I feel like you should keep doing what your doing whatever your doing this month take it in to may. this month with will be very chill the stress of last month you can finally take a breath and pause. I see you releasing a belief or thought and just letting it be what it is. There’s some type of calmness but also being in your head you may need to tune into yourself I see that your mind and heart are not on the same level but I do see you letting go of these thoughts. I’m getting “pause look around think and reflect”. you may be getting Deja Vu a lot this month as well or like things replaying in your dreams. But whatever you’re needing to release the difficult part is over. I do see you gaining money and spiritual growth. You may be really connected to water or the ocean.

A little late to the party but I finally watched episode 17 of dungeon meshi!

I'm an anime-only so I thought all the "Laios has autism" talk was just a popular headcanon, but no! They basically spelled it out this episode!

I see a lot of people absolutly demonizing Shuro because of how he reacted to Laios explaining himself, and while it is his fault for not giving it straight to Laios earlier (because come on, you said yourself that he's sincere and not picking up on subtle hints) , he's not evil either (if anything he sees himself as a hero and Laios' sincere & annoying obliviousness is throwing him off).

Shuro was raised in a different culture + he also just had a really terrible time lately and he just reached his breaking point. I mean:

He thought his crush died and it was a race against time to save her

Because of that he didn't take care of himself

It turns out Laios & crew already revived her with BLACK MAGIC but they lost her AGAIN because they angered THE LORD OF THE DUNGEON

All things considered Laios seems super chill and oblivious about the situation (as always) not like his sister's life is in danger

Aaaaaand then he finds out, because of the black magic, she fused with the dragon and might never be her real self again, ergo he'd have to kill her

Like, Laios is right, this man needs a break.

What I do find hilarious though is how Falin has all these qualities he doesn't like, but it's Falin so with her it's not enraging but ✨️enchanting✨️

She already knew about Marcille's black magic and was cool with it (in the flashback she was really interested in Marcille's ideas so she probably even encouraged it)

To the people of her class she was an outsider with weired interests just like Laios. The only difference is that he's very talkative and likes to overshare, while Falin seems more like a soft spoken, quiet type of day dreamer

She also doesn't seem to get social cues that well (she also fell for the scam + didn't seem to realize Shuro wanted more alone time with her when Laios joined them)

Apparently you can overlook quite a few things in a person when you're down bad for them.

Jason dumped his teddy bear jacket on the back of the spinning chair, after he checked there were no hedgehogs eating plum offcuts on it. He’d made that mistake one too many times. There were a lot of miniscule holes in the sleeves of his jacket.

The medical kit he was looking for was most likely in one of the crates stacked beneath the snake table. The table with the snake tanks on it, obviously.

Your cabin was dark a lot of the time, when you weren’t there, courtesy of the kingdom of nocturnal animals lurking between books and in pillowcases, so Jason had to turn on a few of the antique lamps you’d found [on the side of the road, of course] so that other people could see.

He got to his knees, wincing at the crack he heard.

He could also hear a faint hissing. He looked into one of the tanks, and waved at Benjamin. Benjamin was a northern desert night snake. Meaning he looked like if a leopard wearing a choker was turned into a slithery little serpent. Jason was glad you’d passed that pet leopard you used to have onto Pollux and Castor. It got fur all over his clothes.

Benjamin just stuck his tongue out at him, and Jason crawled underneath the desk, looking for the first aid kit every cabin was supposed to have.

There was a pretty high chance you had chucked it out to make room for that little collection of shrinking green frogs you had found in a river by the Hecate cabin, deep in the woods so that when they accidentally cursed bloodlines and the like, no one was in imminent danger. Lou Ellen owed her first born to three different beings, but that was irrelevant.

He dug past a few boxes of sugar glider pellets, and found the first aid kit.

“JASON GRACE, SON OF A BITCH, CHILD OF ROME, CONSUL OF DEMIGODS, PRAETOR OF THE FIRST LEGION!”

Jason sat straight up. A thud echoed through the low lit little cabin, and his head began to pound. He’d hit it on the bottom of the snake table. He sniffed, “I said that once.”

He heard you trot over as he tried to extract himself, the back of his head throbbing painfully.

“Babe, we talked about this,” you fussed, and yanked him out into the open with the force of someone who took chocolate out of coyotes mouths on the daily. “You gotta stop banging your head! You’re getting that chronic pain from it that Will told you about!”

Jason grumbled about nothing, and squinted as he looked around. Your face was just a blob.

“You dropped your glasses babe, hear, lemme… wait, hold this,” you said, dumping your wrapped up hoodie into his arms, the one with the moon cycle phases on the back, and then crawling back underneath the snake table. “I’ve got em!”

He watched you slide them back onto his eyes, your hands actually very gentle compared to the yanking from before. He tried not to grin stupidly. The hoodie in his arms wriggled. Jason looked down, and a small spiky red face looked up at him with big shiny eyes.

“Uh…” he said.

You stood up with a huff, “I knew it, you’ve got a concussion. Now you’re slurring your speech!”

“...No, I just wasn’t expecting a fox,” Jason managed to squeak out, staring at the little animal. It was pretty cute. It reminded him of a wolf, but not the wolves he knew, more of a spindly wolf dipped in ketchup.

You paused, the first aid kit in your hands. “You weren’t? What did you think I was doing in the forest?”

“I don’t know,” Jason said, standing back up and moving to the squishy blanketed bed behind the humongous crystal ball and stack of telescopes. There were also a few cat playgrounds to weave around, but he managed to sink into your pile of bat shaped teddies and pillows. “Fighting monsters, near death experiences, something regular?”

You rolled your eyes, and sat cross legged on the bed, reaching for his head with those gentle hands that made him understand how you could pick up the deadliest of spiders and feralist of wolverines without even a scratch.

Jason wasn’t even nocturnal, but he did sink into your hold.

Then you let go to crack the unfrozen ice pack and let the chemicals take over until it would make the tips of your fingers freezing. Jason knew to expect your cold hands under his shirt, trying to freeze him out.

He was sort of used to it, though.

He looked around your cabin while you savagely whacked the poor icepack against one of the many thick framed mirrors lining your walls. A few bats flapped out of their hiding places in the rafters and settled back down. A baby puma hissed from its place by the umbrella stand that was actually just full of swords.

From the outside, your cabin looked like a tiny portion of a haunted mansion plonked between the Asteria cabin and the Hestia cabin, which was really just a cozy little room for anyone. Jason pet the soft head of the fox napping in his arms. On the inside, though, it was just old lamps and chew toys and even older mirrors. And a lot of poo bags. And record players. And Jason’s hoodies.

You were already wearing his teddy bear jacket, but he didn’t argue when you pressed the ice pack to his head.

“So, what were you really lookin for in there, babe?” you asked, taking back the fox. You held your hand out, and it disappeared into a shadow.

“Bandages.”

On the other side of the room, out of a shadow, you grabbed a ziploc bag of raspberries. You pulled it back and began feeding the little fox, red staining your cold fingertips.

“You know you can’t beat Beth, right?” you teased, looking up for a moment with those gorgeous eyes that made Jason’s head feel a little floaty. Or maybe it was just the injury.

You smirked, “I mean, not that it’s totally not hot when you beat the shit out of people or anything.”

Yep. Definitely just the head injury. Totally.

Jason ate a slightly squashed raspberry. “I know, but I wanted to practise. I was gonna find Will. Can’t remember how to wrap my wrists.”

You passed over the fox, who wiggled out of the hoodie and curled around a fruit bat Squishmellow with a yawn, fangs stained with red that may or may not be berries or blood.

Jason shuffled forwards on the bed, ice pack falling from his white blonde hair. “My turn?”

“I thought you were going to get the shit beaten out of you by Annabeth?” You said with a smirk. You had that shark tooth necklace on. Jason gave you a half hearted evil eye, and you opened your arms.

He flopped into the hug, pushing you both back onto the bed. A Tasmanian devil [how? You were in America!] and a grumpy looking white tailed deer and about seven different types of bush mice stared at you.

Jason didn’t care. He snuggled into your hug, chin on your chest. Your fingers ran through his hair.

He was your favorite feral animal.

#random rambles #Technically I'm done with this month's header since yesterday.#Practically I've been feeling so insecure about it I've been procrastinating looking for an icon or uploading it at all #Like it *was* natural to have a downgrade in themes I've said it myself a lot of times. After 24+ themes it's understandable I'd run out–#of inspiration (or even simply material) for the very cool stuff #That said. I did very much spend the whole entire day from when I woke up to when I (started studying at past 2am) went to sleep on it #That's what I get for working with the anime tbh. Bones artstyle is ugly there's little to be done about it #While making it I also came up with other two themes concepts.#One is probably going to replace September's plan and the other idk will probably slid to the next year #Idk looking at this year's planned themes lineup it all feels full of things I'm not skilled enough to make...#On top of everything this February's theme wasn't even what I had initially planned!! The one I had initially planned was a chapter 33 pane #Idk why I didn't follow up with it. Maybe I've just grown to think manga panels are too simple (terrible choice) (rip)#I think the thing that bugs me with both the initially picked image and the anime header I made yesterday–#is that there's no smooth transition with the blog. And I know it's not a big deal but pretty much all my themes do and it's bothering me..#And it shouldn't. Like nearly everyone uses an header that is sharply separate from the blog and they make it work #Uhm..............#Idk I should be studying besides.#I think I'll either go looking for an icon and see how the overall theme looks on the blog. Maybe I'll like it better then.#Or I'll just start over and see if I can use the ch 33 panel I had in mind and see if I'll like THAT better #It'd just be a shame if after all the time I've spent on it yesterday I'd just let it lie unused on my computer #There's also the fact that black and white of the manga doesn't feel very February-esque... I think I just don't like animal #prints though. Striped parts of hair are cool though still actually to me unironically like. Wow.. truly amazing #I can be won over by anything that's gaudy/busy/over complicated. Once you think your outfit is perfect add 8 #more items. also they all should be different patterns. hghjbhj #ANYWAY.. I do like some of the concepts of some of the older fashion. Like t-shirt over a long sleeve shirt and they're both different #patterns. and then a skirt that's a different pattern. and some tights or socks that are also assymetrical or some like complimentary #other pattern. Stripes + plaid especially. Famous combination. And the having like 667495789789 little plastic bracelets. No idea what was #up with that since I'm too socially out of touch especially when I was in school (I remember hearing that like some colors #of bracelet mean different things or something) but it was an interesting aesthetic. And the wrist bands #The t-shirt is from walmart from when I think I wasnt even in middle school yet still late elementary school and I remember thinking it was #the coolest thing ever because usually you had to go to hot topic or something to get clothes with skulls on them. And it's so so weird look #ing like. the colors?? are ugly and shouldnt work but actually I still kind of like the aesthetic. green with pink and weird mustardy yellow #and gray??? Maybe I only like it because it has different patterns (skulls + checkers + dots + hearts)#Anyway it's a really funny t-shirt to me. One of those weird items that is captivating for some reason #And the hoodie I actually owned a long time ago too. but I think I got it later. I had one other skelanimals thing which was a jacket and it #was like 5 sizes too big for me which I loved. And I remember being really obsessed with the font they used on their tags and trying to #replicate writing that way. not the newer gothy one. but the old logo font like.. it looks like Curlz MT or something lol

REINA IS SO FUCKING SICK AND I CAN'T PLAY HER AGAINST REAL PPL I'M STUCK FIGHTING THE STUPID AI FUCK

#i have some christmas money lying around so i guess i'm just gonna have to buy an ethernet cable #my setup (if you wanna call it that) is really not conducive to getting wired up at all #but fuck man there's no way i'm gonna just not play this fucking game it's way too fucking sick #well at least i had plenty of time to play the story lol which for the first like 80% of it's runtime it's like hey this is fun #like it's not super boring & there are actually some really cool moments sprinkled in here & there #then there's the second-to-last jin/kaz fight which was kinda what i expected the finale to be #like ok they've got their big crazy final forms & they're gonna have their big over-the-top anime fight & that's all fine i guess #but then they have one last normal hand-to-hand fight #and speaking as a long-time hardcore tekken fan that last fight is one of the best most joyful experiences i've ever had with a video game #like i've always felt that jin's transition from tekken 3 to tekken 4 was such a cool melding of story with gameplay #like in story at the end of t3 he's betrayed by heihachi so in t4 he forcibly unlearns the martial art heihachi taught him #and this is reflected in gameplay by his moveset being completely different so them coming back around to that in t8 #and reinforcing the whole theme of jin accepting his past by LITERALLY GIVING YOU HIS TEKKEN 3 MOVESET IN THE FIGHT AGAINST KAZUYA #WHILE A REMIX OF HIS TEKKEN 3 THEME PLAYS???? GOD WHAT A FUCKING SEQUENCE!!! CHEF'S KISS MWAH MWAH MWAH #and then just the lovely little moments of fanservice. obvious stuff like kaz wavedashing or he & jin doing the namco logo thing 1 last tim #but then obscure stuff like jins t3 df1 glitch & kazuyas weirdo t4 re-stun combos?? like how many ppl are even gonna know about that shit??#they hella did not have to do that but they did & it makes me so so so happy #so yea the t8 story is like 80% a fun entertaining little romp & 20% the hypest shit i've ever ever ever seen #and also reina is the best new character namco have made for tekken since steve in t4 #it's funny cause in the whole leadup to t8 i was having a little trouble figuring out who i was gonna main #cause in t7 i spent most of my time bouncing around basically the whole cast before finally settling on julia near the end #obv no julia in t8 so i had to pick someone else & no one in t8 was really jumping out at me #lots of super cool characters that i'd already played quite a lot of but not really anyone that's like ok yea that's my fucking guy #lots of sick af potential secondaries but no main basically #then they released the reina trailer & i was like ok yea that's my fucking guy #sick design sick stage sick AS FUCK music & a bunch of mishima staples to go along with it???#she's got an electric? hellsweep? wavedash? flash punch combo? stonehead?#plus some heihachi specific staples? demon breath? heaven's gate? iron hand? fucking HUNTING HAWK??? then yea that's MY FUCKING GUY #so yea reina fucking rules & i just wanna play her against real ppl please for the love of fuck #OH ONE MORE THING THEY DID ANOTHER GREAT JOB WITH THE MUSIC. AT LEAST 3 NEW TRACKS ADDED TO THE TEKKEN PANTHEON OF ALL-TIME CLASSICS

akso not 2 brag but i had a fucking Awesome idea for my fairies..

#previously they were inorganic and thus didnt produce magic (which all living things produce In my universe) so they would like steal magic #2 etc etc. yk. and the pool as well but i gave rhat to my underworld so they cant Also be a pool #so naow. giggles. giggles. they r organic organisms they just produde very low amts of magic #So they take magic from dead thangs. like dead animals or dead humans.. its like a whalefall type situation #and i think they also like make thjngs out of the bones probably. bc my thought is the magic is released naturally with decay etc yk. like #the decomposers consume the body and each get a bit of magic #so fairies do that as well they just..consume mote bc they arent isry bitsy bugs #they r itsy bitsy and buglike but ykwin.#but ya. i rly love the idea of little travelling bands of fairies who go from like. corpse to corpse until each one is fully processed #yk. they might set up little temporary towns around a corpse if its especially big... my mind is so huge this is so cool i wish i was a #fairy in my oc world .#n i think fairies can Live without magic but like they prefer to have it. this is how i get my borrowerish guys in theyre judt fairies who #dont fuck abt with dead thangs.. i think the humans prolly think theyre seperate species bc they look a bit different #bc when u have nagic. Well it flows so fairies with magic have a very strong glow abt them. their skin is kind of translucent with da light #ykwin. and also idk why it would do this but i think maybe their hair floats up or something ^_^ that ones just bc j think its fun not 4 #any Real reasons.

everyone knows i like big cats like just as a literal they're little babies to me YEAH YEAH but i also love the like ... metaphorical way they appear in art as a subject and certain narratives especially when the lines are a bit blurred and there's something unsure about it. like a character who for all intents and purposes is a perfectly average incredibly human person who seems basically normal and then there is this fuck off big animal sitting directly behind them staring right at you and how the framing of this animal can change it from a monster stalking its prey to a caretaker protecting its charge to something being kept at bay for you the audiences protection to something being kept on an invisible leash I LOVE IT. i love it. this massive predator with superficial similarities to a house cat that could kill you but doesn't.

#🐾#i also like the uncertainty and unreality aspects for myself not sure if i'd lean into depicting it ever in art bc funnily enough a lot of #my delusions and such were centred around big cats LOL i used to be really scared of them bc of it too #and have like recurring nightmares of them also polar bears lol #but i think it's cool like has everyone seen that art piece of the little girl laying in bed #and a leopard is grooming her head and looking at the viewer #one of my favourite pieces i love it so much i love all the interpretations irs just so . agh. i love art lol #also i'm toying with my own characters which i've been trying to do more and i also love like #big animals acting as companions to characters as a trope like toothless style. a guy with a pet jaguar is awesome and etc #in fantasy context like it's just really cool IM A SUCKER !! idc if it's actually very played our #but anyway i have a guy who has a tiger and i think the tiger may be a metaphor and it's not really there But it is. i find that really #awesome. same with wolves the whole thing. just cool
