JK's Seven live

JK starts off announcing his new single Seven. He immediately says he knows people will be disappointed it is just a single and not an album, but don't worry, he is working on a "full" album. It irritates me that he feels the need to even acknowledge this. JUST BE HAPPY HE'S CREATING NEW MUSIC OF ANY KIND.

He says he likes it and thinks we'll like it a lot and to look forward to it.

My take on perhaps what the MV might be like? He says its a feel good song that fits this time of year and since it was filmed in Los Angeles, the land of palm trees, sunny days and beaches I would expect a lot of outdoor scenes, people having fun, etc... because if it was all filmed on a soundstage, what was the point of filming in Los Angeles? Also, not a single leak of a pic of JK on set anywhere soooo hmmm...

The actor Han Sohee is supposedly very popular and edgy and I would imagine her fanbase and his will dovetail perfectly and the MV will be a match made in marketing heaven. The contact may have been made through Tae and his actor network. We don't know.

... and sorry, this won't be a p*rno film where they will be doing the nasty... no matter how much the homophobes think it will be. I mean... seriously? JK? Who had to get over his bashfulness of posing for cameras with no shirt under his Calvin Klein denim jacket?

Jimin had to gently break it to us that there would be female dancers just touching him (while fully clothed) in the Like Crazy choreo... and y'all think Kookie is going to be inserting his [blank] into a [blank] on camera? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... HAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAA... AHAHAHAHAHAAAA....

Anyway...

He also explained his album process is one where he is still working out what his colors and voice are. Which tells me he is much like Jimin in that though he is part of BTS, his central being is not creating the music but performing it. I hope he learns a lot from this process and is able to express his colors and voice to his satisfaction.

He talks about "resting" for so long and how much he really enjoyed this lengthy personal time. Back in February when people were sounding the alarm that he was being held back and forced to stop work... welll... he just said he chose to be a lump on the couch for a long time and apologized. DON'T APOLOGIZE KOOKIE! He's been running as BTS since he was a middle schooler, he deserves to be a lazy lump, JUST LIKE THE LAZY LUMPS EVERY ONE OF YOU ARE WHO JUDGE HIM AND HIS CHOICES ALL THE TIME.

He says the song Seven came about after a meeting with Bang PD and he heard the song and said MINE! I can't wait to see what Kookie did. I suspect this is the song he was recording when we saw this:

They always try to show "a different side" of themselves in their work. Their photo shoots have run the gamut of concepts. But Jungkook has indulged in tattoos and piercings for a few years now, experimenting first with the fake studs on his eyebrows before plunging in (literally) with a real eyebrow piercing.

You look like a cuddly bunny? Like a sweetie? Cuz you are?

His desire to be less "round" and more "sharp" is intriguing. Edgy is what I believe he's going for. His personality is edgy but perhaps not in the way he perceives "edgy" to mean. So he wants an outward appearance of edgy: tattoos, piercings, the whole motorcycle aura thing which reminds me, when are we going to see him straddling one of the bikes he supposedly owns?

Oh this explains everything...

A TMI: he just had an English lesson earlier. He says the order is difficult and I know exactly what he's talking about. The sentence structure of English and Korean are not the same. English is subject-verb-object, example: Dogs eat kibble. Korean is subject-object-verb: Dogs kibble eat. Also, English past/present/future participles are HARD for those learning English. The brain has to do some mental gymnastics in translating. Takes a lot of practice. He's very good at reading English and pronouncing what he reads. I suspect his struggles with English are conversational English and vocabulary. Not only do you have to recall the correct words to say what you want, you have to construct grammatically correct sentences as the words leave your mouth and its really hard to do that. I am certain he 100% understands English when it is spoken to him.

Another TMI: he had been at the company earlier, and ate buckwheat noodles...

I feel the need to further explain some misleading terminology people are constantly throwing around... not all noodles are "ramen" or "ramyeon". I already explained the difference between "ramen" as Japanese style and "ramyeon" as Korean style but ramen/ramyeon noodles themselves are made of wheat. When Jimin was asked specifically about did he go to Jungkook's for ramyeon, and he said no, he has not been to Jungkook's for ramyeon... but perhaps he's been there for buckwheat noodles which are gluten-free and are what JK used in that last dish he posted a pic of on Weverse. We already know JK has been told to lay off the gluten.

Anyway... back to JK.

He explains his 20/4 intermittent fasting. Some call it the "warrior diet." No eating for 20 hours and then a 4-hour window to eat. This type of eating pattern may impact metabolism and glycemic levels in your blood. If he's been told to lay off the gluten, this type of eating pattern may also be a way of controlling certain levels of blood chemistry throughout the day, especially if he's also working out. The timing of the eating pattern also makes a difference and what you eat during the four hours also impacts the effectiveness. That's all I know about it. Just keep in mind, all the members have a staff of professionals helping them stay healthy and when they say "diet" they don't mean they have eating disorders or are doing anything extreme that would hurt their health, they are following the advice of their trusted professional staff. Jungkook says his eating window is from about 7-8 pm until midnight or so.

After going on for a minute or two about how awesome yet cute Yoongi is, he says he wants to be like that, play instruments and sing and dance and be awesome too but...

I'm only 18 minutes into this 1 hour 50 minute live...

My explanation to Jungkook: there is a complex war of wills happening in the comments where different factions of the fandom attempt to impose control over each other using the "report" function in the live chat. And that some comments, seemingly innocent of motive, "touch your hair", "touch your nose", "make a funny peace sign with both hands", are actually an attempt to coerce you into sending secret hidden signals to those watching in order to confirm that you are half of a "hidden" couple within the group and that you are being controlled and forbidden from living your life freely. These hand gestures (that only they know) and the places on your face that you touch are being intercepted and analyzed and fed into a software program as you speak so that these idiots ... conspirators ... dumbasses um, individuals, can prove their baseless ... ridiculous ... disrespectful ... selfish ... uh ... their fantasies are real. For real. Don't laugh. Ok go ahead and laugh because that's everyone's first impulse.

But for real, stop fiddling with your new piercing because it might get infected if you are constantly touching it with your fingers.

As I've been making my way through this live, I've also been kept in the loop about a few things... Celine show has been cancelled. I was concerned that one of ours was in Paris while this turmoil was ongoing so hopefully Tae can get out of there. Maybe he can zip over to London and visit his bae at some point before heading back to Korea.

And hopefully no one gets triggered by this post since I kept it clean-ish. People are ready to call them lovers but saying they might be into certain sexual preferences is off limits? Seriously, check your prejudices before you start coming at me.

JK Seven MV making sketch BTB

Yay, the subs are back on. And I got to watch it and even understand what he was saying, lol.

Loved it.

I was just sitting here for the 12 minutes with a huge smile on my face.

Because JK is just so adorable. So genuine. So real.

He had the time of his life, and seeing that just made me happy.

Now let's talk about a few thing I took from the BTB, why don't we?

I think I'll start from the fun and make my way to the more serious.

Not too much went on really. It's mostly him enjoying himself.

Being his own chaotic loveable self.

Trying to keep his eye open with the water pouring down on him, lol.

Can you imagine just how much fun this all was for him, our daredevil?

Funny, just thought about it, but they didn't even talk to Hun Sohee. Not a word. She might as well not have been there. Now I understand that JK is the focus, it's his song, BTBs are about the members, but at the same time, she's a well known and loved Korean actress acting in his MV and not only don't we get to hear from her even once, we also don't really get to see interactions between him and her in the BTB. In a way it feels like they are trying to keep this distance - this is JK, he's singing Seven, he's shooting a MV, but he's disconnected from it. I'm not sure I'm being clear enough here.

Ok, so for example JK explains what the scenes are and says the word girlfriend, god forbid. We know y/ns went into a frenzy over this stupidity. JK explaining the concept of the scene in which he's fighting with his gf, cause that's what the MV is about, and she's his gf in the bloody MV.

But maybe, knowing this fandom, they wanted to keep the delusion to a minimum, not to mention keep Sohee away from the crazy ass fans that are already harassing her by just keeping her off camera as much as possible. Idk, just found it interesting.

JK tells us a little about his acting, lol.

To all those that are still riding the scripted fanservice bandwagon, time to fucking get off it.

Omg, the way he disses Yoongi, he just LOVES to do that with Yoongi. Now I can kind of understand the "even at 60 years old jeon jungkook will be freaking annoying".🤣🤣

Looks at them in amazement, shows everyone, then back to looking at them again all fascinated.

You'd think the man has never in his lifetime taken a long shower or had a bath or been in the damn swimming pool. Nah, lol. It's just one of those cute loveable oddities of his.

Did we notice the ASSets?

And I thought JM was in charge of that body part in the family.

Well, apparently the competition is on.

And now I will take a moment to breathe.

I went looking for more pics from the BTB and came across this:

I don't know enough about the movie but do we know of any kind of connection to Jikook? Or this could be the directors tribute to the movie too. In any case it's a fun tribute.

Now for the heavy stuff, or not so heavy just a little more on the serious side.

I wrote a long ass brain fart of a post yesterday. And some of it is very relevant here too.

JK clearly sees the song as a love song. Period.

He did the explicit version for the fun of it (well and also probably because the America market loves a song with profanities in it). But for him it's the fun of not being restricted by the Kpop rules of engagement, the "don't swear because the song will be censored" and "don't swear because it's too adult" or whatever other reasons for it. He's having fun feeling more freedom, and that he's all grown up and can say fucking multiple times out loud.

But when it comes down to it, when asked about it directly, his answer was that he prefers the clean version. Because to him Seven is a love song, not one about the physical act alone. Yes, of course sex is part of it (the song lyrics are kind of loud), but sex is not even half of what loving someone is all about.

We saw JK talking about the love of his life while explaining about the song.

The more we get of JK talking about the song the clearer and louder it becomes. I just wish people would only be listening to him.

it's definitely because of the visuals and the dynamic they show on screen, he thinks she delivers the emotions that he's conveying through the song. I think the music video is a couple that looks very good together, but doesn't actually work out. it might be about heartbreak and she's really good at acting like that, she's just a really emotionally charged actress. and they look good together. it might be a bonnie and clyde thing or just two people who are so obsessed with each other that they can't let it go. it's hard to tell what's the concept, but he chose her very specifically because of the type of acting that she does and her aesthetic/beauty for sure, she fits the idea.

I heard "he's a smart kid", she really likes the finished work, she admires him as an artist and she's really satisfied with the project. i think it's different from what she's used to, so it was a good new experience for her, something new for her repertoire (idk if she's ever been in music videos, but I think that's what it's talking about). she's definitely being affected by the hate she is receiving and I think she feels it will get worse once it's released. nonetheless, it was a really good opportunity and business, she seemed to have gotten along easily with him, they have on screen chemistry, which is necessary. I think she admires him even more after seeing him working behind the scenes, cause she got to see the process.

I think this is obviously talking about fan treatments first of all, the queen of wands reversed is standing out to me as a bully and a condescending, jealous individual, I think he's unsatisfied with the response and is (again) expecting it to get worse after it's release. he may be feeling nervous of ruining her reputation and overthinking his idea to cast her. I wouldn't be surprised if the company has been preparing for this for a long time (aka the enhypen comeback). either way, he feels that he needs this, to free himself from the bts baggage, he's been in the same group since he was a kid, a child, he thought deeply about it. he's excited! this is his baby, he's never done anything like this, to be in control of your own art and work after so many years, it feels good. he also really admires her, or else he wouldn't have chosen her, right? she's the empress, she's making the song have actual legitimacy and professionalism, beauty, he feels that she's making the music video what it is, that she's the reason why it's so good (i mean, she is a hella good actress)

Idk if it's insecurity or thinking about all possibilities lol but I'm starting to think JK is dating sohee. He could've selected any actress to feat on his MV but he particularly selected her in a sexy mv.

As you know Wooga squad always date between their mutual friends. We have Taennie and now Park seo Joon and Jennie's youtuber friend. So hee is also very close with wooga squad and now JK is also close with them. During premieres, there was no need for JK's attendance there, still he went. And you can see he being suddenly so exicted when sohee's name was announced by MC. He literally whipped his head while he was walking away from venue. So maybe he met her through them and is dating her now ?

And if you look without any bias Sohee is literally his female version and ticks all of his ideal type column including being elder than him to feed his ever famous noona kink. Tbh sohee fits it way more than what we thought Jimin is what his ideal type is. I won't be surprised if he fell in love with someone who's exactly like him. And I'm expecting that dating confirmation anyday (tho it won't happen like Taennie didn't) so I'll be less sad about Jikook lol. I think I shouldn't be hyped about Jkk anymore and slowly stop shipping them at all as at the end it will be not positive.

Jungkook said in 2015 if he was a girl he would date a guy like Jimin. His ideal type was always changing and it always looked more and more like JM. In 2015 it was just the beginning.

JK also recently said cute is totally his type and do you know whom he called cute 100 times? Jimin.

And armys used to say him and Jk are these artistic souls when actually Tae fucks around instead of making music and Jungkook doesn’t have one thought in that himbo head and it’s letting Scooter Braun do everything for his career

The way Jimin's career so far has been about Jimin and Jimin only ☝️ and pdogg maybe. He does come to mind sometimes when I think about FACE because he's been supportive and Jimin has mentioned him a lot too.

Anyways, as I was saying, in the end face is just Jimin. If there ever was any mention of JK in relation to face, it was because shippers blew out of proportion his involvement in letter. The rest was Jungkook himself but never nothing initiated by Jimin.

JK will have starved and rabid shippers supporting his content now with whatever Jimin filmed with him.

Tae, he's always hung off of the wooga squad in literally everything he's done since the hiatus. In the soop, his trips to Paris with Lisa and Bogum, that kitchen show. He's always been around them and involved professionally too. One time he was even in a radio show with one of his friends.

This model is friends with everyone in paradise group too. And friends with Taehyung, obviously. I remembered people speculated during the year if maybe JK wasn't involved with them lately as well, and when Han Sohee was confirmed, people also pointed out how she's part of that squad. I'm not dismissing all of these "coincidences".

Anon who didn’t like the mv here! honestly it’s probably just a matter of personal taste. i didn’t like the colors, the outfits, the vibe.. it’s good cinematography but i find it a bit tacky and outdated? I love the 80s vibes the song has but for some reason for the mv it didn’t work for me. A bit too MJ inspired also maybe? idk, it didn’t left a big impression on me, i watched it a few times but it’s not a mv I’ll go back to regularly. Well, I’m saying this but i usually don’t watch the mv again anyway… surprisingly i liked the Seven mv more (not the song…), Jk’s acting wasn’t good but i find it cute (i know there’s a debate regarding that one). His acting seems to have improve so in that aspect it’s better.

SNTY is primarily giving off 80s vibes, but it also sounds even more retro than that in some aspects, so this type of style suited it, in my opinion. JK's styling at certain parts is giving me the impression of an old times gangster (like in Pinky Blinders or Boardwalk empire) and I am sucker for those, so maybe that's why I like it so much. Perhaps the girls' outfits could have been a little bit more retro than she would have matched more esthetically with JK. It's definitely heavily inspired by MJ, almost in a sort of tribute way, but I don't really mind it since it was done well imo.

I also don't watch videos frequently anymore, especially with how insufferable YouTube is if you are not a premium user. Streaming platforms are much easier for me nowadays, but I always make an exception for BTS. I try to watch the mvs from time to time, to help with views etc.

Anyway, Seven was a good MV. The story was cute, and there was a lot of effort put into the different scenes. Sohee also did a great job at portraying the main character, so I enjoy it.

The MV for 3D was not done well in any way for me. Its only redeeming quality is that JK looks great wet, and that's about it. Then again, I have other problems with that song, so maybe I am not very objective.

Jungkook barely hold Han Sohee’s hand in the Seven MV but they’re now expecting a kiss or ‘intimate’ scenes? lol y’all can’t be serious, setting yourself up for disappointment every time. I think she’s most likely going to play some sort of love interest (I’m starting to get so bored with those mediocre pop love songs..) but if they dance together and he barely touches her it will be a milestone already lmao

and yeah let’s not talk about the lack of chemistry in Seven.. from Jungkook’s part imo cause Sohee is a freaking good actress and she was convincing

Anon, you took the words right out of my mouth. All of them. I’ve been dreading this release tbh. The way this fandom moves around Jungkook really really bothers me. I can’t stand it. If a bunch of y/ns try to flood my ask box tomorrow, I’m just going to block them. Nothing I say matters to them, and I’m tired of trying to explain myself. It’s boring and exhausting. I also probably won’t watch the music video. 🤭 I don’t know why I let the “noise” of the fandom bother me but we can’t watch anything without sexualizing Jungkook, and as an ace person, it infuriates me if I’m choosing my words appropriately. I have no problem with him dancing with women or having a female lead in a music video, but the way that this fandom acts so immature and blows everything out of proportion isn’t for me. It’s not good for my mental health, and I would rather be left alone. I know I won’t be convinced anyway because like you said and I agree with, Jungkook is a terrible actor 😅 but we know this and we love him anyway. So yeah, I’ll be taking a backseat regarding the release of Golden. I’ll listen to the album, listen to any songs that I like often and that’s it. I’m over Chapter 2. I want the tannies back. This solo chapter brought nothing but fandom infighting, toxic solo stans, and straight dumpster fire trash if you ask me. Wake me up when it’s 2025.

Sunmi talking about her brief time with the Wonder Girls in the United States

In case you're one of the weirdos that don't know what the Wonder Girls were up to before REBOOT, they debuted in the United States with an English version of Nobody in 2009 and then went back and forth between the US and South Korea until 2012. After their American debut and charting on the Billboard Hot 100 they were touring with the Jonas Brothers and appeared on the Wendy Williams show. At this point Sunmi was so sad and homesick they she quit the group entirely, with Hyerim being taken out of "Chinese Wonder Girls" (that would later become miss A) to replace her since she was a good dancer and also already knew English and Mandarin Chinese (another market their briefly touched upon in early 2010 before Sunmi quit)

Sunmi has been very open about her feelings on their time in the US and being forced to leave and it always make me mad because the only reason they were even there to begin with is because JYP wanted to play Hollywood socialite. He opened an American subsidiary of his company in New York, sent teenager Min in exile to train under Lil John for an American solo debut that never materialised, and was front and center in ALL American endeavours of the girls. He's in the Nobody MV, he's in the 2 Different Tears MV, he's in the Like Money MV and he even has a part in their Teen Nick movie like... Sunye has even said that when he announced to them that when they were going to the US she refused to speak to him for weeks.

When Hyerim, Yubin and Yeeun decided to regroup in 2015 Sunmi decided to join them and they were like "no are you crazy, you just started a successful solo career on your own" but, obviously, she wasn't done with the Wonder Girls, she was just done with being exiled in the US as a TENNAGER. Sohee was a teen as well and she had to deal with pretty much what Sunmi describes plus being constantly harassed by the SUPER JUNIOR predator whenever she was back in Korea like...

I know they all have good relationships with JYP but I would have personally scratched his car (or face) multiple times if I were them.

Like, imagine if YG added a verse of his own in the American rerelease of 2NE1's I Am the Best or Soo-man got a cameo in the American MV for The Boys. JYP has this goofy easygoing image but he's just as big an asshole as all the others, if not bigger

I love the use of words in the description: "invigorating" as in getting the blood pumping and juices running, because it's so damn hot?

I'm super excited, can't wait to see what JK has installed for us.

That said, I feel the need to address a couple of things that have been making the rounds in JKK blogs.

Yes, stupid y/n anons and their shit asks all being smug and confident about absolutely nothing they actually know. And I wouldn't entertain this shit, but I do want to make a couple of points here and this is a great opportunity to do so.

Let's start with the rumour, yes, it's a rumour and not confirmed even if in their asks they say it is, that the song is about sex. I mean, I could make the assumption that having 2 versions of it could mean that.

Although explicit can mean use of swear words, you do know that? But let's run with it being explicit as in all about sex. 7 days a week of invigorating, blood boiling (in a good way), juices running, sex having. Let's just say it's about that.

Does that mean it's straight sex? Cause I can assure you that our y/n anons have definitley not gotten their hands on the lyrics, have not seen them or read them or heard the song. So, let's scratch that assumption, why don't we?

I would actually like to teach the anons a lesson in life, maybe something they don't know yet, perhaps due to ignorance and immaturity, but hey, here's a little wittle secret... queer people, you know, gay, lesbian, bi, etc., they do have sex, with each other (yeah not each other each other, you know what I mean, lol), A LOT, all the time, sometimes, gasp, 7 days a week.

Mind blowing, right?

So I guess we established that a song about sex does not necessarily mean a song about straight sex.

Moving on.

2 translations. From both we learn that this IS NOT a song that JK wrote. This is a song he was given to record, a song he listened to, liked and decided to do.

This is super important. Because this is what makes the difference between a song being personal, having a personal meaning, something he wrote and created, and we know that JK writes about his personal experiences, and a song that is not personal, a nice song he liked and wanted to record. Not that unsimilar to many of his covers or songs he likes to sing when he's doing karaoke.

And perhaps this is also why it's being released as a single and maybe not part of his solo album? Although it could be on the album, but I kind of feel that for a first solo album, he would want to do more personal. Maybe that's also why he told us the album is not done and this is something totally separate. Who knows. What we do know though, is that this was not a song he wrote.

Anyway, this is important, because this song will be JK as a performer more so than a creator, if you get where I'm going here. The song is not a personal creation or envision of himself in real life. It's him singing, as an artist, a song that someone else wrote. People sometimes forget that as artists not everything you sing about or act or write is personal or about yourself or your life or your experiences. We know, from JK, that when he writes he does take from his own life experiences, his writing is very personal, but in this case this isn't a song he wrote, and I know I'm repeating myself here, but this is very important to understand and remember.

Ok, moving on to the MV and the claims, again rumour based, of Sohee being in it.

Let's establish a couple of baselines here shall we?

First of all anons did not see the MV so they have zero clue who's in it and what it's about. Every word they spew with regards to that MV is one big hot y/n assumption based on unsubstantiated rumours.

Second, as mentioned, we don't know who is in this and what it's about.

Now let's play around a little, make this a fun guessing game of what ifs and so whats, lol.

What if Sohee is in the MV? Ok, what if? I think the anons need to go look up who Hun Sohee is and what's been the talk surrounding her (cough queer cough) before rejoicing that she might be in JK's MV.

Btw, clear example of a very possibly queer actress acting in straight rolls. And if you want to go the other side of this, flip the coin and assume she's straight, well you will get a straight actress who has acted in a queer movie. Either way works for me to prove the point.

What if the song is about sex? I guess we kind of discussed this before, didn't we?

Now let's add the two together.

What if the song is about sex and Hun Sohee is in it? To that I will add a question to the anon/s that most definitley have not seen the MV as of yet and will be happily (or maybe not too happily) be watching it with us on the 14th of July 2023, Silver day, at 13:00 KST: What if the MV is filled with sex, all kind of sex, straight sex, queer sex, upside down or inside out sex, (whatever your fancy as long as you are a consenting adult)? What if JK is singing about sex and the MV is about sex, a whole lot of it, with a whole lot of it going around him, and not all of it is straight? You know, just like Troye Sivan's MVs. That would be a very interesting what if. Can't wait to hear their answer to that one.

Oh, and here's the kicker what if.

What if it's none of the above?

What if all of this is a load of bull rumours and Sohee has nothing to do with the MV (she was in LA for a fashion event), and there is no sexual content in the MV, and it's all about the listener using their own imagination? What if?

I guess we will ALL just have to wait and see.

I will tell you this though. Whatever Koo does, I trust him. Y/ns will always assume what they want to. I don't believe that he will intentionally play into it. This man is not straight. Period. He is a smart young man, who has been telling us for years now who he is as a person, and he will not backtrack on that just to fulfill the y/ns dreams about him because that's what the company might want. So whatever he does might get their juices running (let's be honest, not might, more like will), but it will be done in a way that allows for interpretation. This is of course an opinion and nothing more, but hopefully one that will prove itself right.

No because that breed (no disrespect to other Amazing Army on Tiktok this is not targeting you) can be absolutely horrifying and disgusting.

Now besides the whole disaster of Y/N povs where they sometimes paint the boys as sexual assaulters, insist on the “girlfriend” povs assuming their sexuality being straight yet jump at your neck for saying that maybe they are queer because “DON’T ASSUME THEIR SEXUALITY” um.. Okay Margaret

Now after the Naver article that came out about how Han Sohee is part of the MV “Female lead, main character, starring in the MV” not sure which one is more accurate because in a way the 3 of them can mean 3 different things but whatever, they’ve been absolutely disgusting about this whole thing.

People pointed out how Sohee is so JK coded, she gives off the same vibe as him and naturally a lot of Army commented stuff like “She’s basically the female version of him” or “They can easily pass as siblings” to which motherfuckers would comment “Couple” “You just don’t want to say couple because it shatters your fantasy” bullshit like that. I don’t want to put any links because quite honestly i don’t want to give these people more engagement than what they already have for shitty ass theories. Hi, I'm jimin-biased but I absolutely adore the other BTS members as well. I also know that jikook is highly likely real, but a part of me wishes that jk is indeed dating someone else instead, or that the mv would really show him doing tonsil hockey with sohee. What he's going to do in the mv is not indicative of his gender preference, yes, but I know that other people will see it as such, so be it. I only wish these things because I know that they will perhaps somehow lessen Jimin being dragged everywhere (mostly by tkkers). Jimin has become the punching bag in literally anything even if it doesn't directly involve him, and it's tiring.

So, if JK being steamy with someone in official content (though it sounds stupid) can help relieve the hate that Jimin is getting, then why not? It's kinda moot to expect fans to change and stop hating on JM now, so if official content like this can make them lose their mind, then I'm all ears.

I respect jimin's bond with JK, don't get me wrong, but from a fan's perspective, it seems like jimin's always getting the shortest end of the stick. he doesn't deserve it. JM's did not even get the best promotion and he even is still getting so much hate. It's not JK's fault, but I see him as somehow complicit as he has always been the company's fave and he can get away with everything, so I just wish JM becomes free from all the toxic narratives and projections. Jimin is his own person, and he deserves so much more.

This. This is what I'm concerned with the most.

Sure Jikook boundaries and the parasocial relationship with Jk and all that..sure.

But to me, what matters is the outcome for Jimin. I would like to think like you, anon, and hope that Jk being physical with Sohee in this video would bring less hate for Jimin but I don't think that would happen. But then again, why would tkkrs even hate on Jimin if half their ship is dating a woman and the other half would be participating in a raunchy video with a woman, if rumors are true.

I know it's art. I know that. But I'm having a hard time coming to terms with this potentially dragging Jimin again. And it feels like Jk and Jm have made so much progress for it to go down the drain by the potential portrayal of whatever will be portrayed, if rumors are true.

But then I remind myself that they must be ok with it. And it's the toxic fandom that seriously needs help. I see jikookers say they would drop jikook, which is fine but don't drop Jimin. He truly deserves much more than what this shitty fandom and company has given him. Just don't drop Jimin.

So as a Jimin fan, I completely understand all this.
