About Me

I’m currently 39 😱 I’m obsessed with the color pink and I’m a country girl (born, raised, and currently live in the Appalachian mountains). I speak with a thick southern accent. I collect figures. I’m a huge nerd in every way. I love comic books (both manga and American comics), video games (mostly JRPG’s, Otome/Dating Sims, and Survival Horror), Star Wars, Kaiju/Tokusatsu, and all things Horror. I read a lot, mostly fantasy and horror. I grew up in a conservative religious household and I’m still trying to unlearn a lot of bullshit, so please bear with me.

I write for two fandoms currently: Boku no Hero Academia and Jujutsu Kaisen. I might write for others at some point and I’ve written tons for other fandoms over the years. I also write original fiction. I would deeply appreciate any support (reblogs/comments/likes) for my original stuff because that’s where my true passion lies. I’m somewhat slow with posting updates to my fics but I promise I’m trying. I tag my x Reader fics with the x reader tag so that people who hate x reader can filter it out easily. I haven’t always done this so I’m in the process of going back and properly tagging everything.

I mostly post my writings here. It’s mostly fanfiction but there are some headcanons and opinionated rants here and there. I’m trying to go back and tag them all. You can look for the tags “Jjk headcanons” and “bnha headcanons” (that’s what I’ll be tagging them). Otherwise I mostly just reblog fanart and gif sets. I'm so glad you came to me. Let me take you on a little story of our Phandom History.

So the tl;dr is that it's a Danny Phantom shitposting tournament. There are 64 entrants who go head to head over 6 rounds. It's a stereotypical tournament style, so head to head rounds until there is just one final Phight Club Champion.

The history of this epic tournament is that in 2018, @ectopusses and @raycr0ak (formally rayhoosier) challenged me to an epic phight behind the Denny's. We trash talked for a while before @dannyphandump (aka Tali) started a Betting Booth on me vs ectopusses, which was then coined as an official phight.

After the idea gained popularity, Tali made a post to see if people wanted to set up a genuine, Hunger Games style shitpost tournament. @catalystofthesoul then set up how the tournament would work, and Tali and Vic (@babypop-phantom) then worked to bring it all together for January 2019.

2019 came with the FIRST Phight Club. @reallydumbdannyphantomaus won, @heyheyitsstillgay came in second, and I came in third.

So then 2021 came, and unfortunately both Tali and Vic needed a break. The events were always massive and involved essentially two full months of festivities, including art making, ghostsonas, oneshots showcasing epic battles, fake jobs and fake workdays, and more. Then 2022 came and went with no phight club even mentioned.

At this point, many of us just assumed that Phight Club was a thing of the past. A fun little thing we participated in for a few years that had stayed in that era of the phandom along with the famous Apocalypses and other meme-y events.

Well that was, until Last Night where Vic mysteriously posted this ominous flickering Denny's sign, the first peep this blog has had in the past few years.

Then shortly after, they changed their header to say this.

So is a Phight Club 2023 in the works?

Are we going to get an epic reunion?

okay its in my header and ive mentioned before but i should clarify: im extremely undecided on whether i ACTUALLY headcanon fuyuhiko as having been raised. partially catholic

the thing about that headcanon is that its drawn from an EXTREMELY nondiagetic source. which is. a lot of the design choices in the game. its been stated before that a lot of fuyuhiko’s gang aesthetics are weirdly italian mobster-esque, im not the first to point it out, and to me thats partially just because thats what all the games are like. the designers seem completely unsure about whether their games are extremely japanese or extremely Non Culturally Specific. were never actually told that hopes peak is in japan, just that its in A Country. we assume that its japan, because of cultural aesthetics and because of the fact that its a japanese game, but thats pretty much never made explicit as far as i know! maybe in the anime. i never watched it

but a lot of other things are. Very multicultural. jabberwock can be forgiven for being weirdly americanized in places, given that its hypothetically somewhere in the middle of the pacific ocean and could have been a tourist spot for americans. but even elements of the school, hpa itself, are kind of american. even others are very japanese. a lot of the character designs and backstories are multicultural. so fuyuhikos sort of very japanese/very italian design is just. an extension of that weird design choice?

but also. the idea that somewhere in his family is a first generation italian immigrant to japan is. so interesting. making him the future head of an EXTREMELY japanese mafia when hes actually wasian is. so interesting!!!! the idea that (jumping off my hc that shes his half sister) natsumi is fully japanese while hes not is SO INTERESTING!!!! GIVING HIM CATHOLIC GUILT ON TOP OF EVERYTHING IS UTTERLY BONKERS AND IT MAKES ME GO CRAZY

just. the dissonance of having grown up with a very SHINTO background while also going to CATHOLIC CHURCH is absolutely insane. i can not imagine the kind of religious trauma this boy has

School House Rock: America Rock 4th of July Special! (Comission for WeirdKev27)

Happy LOUD EXPLOSIONS OUTSIDE MY GODDAMN WINDOW WHILE I'M TRYING TO WRITE THIS day everyone. I almost missed doing an indepdence day specail as in the chaos of my move, reorganizing the schedule, having to play catchup, I plum forgot. Thankfully Kev came in the clutch with something easy I could do and thus this special. Schoolhouse Rock is something I saw once or twice as a kid but was a few generations before mine. It came out of a very wholesome source: add exec David McCall noticed his son, while able to learn song lyrics easy, wasn't great with remembering his multiplication tables. So he awesomely wrote a song, hired a musicain to perform it and if he wasn't already father of the year had someone animated. This caught the attention of Radford Stone, a real person I assure you and an exec at ABC who urged him to pitch it and since micheal eisner liked it enough not to kali ma his heart out, the series got greelit as some educational shorts between programs, a way to edcuate kids in a fun way and one of the earliest edutainment breakthroughs i'm aware of. And that's.. really what these are. Simple little animated shorts with awesome music to edcuate you, with this batch having been on vhs and dvd as a collection. Simple premise, great execution, so let's rock under the cut shall we?

No More Kings: This one is about the colonization of america. Which naturally glosses HEAVILY over the meeting with and eventual subjication of the indigenous persons of this country . So here's wendsday adams to give us the real scoop

Otherwise it's a well done short and I just love their pissy little king george who uses a telescope to spy on america and shake his fist. He's the second greatest king george in history. You likely know the first...

The real question is why HAVEN'T I covered hamilton?

Fireworks Do you ever feel like a plastic bag? because I do. All day every day. Anyways, obvious jokes inside this one is also fire, not only for the stunning visuals of the fireworks, especially ont he budget of a paper clip and a piece of string, but just for the groovy beat for this one. It might be my faviorite of this batch. Aside from the creepy guy chasing a woman around.

The Shot Heard Round the World: .. after I typed that header ANOTHER firework went off in my neighborhood. and then about 4 or 5 as I typed this.. and another.. and another... okay it stopped ... wait no.. okay NOW it stopped. What was I on about? Oh yeah.. this one. It's not bad, but it's not really anything specail. I do however like the house art style for the characters, having most characters in black and white unless they needed to portray another race. THe only thing of not eit really does is feature THE PRIDE OF MOUNT VERNON, GEORGGGEEE WASHINNGTOONNNN!

Preamble It sounds pretty and features John Adams, who sat this one out that FAT MOTHER FU

Elbow Room This is a fun one about the lousiana purchase. Again this being america i'm PRETTY sure there was likely just a touch of genocide underneath this expansion, but it's still a jaunty enough toon.

The Great American Melting Pot Now this one is well meaning, being about how immigration is a good thing , using the old melting pot metaphor. Given how horrendous things have gotten with immigration lately, it's a message that needs to be heard. That said they PROBABLY could've picked a better metaphor than "putting a ton of children inside a giant literal soup pot for a giant lady liberty"

I mean like I said it MEANS well, I just didn't know the statue of liberty fed on the blood of children. My theory was: the statue of liberty likes dog food.

Mother Neciscity

Sufferin Till Suffrage After the nice nap given to me by that last one, we can get into a REALLY FUN one following the embodiment of suffrage as she celebrates how women have the right to vote.. and points out how horribly recent it was gained. It was only 55 years ago when this short aired and it 'll be 103 in august. It's a groovy bit of music about how old assholish men opressed women and how it took decades and decades of struggle for women to get the right to vote. I also like it a lot because unlike a LOT of these , it dosen't sugarcoat things: men opressed women and this was them fighting back for what they always shoudl've had. Simple and awesome, like the best of these.

I'm Just a Bill

Here we are, the GOAT of Schoolhouse Rock, the most iconic one of them. And naturally the one that's been the most parodied with both simpsons

Which, fun fact, I saw way more as a kid than the original. It also makes me laugh way more as an adult because I get it fully. Family guy also took a nice stab at it though instead of doing a full parody they just made a really hilarious joke

It also looks like they got the actual voice of bill to do both of these. What a champ.

I also had the rude awakening right wing doucher Steven Crowder thought doing a parody of it against trans rights was a good idea.

The original though his solid and still works. It's stuck, with me knowing how bills work primarily BECAUSE of this song, and the vocal performance is fucking dynamite. It's a work that really stands the test of time , from the image of bill sadly sittnig onc aptial hill to the jubilant ending of him becoming a law. It's really great stuff and easy to see why it endured enough to get tons of parodies and is clearly still shown in school enough for people to STILL recognize it decades later.

Three Ring Government: This one is about how a goverment is like a circus. Granted I would've had congress and the house both as clown cars full of people who either put party bias over personal intrests or are a giant pack of ghouls who care nothing but for their own power. What i'm saying is while this works perfectly for the intended demo for a jaded old man like me it's pretty fucking depressing, especially since 2/3 of these branches aren't in the best shape right now. It''s not bad on it's own merits, it's just hard to watch and not wince wat what the right is doing to it right now or have done to women, people of color and the country in general.

These are a great batch of shorts though. Maybe one day we'll return to school but for now we say good bye to this and hello to MORE EXPOSIONS. THE EXPLOSIONS NEVER END THE EXPLOSIONS NEVER

You guys know I can write fanfics and smut about characters other than Lookism:) like viral hit, other characters from different webtoons or anime all y’all gotta do is submit a request 🤗

But about me is my name is Choi, call me tenp I’m around 13 - 18, and I go by she/they pronouns. I’m an Asian American who loves to game, read webtoons and manwhas, watch dramas, listen to music, draw a bit, crochet a bit, and likes to travel.

Some themes in my ff are that I use music lyric references in each and one of them, I use headers that match the ff, and they’re pretty much smut(hahah)

If you want you can ask me anything more. I stan BTS and Stray kids and more. My favorite anime is jjba, fairy tail, supercrooks and etc. Obviously my favorite webtoon is Lookism but I also like Viral hit and other action webtoons while reading romance. I like to play LOL, Roblox and other games. I listen to rnb and pop l, but mostly K-pop

I like to travel to places where it’s busy and city liked. I liked to travel to Asia for once

Animated cartoons; how they are made, their origin and development by Edwin G. Lutz, 1920

This richly illustrated book by American illustrator Edwin G. Lutz was published in 1920, at a time when animation was, well, brand new.

Although some of the information within is outdated, such as the method of measuring seconds in feet of film and, of course, the equipment used to fix the images, those parts of the book serve as an important record of how animation was actually created in the pioneering 20s.

The parts which remain relevant are extremely so. Lutz talks about storyboards, framing, storytelling, dividing the movement into frames, the processes of inbetweening and cleanup, and his book can be an excellent guide for any animator looking to build their own miniature studio. The equipment limitations of 100 years ago are surprisingly like the budget limitations an amateur or solo artist might face today. If you do not have access to modern equipment , remember that Lutz and his contemporaries didn't either.

this header looks god awful but I made it so I'm a tiny bit proud of it. anyways I already have a series in progress that I desperately want to finish but i decided I wanted to work on something a little different so im writing a Zoo AU fic that's reader x mingi

description that is copy and pasted from wikipedia except with the characters changed:

Violent animal attacks upon humans are occurring all over the world. Y/n L/n, an American zoologist and her Korean friend, Jeong Yunho, a safari guide, as well as Park Seonghwa, a Los Angeles reporter, Kim Hongjoong, a quirky veterinary pathologist, and a French intelligence agent, Song Mingi, all seek to investigate the mysterious pandemic as the attacks become more coordinated and ferocious.

zoo is a tv show I fucking love and I thought it would make for an interesting fic so what im doing is essentially rewatching the episodes from season 1 to create myself an outline. the show takes place over many different locations until about half way through if I recall correctly so there's a lot of jumps around. right now, only Yunho, Mingi, Seonghwa, and Hongjoong are main characters, but im planning on tying in the rest of the boys, although some of them will definitely not be good guys. the plot of the show is cheesy and a little confusing so if for some reason someone sees this and wants to watch the show to understand, you'll spoil it for yourself so if you do want to read this I don't recommend watching until I finish. atm, im only planning on writing out season 1, but depending on my satisfaction with what I write and public perception, I might write the rest of the show, although it does get shitty after season two.

I am aware that this is super ambitious, especially since I have a bad habit of not finishing projects I start, but my New Years resolution is the fix that and I'm actually pumped about this, even if it does take me forever to write out since im turning 45-50 minute episodes into single chapters

I also want to make it clear that I in no way shape or form own the plot. I'm simply borrowing it and changing it a bit to put the ateez members in a dystopian/scifi environment. I will change probably more than a few things, but mostly how scenes play out since I just straight up don't like how the show handles things sometimes, but I'm keeping in the essential bits so the plot stays together. I am changing lines and characters to fit my needs so it won't be an exact copy, but all the main elements will stay
