there’s something so special about season one of too many spirits. it was the middle of a pandemic. ryan’s wearing a shirt with his 5 year old self portrait. steven actually tried to make decent drinks. boobs_69_420 made their first appearance. ryan laughing like a kettle.

Idk is anyone has talked about this, but I think the cat-like whiskers on Sora are so interesting.

It’s obvious to anyone who watched the show that the people in Imperium have these facial markings/tattoos.

We don’t know when or why they get them (maybe it’s based on their jobs or social standing or just for looks)

And when Sora was little she didn’t have any.

But what’s interesting, aside from her choosing to get focal markings later in her life, is how they look.

Unlike the people in Imperium, who’s markings are very technical and sharp, hers are curved.

They’re softer and end in points instead of the usual blunt edges.

I feel like this is really important to her character. While she did run away and rejects what they’re doing, she still sees it as her home.

But she’s picking and choosing the pieces of her past that she wants to embrace.

Even her name: Sora. They explicitly say that it is the Imperium word for orphan.

If you grew up with Goosebumps, do yourself a favor and go check out the new Goosebumps series. Because it has an overarching narrative it's very different, but I'm kind of in love with it.

This show has everything.

- Classic Goosebumps stories retold with care

- Justin Long doing the absolute most. I had no idea he had so much physical comedy in him

- Trans actors playing canonically, openly, on screen gay characters

- Hardcore 90s grunge nostalgia

- Plausible villains with plans that make sense, even if they involve ritual sacrifice

- Quickly resolved love triangles

- Goo that smells like watermelon Jolly Ranchers

And so much more. Honestly, if you like campy horror-lite nonsense go find this. It's on Disney and Hulu (or probably your preferred port of call 🏴‍☠️) and it's really fun.

It irks me how some hard-core buddie fans are treating Buck and Tommy's relationship. And not just that, all of Buck's exes. And some of Eddie's too.

I mean, I get it to a certain degree, like they weren't perfect. There were issues, but none of them were the devil incarnate some fans portray them as.

Like Ali always gets shit for breaking up when she did, but they weren't together that long. And Tatiana did basically the same thing with Chim and no one cares about that in comparison.

Or if we take a look at Eddie's exes, Ana gets so much hate. The "Ana Flores Bashing" tag is one of the first things you get when looking for 911 fanfic. Seriously, how is it her fault that Eddie was having panic attacks. I don't know, in fanfic she's so often portrayed as this emotionally abusive, religious zealot obsessed with being Chris's mom? I don't remember her ever being that pushy in canon. Or pushy in general. She and eddie just weren't the best at communicating their issues.

Most of the relationships buck and eddie have had in the past didn't pan out because didn't communicate properly and I mean nit every relationship is gonna be this big perfect romance realistically speaking.

Another thing not necessarily about exes is the way the same people treat the sperm donor thing. It rubs me the wrong way. The way it's treated like this huge betrayal on Buck's end. It was his decision and his decision only. It's his body/bodily fluids.

Just the way they hate everyone "who comes between" Buddie. You don't have to demonise every other love interest they ever had, just because you ship two characters.

why are they going so hard on the eddieana stuff in 6b if not to remind us of the last time eddie tried and failed to date? buck being a teacher in the coma dream, ana being an english teacher; buck getting math powers, ana teaching eddie math on their date; buck baking cookies with chris and getting him all to himself, ana baking muffins with chris during the blackout and being asked to leave; the similar colour palette of the costuming to the muffin scene, buck and ana in light blue, eddie in a green henley; ana being introduced in the same episode as an embarrassing date call, buck and eddie being two of the three responders to the embarrassing vibrator emergency; sorry about the mess i guess its your mess now, i'm the guy with the answers i kind of like it.

opinion no one wants to hear perhaps but until i see everything in full you couldn't catch me dead banking on marisol leaving the show by a certain episode. as a veteran i have served my time in the trenches predicting break-ups by xyz episode just for that to not happen
