As much as I absolutely adore JK, do you sometimes just get a tiny bit of the giggles thinking about black leather “My Time” JK in the boots with heels? Because the dancing and the tight pants are so of that moment. I love JK in tight jeans as an absolute rule, but “My Time” JK rarely comes out….although we did catch a glimpse with the CK ad in the parking garage. That JK is so fleeting, flamboyant and genderless. It makes me think he masks his genderlessness quite a bit. Girl group dances are another moment where we see that JK. This is a weird ask. LOL.
Nope I don't giggle, though of the two MOTS ON:E My time performances and in terms of JK's genderfluidity I'd select day two and this outfit...
It's very glam rock, which was a byword for pressing those gender norms back in the 70s. I feel JK's black leather outfit was clearly about masculinity and possibly evoking Elvis and his hip thrusts. With the red one JK and it's billowy nature evokes freedom and exy in a more fluid manner.
JK performs on stage in a more masculine/aggressive way with certain songs, but that doesn't mean he can't go in the opposite direction.
