I went outside today please be proud of me
For about a week solid I did not leave my dorm room with 2 exceptions, one of which being a fire alarm and the other being a thing I had to go to and was only outside very briefly to walk the like, maybe 200 feet there.
And! Today was extra difficult because my brain convinced me that if I stepped outside I would cause the apocalypse. (Woohoo delusions) but i did it! I was scared but I did it! And it was really nice

I never like it when people make blanket statements about DID, this is such a complex disorder and in making blanket statements for everyone with DID you're probably going to be wrong.
DID is mostly covert but there are overt presentations of the disorder. Some alters have similar personalities, some have very different personalities. Sometimes alters feel close together and like there's not a lot of separation between them. Sometimes alters feel completely different from each other and like their own people. Some switches may not be noticeable and other switches may be very obvious.
There are so many different ways of experiencing this disorder and they're all valid.

Anyway I'm not gonna touch that internalized lycanphobia with a ten foot pole. Being turned by your partner is something that can be incredibly intimate as long as both parties are consenting and the one being turned is 100% sure they want it. No man it’s just not organized and that’s the way it should be, creating a monoculture for paganism is potentially extremely dangerous to its themes of individualism and personal practices . Yeah we don’t have temples or pilgrimages but that’s because the grace of the natural world/ our deities can be found anywhere and everywhere we don’t need temples our own bodies are pagan temples. Our own flesh and bones are structures of divinity to us, we make altars in our houses and make those our blessed places. Most of paganism is heavily private of course you think it’s dead that and anytime western culture is faced with a polytheistic system it has an absolute hissy fit.

This cop is openly admitting that he will wear people down ("you have motivation to get out of that room, but my overtime is 56 dollars an hour, so I have no problem staying there for 10, 11 hours to try to get you to talk" [not an exact quote but pretty damn close to it]) and get them to talk so that way the case against them is easily won. This guy is talking about the tactics he uses to get people to talk and openly said "i was dealing with a sexual assault case, and had to talk ahout how hot the woman was and I understood where we was coming from, and the second I said that, we were buds." I. WHAT. (He did put the guy in prison but. Terrifying nonetheless that the police will say things and more importantly, do things that perpetuate sexual violence.

in light of police across the country cracking down on pro palestine protests with brutal force, it feels like a great time to remind everyone to shut the fuck up around cops. don't make small talk, dont act friendly, don't fucking engage with them!! if you are arrested DO NOT speak without a lawyer present. protest organizers, get into contact with local pro bono lawyers who can be there for your arrested comrades. no matter what, if cops are there, shut the fuck up unless you are actively doing a protest chant. dont tell cops why you were there, dont tell them if you're affiliated with the school you may be protesting at, dont tell them if you came there with anyone, dont tell them anything!!!
