I have been so excited about this project!! 3D printed a pair of iterator antennae headphone attachments :D

The size is measured to my Philips TAH4205 headphones so they clip on without any glue or tape, .STL files and .UFP files (formatted for Ultimaker S3 printers through Cura) are included here!

These are fresh off the 3D printer, I plan to paint them silver tonight to seem more metallic >:]

The patronizing tone that he used certainly doesn't help, but he had not been in control of his emotions that day, or ever, if he were being honest. Truth be told, he was starting to think that maybe he had judged them quite harshly, or perhaps he should give them another chance. So, he stops in his tracks before he reaches his office, turns around and walks back towards her desk. "You want to know what you've done wrong? Well, it's your job to keep my calendar up to date, and make sure that I don't miss anything important on that calendar, and that doesn't just mean the meetings with clients. It includes the personal events, like my sister's birthday, which I haven't exactly forgotten about, but I can't be at her party tonight because I'm having dinner with my biggest client, which you should already know. You're supposed to make my life easier, make sure that I can go to that meeting and get the job done without any distractions. But instead, you're causing more distractions in my life than I need, and honestly... I'm done." He sighed, shaking his head. "Caitlyn, you don't mean nothing to me. You're just... supposed to mean nothing to me, and you don't. You know what? Just forget it. Call up the clients and ask to reschedule the dinner. Sometimes you just have one of those moments where the progress we've made as a culture get thrown into stark relief. You look at something and go "Holy shit, that would never have happened when I was a kid."

Today, I had one of those moments when I realized that the teenage boys I'm working with are just. genuinely, openly enthusiastic about going to Build-a-Bear for their outing.

These are sixteen and seventeen year old boys! They just had a whole conversation about what to name their "cute", mostly new squishmallows! They're genuinely excited that they're going to Build-a-Bear this weekend and asking other kids to pick up specific accessories for them!!

Holy shit, that never would've happened when I was 16. None of the boys would have dared to be visibly interested - and neither would most of the girls! There would have been a million gay jokes and "Haha, you're a girl" jokes and "What are you, a baby?" jokes. Teenagers weren't even supposed to care about anything back then!

Less than 15 years later, and I'm watching three 17 year old boys treat all that as not even worthy of comment.

So let's call that a reason for hope. Even when the kids aren't alright, in some ways apparently they are alright. Go Gen Z, honestly. It's so lovely to watch you guys just openly doing and saying stuff that, when I was a teen, would've been a social death sentence.
