RWRB Headcanon

I've been reading a lot of RWRB fic lately and I think we as a fandom have overlooked Bea's potential to piss off the monarchy. Hear me out.

It's canon that Bea does charity work to support addiction recovery.

So when Henry moves to New York Bea starts looking for ways to expand her charity to North America.

She's not planning on doing anything major. Just something that gives her an excuse to visit Henry and Alex in the States.

But then when she's doing research she comes across a story from Canada.

And Bea knew the Crown had done some bad shit but it's not the sort of thing she's encouraged to learn about.

Bea keeps researching and she learns about the Indigenous people in Canada and how they lack the resources they need to handle addiction in their communities.

So Bea visits Canada and starts setting up a charity that helps the Indigenous access addiction recovery resources.

The Crown doesn't particularly like this.

Acknowledging system injustice? Recognizing the Crowns responsibility to fix problems they create? How dare she?

Bea is not discouraged. She goes on to spend as much of the Crown's money as she can furthering Truth and Reconciliation and supporting indigenous voices.

All the while living her best life an aro/ace badass.

Occasionally visiting Henry and Alex who at this point have moved to Texas where they live with their adopted kids and David (who is immortal).

Do you ever think about Arthur Fox meeting Alexander Gabriel Claremont-Diaz?

Arthur has always been the person that consoled Henry, he was always the one who protected Henry, held his hands in the dark days and it didn't matter that he was 22 and a grown up, sometimes he'd just wanted Arthur to brush his hair, to remind him that he's loved.

Arthur has always known how to remind Henry that it's okay that his heart is outside of his body, it is okay to be tender, soft, loving, and sensitive. He was always there for his youngest.

Then Alex Happens.

Now Alex is the one that brings Henry tea. Now it's Alex calling Henry baby that can calm him down. It's Alex at KP carrying Henry around just to make him giggle on the dark days. It's Alex that lets Henry climb his lap and leaves kisses on his forehead, his cheeks, his tears that can make Henry feel safe.

Arthur never believed in God but GOD is he thankful for any deity who brought Alex to Henry. He knows his son is protected, happy, loved and above all : safe.

note: Sorry I rambled I just need more Arthur meeting Alex fics out there. I need his father instincts take over just for Alex to sweep in.
