechcraft combined catastrophically and resulted in the entire classroom exploding with a heavy plume of smoke that filed into every nearby hall and room. As soon as it was confirmed that the smoke wasn’t toxic, Diavolo cancelled classes for the rest of the day and sent the student body home. Solomon had found you in the chaos of students being rushed out of RAD. He insisted upon walking you home.

“They really messed up that one today,” Solomon laughed. You stopped walking and covered your eyes with the palms of your hands. Solomon stopped and reached out towards you before pulling his hand back, “are you okay? Did you get smoke in your eyes.”

“They’re like this every day, Solomon.”

“What?”

“It doesn’t let up. They’ve been like this for weeks.” You shook your head. “I just want one day – even just half a day – without them causing such a mess.”

“They’re really a handful, huh?” Solomon sighed.

You dropped your hands from your eyes to hold his hands. “Can I go home with you?”

“Yeah, of course.” Solomon’s gaze softened as he took pity on you.

He offered to cook for you, but you refused. So instead, he offered you the sandwich that Luke had packed for him that he hadn’t had a chance to eat. You agreed and dug in, grateful to both Solomon and Luke. While you ate, Solomon left to “tidy up his room.” When you finished eating and went to check on him, you were surprised to see that his bed had been rearranged into a nest of pillows, blankets, and stuffed animals. His laptop was sitting at the foot of the bed and bottles of juice and bags of snacks were sitting on Solomon’s nightstand.

“Oh, hey,” Solomon greeted you. He jumped into his nest and pat the space next to him, “care to join me?”

You crawled into bed with him, and he wrapped his arms around you, holding you tightly. He queued up one of your favorite comfort shows. You were free to stay there as long as you needed – especially if that meant you stayed the night with him.

Both

A loud crash, followed by the distinctive “MAMMON” that roared throughout the house, was the last straw. You packed up a bag and snuck out of the House of Lamentation. One short, cold walk later, you were standing outside of Purgatory Hall. Simeon was the one to answer the knock at the door.

“Can I stay the night?” you asked sheepishly.

“Of course, come in, come in.” Simeon led you inside. He rubbed your arms.

“Oh, MC, what are you doing here?” Solomon asked.

“I just need to get out of the house tonight. Can I stay here?”

“Oh,” Solomon sighed, “the brothers?”

“The brothers,” you affirmed. Solomon took your bag and set it on a nearby table. He pulled you towards the couch and sat you down softly, rubbing circles into the tops of your hands with his thumbs.

“Well, I’m in the middle of making dinner,” Simeon mentioned. He headed towards the kitchen. “Have you eaten yet?”

“No.”

“Then I’ll set an extra plate at the table.” Simeon smiled and ducked into the kitchen.

Hearing the commotion, Luke and Raphael came out of their rooms. They entertained you with idle chit-chat, and after an amazing dinner, Luke brought out a puzzle for everyone to work on. When it had gotten late and Luke and Raphael had been asleep for over an hour, you began to feel anxious, expecting some kind of debate about who you would room with. You were pleasantly surprised when Solomon dragged a heap of blankets into the living room. Simeon carried in a stack of pillows, and, together, they set up a nest large enough for all three of you. They both sat down with a space for you between them and stared up at you, expectingly.

“Well?” Simeon asked.

“Aren’t you going to join us?” Solomon added.

General Elections 2022 - King of the Beasts Summary

One day, MC mentions that the “Day of the Beloved” is coming while she’s attending a party that the some of the princes (Leon, Clavis, Jin, Silvio, Keith) are holding. Leon explains to Keith and Silvio that it’s a day where people give roses to their loved ones, outside of family, to express their love and gratitude. But there’s also this tradition that comes with this holiday where an exceptionally beautiful rose should be given to your beloved. Keith and Silvio find it interesting. And then Leon asks MC who she’s giving her rose to. And then Gilbert appears as she’s about to answer, saying the rose will be his. Well now everyone else in the room lounge starts arguing over who’s getting her rose. Clavis then proposes a competition to declare the #1 prince. Whoever gets the most roses will get a rose from MC. Oh yeah, Jin goes to inform the rest of his brothers + Sariel.

Now then, let’s see everyone spends their day.

Keith

MC’s in a storage room trying to put a some large crate on a shelf

Keith appears out of nowhere to help her.

Actually, he happened to see her with the crate so he followed after her to help.

MC notices that he’s holding what looks to be about 10 roses. They were given to him by the palace servants that he had helped.

Later on in her room, she arranges the roses in a vase that she had bought on impulse one day and gives it to Keith as thanks for helping her with the crate.

And she’s sure that he will get more roses today so she hopes he will use the vase

And then she adds a rose of her own (not the special one) in the vase, also as a thanks.

Keith is grateful and kisses the rose. The small gesture made MC’s heart race.

Keith questions her red face and she makes up the excuse that it’s hot. Keith then blames it on his large presence crowding the room and tries to leave but MC stops him.

A series of awkward exchanges after Keith says her red face is cute including apologies and reassurances.

Maybe the room really is hot. MC goes to open the window and wishes to herself for more of these kinds of moments with Keith.

Luke

MC goes out to the gardens and finds Luke being a Disney princess, sitting on a bench holding a rabbit and a bird sitting on his shoulder.

Luke was tending to the rabbit’s injuries.

After he’s done, he sets the rabbit down and says "pain, pain, go away” 😭

Next...is MC’s turn? He asks her to take off her shoes so that he can check her heels. As he suspected, they’re red. He had noticed from how she was walking.

He bandages her feet.

And then suddenly kisses her toes “to make the pain go away”

MC’s heart races and Luke’s concerned with her sudden fidgeting.

She says she was just surprised by the spell. He says the one for the rabbit was just your average spell, but hers was a special spell for her only.

Can’t let your guard down around a natural flirt like Luke.

Jin

MC peeks into kitchen after overhearing some happy chatter and sees Jin surrounded by maids.

He came to get roses and they’re all handing him one. They’re all still chatting happily. And thanking him for his help as always.

Jin and MC make eye contact, and he approaches her once the maids leave. Asks if she came to see him, if she’s fallen for him.

She tells him she thought it was unusual for him to take part in the competition.

He says it’s the best sort of event because he gets roses from busty women. MC’s not convinced by his reasoning and just looks at him.

He kabedons her and asks if she wants a kiss from him.

How the hell did he come to that conclusion with the look she was giving him?!

MC pushes him away and some other maids come rushing over, having heard Jin.

Jin’s getting more roses while once again chatting with the maids about issues they brought up to him before.

MC asks if the real reason he came to get roses was to follow up with each maid or given them advice. Jin denies it.

He throws his arm around her shoulders and says it’s to get her to fall for him. MC’s very aware of Jin’s body heat and her heart races. And then she tells herself not to get fooled by Jin.

She asks for the truth and he gives in. She was right. He then offers to lend an ear should she have any troubles too. MC pulls and uno reverse and says she’ll listen to any troubles he has.

He has a big problem, he might be falling in love with MC. MC says she’s leaving if he’s just going to tease her. Jin laughs and goes back to work.

Jin’s always teasing MC, but she always feels comfy around him.

Sariel

MC goes to Sariel’s office and finds it overflowing with roses, but Sariel’s working as usual.

Sariel’s not even a part of the competition but he has so many roses.

He explains they’re from his subordinates. He’s been busy with work so he hasn’t had the time to take care of them.

MC offers to help with arranging them. She trims the roses and reorganizes them in a vase.

She’s thinking that he has roses as the princes. And then says that he has the qualities of a prince, something that she had been thought about before.

Sariel looks at her curiously and asks her what she thinks it means to be a prince. Someone who’s able to win over people by by utilizing their wealth of knowledge, leadership ability, and combat skills.

Sariel didn’t expect such a serious answer, but that just means she takes her job as Belle seriously. He had thought she’d give some lighthearted answer.

As an example, Sariel picks MC up bridal style. The kind of stuff the princes in her favorite stories do. MC thinks back to the conversations she had with him between performing their duties. About the stories she read, the scenes she liked.

MC’s current situation and how close she is to him because her arms are wrapped around his neck make her heart race.

Sariel whispers he can continue if she wants. Face red, she shakes her head no.

That’s too bad, he says. He puts her down with a sigh. Aaand he’s going back to work. MC will too. Back to the real princes.

As she’s about to leave, the roses catch her attention. And then she tells him again that he has the qualities of a prince.

Sariel wouldn’t mind acting like a prince in front of her.

After leaving his office, she couldn’t stop thinking about Sariel for a while.

Yves

While walking down a hallway, MC spies Yves chatting with a servant. After waving the servant off with a smile, he notices MC and the smile drops. He wonders how long she’s been there.

She sees that he’s holding a basket of baked sweets. He’s been giving them out as a thanks for the roses he’s received.

MC comments on how she’s sure the servants are happy to receive sweets made with Yves’ kindness.

He then all but shoves one in front of MC. After she stares at it in confusion, he tells her to take it.

But MC hadn’t given him a rose. He says it’s to thank her, for acknowledging him as a prince.

She thanks him and tells him that while his sweets always make her feel happy, she feels especially happy now.

Blushing, he tells her not to misunderstand his intentions. He’s just living up to the expectations of those that believe in him.

MC likes and respects that about Yves and he’s like “that’s no surprise” and turns away with a sniff. Aww his ears are red.

MC asks if he’s feeling shy. Of course he isn’t, he stutters out.

As if to prove his point, he gets close to MC. He asks if she’s mocking him. She isn’t, she really does think that Yves is amazing. He’s such a hard worker and is always caring about the people around him.

Yves’ expression relaxes and MC feels her heart skip a beat at the determined look on his face. He declares that he’ll be the that will collect the most roses.

Face turning red, she asks if he can back off a bit. Since he’s really close and all.

Yves gasps and quickly distances himself from her, face red. He tells her he’ll be off now.

Watching him walk away, she’s sure that Yves will continue to grow into an amazing prince.

Rio

MC hears some unfamiliar beautiful, unfamiliar sounds coming from the dance hall. Peeking in, she sees Rio playing with a harpsichord with a serious expression.

As if he could hear MC’s thoughts, Rio turns around and runs over to her with a smile.

He’s amazed by “his MC’s” impeccable timing as he’d just finished tuning the harpsichord

MC’s amazed and her happy expression makes him dramatically shield his eyes and back away as if blinded. MC tells him he’s exaggerating.

MC asks if she can take a closer look at the harpsichord and he takes her hand to lead her toward to it.

After she examines the instrument, Rio suggests they play it together. MC’s worried since she doesn’t know how to play but Rio has confidence in her. He’ll teach her.

He plays a short melody and asks her to copy him. He gives her a lot of encouragement and MC says it’s fun to play because RIo’s with her.

The two continue practicing. He then plays an accompaniment to her little tune. And it evolves into a full song.

Looks like MC’s witnessed another side of Rio she never knew about.

Her hand suddenly brushes against his and she pauses, heart racing. Calming herself, she takes a peek at Rio and meets his gaze.

He says that her music sounds as pure as her heart so he’d like to play more. He sits closer to MC and guides her hand for a new tune to try.

He then giggles and pulls away. He just wanted to tease her. As an apology, he’ll play a special song for her.

At this moment, he looked very much like a storybook prince. She couldn’t take her eyes off of him.

Leon

While she’s looking for Leon, she hears some commotion in the garden. Curious, she goes toward the noise.

There’s Leon surrounded by a crowd of people offering their roses to him. Not just servants, but other nobles as well.

As she watches the scene before her, a little girl, rose in hand, is trying to peer over the crowd.

MC approaches the girl and asks if she’s here to give a rose as well. She is, but Leon’s too popular. She tries to help the girl, taking her hand and joining the crowd.

Leon sees her and then looks at the girl next to her. He moves toward them and then kneels in front of the girl. He asks if the rose is for him.

He thanks her for the rose and says he’ll cherish it. He also thanks MC because without her, he might’ve missed the little girl.

When she thanks him for spotting her, he says that he’ll always find her, no matter how many people are around. Those words make her heart race.

He asks if she needed anything from him as well. She says it can be taken cared of later. And then he whispers to her to meet him on the balcony later. Giving her a playful smile, he returns to the crowd.

Later on the balcony, he assures her that he’s not busy anymore since he got all his roses. Except he hasn’t, he realizes. There’s one rose in particular that he hasn’t received yet.

He then pats her head and asks if she has a minute. He asks for her to let him persuade/seduce her for a rose. After she finishes her errand.

MC’s heart couldn’t stop pounding at Leon methods of seduction.

Silvio (sorry, Silvio’s not letting me make his short)

MC returns to her room to take a break and is greeted by an overwhelming scent of roses when she opens the door. Why are there so many roses in her room. Is this even her room?

She’s about to close the door when Silvio emerges from the roses.

Silvio explains that he received too many roses to put in his room so he’s using her room. He’s “sharing”.

She asks if he really received that many roses. Yep, he received them from his business partners in Rhodolite. Ah, so they’re given to him not by individuals, but by companies.

Silvio says he’s pretty much won with the number of roses he’s received, but MC counters that he may have received a large amount per person, but the actual number of individuals isn’t that high. MC believes him to be on the same level as the other princes.

Silvio says the rules were to collect the most roses so her analogy doesn’t fit. So she better give him the special rose.

Well if has that many roses, then she doesn’t need one from her does he? But...she supposes her rose is considered special if he wants to harass Rio with it...

So no rose? MC then says she’s not familiar enough with Silvio to give him a rose.

He’s gonna add more roses to her room. He’s going to suffocate her in roses. He turns his back on her and instructs servants to bring the roses in.

MC comes up with an idea. Slowly approaching the prince from behind, she’s about to jump at him when he turns around and grips the top of her head. He’s not going to let her do that to him again [me: trying to search my memory for the last time MC jumped him].

He then grabs her hand and pins her against the wall, threatening that she won’t get a warning next time. MC hurls insults at him, calling him a low-life and a gaudy demon.

At those words, he’s going to buy 1000 more roses to put in her room. During all of this, servants are still bringing roses in.

He asks if she likes roses. Because they’d look better displayed in her room, and happier.

She tells Silvio that she thinks the roses suit him too, since they’re beautiful like jewels. MC’s taken aback by the soft laugh he lets out at that statement. She liked that laugh, she thinks. And then tells herself to snap out of it.

Unfortunately, Silvio rejects the idea of the roses suiting his room better and will be adding 1000 more roses to hers.

As Silvio goes to leave her room, she reaches out to stop him, but he dodges her hand.

Poor Rio when he saw the state of MC’s room that night.

Nokto

MC enters Nokto’s room and sees it filled with roses. Table, sofa, even the bed. All covered in roses. She can’t even say anything but comment on the number.

They’ve been coming since morning and it’s finally slowed down. Nokto examines the roses in his hands and places them in separate places.

This man knows who each individual rose was given by, and who hasn’t given a him a rose yet. If he doesn’t remember, he won’t be able to thank them later. Better to be on good terms with noblewomen who are useful to him.

MC says that’s rude, but Nokto says they have ulterior motives too with the roses. She says he just doesn’t get it.

Nokto traps her against a wall and asks if she’s able to give roses with pure intentions. If she respects the person, she replies. He’ll give her a gift in return first then. She doesn’t know what it’ll be and she doesn’t want it.

His face gets closer to hers, but as MC’s about to push him away, they’re interrupted by a knock on the door. She’s never going to give this man a rose, she thinks.

Behind the door is an old gardener with a rose in hand. He wants to give Nokto a rose for saving him the other day (holding a step ladder in place while the gardener was using it). Nokto says the man’s overreacting; it would’ve been a bother if he fell in front of the prince.

Nokto thanks the gardener and accepts the rose. Despite his words, his sincerity is reflected in his actions.

MC brings up what he said earlier about receiving roses and Nokto’s like, he might be useful in the future. MC has doubts.

Her chest tingles at the memory of the way he received the rose from the old man, and she’s telling herself that she just wants to understand Nokto more. But the loud beating of her heart says otherwise.

Gilbert

MC’s in the library when Gilbert appears and sits beside her. Thus began his whining as he tries to force MC into giving him a rose. While he understands why, he’s sad about being left out of the competition.

MC explains that since he hates lies, he’d also dislike receiving a rose with disingenuous feelings. Brave of her to admit that she dislikes him, he’ll reward her with a rose. He won’t take no for an answer.

She tries to move away as far as her seat would allow her to, but GIlbert just closes the distance again with a smile. She wants to cry. He says he’s not going to do anything scary, at least not today.

Holding out an empty hand, he asks if the rose is beautiful. He then puts his hands together and a white rose appears. And another appears when he waves a hand over the first one. MC asks if this is what people call “magic”.

Yep. It’s how he gets kids to stop crying. He says MC’s innocent like a child with the ways her eyes lit up just then.

MC’s surprised that he does this for kids. She asks if he has any younger siblings and he replies that he doesn’t. He just likes kids. There’s more to Gilbert than meets the eye.

Gilbert then says that the white roses don’t suit MC. He places MC’s hand over the roses and when it’s removed, they’re replaced by black roses. She says they suit Gilbert more. Therefore they suit MC too, he says. Confusion.

He whispers that he’ll dye her black [me: That’s Sariel’s line].

He takes the black roses and crushes them in his hand and says that fake flowers are tasteless.

The next time he opens his hand, a hair accessory lies on the petals and he asks if it’s more to her liking. He attaches it to her hair. It doesn’t look right, the way he attached it, but he hopes that MC will wear it herself one day.

Gilbert gets up and leaves. He’s left her confused with the “dyed black” comment.

Licht

MC finds Licht sitting down on the balcony, looking out at the city.

She asks if she can sit next to him, but he says she’ll do so regardless of what he says. With a sigh, he removes his jacket and sets it on the ground beside him for her to sit on.

Taking a seat, she asks if he likes the view of the city from the balcony.

The castle’s just too noisy at the moment so he came out here. MC comments on the liveliness on it and wonders what it really means to be a prince. The two sit in silence for a while, thinking over the question.

She then recalls a book she read the other day where the prince in it was very affectionate. Like kissing the back of the hand. Licht says she’s too much of a dreamer.

The next time Licht speaks up, he’s takes her hand and pulls her hand to his lips, but doesn’t actually kiss the back of it. Still, it makes her heart race. He asks if that’s all it takes to act like a prince.

Licht warns her not to be tricked by a bad prince.

He asks for her hand again, but this time to help her up so they can head inside since it’s getting cold.

Even if he doesn’t outwardly express it, each of Licht’s actions is filled with kindness. MC’s thinking he’s more prince-like than the one in the story.

Clavis (his is also so ridiculous that it made this long too)

While reading in her room, MC hears weird noises in the hallway. Rapidly approaching thumps.

She peeks outside for the source and catches Clavis’ attention. He didn’t expect her to come out of her room on her own.

He...he’s on a horse...indoors... [me: Is that Chevalier’s horse?????]

MC heads back in her room and closes the door, speechless and confused. She’s just going to pretend she saw nothing.

Except there’s a knock on her door and it opens with a bang. Clavis is here to sweep her off her feet. The horse? Well white horses come to mind when one thinks of princes.

He asks if she’s fallen for his charms yet. When he gets no response, he ask her to go on a walk with him. Nah, she’s fine, thanks.

Then he’ll just put her on the horse. After all, it’s his job as a prince to escort the princess. He drags her out leads her out like the gentleman he is and lifts her onto the horse. And makes a terrible pun about riding a horse in the castle.

Clavis leads the horse and once they reach an open area, she demands to be let down. But the fun’s just begun, Clavis says.

He then says it must’ve been a dream come true to ride on a white horse with a prince. Yeah, it would have been great if they weren’t still INSIDE the castle.

He asks if she enjoyed herself. He explains that he believes as a prince, it’s his role to entertain. His laugh make MC’s heart thump.

He’s always causing chaos, but he never fails to make people smile and laugh. Truly, it’s what makes him a lovable prince.

Clavis suddenly remembers that he forgot something important. A prince is supposed to ride the white horse with the princess. Else she’d be lonely. He gets on behind her and wraps his arms around her waist.

Her heart races at the lack of distance.

She says she won’t feel lonely. She’ll get off if he wants to ride the horse.

Prince, check. Princess, check. White horse, check. There’s one thing missing. What is it? Spectators of course. They’re going to ride out to the city.

He’s sure that he’ll be returning home with his hands full of roses by the end of it. He assures that he’ll protect her if she gets a scolding later.

She has no choice but to go along with it, but she enjoys the excitement of not knowing what’ll happen next. They set off with smiles.

Chevalier

MC and Chevalier are reading in the rose garden. They both finish their books at the same time. She wonders if it’s alright to chat with him for a bit.

She comments on how it’s calming to be in a quiet place given how lively the castle is at the moment. Chevalier picks up his next book to read. As she considers her next book, he prompts her to continue.

Sometimes the liveliness is enjoyable, but other times it can get annoying. Like riding around the castle with Clavis on a horse. Not to mention the fact that it was Chevalier’s horse. Sariel was NOT happy.

She then recalls what Rio had taught her. Chevalier scoffs and calls it ridiculous.

She’s about to talk about Jin when the sound of multiple footsteps approach. Several bureaucrats line up in front of them. She gets up to leave them to their business but Chevalier pulls her back down.

He looks over the document presented to him and tells them to come back tomorrow.

He returns to his book as they leave and MC stares at him, fascinated by the sight of him and remembering the fact that he's a prince.

He reminds her that she was in the middle of saying something before they were interrupted. He tells her to hurry up and not waste his time.

MC finds herself smiling at the thought of Chevalier paying attention to and listening to her chatter.

As she tries to recall where she left off, Chevalier laughs again. He says she’s probably just going to spout more nonsense anyway.

Looking up at him, her heart races at his softened expression.

Finally remembering, she continues her story about Jin. And for whatever reason, her shoulders relax.

Favorite hotd ships? Might be a silly question lol, but shipping wars are real in this fandom and I would like to hear your opinion. Also, are there ships your really dislike?

I for one like Alicole, Helaemond (controversial in green fandom for some reason but idc), Rhaemond (Aemond and Rhaena would be great together in different circumstances, I'll die on this hill), Aegond (not romantically, but their sibling dynamics is everything). On the other hand, Alysmond, Daemyra or Lucemond are not my cup of tea. As for Rhaenicent, I wasn't really against it, but it seems that the writers are ready to sacrifice the consistency of the story and character arcs in order to push this ship and that's a big no.

I have so many favorite ships! But I’ll talk about my most to least favorites! I’m also with you on Aegond so no explanation on that one<33 post is too long, I’ll put it under the cut!

1. Alicole! Always on top!!! There’s so many unresolved feelings between them. A mutual understanding and affection, they bonded over their resentment for Rhaenyra and it brought them closer and closer to the point that Fabien himself said that Cole wants what Alicent wants. Devotion, unconditional love and loyalty. And it’s so hot that Criston is also her sworn shield👀 he even killed because he thought someone disrespected her😮‍💨

2. Rhaemond! Oh this ship is my newest obsession and quite frankly, one of the most interesting ones! Rhaena and Aemond are both similar in so many aspects; both dragonless and overshadowed by their siblings, and the fact that Rhaena is Aemond’s biggest enemy’s betrothed? Yes. Give me the tension. The hatred. The enemies to lovers. I love them so much together. Grumpy/sunshine mixed with hate to love relationship✨✨

3. Helaegon! Yes, most people hate this ship for right reasons, but me…no, I love them. Yes, they’re toxic. Yes, there’s so many things wrong with their relationship, but I sincerely believe that even though they’re not in love as wife and husband, they love each other as siblings, as the parents of their children. Aegon’s not the best father and husband but I know that there’s a deep rooted affection he holds for his family. And the fact that they’re both victims of Otto’s skims…

4. Helaemond! This one is a popular one, and I love it too! It has such a unique dynamic. The second son who got nothing and craves everything given to his older brother, including their sister. I love how fans headcanon Helaena finding comfort in Aemond’s arms and vic verca.

5. Alysmond! Nah it’s probably because I’m a total Aemond girlie and don’t like seeing him with anyone lol but there’re so many things wrong with this ship. Alys is a middle aged wet nurse, and Aemond is 19, so basically there’re hints of grooming. Or even if not, Aemond takes her as his war prize, which is far from healthy. And there’s been talks about Alys manipulating Aemond into sleeping with her so she can be spared, which is still pretty toxic. It’s a no for me.

6. Rhaenicent! I love Alicent, she’s the apple of my eye, and I’m neutral with Rhaenyra, but it’s just not my thing. I like them as friends and with other people lol.

7. Daemyra! They’re both very very sexy, but I don’t like Daemon at all😭 grooming, manipulation, isolating Rhaenyra, abusive behavior… I think Rhaenyra deserves much better! (She deserves Harwin)

8. Lucemond… I can tolerate any other ship but this. Cheers to people who like them together, but it’s a very hard no for me. Luke is a child, a minor, and shipping him with an adult… yup. But also, I don’t think Aemond can ever find love for him in his heart, he took his freaking eye! And we saw how Vhagar chewed Luke so…

1) What would their social media page/activity be like (this one was the hardest for me)

Jace: One account, probably only uses it for family, a second account for work/professional life.

Luke: three accounts probably, one for family stuff that is loaded with memes and the most generic shit, one for relationship stuff and the occasional saucy selfie, and one account dedicated to Arrax.

JaceLuke: the most obnoxious couple shit ever. Pics of them holding hands. It would look like a Pinterest board 😭. Also so many doggie pictures!!!

6) Psychological headcanons (tastes, fears, talents, regrets, how they deal with anger, just anything that comes to mind on the topic)

Jace: Tastes; blood. Fears; not living up to expectations/being a disappointment. Dealing with anger; tries to find healthy outlets, riding his dragon, training, coping with humor (i.e. returning to King’s Landing and automatically finding a memory to laugh about rather than dwelling on people staring at them). Extra; Daddy issues. Problems with authority. High key the father figure to his brothers. Eldest daughter coded.

Luke: Tastes; salt. Fears; responsibility, death (he’s woefully aware of his own mortality). Dealing with anger; king of bottling things up, ✨avoidance✨ (if he doesn’t acknowledge bad things, they can’t get him 😌✊). Extra; gets nosebleeds in dry air. Hates the color blue.

JaceLuke: Tastes; each other. Fears; losing one another, disappointing Rhaenyra, political marriages 😖. Dealing with anger; if they’re mad at each other, they’d sulk until they get over it, Jace is the oldest - he is the king of being the bigger man and is usually the one to take the first step in mending things, usually with sweets of a king. If they’re mad at someone else, best believe they’re talking shit until one can make the other laugh.

9) Headcanons about their past

Jace: Reason his hair looks different (no I don’t wanna talk about the wig) is because he refuses to look like anyone else, Jace wants to be judged on his own merits - not on him mother’s and definitely not on his father(s). This is a habit he came into when he was young. He ‘cuts’ it to look different. (Don’t @ me, I have curly hair, I know that’s not how it ‘works’).

Luke: Loved ghost stories, would squeal and leap beneath blankets and adored the whole chilling experience. That wore off after too many adults died.

JaceLuke: they used to sneak into each other’s rooms at night after moving to Dragonstone. As kids they would play Ye Olde version of house and pretend Jace was the father, Luke was the mother, and Joff was their baby. Not in relation to them as a couple, but this applies to them both: they’re 🗣️ good 🗣️ swimmers 🗣️ - Laenor actually loved spending time with his boys, and absolutely taught all of them how to swim.

the kid gets used to how big the von hagen estate is and it's their "normal", so when they went on a playdate once with a friend in preschool or kindergarten they went "why is your house so small 😐" and rosa had to immediately put her hand over their mouth like 😁 "sorry about that" while marius holds back a laugh

marius was a headache to deal with before and while they were dating. to put it very kindly, he's more mature now, but rosa's faced with their child- who is pretty much a carbon copy of the pax ceo. a mini marius.

marirosa's child has rosa's softer features and her eyes, but they have marius' hair colour. it's sometimes frightening to see the cheeky devilish smile which you're used to seeing on marius' face

their ability to intimidate is actually from watching old clips of rosa’s court appearances and when watching rosa banter with marius

rosa has to admit that it can get a little bit unsettling when she sees her child just glowering in the corner because of some disagreement with a friend

she,, tries to discourage this behaviour as much as possible,,,,

then one day their child tells them that they have an s/o

rosa’s like “aww they’ve found someone! i’m so proud” but vyn’s immediately suspicious (though you really can’t tell unless you look carefully at his eyes)

when he meets his child's s/o for the first time he's probably going to make them feel somewhat awkward or uncomfortable because of his attention being on them.

he makes light conversation, asking for their interests and hobbies, etc but—

he’s actually sitting there and he’s fuckin psychoanalysing them... mentally noting on their habits, body language, their "micro-expressions", etc— mans is scary...

will probably find some dirt on the s/o somehow. you know. just in case they're actually a bad person or if the relationship doesn't work... he can make their reputation go up in flames!

ahem. moving on~

when he’s done with all of these tests he’ll finally warm up to them more.

it might be hard for the s/o at first because they felt that mr. richter was just really elegant and perfect and smart, so they try to act as proper as they can around him and are really polite— it takes a while for them to be more casual 😭

Please feel free to tell me to stop sending these if you’re bored of them but I’m having fun talking about cute head canons, so if you want me to stop sending because you’re too busy or anything you can totally say so and I won’t be offended!) I loved what you added about Bobby and Luke and their cute kisses 😭 I love the idea that maybe Bobby has added a little to the group as well as them rubbing off on him? And like it’s shown a little in that before they were playing a simple game of truth or dare and even that ended in a catastrophe because they were just total opposites but after that they’re able to meet in the middle a little more and it’s the start of that friendship??? Maybe Luke says they should ask back and forth like the guys vs Bobby because they realised that they all know each other so well that there was never any point of them asking anything serious or anything because they already knew everything about each other? Like… they were all there for every embarrassing moment or problem that came up in each other’s life so there was no point asking like “who was your first kiss?” Because they had grown up together so they already knew the answer? But they realise that Bobby doesn’t! So they’re just asking back and forth cute or funny questions and stuff, and the guys are all really shocked at Bobby’s answers haha. They’re like “have you ever been drunk?” And are staring like 😯 at him as he tells all of his crazy drunk stories hahaha! And Bobby clearly wants more insight into their lives because he has been thinking how crazy their friendship is all night! And Bobby is equally as shocked to hear that… Luke’s parents aren’t at all shocked or annoyed when they see Alex or Reggie curled up in his bed on a Friday night because they’re so used to it, because Bobby’s parents would go crazy! And Bobby asks if they’ve ever seen each other naked and Reggie says very seriously like it makes total sense “Alex has a pool” and Bobby is like “……….so you…….. skinny dip?” And they’re laughing a ton like “NO!” And Luke explains that they always have to get changed in what Alex’s mom calls the pool house but is really just a shed lol, and Bobby is laughing and the guys are laughing and they’re all just having fun!

awwwww omg i love the idea of Bobby like, corrupting them a little bit and in return they soften him up 🥺

like Luke and Reggie are totally into the idea of doing things that are a little bit bad while Alex is like “no guys we still shouldn’t do that” and Bobby’s like “i mean... Alex is right” bc even though he’s done this stuff it doesn’t mean it was a good idea or fun 100% of the time and maybe Alex was still skeptical of Bobby bc of what happened earlier but when Bobby takes his side it makes Alex think ok maybe he’s not so bad!

but of course you KNOW Luke and Reggie would still wanna try doing some of the dumb stuff that Bobby’s already done bc they’re himbos to the core and Luke is still desperate to impress Bobby (even though you know Bobby doesn’t need to be impressed, he’s totally head over heels for this dumb boy).

and i just looove the idea of all of them getting to know Bobby and vice versa and staying up like all night asking all sorts of dumb questions until they’re all like soooo tired they can hardly keep their eyes open and then in the morning when Luke’s mom wakes them up with the smell of pancakes or something Bobby feels even more embarrassed bc he’s definitely never been taken care of by someone else’s mom like this and he doesn’t really know how to handle it!

but then Luke pulls him into the chair next to his and holds his hand under the table and squeezes it every time Bobby starts looking like he might spin out.

because like, every time he’s ever spent the night at another friend’s house it’s basically just been like he wakes up, grabs whatever stuff he’d discarded the night before, and then leaves. but with these guys, the sleepover doesn’t end just because they woke up. they all stick around at the Patterson’s house and help tidy up the pillows and blankets and stuff and then like around midday Bobby’s so sure that Luke’s parents are going to kick them out anytime but then Reggie suggests they go to the pier or something and hang out some more and to Bobby’s total surprise Luke’s parents even offer to give them all a ride???

oh how can i pick just one thing i love absolutely everything about them!! sometimes im just like so in awe of how perfect steroline is in every single way. like no ship can ever top this level of perfection for me. also i meant for this to be short but i have so many feelings about them this turned out to be the longest answer ever.

i love the pilot. she jokes about marrying him and it’s a cute offhand comment and look where we are 8 seasons later. he tells her they’ll never happen in the pilot. i love the foreshadowing + irony.

i love the development… strangers to acquaintances to friends to best friends to secretly crushing on each other to questioning their relationship and fighting to falling in love to dating to married to vowing to love each other forever in the final minutes of the show.

i love that they really legitimately had the best friend stage. season 2, 4 bad 5 they were always hanging out and talking and protecting and defending each other and enjoyed being around each other so much and it was so beautiful to watch. they were in relationships and fully supported each others. they ranted to each other and hyped each other up. they were always there for each other, holding the other as they cried, comforting each other, sharing each others pain, or just hanging out together every single night drinking and talking. they were each others best friend, each others person for years even when they were in love with other people. they were always a team, no questions asked, from the day after she became a vampire it was always stefan and caroline on the same side no matter what the situation was.

i love that they’ve never laid a hand on each other, they’ve never said a bad word about each other (no other ship can claim that. caroline’s other best frinds and exes have all criticised her and said shit about her to her face but stefan has never.) and they’ve always protected each other. stefan saved her life from damon, logan, vampires, werewolves. caroline nearly jumped into a well of vervain to save stefan, she killed luke so liv would bring stefan back, she almost killed the travellers when they were torturing him. stefan gave himself away when he didn’t kiss her back because he couldn’t take advantage of her. he sold his soul to the devil for her. she decided to help him with cade’s task because they were in it together, even though that meant blood on her hands. they’re so good to each other. they’ve literally never even lied to each other once (other than stefan saying you and me it’s not going to happen in the pilot :’) they see each other as equals and partners and treat each other with so much respect and care it’s amazing.

i love their relationship over the course of the show omg. stefan saved caroline from damon at the start of the show and saved her vampire life from him too and taught her about vampirism it’s so beautiful i cry. and she was his sober sponsor and kept the ripper at bay when he had amnesia. i love their parallels and how they’ve developed, everything from dancing to hugging to their attitudes about love and even tiny things like stefan looking at caroline through her porch window. everything about them was so carefully written you can find a billion parallels and i love it so much

i love how they had these unbelievably non platonic scenes where they were literally calling each other hot and cuddling and caressing each others cheeks and slow dancing and falling asleep together. and like they were officially strictly best friends then but they were also canonically jealous when the other was with someone else. i LOVE that they were just casually slow dancing and she told him he’ll find love again?? and then he did with her??? what the hell 😭😭 what kinda foreshadowing….? and other characters picked up on it but they stayed oblivious. elena told them they look good together. damon mocked tyler about how stefan and caroline are more than friends. katherine asked if they’ve slept together and told matt to find out if caroline liked him. and lexi the steroline queen confronted stefan about how he stayed in town only for her and he hadn’t even been on his first date yet and stefan was like ????. they were the Clueless Bffs In Love trope and i love it

i love how they’re mirrors of each other. everything from the way they were turned to their relationships. there was the innocent human love (valerie, matt), the abusive vampire who fed on them and compelled them and raped them (katherine, damon), the “true love” who broke their heart (elena, tyler), the enemy they had a one night stand with (rebekah, klaus), the attempt at normalcy (ivy, jesse), the one they were settling for when they thought they were done (valerie, alaric). even their personalities: they’re noble and kind. they’re good vampires. they’re loyal and compassionate. their brand of vampirism is totally different from the vampires damon and elena are. for both of them vampirism magnified their good traits and that’s what makes them heroes.

but i love the differences that allow them to complement each other so perfectly. broody and bubbly, introverted and extroverted, writer and singer. it makes them even more perfectly balanced. they work together so well that they literally spent most of their NO HUMANITY PHASE being evil together and hunting and having sex. and their differences make them so precious to each other. their personalities naturally ensure the others insecurities never pop up. the fight at the hospital which is one of my favourite scenes ever where she lists why she liked him and stefan is shook™ because he can’t imagine why and how and needs her to explain it to him. i love how many times caroline has just been herself around stefan. she calls herself a control freak but never in a self deprecating way because unlike her other friends who give her shit for it stefan isn’t bothered. how many times she’s said he can convince her she isn’t crazy with just one look or phone call. stefan never had to worry about caroline leaving him for damon like the petrova doppelgangers did. caroline helps stefan stay sober with just her words. stefan is the one person caroline never worries about feeling excluded with because we’ve seen the way she was around her childhood friends and she’s never like that with stefan because he gives her no reason to be. their personalities are perfect together, they don’t judge each other, and comforting each other is second nature and they do it best. stefan was the one who cheered caroline up when she felt horrible about sleeping with klaus. stefan admitted caroline was the only one who would sit with him and let him cry. stefan was the one who was there for her during her mom’s cancer and made her feel better and laugh and held her as she cried and went with her wherever she needed to go. and caroline’s presence was enough for stefan to focus on living his life instead of spiralling because he’d lost damon again, enough for him to go through with the proposal he’d planned even though sarah died that day, because he just wanted to marry her. their differences allow them to not only fully accept each other in a way that no one else does, but love each other’s flaws. caroline loves stefan’s seriousness and brooding. stefan loves caroline’s neuroticism and optimism.

i love their scenes and how soft they are especially after they were clearly in love. them laughing when they were lying on the forest floor. gazing at each other and hugging after they found the bear. stefan the vampire being unable to answer his phone because he was holding 1 box. caroline blushing when she saw stefan fixing the wires. how nervous they were after their first kiss. stefan at the rave cupping her cheek and asking her to come back. them holding hands and being honest about their feelings at alarics wedding. stefan saying he’ll wait for her to heal. caroline finally kissing him after the town evacuated. stefan’s speech about how much history they have. their i love yous over the phone. stefan being there for her during her pregnancy and caroline being there for him after the phoenix stone, getting each other fries or holding each other late at night when they couldnt sleep. stefan looking like his heart was breaking when he left her to keep her babies safe. the fact that stefan wrote her letters for years. the way they looked at each other when they saw each other again after years. how stefan went from someone tired of running to ready to run forever when caroline was in danger. them once again being honest and him saying he couldn’t let anything happen to her and caroline saying he hurt her and broke her heart. how quickly they got back together and kissed outside the armoury because they’re it for each other and best friends and always in love. and 8x01 was just utter perfection with the sex scene and they were so domestic and loving with stefan stroking her hair as she slept and their banter as they got ready and the forehead kiss and the hug and caroline asking if she could move in. i love how 1 day after caroline indicated she was all in, stefan asked her to marry him. he was breaking walls in his home for a room for her children. how stefan didn’t even sleep in his bed because caroline wasn’t there. they were literally cuddling while cooking breakfast. how they were at the carnival, laughing while playing bumper cars, reminiscing about how he saved her life and caroline telling him she’ll keep saving his if she has to. how when caroline gave the ring back stefan put zero obligations on her and heard her out and gave her space. how he sold his soul to the devil for her children. how his last wish was a day with her and the last thing he did was kiss her under the mistletoe. how ripper asked caroline to dance. how she told him over and over she’s not going anywhere and will hell him and get him back. how she hugged him after he turned human and that was the one moment he felt better. how stefan came back to life for her. how he was going to take a picture of them with him. how he fell to his knees and asked her to marry him thrice and gave the most beautiful speech after he figured it out. how she fell to her knees too. how he called valerie so caroline could have her only family left at a wedding her parents and best friends couldn’t attend. how they GOT MARRIED. i loved their vows because they talked about their whole relationship and how beautifully it developed and how much they appreciate each other and how she will remember forever and he pledged his life to her forever, both immortal and mortal. and the heartbreaking tragic finale with forbes hyphen salvatore, the goodbye kiss, the “i will love you forever”s and the funeral and the “ill see him again” that ripped our hearts out.

how they started like love rosie and ended like titanic.

and i love how they fit into tvd story-wise. steroline was a breath of fresh air in the tired stale love triangle trope in a show that was known primarily for the “compelling” love triangle. tvd was synonymous with team damon or team stefan back then. from day 1 it was the biggest triangle on tv that divided fans so sharply. but steroline changed that. here we have guy #1, the hero, the good one, the noble one, allowed to move on completely, realistically as the og couple fell out of love. and it was amazing that he fell in love with another main, his best friend, HER best friend. it was beautifully developed and never presented as inferior or settling (despite what sad fandoms say). it was so healthy and pure and real for a spn show with ships like de and kc. it was two genuine best friends who only ever treated each other with love and kindness, after years of being there for each other and supporting each other and scenes that could be interpreted as foreshadowing future romance, one day looking at e/o and realising along the way they fell in love with each other. and this ship was carefully developed, slowburn, not planned from the pilot, and ENDGAME. it was original and new and a fuck you to the entire trope. it was so refreshing and real and beautiful to witness and im so glad that tvd did something different. they made a realistic and healthy and slowburn romance endgame after a big and famous triangle. they did what was best for stefan and caroline. instead of shoving them in fan favourite ships with his cheating ex or her abusive stalker, they allowed them to develop naturally and fall in love with each other. it was organic and careful and the roots were there right from the pilot and every scene of theirs after. it’s amazing.

so yeah i love steroline. in every single way they’re better than true love. they’re the ultimate best friends to lovers, the healthiest supernatural ship i’ve ever seen, they have the best development i’ve ever seen, they’re so soft and pure and no other ship will ever even come close.
