Bronze Etruscan mirror. Mirrors such as this were given to women as wedding gifts. The engraving shows a young woman and a man playing a board game. The inscription next to the woman says: "I think I am going to win."

And every building is a sacred temple and/or a burial vault. 🙄
🤣
Wow. Not being a knitter, I never would have thought of that. I just thought they were some kind of game piece.

TJ: Sooo... you've got the only map to the ancient artefacts that could ruin the world...?
Alucard: Yes
TJ: And noone else have them? Not the bad guys, just you?
Alucard: Yes
TJ: And you can only find it with this?
Alucard: Yes... again.
TJ: *grabs the map and burns it*
Alucard:
Seras: To be fair, this isn't a bad thing and your own fault, master...
Alucard: She burned it... she fucking- she fucking burned it...

Nice finds. I wonder if they were desacralised or if time simply took its toll.

The Wolf and Romulus and Remus Mosaic, Roman Aldborough, North Yorkshire, 300-400CE, Leeds City Museum.
This panel formed the centrepiece of a large mosaic floor constructed in the Roman town of Isurium Brigantum, now Aldborough in North Yorkshire. The mosaic depicts the legend of Romulus and Remus. They were abandoned in the River Tiber but washed ashore where they were fed by a she-wolf.
