Percy getting picked up from school by his godly family
Good:Poseidon or Triton, typical dad and brother behavior. a bit overdone but ultimately very wholesome
Better: Amphitrite, the drama of getting picked up by your dad’s wife and knowing that your dad cheated on her with your mom. Is she kind? is she mad at Percy or his mom because of Poseidon cheating on her? Did Poseidon make her do this? Does she adore Percy? Does she get along with Sally? Does she defend Percy when a teacher accuses him of being a delinquent?
Mind blowing: Nerites. The absolute chaos of Poseidon’s boy toy and charioteer rocking up to Percy’s school in Poseidon’s chariot (it looks like blue luxury sports car) with his and Poseidon’s sort of kid Anteros in the back seat. A teacher asks how Nerites is related to Percy and he just says that he is dating Percy’s father (the teacher met amphitrite last week). Bonus points if this is the first time Percy meets Nerites and was unaware that Poseidon was bisexual. Bonus bonus points if it’s before Percy and Annabeth get together and Anteros (the god of mutual love and Percy’s sort of half brother) tells Percy to ask Annabeth out already.

Nerites: *holds up infant Anteros* Look, sis! Me and Poseidon just made a kid!
Amphitrite: *stares at Anteros*
Amphitrite: *turns to Poseidon* You better say you squirt that kid out, not my brother.

I fuck with the Nerites/Poseidon ship not because I like old man/young man (really not my thing sorry Ganymede) but more on because I headcanon Nerites as only a bit younger than his Nereid sisters (5 years max) Since Hesiod never mentioned his age, only that he’s the youngest child of Doris and Nereus.
Nerites and Poseidon creating Anteros or Mutual Love makes Amphitrite/Poseidon/Nerites an interesting dynamic (even if its non existent in mythological text). Amphitrite obviously doesn’t want Nerites in her marriage bed (see the myth of Scylla) but that’s her brother, so of course it’s complicated.
Also, Nerites capturing the attention of not one, not two, but THREE gods (aphrodite, poseidon, helios) is such a flex even if he turns into a shellfish at the end (I like to think Poseidon does turn him back but not before laughing his ass off).

Nerites x Poseidon retelling where Nerities is a young adult and he gets saved by Poseidon which causes him to fall head over heels and everyone else tells him that he shouldn't be with Poseidon because he's too old for him and he's problematic and there's a power imbalance and and and but Nerites decides "I'm going to fuck that old man" anyway.
Bonus: Poseidon dosen't push Nerites into a relationship and allows Nerites to decide how fast their relationship is going and he dosen't kidnap him or rape him or force him to be his husband or turn him into a cup barer or whatever and yes I am shiting all over the other two ships

Personality Headcanons
(Since the greek male love interests have little to none to go off of)
HYACINTHUS: I think people believe that he acts like very sweet and gentle, but I think that doesn't make a lot of sense for Hyacinthus and it's kind of a easy basic answer. Hyacinthus, to me, seems like more of a military type person. I mean, he's in SPARTA, and everybody knows how Sparta acts like. I'm not saying he can't be a nice person, but I think there is far more to him. He's not necessarily delicate in my opinion, he's very strong and very competitive. He can be protective, even over Apollo, and a amazing fighter. I think that he liked Apollo so much because he didn't have to worry about anything around him. He can be stressfree, and he loved that. I think he was also a direct person with the way he spoke. Essentially the way Patroclus acted like in the Iliad, because I believe they kind of parallel one another, like Achilles parallels Apollo in some ways.
NERITES: Nerites is a fun one, actually. It took a while for me to make up a personality because of what little we have of him. We know Aphrodite and Poseidon both love him, we know that he's Amphitrite's little brother, and we know he's extraordinarily beautiful. Also that he's Poseidon's charioteer. I also heard that he was VERY VERY fast to the point he even challenged Helios (or maybe he didn't and Helios was just jealous tbh). So I'm thinking that maybe he's a daredevil of sorts? Very energetic and very playful kind of like the typical little brother. He's a ride-or-die type of person and doesn't like staying in one place. Also, maybe he can be a little bit bratty at times, giving Poseidon a little bit of sass certain times (Poseidon is way more unbothered then people would typically think). Also I think Nerites is very much aware of HOW pretty he is and uses his pretty privelege to get away with pranks and stuff. I mean how is Poseidon supposed to punish him with those pretty doe eyes? Come on!
Ganymede: He's actually the more simpler ones. He's the only one that I can genuinely see as gentle and delicate. I think he was probably pampered a lot due to his immense beauty, so kind of the opposite of Hyacinthus. When he first came to Olympus I think he was genuinely frightened and Zeus had to comfort him. (Cute little headcanon that he met Nerites and felt a bit more comfortable due to Nerites' company). Even though we all know what PROBABLY happened based on Zeus' behavior, I like to think that Zeus was very patient with Ganymede and refused to touch him until Ganymede initiated first. I think Ganymede also kind of doesn't realize how much privilege he has? He's a bit spoiled but doesn't quite realize it? He knows he's pretty but he doesn't exactly understand HOW pretty he is, and he also doesn't understand how far Zeus would go for him. He's not necessarily insecure, just completely unaware and not too out of touch.
Adonis: Adonis is literally the insane dude who you speak to who constantly talks about and is fascinated by DEATH or the UNIVERSE or how the world is going to collapse any second. If Adonis spoke to the average joe, they would probably only listen because of how beautiful Adonis is. Adonis realizes he's very beautiful, but it's extremely effortless. I think Aphrodite kind of likes that he doesn't try so hard, and it just comes for him. Adonis doesn't like special treatment for his looks either (but he definitely gets it anyway). Adonis is incredibly fearless when it comes to death, and gets excited when he almost dies. Adonis has a great singing voice but will ONLY sing around people he feels deserve it. Not even out of arrogance, but because he only wants people he loves and trusts to hear it.

Prayer to Poseidon for good tidings
Musa, cante de Poseidon, o Treme-Terras
Soberano do oceano e nutridor do verde
Bons ventos provê e paz pra navegar
Nas tuas cálidas águas da vida

Note that I do not own the characters from the Greek Myth, I was doing this for fun.
My Nerites
Nerites is the beautiful god of the sea and the lover of Aphrodite and Poseidon, he is the son of Parents Nereus and Doris, he is the brother of the Nereids and Thesis.
Likes: Pufferfish, shellfish, snails, blowing bubbles, listening to classical music (on his softer side), listening to heavy rock music (on his very aggressive side), drinking beer, his family and his beloved lovers.
Dislikes: his aggressive side and being away from his loved ones.
Friends/Allies: Achilles (nephew), Thesis, his sisters, Aphrodite, Poseidon and Amphitrite
Enemies: Theseus and sea monsters.
Personality: his personality may be based on Hrist from ROR and he is kind of a Tsundere, his side that is on the right of his eye to show of his kind, soft speaking, gentle, loving and polite man, he is very loving and kind to his family and lovers, while the his side that is the left side of his eye to show that he is a very rude, aggressive, loud speaking and violent man.

SPOILERS FOR LORE OLYMPUS EPISODE 238!!!!!!
okay, so i personally thought this episode was HILARIOUS
Nereus not knowing who Thetis was? Peak, I loved it, thank you perfect
Hades talking to the shade who just hisses like it’s a regular conversation might have been my favorite part😂
Hades being worried about Persephone and her assuring him she’ll be fine? Y E S! Precious little hades and incredible badass prepared sephie MY FAVORITE DUO
”Zeus is Zeus” hahaaa true (also Poseidon is in a polygamous pod? I’m not sure who he could be in a relationship with other than Amphitrite and possibly Nerites, and also I don’t see how him being polygamous skirts around him cheating on his wife per se? But I don’t know that much about polygamy and don’t wish to offend anyone so if anyone could explain that to me I’d appreciate it greatly! 🙏 thank you! 😊)
ok but wait Hades DMed leuce while he and Persephone were apart? i highly doubt that’s really true considering that he was possessed at the time or at least for part of it? Hmm perhaps Zeus reached out somehow, having tapped into hades phone or something? that feels like shit Zeus would have tried to pull, but it also feels like a bit of a stretch. I’ll put a pin in that one. maybe Kronos himself did it to keep Persephone away from Hades because of the whole fertility-goddesses-are-dangerous-as-fuck thing? That makes a lot of sense, but I’m not sure!
Ok but anyways little Achilles is the only good thing thetis has contributed to this whole damn webcomic and I stand by that. I hate her sm
um my final thoughts is that when Hecate first came over with the water and fruit cup, i thought it was soda and a bag of chips and I was like “oh yeah sure hecate just walked over snacking to inform them that Morpheus had a huge breakthrough that could immensely help them, that’s relatable” and was kinda confused when she said it was a fruit cup and water lmaooo

nereus, king of the ocean (asteroid 4660)
Nereus is the son of Pontus and Gaea. Often he is thought of as the old man of the sea. He is the father of almost all the famous water nymphs, or Nereids, of Greek mythology. Three of the most popular being Thetis - mother of Achilles, Amphitrite - the sea wife of Poseidon, and Nerites - the most notable male nymph. He is often referred to in myth as the sea king who was honest and fair but over time he was replaced with his own grandson Triton. IN MY OPINION Nereus in your chart can indicate a) where your children outshine you, b) where you are seen as fair, and/or c) where are you are replaced by someone younger.
i encourage you to look into the aspects of nereus along with the sign, degree, and house placement. for the more advanced astrologers, take a look at the persona chart of nereus AND/OR add the other characters involved to see how they support or impede nereus!
OTHER RELATED ASTEROIDS: amphitrite (29), thetis (17), and gaea (1184)!

Ok, so real thing;
Originally, I was going to make Pontus and Thalassa as Roman Titans/Counterparts to Oceanus and Tethys but then I realize that upon my own big mistake, Pontus and Oceanus were not exactly the same God, thus, I completely mistook for a version of Ocean Parents.
In Greco-Roman Mythology, Amphitrite was actually the Daughter of Nereus and Doris.
However, since in my version, Amphitrite is Oceanus and Tethys' Daughter (based on some sources where she was an Oceanid), my mind completely wanted Me to have Salacia as Nereus and Doris' Daughter giving as to how that there are Rare Media showing Nereus being barley the Father of Poseidon's Wife (example is in Disney's Hercules). And mainly because Nereus and Doris are Amphitrite/Salacia's actual parents throughout lore, I felt really embarrass of making Pontus and Thalassa as replacements for Nereus and Doris as The Parents of King Poseidon's wife in my AU since I know for a fact that SpongeBob isn't that 1.1 accurate towards Mythos (and defiantly wouldn't take Mythos THAT seriously), but based on the Wife Swap scenario in Different Timelines between Timeline A and Timeline B (which is Kamp Koral), there's only unsolved questionable asks like who could Amphitrite and Salacia's own Parents be if Poseidon and Neptune had swap their own consorts? That is, who exactly are the Parents of the Wives?
So yeah, another Headcanon Retconned for my SpongeBob AU (mainly because on how my brain is slowly progressing a change development for Certain Alternate Backstories which I still have kept developed ever since). Granted, I was actually going to consider Nereus and Doris having their own Family (in which Nerites and Nerea would've been Nereus and Doris' only children) but seeing as to now that Pontus and Thalassa just now don't really work as Different replacements for them as I feel like that keeping the one popular version where it's an Elder Man of the Sea is a Father to Fifty Beautiful Daughters is a lot more comparable to the Elderly Parent type in a Fairy Tale where their own Child sacrifices their own Parents' lives to be in their own place (Beauty and the Beast, anyone?). It's not necessarily that I would keep the Counterparts to have the same body type, because we live in a world where we have our own shapes and sizes (like comparing an Apple with a Pear), though one can say for sure is how that not every God has a Counterpart of their own by different name.
So, just why not have the Two Different versions of the Sea Queen's Parents be Counterparts of each other for the sake of their own Daughters? Could've been a LOT more easier if I already had done that before in the first place...
Anyways, here's a little new re-addition of Nereus and Doris, the Parents of the Nereids (including Salacia).
Nereus is very Wise and Strict, always keeping a close eye to each of the Seven Seas and even most importantly towards his Daughters, the Nereids. He is annoyed by Salacia's actions whenever she's doing something that gets her in trouble but despite the fact that Salacia is one of his Nereid Daughters who is the most different, he still loves all of his daughters briefly no matter what.
Doris is very Patient and Calm, often hard-working with all of the choices that she tends to get done and is indeed an watcher of all of the Seas just like her own Husband. She takes very good care of her own Daughters and would often tell them stories (usually Fairy Tales). Of course, being a Supportive Mother she is, she would mainly comfort her daughters (including Salacia) no matter what sorts of trouble situations they are in.

So what's Nerites' relationship with Poseidon like in your AU of Hercules? (I'm planning to do my version of Him as Amphitrite's Brother and even one of Poseidon's Exes in my own SpongeBob AU)
Poseidon and Nerites' relationship is pretty civil. They may have dated once or twice, but it was nothing too serious and now Nerites is Poseidon's charioteer and a proud member of his guard

Character Intro: Amphitrite (Kingdom of Ichor)
Nicknames- Tris by her close friends and family
Age- 18
Location- Atlantis, Underwater Kingdom
Personality- Tris is a very studious girl. She's fiercely passionate and dedicated about things that are important to her- like family. She marches to the beat of her own drum & is not afraid of opening her mind/worldview to new things. She's got a sharp tongue and has a hard time keeping her opinions to herself sometimes. She's single.
She’s a nereid nymph. Her tail has teal & dark blue scales. Twice a week she rubs on a homemade recipe (her mom’s) of kelp and jellyfish to keep from flaking.
She's currently a freshman, staying on campus in a fabulous dorm attending Atlantis University. She hopes to get a degree in political science, with a minor in aquatic history. Tris is also a writer for her college's newspaper- The Atlantis Courier, writing for the politics section. She has a very good friend at school, a mermaid named Cascada (nicknamed Cassie). Lately, she's been flirting a bit with a merguy named Cyano who's in her Oceanic Histories class.
Tris grew up in a sprawling mansion (nicknamed The Silver Palace) in a very large family, probably the biggest family in all the seas. Her parents have fifty-one children in total! She has fifty other sisters & one brother named Nerites (nicknamed Neri). She also has quite the number of nieces and nephews from her eldest siblings.
Growing up she was classically trained to sing by her mother Doris who used to sing opera. Tris received many compliments on her voice. She also grew up taking lessons to play the piano, the flute, and the harp. Her and all of her other sisters took lessons on hula dancing & ballet. A fond memory of hers is when Tris and her mom would go to the opera, snacking on the coconut mini cakes they'd snuck in. It's been a while since they hung out together.
She remembers every instance of when someone remarked that she should sing professionally. Tris often fantasizes about being a "master vocalist/political bad-ass."
Even though she loves all her sisters, Tris is closer to Lala (Galatea), Sam (Psamathe), Maera, & Thetis- since they're close enough in age. They all would hang out often, "surfacing" up to Olympius- specifically the state of Naxos where they'd flirt with sailors, sunbathe, shop at the nearby flea markets, and drink countless fruit slushies. They'd all end up at a seaside hotel where they'd all hula dance & sing karaoke. Tris hasn't personally hung out with Thetis since she decided to live in Olympius full time for her modeling career- and also having a bit of a fallout after a “major disagreement.” Her brother Neri does stop by her dorm from time to time, annoying Tris, but mostly to flirt with Chloe.
Her go-to drink is an aqua pearl cocktail (a drink made with gin, pineapple juice, lemon juice, simple syrup, blue curacao, & angostura). She also likes electric lemonade (a drink made with blue curacao, lemonade, lemon-lime soda, and vodka), lychee bubble tea, and New Olympus Iced Teas.
Tris is a HUGE basketball fan! Her and her father once sat courtside at the Phykios Stadium where they watched the championship featuring their favorite team- the Atlantis Sea Snakes!
Her freshman survival pack includes dried guava gummies, saltwater taffy, salt & vinegar seaweed chips, lychee licorice twists, and saltwater infused cola.
Two of Tris' favorite animals are dolphins and sea turtles!
Her favorite breakfast is a stack of pineapple pancakes‐ drowned in coconut agave syrup and topped with whipped cream! Her dad makes the best.
Tris' fav musical artist to listen to is Eurydice. She's a major super fan- having all her albums & a HUGE poster of her on the wall in her dorm. Her & 20 of her sisters once went to see her perform at the Royal Pearl Concert Hall. Her favorite album of hers to listen to on a continuous loop, is her debut, Cinnamon.
For her long dark wavy hair, she loves using the Glory's Crown kelp & mint volumizing shampoo and conditioner as well as the sea salt texturizing spray.
Tris adores her father Nereus. She always wears the necklace given to her by him when she was born- a gold chain with a white seashell & pearl charm. She also loves the stories he used to tell her when she was younger, of epic oceanic legends.
As a piece offering, Thetis gave her a Diamond Ave. dolphin shaped jeweled clutch. Tris keeps it in the back of her closet at home.
Tris had her first kiss when she was 11. It was with a neighbor- a merboy named Kai who went to the same school as her. Her first real relationship was with a merguy named Wade. They were each other's first love, they dated all through high school, he was Tris' date to the prom, & they had sex for the first time with each other. They broke up mutually before starting university since they were going to different schools. They sometimes keep in touch through Fatestagram.
Her favorite meal is tako poke- diced octopus, kimchi, sesame seed oil, crushed chilis, and sea salt. Her mother usually brings it by for Tris when she's not in the mood to eat junk food. She can also make her "special" grilled cheese‐ made with sweet bread, grilled pineapple slices, provolone, & mozzarella cheese.
Tris' favorite frozen treat is a sundae made with coconut and blue moon ice cream topped with shaved coconut!
In her free time (when she’s not in school), Tris loves spending time with her family, singing, watching historical documentaries, solve crossword puzzles, embroidery, listening to music, & hanging out with friends.
"Much like the sea, I don't like to be restrained!"

Olympians Favorite Disney Movies
Apollo: I have no reason to think this other then the fact that Rapunzel is blond like him and glows, but he definitely loves Tangled and had a “childhood” crush on both Flynn and Rapunzel at the same time.
Poseidon: If anyone asks Poseidon if he likes the Little Mermaid he would say HELL NO. He would go on a rant on how everything is inaccurate in the movie and that its a travesty towards all ocean gods. But when Nerites/Amphitrite “force” him to watch it, hes LOCKED IN.
Ares: MULAN!!!! You know how Ares is the god of dance? “I’ll make a man out of you” always causes some sort of secret dance battle in his room. Aphrodite doesn’t even try to have a conversation with him when he’s watching this movie.
Athena: probably thinks disney movies are childish and a waste of time, but I can definitely see her liking Bella from Beauty and the Beast.
Hera: She likes the classics! I think she’d like Cinderella. I have no reason at all to think this it just feels right.
Zeus: Hercules. Hades bad, Zeus good? He’d fucking love it
Aphrodite: She’d probably love all the disney movies if I’m being honest. But perhaps Enchanted? Or maybe Peter Pan (the 2003 live action version of Peter and Wendy’s relationship was straight up adorable but interesting)
