For all my Neymar fans & supporters. The news are pretty heartbreaking i have been having some hard time upon hearing the news and i can see all of us sad & having a hard time. we do have every right to be sad about it, he was having an amazing season this year and doing so well but it's not the first time he suffers from an injury and yes this one might be a bit serious but we need to give credit for Neymar for always being strong, we have been following him and his outstanding carrer since the start always with him in his ups & downs but he doesn't let that effect him & he comes back every time stronger than ever, for himself and for his fans. The least we can do is to be optimistic and support him regardless. I'm sure he gonna be better after the surgery, even if he is gonna miss this season, the most important thing is for him to be better and his ankle to be okay. It's not the end of his career, he still has big things to achieve, the copa America & the world cup and much more. I believe in him and his mentality.

We need to have faith in him. He is one of the most strongest players my eyes have ever seen, always getting back stronger and does his best. I believe in him and believe he will have a good recovery.

For now let's hope for the best. I hope everyone on my dash & my mutuals feel better. Take care of your self guys and stay strong. Spreading love and positivity bec i know that's what Neymar would do. <3

It's since been pointed out that while Lichtenstein did copy one of Russ Heath's drawings of an airplane getting hit, the painting depicted above was actually copied off Irv Norvick, because Lichtenstein did this so many times to so many comic artists.

In Lichtenstein's defense, he was doing this in a time when comic artists frequently weren't even credited in the issues themselves. In his condemnation, he never even tried to check, nor has he made any move to pay or credit any of the comic artists who recognized their own work later on. Rather than elevating the "low art" of comics, he was widening the gap of financial success and respect even further.

The Hbomberguy of this story is art historian David Barsalou, who has now spent decades tracking down the original art and the names of the original artists used in Lichtenstein's most famous output. Frequently copied were Tony Abruzzo, Ted Galindo, Mike Sekowsky, Joe Kubert, Jerry Grandenetti, and dozens more Golden Age artists who aren't very well known in comics circles, let alone art history books. Many of them died in poverty. That's something that the Hero Initiative, mentioned in Russ Heath's comic above, aims to prevent.

Also, Lichtenstein didn't even paint Ben-Day dots. That's a specific thing.
