absolutely delightful the way FCG and FRIDA's relationship is intensifying at such a ridiculous rate, and how it is equally the fault of christian's "i came here to romance a PC and i wont stop until matt kicks us off the table" enthusiasm, and sam 'shit stirrer' riegel's overwhelming love of Continuing The Bit, helped in no small part by everyone around them recognising the comedic goldmine that is this dynamic and providing them with fodder at every opportunity (see imogen telling FCG that married people wear rings)

Imagine this as the biggest car in human history ok? Also there's not really a timepoint for this so pretend they all like fell into a time portal and this is where they are now

Qui-Gon: Has the map, doesn't know how to read it

Obi-Wan: Had to take the map from qui-gon, refused to talk afterwards

Padme: The only person they could trust with driving

Ahsoka: In charge of the music

Anakin: Is only here in case the car breaks down, doesn't really talk to anyone the whole ride except for "yeah"s and "nah"s

Yoda: Sleeps the whole ride, they accidentally leave him in the car more than once

Luke: Insists on trying to get everyone to play games but it is not working

Leia: Is the only other person who tried to play the car games but after a very heated round of I spy, they are now banned forever

Han: Keeps on talking and half the people are NOT into it

Rey: Really into talking with Han

Ben: Just been listening to music on his phone and doesn't know what's happening, he doesn't care

Finn: The only normal person in this car other than Padme but she checked out by the first 10 minutes so he's pretty much alone

Poe: In charge of the snacks but no one likes the ones he picked

friendly reminder that yes I still want an animated series set between tpm and aotc focused on the jedi, I just think it would be really fun and there's a lot to explore

#listen i spent a good few years clowning for an obi wan series set after rots #now that that's done it's only fair for me to continue clowning for more obi-wan content set after tpm #and to be clear this could be like an anthology type series #where we get episodes focused on new characters that we haven't seen before #AND episodes focused on the characters we know and love #because yes i'd love to see obi-wan and anakin in those early days #i'd love to see the immediate aftermath of tpm especially with what happened with dooku and yaddle taken into consideration #i'd love to see padme starting out in the senate and seeing just how broken things are #i'd love to see palpatine making slow deliberate moves in the background that shift things closer and closer to a breaking point #(not enough for any characters to notice but enough for the audience to be like. really keyed into it)#i'd love to see the jedi vibing in peacetime and doing good things #i just. pretty pleaseeeee ill take any crumbs from the counselling au 🥺🥺 (also love the new kofi as always vos at the crime scene)

the next chapter of the couples counseling au is going to be the one where they're instructed to hold hands!! and the counselor tells them to try to treasure little intimacies (ie. cooking together, holding hands, listening to the same song at the same time, napping together)

but also because it's told from anakin's pov it's going to involve more padmé - specifically padmé being justifiably hurt that she was once again waiting for anakin

it's gonna be interesting i think trying to write this chapter and strike a different tone than a more perfect union, when both padmés are upset about the same thing and both anakins have the same priorities (obi-wan first). it's just that couples counseling au anakin is less stupid but more oblivious almost - he's not going to come to the realization as quickly that he's in love with obi-wan, and no one's gonna handhold him through it. in all, it's a much more serious tone than a more perfect union of course, but there are enough similarities (basically 'kit's corner on a fall of anidala and rise of obikin in story format' that i'm probably going to struggle a little bit to keep the tone right in couples counseling au
