If you love Jack Thompson fics, you should read The Midnight Hours, by MelyndaR. It's my favorite Agent Carter fanfic ever.
Thompson forms an unlikely friendship with Ana Jarvis through late-night drinking and shared secrets while they're both recovering from gunshot wounds post-season 2.
It's beautiful and sweet and explores what could have been a fascinating dynamic that we never got to see in the show, and I recommend it to everyone in the fandom whenever the topic of fic recs comes up.
OH MY GOD THAT SOUNDS AMAZING!!!! I love Ana so much and now that you've said this I've realised how much I NEED to see a conversation between post-redemption (?) Jack and Ana!!!! UGH TYSM FOR RECOMMENDING THIS TO ME 🫶💕💕

just wanted to pop by and say, I've been reading the Twisted series nowadays (by Ana Huang). So far only read the first 2, but I can already say Twisted Games is my favourite one like OMG THE WAY IT MADE ME DEEP IN MY FEELS😭 I already got the 3rd & 4th book but won't be reading yet bcuz well, exams🥲 but sensing the plot I can't tell if it'll change or if Bridget & Rhys will still be my top fave💓💓💓

Songs of The Unbroken: obv. #1. It's my 77 Chapter, Completed Finan x OC fic that follows along with the plot of TLK from S2 - S5 ft my baby OC: Sigrid Kjartansdottir. The older half sister of our favorite rat lemon boy, Citrus - I mean Sihtric. If you like all of the angst and 3 years of really stupid people pining over each other this is the fic for you. Working on the sequel currently: Children of the Unbroken!
Lost Voices: this is my current baby!!! A Sihtric x OC fic about a girl named Rosaline Blaine who accidentally gets yeeted through time with nothing but her iPod. Friends to lovers, full of music references, may be an actual comedy idk this fic writes itself lmao
The For My Sisters Series: this is actually two separate fics (and one I have yet to finish because I am a clown) but these fics are about my OC Sigrid and my friends OCs, Lucinda (@emilyhufflepufftlk ), Saegyth (@lauwrite1225) and Cwen (@solinarimoon ) who here are sisters who've traveled to England from Frankia to find peace with their father, Frode. 'might have to take a loss' on AO3
a buddie fanfic by waferkya, a podfic read by ToughPaperRound (rated T, 9k, ~60 minutes) in which Eddie Diaz is confused and bemused by how he feels whilst going on perfectly nice dates.

Thank you to author waferkya for permitting this recording, and being so enthusiastic, and then being so patient when the world went awry. This fic is not even my very favouritest of their 9-1-1 fics but it was just right for a recording. At 9k words, it makes a 'tape' of around an hour long.

Thank you to my family for buggering off for long enough that I thought to record this in one sitting. Hoorah! This is #10 in my 911 podfic series on AO3 and the longest so far. It has a sense of fun about it that I really enjoyed and I'm sure you will too, whether you choose to read or to listen.

my life is full of WEIRD SHIT lately and so i’m going to tell you about it.
so last week, my parents and my aunt and uncle took me to vegas to celebrate my 21st (yes, my parents lol; life is weird when you are the oldest child, cousin, grandchild, etc on BOTH sides of your family) and on the plane ride there, i watched a spn episode called “criss angel is a douchebag.” i didn’t know who that was but figured he was an irl magician bc the episode had magicians in it. i don’t think much more about it. then we get to vegas, and there is a GIANT poster advertising criss angel’s magic show there! WEIRD! and the my aunt tells me we’re going to see his show that night!! WACKY COINCIDENCE
i’m in dc now because i’m interning here and i had my first day on thursday. an hour in, another intern is taking me on a tour of the building, and the first person i see is- i kid you not- george fucking santos. i like gave myself whiplash from not believing my own eyes lmao. and so now im going “oh shit, that’s like… a bad omen! the first politician i see is GEORGE SANTOS???” and everyone i talk to is like “no! it’s good, it means your internship will be exciting!” day goes on, and sure enough, it goes downhill. throat starts to hurt, they can’t set up my email for some reason, my end date on my badge is wrong, i can’t get into the computer, my shoes are TEARING into my heals… just not good. i’d previously thought that my throat hurt because of all the wildfire smoke, but when i get back to where i’m staying, i started to feel a bit of a fever coming on and i couldn’t stop coughing. one trip on the metro later to buy some tests and food (during which i probably made the security guards think i was a delirious druggie), i find out i have COVID. point is, i was right, george santos is bad fucking news in more ways than one and if you are an intern on the hill, watch your back lmao
then my parents drove down to dc to move my stuff into my apartment that i was supposed to move into over the weekend and which i of course no longer can bc i have covid, and my mom texts me saying my dad has made them stop to see the stairs from the exorcist. i think that’s hilarious, and don’t think much more of it. today i decide, hey, i have time and i’m feeling a little less like i’ve been beaten with a club and had my throat mauled by cats, i’ll watch ghosted! little did i know that THE MOVIE STARTS IN DC AND THE MAIN CHARACTERS RACE EACH OTHER UP THE EXORCIST STAIRCASE WITHIN THE FIRST 10 MINUTES OF THE MOVIE.

My ult bias, it makes sense that there were too many to fit into one list. All of these authors capture the essence of my favourite tsundere king, check these stories out and show them some love.
Pause by @whatifyoulivelikethat. Music producer MYG x reader, domestic abuse. The first time I ever slid into an author's DMs was after I read this, to let them know how much I loved this story. It's unexpected, and profoundly beautiful, and re-reading it now takes me back to where I was when I first read it.
Like Butter by @bonvoyagenoona. Photographers MYG x reader, director KNJ x reader. Set in the setting of a magazine production team, and featuring a very sexy scene with our fave maknae and a scheming Park Jimin.
Countermelody by @bonvoyagenoona. Producer MYG x shopgirl/musician reader. A gorgeously rendered enemies to lovers story that's as much about life, love, new starts, self belief as it is about Min Yoongi and his beanie. IYKYK.
Moonlit throne by @hobidreams.Joseon king Yoongi x reader, historical AU. The seminal Joseon dynasty story told in a non-linear timeline with a perfectly characterised Yoongi and incredible attention to detail.
Three Tangerines by @kithtaehyung. Fuckboy Yoongi x f! reader, brother's best friend AU. 3tan makes it onto almost every fic rec list I've seen, and deservedly so - the dialogue slaps, the writing's sharp and this Yoongi's irresistible.
Bet on it by @minisugakoobies. Quizzers Yoongi x reader, featuring a super competitive reader and Yoongi with a blonde undercut. Hot, fun and hilarious.
Perpetual Datejust by @jiminrings. Model Yoongi x manager reader. A very sweet, romantic read, with a devoted reader and a healthy dose of angst.
Sodium Vapor by @miscelunaaa. Yoongi x f! reader. An atmospheric, wistful read about a chance meeting that also has Em's signature raw honesty.
Man of the year by @raplinesmoon. Single dad Yoongi x gn reader. A sweet, heartwarming read, and Yoongi's relationship with his daughter is adorable.
Look down on me like that by @here2bbtstrash. Co-workers Yoongi x reader, enemies to lovers. There's nothing better than Yoongi being an asshole, and he's written so perfectly here, as are reader and cute and endearing babystarcandy JK.
Teardrop by @hesperantha. Yoongi x reader, road trip AU. I read sometimes just for the pleasure of how a writer puts words to paper, and this is one of those stories - there are so many truths woven into the words, subtle and beautiful.
Moving day (Explicit) by @here2bbtstrash. Yoongi x reader, domestic AU. Sweet, sexy smut involving Yoongi tying up his hair. I repeat, Yoongi tying up his hair. The visual still gives me chills.
Proof by @illneverrecover. Yoongi x reader, strangers to lovers. A confident reader approaches an equally confident, sexy Yoongi with the added bonus of Joon and Jin as supportive besties.
Quiet Kitten by @thatlongspringnight. Professor Yoongi x college student reader - a smutty read with a fiercely sexy, stern Professor Min.
Straight Shooter MYG x reader, cyberpunk AU by @snackhobi. A perfectly characterised Yoongi, a dystopian futuristic setting and a subtle and gorgeous love story that I've read and re-read more times than I can say. The story that pulled me into BTS fanfic that I still have so much love for now.
Punch Drunk MYG x reader, boxer AU by @joonbird. From memory there's an open ending but that hasn't stopped me from re-reading. A troubled Yoongi's depicted so beautifully here.
Greedy MYG x reader, mafia AU by @xjoonchildx. Ana knows how much I love this - this Yoongi breaks my heart every time and I love how the relationship develops between him and reader.
Close Call by @xjoonchildx - a follow up to Greedy that's just as stunning as the OG story. I can't tell you how much I love this. Yoongi's a provider, and he takes care of his own, and there's nothing sexier.
All the wrong places by @mrworldwideshoulders. Yoongi x reader, strangers to lovers, in progress. An intriguingly irritable Yoongi covers the tab for reader at a bar.
Interlude: Sundown by @eoieopda. Part of the Darksided series, featuring Yoongi x reader in an established relationship. Hot, smutty, intimate goodness.
Angel by @sailoryooons. Mafia Yoongi x sex worker reader. I started reading this and couldn't stop - the writing's sharp and riveting and the pacing is perfect. A sexy, smutty, captivating read with a sexy, dangerous Yoongi.
