bro do you know about the psa made to shed light on what ak tastic has done
It’s funny how I received this ask right as I reblogged the PSA. (sorry, not on tumblr often at all) Yes, I’ve read through the whole thing actually and shared it on a few other platforms uh … very disgusted and appalled to say the very very least as someone who considered him a mutual and has received art and designs from him. I never considered him a close friend whatsoever and it’s safe to say I’m not comfy being around him or related to his content whatsoever. I advise everyone to please read the PSA if you have the time and to reblog it, it’s on my account now…
My heart goes out to all the victims of his abuse. As someone who has also been treated unfairly and has gone through my own personal experiences with him, I hope all others who have dealt with him are doing okay, and safe. Love you all.

What is your favorite incarnation of Jason Todd, besides AK?

1. What are AK!Jay's love languages (giving & receiving)?
Giving:
Though I believe Jay is an unreliable narrator in AK: Genesis, this line from #2 may give some insight on how he shows love:
“From a half-eaten sandwich in the garbage to a dropped wallet—I grew up protecting what’s mine. Sharing my toys didn’t come naturally. Still doesn’t.”
He tries his best to respect your boundaries, but he's lost so much in his life and he's terrified of losing you too. So he can be overprotective with a jealous streak, but as he heals he tries to learn to let go.
Now that's not to say he isn't a kind, compassionate, and attentive lover. If somehow you're able to get close enough to him to have a relationship, he will worship you. He still sees himself as a ruined monster covered in repulsive scars, inside and out; a thing not worthy of love. If you take the time to break down his armor, to dig him out of his hell, to make him feel human again, he'll spend every single day of his life thanking you for loving him despite everything 💕
Receiving:
Jay has major abandonment issues so he needs lots of tending. He needs to know that you'll always still be there when he wakes up in the morning. He needs to feel safe, to know that your touches will always be tender, that you'll love him unconditionally, despite all the baggage that comes with loving him. Most importantly, he needs to trust you completely. His threadbare heart has been ripped from his chest and ground into the dirt so many times before; he has to know that you'll always treat it with care.

Red Hood: The Lost Days Jay 😍
3. Do you prefer AK!Jason or Red Hood!Jay in terms of outlook & costume (both still in the Arkhamverse)?
Costume? Definitely Arkham Knight, though his diy-tastic Red Hood getup does have a bit of adorable charm.
Outlook? Hard to choose between the two. I appreciate both Arkham Knight, for exploring his burning thirst for revenge, and Red Hood, as he deals with his trauma and tries to make up for what he did to the people of Gotham.

obligatory i remembered my tumblr login post
most of the time i come back here because the notifications i get from this app is kinda interesting or to find more cod art/fans but this time i came back because i was randomly clicking on old bookmarks on an old computer//gmail account of mine and I'd found a bunch of old artist's commission info that I'd saved as a kid and a lot of them were deleted. Naturally i went exploring to find out why and learned about AK-TASTIC and ooooo boy.
the allegations against this person run deep. I don't want to dig up any old dirt I just found it interesting idk. I have no idea why I saved this person's commission info like not even because of all the crap they've done but just bc their art seems kinda mid in general. But turns out they were an animator on youtube and from the videos i watched they did quite a few with an animator i'm very fond of so I think that's why i liked them. which is weird for me but whatever. So yea that's all. Normally I ramble on toyhouse but Idk I got here first.
Oh also i've been running into a lot of tumblr threads//subposts on funny interesting topics and it makes me so sad that i can never seem to find them on my explore or homepage. I don't know how to curate my algorithm to get those silly posts more often and upon searching for them nothing good really pops up for me.
that's all. I was going to post art here but like i already typed this really long post so I will spare you guys (i say into the crowdless audience.) I might come back here more often lol this seems like a great place to just rant about absolutely nothing.
