Nico and Nolan's adventures to their respective hometowns must have been epic and lovely

Nico: thinks Winnipeg is a bit cold but is really impressed with the atmosphere. Tells Nolan it’s amazing but also a little intimidated by how hockey-crazed the city is. Gets mistaken for a Jets fan and plays along, ends up buying Jets merch somehow. Secretly thinks it’s not as beautiful as home but he’d never tell Nolan that because he’s a polite boy. Really enjoys seeing how comfortable Nolan is in the city, and how Nolan lights up while showing him around

Nolan: doesn’t understand a fucking word anyone is saying when he’s in Naters. But does appreciate visiting Bern and going down the river in the Swiss boat that Nico wrote about in his player’s tribune. Goes skiing and snowboarding in the Alps over the summer with Nico and falls in love with the place that gave him this wonderful boy

i just read "all that" for the fourth time and let me tell you i am still crying over this thing it's great. also just wondering are you going to be writing more for this verse or are you stopping at nate/mikey and mitch/auston?

i have plans for a t. raddy/m. stephens story in that ‘verse and i have a bit of it written, but it’s been giving me trouble lately. have a relevant snippet, though:

It’s kind of amazing, the way Mikey is when he’s happy. It radiates out from him, sort of, like, it’s somehow easier to be happy when Mikey’s happy. It’s like– Dylan overflows with joy, but Mikey opens up with it, like it’s a simple thing. It’s never too much or too little, with him. Honestly, that might be one of the things Taylor likes most about hanging out with Mikey. Everything with him is simple, unless Nathan Bastian is involved.

So, Taylor and Mikey hug, and then Mikey immediately texts Nater, which– alright, yeah, a little much. Like, jeez, Mikey has parents and brothers who will want to congratulate him, but apparently getting in contact with Nathan Bastian is more urgent.
