So I know I have a lot of fanfics going on. We have the Even With the Stars between us AU, the post reveal story (which will be multi chapter) and the Unknown AU which I’m planning a sequel for. But heh funny thing I have sooooo many more ideas that (are miraculous, non-miraculous and a combination of a bunch of fandoms) I may or may not have already started writing. So I’m kind of going to list them and talk about them to see if anyone is interested in them.

Starlight

Truelea tries her hardest to avoid the forbidden lands. It literally has forbidden in the name. But she couldn’t avoid it this time. She didn’t understand why the starlight was leading her there but it had to be important. Kiki had said that the forbidden lands were where the villains used to live. Kiki didn’t know if the villains fled like everyone else from the darkdust or if they stayed and got trapped like everyone else. Truelea stepped on a branch and screamed not knowing what the sound was. She looked down at the broken purple twig. She let out a sigh of relief and kept following the starlight. The forbidden lands kept getting darker and darker as she walked. But the starlight got brighter and brighter which meant they were close. Eventually it got so dark that all she could see was the illumination from the starlight. Eventually the star light disappeared and circled around a tree. Illuminating the tree. It was purple like all of the other trees but it didn’t have leaves. It looked old and hollow. At a closer inspection she could tell that the tree was covered in darkdust. She stared at the opening for a while. So long that she thought that her ears were deceiving her and there was singing. Wait.. Truelea gasped and took a few steps back. There was totally singing coming from the tree. The voice that sang it was sad and it sounded weared out and tired. Little kitty on a rooftop. Truelea was uneasy now. It definitely didn’t sound like a lullaby she knew. All alone without his lady. Clearly the starlight wanted her to go in the tree. But Truelea really didn’t want to. She took a deep breath and quickly ran inside before she could have any second thoughts. The singing stopped as soon as they noticed her. Truelea didn’t realize she had had her eyes closed so she pried them open nervously. And found two green cat eyes staring straight at her. “H-hello?” Was all she managed to get out.

Okay so this story is going to be inspired by the Disney game Dreamlight valley. It’s going to go into depth about my OC Truelea! She will actually be introduced in the Even Between the Stars AU so I won’t post this story until she is introduced. But basically this story is about Truelea trying to restore the Land of Stars after it was overtaken by the darkdust. It will have many fandoms (obviously Miraculous because it’s in the excerpt). Like Miraculous, Amphibia, The Owl House, The Lunar Chronicles, Kiki’s Delivery Service and tons more! And there will be romance and overall it will be pretty fun. I will try my hardest to explain everything you need to know so you son’s have to watch every movie and show and read every book included in this story. Also the stories in this shows, movies and books won’t always matter because they will kind of have new stories. Only the characters and concepts will matter.

Wednesday AU

“Welcome to Nevermore, Wednesday!” A girl with blue pink and blond hair said excitedly. Honestly this girl wore too much color. I doubted she had a single piece of black clothing in her wardrobe. “I’m Enid and I’ll be your roommate!” Great, I would have to spend my time in this prison with this explosion of color. Enid tried to hug me but I maneuvered out of her grasp. “Okay not a hugger.” Enid muttered. Then she clapped. “Why don’t I show you around?” At least that seemed slightly more interesting. I followed Enid into the big hall of the school. It was all dark wood and had an intricate design on the floor. There were glass cases with trophies and pictures on the walls. There were tons of kids in the hall everywhere. Great more social interaction. One thing that did surprise me was how normal everyone looked. There were only a few people that I could tell were different. “Okay I’ll introduce you to a few people around the school.” Enid said, skipping over to two kids. The girl had black curly hair with dark skin. The boy was the complete opposite. With blue eyes, blonde hair and light skin. “This is Amari and Dylan. They’re what people call Magicians. Amari and Dylan this is Wednesday.” Enid said excitedly. I have only heard of Magicians in a book once. Though the Magicians I heard about were evil.

This AU is also Multifandom and it will be about if the Miraculous characters and the characters from the Amari trilogy attended nevermore. I really like this AU. I think it’s fun to see the characters interactions. The story will be similar to the story in the Wednesday show but with some differences because of the new characters.

World afterlife traveling story????

The room was so pure white that it was blinding. My mind was a haze. I didn’t remember anything. Not how I got here. Not my loved ones. I barely even remembered my name. It took me a second of exploring my mind but eventually it snapped. Ordene. . I sat up. I felt heavy and weighted. It took all of my strength to just sit up. It felt like my body was missing something. I looked around. There were machines beeping at a constant rate. There was a desk full of papers and folders. I was sitting on a bed in the middle of the room with white covers. I was also wearing a cropped white tank top with two gray stripes and gray biker shorts. Was I in a hospital? But the clothes I was wearing didn’t seem like stuff you would wear in a hospital. I went to take off the covers and slip off the bed when I couldn’t grab the covers. Because my hand was missing. I screamed, startled. It was just a metal socket with wires sticking out. I screamed even louder. Did I always have a metal hand… oh wait yeah I did. But where was my hand? I used my other hand to pull off the covers. I tried standing up but collapsed. I threw a quick glance at my legs. Of course. My foot was gone too. I swore and used the bed to help myself up. Well clearly I couldn’t just walk out of here. I looked around once more then I realized something. There wasn’t a door? I double checked. Yep no door. If there was no door, how was I supposed to get out?

This story is not a fanfic. This one is with my own characters and original ideas. The concept is that when you die you don’t go to a different world like heaven or hell or get reincarnated or stuff like that. Instead when you die you get sent to kind of like an alternative universe. But there isn’t like a second version of you. So like you could get sent to a fantasy world, a superhero world or a pirate world. And usually your memory gets erased and you don’t remember the previous worlds you’ve been to. And every time you die in each world you get sent to a new one. But basically the story is 14 year old Ordene just recently died. But she can’t remember how or why. She’s supposed to get her memory erased and be sent off to a new world like everyone else but for some reason she can’t have her memory erased. So how’s she’s on a mission find out everything she can about her pass life and the questions that come with the answers.

Little brother Felix short story

Chat Noir crept into his bedroom from the window. Everyone should be asleep so no-one should’ve noticed that he was missing. Father never came out of his office anymore. He practically lives there. And Felix had been in bed since 7:30. Adrien glanced at the clock. It was now 1 am. ‘Wow, the Akuma took 4 hours?’ Chat Noir thought. ‘I guess that was a new record for longest taking Akuma.’ Chat Noir detransformed and Plagg drifted over to the small bed Marinette had made for him that fit into the top of one of his trophies. Adrien dragged his feet towards his bed. He was way too tired to change into his pj’s. He really just wanted to collapse into bed. He yawned loudly and stretched only a few steps away from his bed. Then he stopped. He hadn’t noticed the golden hair peeking out of the blankets of his bed. Adrien groaned. How long had Felix been awake in his bed? “Fe, I know you're there.” Adrien said, walking to the side of his bed. In response Felix hid underneath the covers even more. Adrien pulled the blankets off of his bed to find a wide eyed Felix with Marinette’s Ladybug plush curled up on Adrien’s bed. “How much did you see, Fe?” Adrien asked, rubbing the bridge of his nose.

So this is a miraculous short story. And it’s based off the little brother Felix AU idea. I love this idea and wanted to experiment with it myself. This one I guess would be post-reveal but it’s mostly focused on Felix and Adrien. And overall I think it’s sweet. But as you can probably tell Adrien comes in late one night and finds Felix in his bed now with information about his big brothers secret.

The Alternite Games

Yce is the Sage of Liaomay. Everyone loves her. Well everyone but the continent of Oteri. But Yce has a secret. When she dreams she can travel to different universes. This year Liaomay is hosting the annual Alternite games, Akai is chosen to represent Oteri. Akai has one other job at the Alternite games, to assassinate Yce. When Akai attempts to get close to Yce, she gets too close. And Akai will have to choose between her continent or her new “friend”.

This is another non-fanfic. This one I haven’t figure out a lot of details yet but I think is pretty interesting. So if people do like it it would take me a while to figure out everything. The excerpt is the summary so I don’t really need to explain that much. There will be some romance and I think it’s an interesting idea.

Inphoids, Daxne and Humans

Inphoids the beings of light, Daxne the beings of darkness and Humans lived together in peace. In a world with mystic scenery and all sorts of magic. When the Daxne make everything go wrong, they are locked away in an unknown place by powerful Inphoids.

Hundreds of years later the Inphoids have disappeared and Humans have fallen into a steampunk age. No one remembers or knows for that matter about the Daxne or Inphoids except for 13 year old Artemis.

When Artemis meets Nari, an Inphoids teen. Artemis realizes that maybe the mystical stories her parents told her in her childhood aren’t just myths.

This one I have written a lot already. This is not a fanfic. It’s inspired by Arcane a little bit and I really like this one. This will also have romance like The Alternite Games and I like it a lot. It’s already all planned out (and my teacher likes it XD).

Hi i just have to tell you that Dragon racer was my second ever IF after The Wayhaven Chronicles, it was one of the books that solidified my love for IF, way back when i was like....13-ish? i think? I loveeeeeed it soooo much Anyways, I couldn't really get into your other stuff because it was 18's so I didn't really follow along with what you were doing for a few years. Now I am officially an adult and I've started reading superstition and AHHHHH I love it!! I love it I love it I love it!!!!!! I started romancing chris, little surprised to hear people don't like him but also a little not (I love him, but he most certainly has some flaws, but also it just makes him seem like a rounded character), either way, my charachter and him are perfect together. Then you introduced Rahim and i was like FUCK now I have to play Chris as fast as I can to romance Rahim now. Also I LOVE Amari, she is so relatable to me as somone with ADHD, and someone that tries to stay positive, though she is definitely a few steps up from me in that regard. Anyways, I've kind of been reminiscing about the first IFs I ever got into recently because I've been utterly obsessed with them through my teen years and now I've graduated and am "legally" an adult and it's just crazy the stuff that got me through school. Anyways you are an amazing writer, and I'm really happy that you've stuck with it these years and built so much in the time I've been away. Congrats to you!

Oh shit, bless your eyes for having to read that book. I'm kidding, it's like ... I was going to say first child but damn that's harsh. It's more like when you go back and read your first work from elementary school and it's just kind of "damn, I wrote that." But growth, you know lmfao.

Bear Castle Chronicles Maps

MASTERPOST

It seems fitting to post the first worldbuilding post after getting back to Bear Castle Chronicles in Worldbuilding Wednesday!

So I have a thing for maps and years ago I made a lot of maps for this world, but since my break from BCC I've made some changes to the world and so I needed to do new updated maps. Previously they were not pretty, just functional tools of worldbuilding, but this time I went a little harder. It was so much fun. I used 18th and 19th century maps for inspiration for the color schemes and styles. The downside is that it took me a lot of time, so I don't have all the useful maps yet. I will be making zoomed in and more detailed maps for Dir'ahin, Víren, Horegtos and Civitas at least. I might do maps for cities like Amari, Abhlean and Sun and Moon City and may be separate for City of Civitas, depending on how detailed the Civitas area map would end up being.

Map of Mesia

Mesia is the continent the story takes place in. There's other continents mentioned, but never delved majorly into. The whole story takes place in Angusian Empire (were most of the story is spent) and Dir'ahin, but Manoa and Varosia are talked about a lot.

Here's biome and place name maps of Angusian empire. The place name map also depicts the railroad and the provinces of Angusian Empire (plus Civitas area, which is the administrative center and not a province, as well as the Autonomous Area of South-Dirahin aka occupied area).

This map depicts the ethnicities of Angusian Empire. To be clear, no area in the whole empire is homogeneous, especially cities and the more populous areas are very diverse. The colors then should be taken more as where given ethnicities mostly live. Also these are mostly umbrella groups of ethnicities, comparable to like "Germanic peoples" and they have more or less distinct groups inside them.

Map of Cabalusia

Cabalusia is where the story begins, though we don't spend that much time there in the first book. For context Cabalusia is roughly 450 km2 big, so a little smaller than Spain.

Book Review

Aru Shah and the End of Time by Roshani Chokshi

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

Another middle grade book! And another one that I would read happily to 3rd to 5th graders. I think it’s really neat. That is exploring a different culture, one that I really didn’t know much about. It’s definitely following in the footsteps of Percy Jackson, and of Rick Riordan’s other series, The Kane Chronicles. He wrote the introduction at the beginning of this book, and it’s Rick Riordan presents so it’s definitely meant to be following in the footsteps of those series.

The Kane Chronicles is one of my all-time favorite book series. I like them even more than Percy Jackson, and most of that is to do with the audiobooks. The reader for Aru Shah is not as great as the readers for The Kane Chronicles, but I do recommend the audiobook.

All that being said, I gave this a 3.5 out of 5. It was a fun story, it was interesting to learn about Hindu mythology, and I thought Aru was a really interesting and engaging main character. The reason I’m giving it 3.5 instead of 4 is mostly because of the little pop culture references. Those always take me out of a story and well. I think that the upper elementary and middle school yours would find them funny, I really don’t care that the supernatural council gets together once every full moon and also every time Game of Thrones is on. I think that’s kind of silly, and I think it dates the book. Kids reading this 10 years from now, might not know what Game of Thrones is.

I did like this book more than Amari and the Night Brothers, but I think this is going to be the last middle grade book I read for a little while. I know there are other books in this series but I don’t think I’m going to continue reading them. It was nice to get a taste. I’ve seen this book around for a while now, and I’ve been wanting to try it, but I am not invested enough in Aru’s story to continue.

BREAKING NEWS! MEENA IS TICKLISH! I REPEAT, MEENA IS TOTALLY TICKLISH!

You heard it here first, everybody. The highly talented awesome superstar Meena Amari has been classified to be extremely ticklish all over the place. Our expect ticklers, Vivace ‘Nooshy’ Jones and Artica Kennedy the Fourth, have spent the last week seeing how far they could go to test her weak spots.

Rub her under her armpits and she will yelp for you to stop! Kiss her on her neck and she will giggle madly! A feather to her belly will result in her rolling on the floor in uncontrollable laughter! And don’t get us started on her cute foot-hooves! Also, tickle her trunk at your own risk! AH-CHOO!

Word of warning… if she’s not blushing, do not tickle her! Everyone knows that a blushing Meena will defend herself less than a non-blushing Meena.

Needless to say that Meena was furious when she found out.

Best audiobook: The Atlas Six — full cast recording with such distinct personalities.

Favorite author who released a new book and it did NOT disappoint me: Gallant (Victoria Schwab, though her TV show did disappoint 🤣)

The Divisions of the Priests

1 The divisions of the sons of Aaron were these. The sons of Aaron: Nadab, Abi′hu, Elea′zar, and Ith′amar. 2 But Nadab and Abi′hu died before their father, and had no children, so Elea′zar and Ith′amar became the priests. 3 With the help of Zadok of the sons of Elea′zar, and Ahim′elech of the sons of Ith′amar, David organized them according to the appointed duties in their service. 4 Since more chief men were found among the sons of Elea′zar than among the sons of Ith′amar, they organized them under sixteen heads of fathers’ houses of the sons of Elea′zar, and eight of the sons of Ith′amar. 5 They organized them by lot, all alike, for there were officers of the sanctuary and officers of God among both the sons of Elea′zar and the sons of Ith′amar. 6 And the scribe Shemai′ah the son of Nethan′el, a Levite, recorded them in the presence of the king, and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahim′elech the son of Abi′athar, and the heads of the fathers’ houses of the priests and of the Levites; one father’s house being chosen for Elea′zar and one chosen for Ith′amar.

7 The first lot fell to Jehoi′arib, the second to Jedai′ah, 8 the third to Harim, the fourth to Se-o′rim, 9 the fifth to Malchi′jah, the sixth to Mi′jamin, 10 the seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abi′jah, 11 the ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecani′ah, 12 the eleventh to Eli′ashib, the twelfth to Jakim, 13 the thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jesheb′e-ab, 14 the fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer, 15 the seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Hap′pizzez, 16 the nineteenth to Pethahi′ah, the twentieth to Jehez′kel, 17 the twenty-first to Jachin, the twenty-second to Gamul, 18 the twenty-third to Delai′ah, the twenty-fourth to Ma-azi′ah. 19 These had as their appointed duty in their service to come into the house of the Lord according to the procedure established for them by Aaron their father, as the Lord God of Israel had commanded him.

The sons of Ja-azi′ah: Beno. 27 The sons of Merar′i: of Ja-azi′ah, Beno, Shoham, Zaccur, and Ibri. 28 Of Mahli: Elea′zar, who had no sons. 29 Of Kish, the sons of Kish: Jerah′meel. 30 The sons of Mushi: Mahli, Eder, and Jer′imoth.
