ok so i asked my friend to send me a photo of a person so i could draw it. Then she sent me this:

and i didnt want to draw it so it stayed in my photo album for like a year. Yesterday i got bored while waiting for my other classmates to finish their art assignments in class, so i scrolled through my photo album to find some reference to draw su characters on it. I was around 9-10 when SU first came out. A month before I saw it on tv I saw those little capsule machines and it had rings of the birth stones. I saw august was peridot so from then on I fell in love with the peridot gem. After watching SU I waited to see if peridot will appear and when she did she became my fav gem, she’s still my fav to this day, 9-8 years later.

After 2.5+ years, we're finally (safely) going to a con. So that means cosplays, and all Steven Universe! I already have the Rose-in-Mr-Universe-shirt, just need to refloof the hair. Our college kiddo's going to be Mega Pearl/VolleyPearl (xe's cosplayed ALL the Pearls except yellow), and my husband's going to be alien boxer shorts Peridot (not his first Peridot, he's been flower girl Peridot before and yes, I made him the yellow dress)! So yeah, doing that, and have been derping along on things. It's good to have focus.
