Rebekah stood before the archway of the abattoir, gathering what little courage she could find to face her family empty-handed once again. Since her darling niece Hope went missing, nights in the Mikaelson compound had been restless, to say the least. Niklaus was ever the more paranoid and broken, his redemption slipping further and further from their fingers with each passing moment, as Hayley fell into a deep and spiraling depression. Elijah, of course, remained the glue that held everything together, as much one could after losing a child to your enemies that is. The lot suspected their aunt Dahlia was not dealt a finishing blow in their most recent confrontation. However, now it seemed no one was quite so certain she was responsible for the abduction. That's when Rebekah heard a rustling coming from the shadows behind her, and she let out a loud, exasperated groan, bracing herself for either a violent encounter or an endless lecture. When she heard the voice of an unfamiliar man, she turned quickly to face him. "The bloody Clave," she repeated. Freya and Kol had mentioned something of an organization that protected the balance of the supernatural world. Something Marcel tried himself to do himself in the big easy, only this was on a much larger scale. 》°•♡ Rebekah looked the boy up and down for a moment. Desired Character: The selfless and compassionate Elena Gilbert.

Why?: Since the very very early ages of TVD, I have been devoted to the gloomy graveyard girl known as Elena Gilbert. Her selfless actions and love for her friends is something I genuinely love playing out within a character. It also brings so much room for growth and change. Elena is like an onion to me and you have to pull back the layers of her to see more and more. She’s more than just the innocent damsel in distress that she’s often portrayed out to be. Elena is strong. She knows death and dismay. She knows love and the hardships that come from it. At such a young age she has been through hell and back and she’s still standing. I admire her strength and devotion to find a way to get up in the morning and keep going. She doesn’t give up. Which is why I will always pick Elena because I relate to that strength and that struggle. And in this verse, I enjoy that there’s more than just this teenage girl. She’s older, a little more mature, she’s lived more of her life. So she’s got a different head on her shoulder than the one we’ve all seen on the television series. She still feels similar to the Elena we know and love but she’s grown and aged in her personality and her mind. And I like the idea of playing that out and seeing how she reacts to this verse and everything happening around her.

Character Pronouns: She/Her.

Sexuality & Ships: My version of Elena is heterosexual and as far as ships go, I’m always 100% Elena x Chemistry. But I also love Elena x her humanity, Elena x compassion, Elena x strength, Elena x being true to herself and her decisions. Everyone loves a good ship, but as far as Elena is concerned and how I have played her in the past, I really love to see her grow and this is a great way she can grow outside of what we’ve seen on TVD! Since everything is so different here.

Occupation: Medical Student. Elena is trying her hardest to focus on her schooling and studies. This is what feels normal to her and she doesn’t want to let go of it. The reason she’s struggling to keep the focus on it, but now that Klaus is letting her live, she wants to go back to trying to live her life, which means continuing with school.

Headcanons:

THE BRACELET: On Elena’s twenty-first birthday, her mother gave her a bracelet that matched with her mother’s own. During the crash, Elena lost hers but her mother’s was still at their home and since then, Elena hasn’t taken it off. She ended up putting vervain in one of the lockets too, similar to the necklace that Stefan gave her, that she later lost after everything with the Originals. Now she wears it on her wrist and it’s a reminder to always try and remain pure in the midst of everything.

CARDIOTHORACIC: While Elena hasn’t started her medical program yet, she has her eyes set on Cardio. She doesn’t know why but something about working with the human heart appeals to her and it’s where she thinks she could be her strongest. Of course, she has no idea what’s going to happen or if she’s ever going to actually make it to a real intern program.

TRAINING: Before the attack of the Originals, Elena had been training to fight if she ever needed to. However, after everything, that training has amplified and she trains every morning before the day starts. She’s living her life in fear right now, despite trying to go about things, but she feels she needs to be prepared for everything to come.

HARD LIQUOR: Elena hates hard liquor. She doesn’t really drink, despite her life in high school and even her age now. She’ll go out and have fun, but drinking isn’t something she likes and if she does drink, she will drink wine or beer because liquor makes her feel like she’s losing control.

IMMORTALITY: There’s only one moment in her life thus far where Elena fancied the idea of being a vampire. She will forever stand behind her desire to never be one but there was one moment with Damon of all people that the idea appealed to her. She refuses to admit it or let herself remember it because she feels like if she does, everything she’s fought so hard for will be worth nothing.
